  High quality, great price, & friendly team

  I am not sure if there is a better option than them for "salsomanos" like myself in Chicago. Great price, excellent quality, and Joe was amazing. Their manager is friendly, easy going, the best!

  Afinca'o helped make our wedding reception a total hit! Joe was very professional and responsive during the planning process. The band drove quite a distance to be at our wedding. Everyone loved them! We had a mixed wedding (Spanish and English) and we had both sides of our families on the dance floor the whole night. We had many compliments about the band and DJ throughout the evening. When my husband and I think back to last week at our wedding, we feel so blessed and thankful for such an incredible reception experience. Thank you Afinca'o!

  It's been eight years and my family is still raving about the Salsa Band I hired for my wedding.
  Honestly, it was a last-minute request from the groom. I've always loved Salsa music from Eddie Santiago to Marc Anthony. They traveled all the way from Chicago to perform at my wedding in Benton, Michigan.
  
  Afinca'o did not disappoint! We had a Dj as well but when the band started it took the wedding up several notches and really turned my wedding into a night to remember. For this alone, I will always be infinitely grateful to Joe Mende and the whole Afinca'o band.
  
  Afinca'o exceeded all expectations especially very responsive and amazing collaborators throughout the planning process. They were so great we still share stories of the songs they played that night eight years ago, OOoh so long ago but are fresh in our memories.
  
  I would not hesitate to book this amazing band! Highly recommend you book them for any event.

  Thank you for making our night everything we dreamed it could be.
  I cannot stop smiling thinking back on our wedding reception,Afinca'o took everyone's breathe away
  and kept our salseros dancing every time they took the stage.

  We booked Afinca'o for our wedding on Valentine's day in 2009. They were absolutely amazing. Having a live band at your wedding really makes a difference. All of our wedding guests were gushing over the band and a few even contacted them for their own future events.

  First off, I want to thank Joe for being so helpful and understanding when it came to my bridezilla moments. Even up until the wedding day, I was making changes and he totally took them in stride and made everything happen.
  
  The band...INCREDIBLE! They played some classics, some originals and kept everyone entertained. They even have some dance moves of their own!
  
  The DJ..this was offered as part of their "package". I was a little skeptical at first because people always told me to hire a DJ separately. I decided to take a risk and use them as the wedding DJ just because it seemed to be a little easier having to contact one person for all my entertainment needs. Joe and Tito ( I think that was his name) really did everything I asked for and played a great variety of music. My side of the family was all hispanic, but my husband's side was all caucasian, so they really played everything from Top 40, old school house/hip-hop, R & B, and even a little disco when my crazy uncle kept asking for it!
  
  They are your ONE-STOP SHOP for entertainment and trust me...Brides, the less people you have to deal with on phone/emails, the better!

  This band and it's manager Joe were phenomenal!!! Unbelievable talent, got guests up and moving immediately from the very first song and they never sat down after for hours! The quality was top notch... the best we and our guests had ever seen! Our family is from NYC/Bronx/Puerto Rico (traveled up from there for the event), and we felt like we had El Gran Combo, Marc Anthony, etc. there playing live!!! They were flexible, accommodating, reliable, patient, understanding, followed our directions/guidelines/ requests to a tee, and the pure incredible talent/sound/quality truly blew us all away! I would rehire and recommend them in a heartbeat!! ❤

And boy did they show up! They played our 2 hour cocktail, but by the end of their third set the crowd was chanting for an encore. They brought down the house, and the dance floor was full throughout the afternoon. I would hire them for any party, any time! By far one of the highlights of our wedding weekend.
