Amazing Wedding Airbrush Experience
10/10 would HIGHLY recommend After Dark Airbrush Tanning!
Tracy and her administrative team, Amanda & Lindsey, were absolutely fabulous to work with! I had found After Dark Tanning through another one of my wedding vendors (Michelle Artistry), and was so happy for the referral.
I had reached out to After Dark Airbrush through their online inquiry system for my bridal shower and wedding. Lindsay had reached out via email to get me scheduled and laid out all of the fees for travel and the airbrush tan itself, how much it was per person, when payment was due, etc. She did let me know that they were booked for my bridal shower week (June 2022), but that they had one opening a week prior and could put me on a waitlist if needed. I immediately booked her openings for both my bridal shower and wedding. I received a securely emailed contract and a list of "what to expect next and how to prep" prior to my appointment.
I thought pricing was very reasonable per person, and I loved that I could do the airbrush from the comfort of my home. Payment was also done via a secured site as well, and there were a few options to chose from.
A few days prior to my tanning appointment, I received a confirmation email with reminders of what to do, and how to prepare for the airbrush tan, the location of the tan, etc. - super helpful reminders (and their website is great for that information as well).
I was greeted by Tracy at my house. She was very professional, walking me through the process as she set up the pop-up spray tan booth. During my appointment, Tracy made me feel extremely comfortable in a usually uncomfortable situation (it's not every day you're stark naked in-front of a stranger - hehe). She was a great conversationalist and walked me through what she thought would look best with my skin tone, all of the poses to get the best application. Her products are all natural and had a smooth application. Once she was done, she gave me a print-out of what to do in the next 24-48 hours to ensure a long-lasting tan. Again, super helpful to have and to reference. She answered all of my questions and was in and out in I think less than 45 minutes.
My experience was the same when it came time for my wedding spray tan with 2 exceptions - she was now spray tanning my mom and sister because they had LOVED the way it turned out for my shower. During this spray tan session, she also asked what I thought of my bridal shower tan (darker, lighter, anything I would change?). She writes down your formula because she color matches to your exact preference/skin tone. She absolutely nailed it both times.
Tracy and her team did a fabulous job from start to finish. I've never received so many compliments at my bridal shower and wedding on how natural I looked, which is exactly what I wanted! Communication was wonderful from the emails, to their reminders, to their website. Tracy made me feel super confident and I'm so grateful for her and her team. I'd highly recommend Tracy! Amazing amazing amazing
I’ve had many spray tans before but none could compare to this one. I had a beautiful, even golden tan for my wedding that was natural looking & flawless! All my bridesmaids looked especially gorgeous with their tans. The service was thorough, easy & SO friendly. Cannot say enough good things! -

I was hesitant around booking a spray tan for my wedding (scared that it would look fake or rub off on my dress), but my tan was flawless. I did a trial and then had a spray tan for my wedding. They were so thorough asking questions not only about me and my dress color, hair color etc, but also the color of my bridesmaid dresses, my husbands complexion and suit color our family - just to be sure it all felt natural. They came to my parents house (they do not come to Jersey City where I live, nor do they climb stairs per their contract so that’s just an honest flag depending on where you live), and Tracy was on time, so friendly, made sure everything was prepped so that product did not get everywhere and gave me thorough instructions to follow before and after. I would HIGHLY recommend a trial just to be sure you are comfortable and have time to adjust as needed. But the tan lasted for a long time and evenly faded over time - which was a big plus considering I went right on a mini moon. Highly recommend this company - they know what they’re doing and if you’re second guessing getting one, DO IT!! -

When I say that Tracy was amazing I am not kidding. She comes right to your house, sends you information before so you are ready to get the most of your tan, walks you through each step and gives you amazing follow up information. All that great service and the tan was the best spray tan I have ever had. Even my hands and feet were PERFECT! Tracy has it all - talent, passion, and the patience of a saint!!! I can't say enough about how thrilled I was with After Dark Airbrush Tanning from start to finish! -

After Dark truly made me look and feel like the prettiest bride With a natural tan! Tracy mixes her own solution to make sure it matches you and brings out the glow in your own skin. I used them for my bridal shower and wedding. I received so many compliments on how natural it looked for a February wedding!!!! Tracy and her team were so responsive and professional. I am so happy I used them for my big day and will be using them again! -

Tracy is the BEST!!!!!! I have very fair skin, so getting a spray tan made me nervous at first, but I knew I wanted to have a light natural glow for our wedding. Lindsey answered all of my many questions thoroughly and quickly via email, and was so helpful!
Tracy comes to your house, makes you feel so comfortable, and mixes a color that's perfect for you! It's an awesome experience that leaves you with a tan that's customized to you and your skin tone! I didn't look orange or not like myself at all! It was awesome!

Spray tan party
I decided to go with After Dark for me, my bridesmaids, and my mother in law’s spray tans prior to the wedding because of all of the other amazing reviews/photos. I was a little nervous at first because I had gotten a really terrible spray tan once from a tanning salon. The owner of the company was actually the one who sprayed us, and prior to this she gave a long intro on what makes them different from the tanning salons, the process and after care. She IMMEDIATELY put everyone’s minds at ease. Not only was the process quick, it was also very fun. Everyone looked amazing for the wedding, including myself(the bride). The tans were all customized to what we were going to be wearing, and also our natural complexion. I would highly recommend that anyone who is in need of a spray tan use this company, you won’t regret it. -

Absolutely Wonderful!

After dark tanning is great! You never have to leave your home, since they come to you, and they use the best ingredients. Tracy is wonderful to work with! She is personable and knows how to obtain a color that will match your skin tone. My tan came out just the way I wanted it. The natural glow was perfect for my wedding! Thank you After Dark tanning! Absolutely Recommend
I am not sure how Tracy does it but she is simultaneously extremely professional and as down to earth as your best friend. She was SO knowledgable about tanning. She considered my wedding dress color, my skin tone, my hair coloring and mixed the color on site so it was personalized and so natural. She was punctual, clean, efficient, and made me and my cousin feel so comfortable throughout the process. Thank you for making me look amazing on my wedding day!! -

Looking for Excuses to Book Tracy Again
I am so glad I found Tracy on WeddingWire. I’ve never done a spray tan before and was super unsure about it.
The moment I met Tracy I knew I made the right decision. She answered my questions, was super professional, and just a wonderful person that I’m so glad I was able to meet in my vendor journey.
Tracy explained to me how her tan is made, what she does to make an extra glow if you wanted it, etc. I did a trial w her 2 weeks before (which I highly recommend you brides doing. It put my nerves at ease with the worry of “will I be too dark for an October bride”) and I was so happy w the results.
I wanted a very natural, post-summer glow. And that’s exactly what I got. I was so excited for Tracy to come back 2 days before my wedding so I could feel a “glow” again.
Her solution does not streak and does not rub off on your sheets (at least mine for both times they didn’t and I have white sheets).

Flawless and natural!
I’ve used this spray tan company twice, most recently for my own wedding day! Because they are able to mix up the mixture for each individual’s skin tone on site, it’s so flawless and natural every time, for everyone! Also, I am always watching the chemicals I put in and on my body, so it makes me so happy that this is an organic formula! Tracy is attentive, flexible, so knowledgeable, and so down to earth and fun! Great experience with her and after dark, each time! Looking forward to when I’ll need the next one! My mom and myself got spray tans for my wedding and Tracy was absolutely amazing! The booking process was super easy and who doesn’t love mobile spray tans! I loved that they had after work hours and coming straight to the house is just such a convenience! I loved hearing Tracy’s back story on after dark and she was so professional and I felt like I knew her for years after our tans! She was very knowledgeable in helping me pick the right color tan for my special day so I looked natural and look best for photos! I felt absolutely beautiful on my special day and I couldn’t have felt that way without after dark!!! -

She is super sweet and very accommodating! She came to my venue the night before my wedding and sprayed 9 girls and she did it so quickly!! We all looked amazing and definitely not orange!! I booked my spray tan for my wedding date (4/26/22) in mid December. They were too booked to have me do a trial - so we did the tan Thursday afternoon before the wedding to get the two washes. The tan tech was pleasant, made me feel comfortable, and made sure everything was cleaned. I ended up with a natural glow. I followed their instructions and it lasted almost 2 weeks. There was no color wear off on my white dress. I highly recommend them but book early!!! -

Tracy is so great at what she does! She made me feel so beautiful for my wedding day by trying to even out my tan lines. I loved the tan and got so many compliments! Very convenient that they travel to your location as well! Highly recommend after dark!! -
