We were looking for a tent, tables and chairs for a Graduation Party, we were not sure exactly how much we should plan for but the staff was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. Everything was delivered and set up exactly as planned. The delivery crew was very courteous and made sure everything was up to our standards before leaving. Looking forward to doing business with them again next year when we will have another graduation party.

Went to Affordable Party Rentals after getting a quote from another company. We went with Affordable Party Rentals because they were literally HALF of what the other company charged, were MUCH closer to our venue, and let us pick up the rentals up on Friday and bring back on Monday. Everyone was super friendly!! I called a few times about some items listed on their website that they didn't have pictures of and their staff actually took pictures and emailed them to me!! That's customer service!!! We got pretty much all of our decorations, tables, linens, chairs, and other things from them and it looked fabulous! Would definitely recommend them to anyone! You cannot beat their prices!!

APR was very professional and very flexible when we used them for our wedding. We had pews for seating but needed some extra chairs to fill in for more guests. They were very understanding and very easy to work with! I never knew they had even come to the venue and all of a sudden all the chairs were set up perfectly and it was all ready to go!! I would definitely recommend using them!

These folks did a great job handling this part if my day. They were very understanding about my several changes. There was a payment plan that worked for me. I would highly recommend them!

Affordable Party Rentals is the best!! They have everything you need for any event! If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have been able to afford the wedding of my dreams! Everyone there is so easy to work with and you can tell they care about each of their customers. They kept in constant contact with me regarding payments and delivery times. Martha was such a pleasure to work with. She made everything so easy for me and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I wanted. Can't wait to use this company for other events in the future!

Everyone at APR was so helpful throughout the entire process, especially Martha! She helped me from the very beginning and couldn't have made it any easier. I really didn't know what I was doing when it came to planning my wedding and she gave me such great ideas! I defiantly reccommend using APR for any event! You can't beat their prices and quality.

This company was very professional and also so friendly! They allowed us to pick up our rented items on Thursday afternoon and we were able to return them on Monday before noon. They worked so well with us and their prices are also the best!

After my original event rental place dropped the ball the week before my wedding, I called all around town for table linens for my reception. Affordable Party Rentals had enough in stock and had the best price. The service was wonderful!

This business was started by a husband/wife team and the wife was so wonderful to me! She was so helpful in every way! When our church decorator crapped out on us, she was there to offer us some rentals and suggestions for what we might do in his place. She was just very gentle. She was just great! She let us pay in payments and she was always helpful in her suggestions and her big mantra was "It's gonna be okay, darlin' " *laugh*

We rented a bar from them that went perfectly with our venue, Lichterman Nature Center. The bar did have to be picked up and brought back by us, but it was at a good price point.

They have been extremely helpful with our wedding rentals. I had to add extra rentals half way through and they helped me with no problem. I would suggest their service and also go to say that their prices are very good.

Great service, set-up the way I want it, but charge extra to remove the chairs on the same day, instead of move later on Monday which is free.

We had a great experience at Affordable. We had a snafu with our rental truck and by some sort of magic they fit all 240 chairs, cushions and multiple tables in a truck many feet too small. The value is great. I do wish they had a wider selection of linens and a bigger inventory of each product (especially chivari chairs). They were also the vendor that called me most frequently (aside from my planner). Every time i had a minor change I had to fill out form after form including credit card approvals, ect. I am sure there is some way for them to streamline this. Otherwise it was a great experience. Will definitely use them again!

They delievered everything as requested and somewhat worked with us on a delivery time. The biggest concern I had with APR was that a guest injured his shoulder when the chair broke beneath him. (No, he is not a huge fellow). Other than that, we were pleased

I rented a lot of brown raught iron pieces which looked beautiful in a candle lit santuary. I also rented columns and lit ficus trees. It really added atmosphere to the sanctuary and looked incredible!

We only rented chairs because the cost was way too high for our budget. We bought a tent from Sams Club, which was cheaper than we would have been able to rent one for a single day from any of the local companies. The downside was that we had to set it up ourselves, which would have been difficult if we hadn't had so many family members willing to help out. The chairs we got arrived exactly when they were expected and were picked up on time as well. The only issue was the price, but every other company was just as expensive if not worse.

The people at Affordable Party Rentals were very nice and helpful. They stayed in constant contact with me to make sure everything was handled the way we wanted. We received up to date invoices throughout the process. The only hiccup we had was with the pickup of the items after the reception. I coordinated the date, but I assumed they would work with the venue to schedule a time. We received frantic calls while on our honeymoon out of the country because they had problems accessing the venue on the scheduled day. Not sure where the miscommunication was, but other than that, we were pleased.

It's the cheapest place in Memphis, and the value for what you get is good. Customer service is very responsive and everything arrived on-time and in the condition it was promised. About a week before the wedding, my guest count changed and I had to decrease the number of chair covers and then increase the number of tablecloths and bows for chair covers. They still charged me for the original (not the decreased) number of chair covers, even though the total with the increased tablecloths and bows would have still been more than the original contract total. That kind of turned me off a little because the cost was going to be greater with the added tablecloths and bows anyways, but in all fairness, there was some sort of advance notice clause written into the contract that I signed.

This vendor seemed like a dream come true until my wedding day. I had ordered chairs to be delivered and set up for my outdoor ceremony and they were never delivered. They said it was the first it had ever happened, did apologize and seemed to feel terrible, and refunded everything (way more than just chairs) we ordered from them. I was very upset and disappointed but at least they refunded it all.

I made this order over the phone and communicated in that way and via email. It seemed from start to finish that I was less of a valued client, and more of an inconvenience. Even delivery was a chore to set up, and wasn't done at the time originally discussed, or at the convenience of the venue's availability. I was glad when the chairs were set up and I didn't have to communicate with them anymore!

Affordable Party Rentals was hands down the WORST part of my wedding planning experience. If I had it to do all over again, I would gladly pay double for chairs, tables, etc. so that I wouldn't have to deal with them again. STAY AWAY. It's not worth any money you'll save.

There is only one person in the office who is empowered to make changes to your contract. She is rude & difficult to work with. She is also difficult to get in touch with. You have to call the office, leave a message, & at some point that day she'll call you back.

Did you hire a wedding planner to make your life easier? Not with them. They don't work with third parties. Therefore, since my wedding planner wasn't on the contract (aka, paying for my rentals), they wouldn't deal with her. Wouldn't speak to her, wouldn't let her do anything on my behalf. I offered to give written, signed permission for her to act on my behalf. No go.

One month before our wedding, our final count was due. One month before my wedding, my wedding planner was in the ICU. When I was finally able to talk to her again, I confirmed the changes we would need to make to our order (subtracting 20 chairs, adding some stands, buckets, etc.) So I called Affordable. I explained the situation (the person with the most knowledge of my wedding had been unable to speak for a week, so I was calling with 27 days until my event, not 30). Even though I was adding items to my order that more than covered the items I was taking away, they still charged me the penalty for the chairs & full price for the new items. How nice.

The day before my wedding, I get a call from Affordable. The dragon wants to know where my tent contract is. She tells me for the first time that because my wedding is outside (a fact they have known for 6 months), I need to have a tent on standby. Even though there was a 0% chance of rain, they would not set up without a tent. Nice time to bring that up. Talk about a NIGHTMARE.

I reserved a rental order last week for a dinner party for family and friends. This past weekend, my aunt, an important guest at this planned gathering, contracted bacterial meningitis. As I was exposed to the infection in caring for her, I had to postpone the event and asked Affordable Party Rentals if I could modify my reservation for a later date. The manager not only refused to modify my reservation, but she also insinuated that I was blaming Affordable Party Rentals for my beloved aunt's illness simply by asking for a postponement of our reservation. My aunt is literally on her deathbed, and the unprofessionalism and lack of empathy Affordable Party Rentals has shown is truly astounding. I called APR immediately once we received my aunt's diagnosis and have done everything in my power to handle this in a respectful way. I refuse to use their services and HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for a reputable party rental company to go elsewhere in the Memphis area.
