Amazing Rentals
Affordable and Luxury Event Rentals really helped make our special day amazing. They were so easy to work with. They went above and beyond to help us get what rentals we needed for our big day. They have a wide variety of wedding accessories to rent and really enjoyed working with them. I would highly recommend them for any big event! They were awesome! -

Incredible and reliable event rentals
This team was so wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a special event. They were available and communicative when I had any ideas, thoughts or questions on the details that brought together our wedding day. Great Company for Event Rentals
We used Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals for our wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. We rented plates, silverware, water glasses, wine glasses, rock glasses, cake cutting set, drink dispensers, table linens, and napkins. The price point was great, the company was easy to work with, and everything was delivered in great condition. Very happy to have worked with such a professional company, I'd highly recommend them. -

Great company from which to rent a tent
We rented an 80' x 40' tent for a large function and the staff could not have been any more helpful and professional. Everything was delivered on time and removed as scheduled. Highly recommend Joann and her great team! -

We used Affordable Rentals for our wedding. They set up a tent, dance floor , table and chairs. The girls in the office were very helpful and never complained about all my changes! When the set up crew were professional and did a great job. -

We rented gold chargers and an aisle runner from Affordable Rentals. They handled everything professionally and we were beyond pleased with their customer service. We ended up having a lower guest count than expected and upon pick-up they allowed us to adjust the amount of chargers ordered. Our wedding was the day before New Year's Eve. Our chargers were due to be returned on the 2nd, but we were unable to make this happen. They were so accommodating and flexible with our return date. It was nice to be dealing with such incredibly understanding people! We would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for event rentals. -

We used Affordable and Luxury Tents for our last minute family wedding. My husband is in the military and we planned a fall wedding; but he was deployed sooner than expected. They helped me plan an family wedding , in a tent. Will use them again when we plan our reception.

Love, love this company!! The staff is amazing and we had the best experience.
We really loved the fact we did not need an appointment to come to the showroom and look at items. It worked out great for our last minute trip to Virginia Beach on a Saturday. The delivery crew was professional and did a great job.

Happy, Happy, Happy Bride :). We had such a wonderful experience with Affordable; they are so personable, kind and willing to help with all your needs. My event was a small event a our local church, but they made me feel and though I was having the most high profile wedding of the season. I cannot express my gratitude to the staff and delivery drivers. I worked with JoAnne for my wedding. She is so nice and helpful. The weekend of my wedding; rain and more rain. JoAnne kept calm during all my break down moments and worked with me to ensure we had everything we needed for my wedding to be a great success. During our initial meeting, we worked on our "A" plan (my ideal wedding day). But then she made us work on the "B" plan; rain plan (during the meeting I did not think this was necessary; but thank gosh we did the planning! The week of my wedding. I was so happy we had already established our Plan B! huge help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AFFORDABLE AND JOANNE! -

My mother and I worked with Jenn for my wedding. What a wonderful experience. The entire office staff is great, you can stop in anytime and they are so polite and eager to help you with your event. I rented linens, china, silverware, glassware and ballroom chairs ($5.00 only!!). All items were delivered and ready for us to set up. Would highly recommend Affordable :) -

I had such a wonderful experience working with Diana at Affordable. The showroom is amazing. I was ablet to show up anytime to work on my table scape and look at my linens. Diana was very helpful; since I changed my color scheme 3 times! My mother in law used Affordable for our rehersal dinner in her back yard with a large tent; again, AMAZING :)

Very happy with Affordable. I worked with Jenn for my wedding rentals. I was able to go to the showroom with out an appointment and pick out my linens and other items. This was very helpful since I work full time and had to go on my lunch hour. Even though I kept making changes Jenn was very helpful and never seemed put out. Trying to cut costs we opted to pick up all the items to save on the delivery fee; they let me pick up the rentals several days before my wedding! This was a huge help. I highly recommend this company for anyone having a wedding! -

Very pleased with Affordable Rentals. The weather was not the best the weekend of our wedding. The office staff was very helpful with all the changes we needed to make and never seemed "put out" by making the changes. We ordered tables, chairs and linens for a rental home in Sandbridge, VA.
Prior to our event we visited the showroom and Kristen helped us pick out all our linens, china, tables, etc. What i liked most was the showroom. We were able to set up the tables with the linens, china and chairs. I would highly recommend this company for your event. -

Joann was the absolute BEST!! Considering there was a hurricane headed our way and all the planning we had done, had to be thrown out the window 4 days before the wedding, Joann was never more than a phone call or text away! I could not have asked for anyone who helped keep my optimistic about my vision. We went from a full tent to having to cram into a barn and change tables etc. They were very reliable and easy to work with. Even with the million changes that had to happen, they were more than understanding! I would highly recommend them to anyone for their wedding!! -

I could not have been happier on my wedding day- thanks to Affordable and Luxry Events!!! From the minute I inquired about their services, I was overwhelmed by their expertise. Any requests (& we had many through out the planning process) were promptly addressed to accommodate us for our special day. The office staff were so amazing and helpful that I didnt even end up needing to hire a planner after all! We worked with Michelle for our event. She was very helpful in planning our event; since we live out of the area she really was a key part of our planning. The thing that stands out is she took the time to reach out to our caterer and make sure we had all the proper rentals that were need to complete our event.
On the day of delivery, the men were late on delivering the rentals...but they called us an hour before and let us know they were going to be late so we could re-plan our day.

This was a great group to work with. I found the lived up to their name of "affordable" and "luxurious".
There were some large storms prior to the wedding - Affordable and Luxury Tents held off putting up the tent to ensure that the grass had some time to dry out - they completely revamped the schedule to accommodate that request. The team that came to install the tents (we had one for Rehearsal dinner and wedding) - were fantastic and easy to work with.
We requested a number of quotes - this one was the most cost effective for what we wanted to do -and the services was fantastic. -

When my order arrived all the items were delivered on time and neatly placed in my mothers garage. We had to add on some items the day before and they also arrived with my original order.

My December wedding at the Aviation Museum was so beatiful. I met with Joann and she helped me pick our runners, napkins and chair covers. She had some great ideas and turned out perfect.
I was a little nervous about the wedding since we have over 300 people attending. Joann came early for the day of set up and went over top helping me set up the entire event. I have a new friend! Thanks Joann. God Bless! -

Joann was such a pleasure to work with for my event. Her company put up a tent in my Aunt's Backyard for my wedding. The guys arrived on time and set the tent up and even hung a chandalier that I bought from Ebay. Before my event Joann met with me several times to decide on they layout of the tent. She was able to design the entire event on a computer program.
The showroom is open everyday and I was able go in and set my tables and try my centerpieces on the tables.

The staff is so helpful. From the office staff to the delivery guys. We started working with another company and they would not call us back or give us our quote. Still waiting from them for pricing.

My daughter's Liz's wedding turned out like a picture in a magazine. Joann was so good and patient with all our last minute add ons and changes. Everything was set up to perfection and her kindness throughout the entire process was amazing.
We would recomend them to everyone who is having a wedding and reception. -

MICHELLE is awesome! She made my life so much easier during this process. I had to change my order probably 7-8 times - adding items, taking items off, adding them again :) She never got annoyed. Every time I called her she was happy to hear from me and MORE then willing to help me. She wanted to make sure my wedding was exactly what I wanted! She is amazing! We had a great experience with Joann and her team at affordable. My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Hunt Club Farm in Virginia beach. Affordable set up the a tent and heater outside for the ceremony 3 days early so we could decorate and practice at the rehearsal. Joann was great to work with and extremely flexible with meeting times. I was able to communicate via email and in person easily and came to her severa times with ideas and decor that she helped integrate with the tables, chairs, linens and china we rented. Affordable had a great relationship with our venue that made our wedding day a breeze. I would highly recommend their services to anyone having a wedding in the hampton roads area. Not only were they easy to work with but extremely professional. -

The rentals I needed!
I really only needed to rent chairs and a couple of round tables, they had all that I needed. I will say that they were not flexible with drop off/pick up dates for my venue's sake. It was not a traditional wedding venue so they had to figure out where to store the items for us to use a couple of days later. -

Joanne with Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals was so communicative, helpful, patient, respectful, and kind during this entire process. The gentlemen who delivered the rentals were incredibly nice and helpful. I would recommend this company to any of my friends, work, or family looking for rentals. Their prices were also reasonable and they were so flexible as far as the renting length. Overall I had a very pleasant experience with every representative of this company and will gladly do business again in the future. -

Pretty good overall
The office staff were very friendly and the setup staff were honestly the best part. Darrin and his team are fantastic to talk with and extremely knowledgeable and professional.
The tent was delivered a day late because of weather and the office staff tried their best but did not communicate the details in the best way. Set up went smoothly the next day. Pick up was a day late and they never called to say they were on the way. They picked up the tent without anyone there, which is fine, but did leave zip ties all over the ground of the venue. Over all they were pretty good and I would recommend them, with the knowledge I may not be contacted at the right times. -

There were hiccups with a few items missing from our order but the team that came to help set up was so helpful with making sure we had everything we needed! They are very friendly and I would hire them again! -

I used Affordable & Luxury event rentals for all my guest table linens, napkins, china, chair covers & sashes, glassware and flatware and was extremely impressed!!! Michelle and Joann are genuine and extremely professional. Going to the showroom was a treat as they put a table together for me with all my linens, china etc. so I could see exactly what everything would look like! I would definitely recommend them! -

Joann and the other staff at Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals were helpful and easy to work with, especially when a gloomy forecast caused us to have to add in tents a few days before the wedding. Joann talked us through the tent options and put together some ideas for setup within a couple of hours, and offered to send someone to the venue to take measurements and make sure they would fit. The delivery staff set everything up as planned, and the chairs, tables, and tents were sturdy and in good condition.
My one complaint was the timing of delivery and pickup: we requested a delivery at a specific time or later, to allow us to check in to the venue before they arrived, but they arrived half an hour early and we ended up having to rush (however, they were very pleasant about waiting around for 10 minutes). They also arrived earlier than expected to pick up the items. -

Our caterer hooked us up with Affordable Rentals, and we had a good experience. Our venue was a rented beach house in Sandbridge, so we had to bring everything in as far as tables, chairs, linens, etc. Everything we ordered delivered exactly as we ordered it, which was great. We did find this vendor to be slow with communication during the process, as I requested bids for revised orders, but our caterer stayed on them to get answers to us. Early on in the process, we did see their warehouse in person and picked out all linens and tables - that was incredibly helpful, especially since I was planning the wedding from NY. We had the rentals delivered and picked up, and they gave us a 4-5 hour window for drop off and pickups, which was a bit inconvenient but it all worked out. I was happy with all the tables, chairs, and linens. -

Although the people who work there were very professional I was disgusted with the chairs when I received them. We paid over $200 for 80 chairs. When we picked the up the gentleman who worked in the bay where we were supposed to pick them up he had no idea what we were talking about. The chairs were absolutely disgusting. They were rusted and when my fiance put them up on the beach they were filthy. They actually looked like they had been thrown up on. My fiance had to clean the chairs 2 hours before our wedding. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!!! -

Awful! Do not use these people. Their prices are standard and their product isn't particularly unique. We went with them because we had a 30% off coupon for going to an open house. We rented a few chairs, a lecturn, and a Chuppa. In the beginning they were great- flexible, attentive, even let us take the lecturn out on the beach to make sure it would be loud enough. But the day of our wedding they were HOURS late and impossible to get on the phone. We paid for a timed delivery and they were late dropping off and picking up the rented items. When I contacted them regarding my unsatisfaction with their services they were not only rude and had irrelevent excuses but did not offer to compensate me at all. I do not recommend them to anyone who wishes to keep thier sanity on their wedding day. -

I called Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals the week of my wedding due to an emergency issue with another vendor that left me chairless. The front desk was incredibly professional and prompt and were able to send us our contract within minutes.
Unfortunately, when my husband picked up the resin chairs we asked for, one of the managers walked out and told him that he couldn't take them because they were specifically for delivery customers only, and gave him white metal Samsonite chairs. When I saw that there must've clearly been a mistake, I called the office and spoke to another manager who stated that there were three different types of chairs they offer and the chairs I'd actually requested were all reserved. Being that it was the day before my wedding, we used what we had, and I let the manager know that I'd be in to discuss the issue at hand on Monday.
After speaking with the manager that gave my husband the "non-delivery" chairs, and being told rudely and repeatedly "We've never had this problem before, I don't know what to tell you", it's been made clear that Affordable & Luxury Event Rentals are not in the business of taking responsibility for their own clerical errors and care very little about their customer satisfaction. It's incredibly disheartening and unfortunate that this is their way of doing business.
Future brides, heed with caution. -

I wanted to write this review to make sure anyone in the area looking for event rentals does not use Affordable & Luxury Tents. As the bride and planner, I constantly had to maintain the communication line with them. Previously we had worked with Atlantic Event Rentals, and since they had been bought out, we had a new person to work with but he was the only one that had stayed from the old company. He was terrible at getting in touch or answering emails, and up until our day we had asked several times if he was confident in what was going on with the new company. Our rentals came a day late, and we were told they had a delivery window, however if I had received a courtesy call, we could've handled things differently. After the wedding, our rentals were picked up a day late, and they even took a personal item of ours by accident. After our honeymoon I realized it was missing, and had to call them, and they had it. They didn't even rent highchairs and they knew it wasn't theirs. I have 3 weddings booked to plan in the next year and will tell everyone not to use this company. Go with Distinctive! They were excellent!! We rented some napkins and sofas....A++ service all the way with them! -

HORRIBLE!!! I had signed a contract for their beach package and added 70 extra chairs (total of 90). When they came to deliver the items, they REFUSED to move my chairs a few feet further off of the beach access (their policy states 50 feet from drop off which led that to be on the actual beach access- who can have a ceremony on a beach access????) They were well aware of my location and mentioned NOTHING about it being a problem prior to me booking. As a bride this is one of my worst fears. It was also raining the day of my wedding to make things worse. They didn't even budge. My father was on the phone with the manager trying to come up with a solution and... nothing. They wouldn't even let US set them up due to "liability" reasons. OH, AND they shorted us 20 chairs. So I had a ceremony on a beach access with 70 chairs, rain and guests standing.
This industry is ALL about customer service and for the amount of money we paid I feel like they should have at least came to a compromise with us. I would never want another bride to experience this on their special day! -

I rented with Affordable for my wedding on Saturday, the dance floor that was suppose to arrive on Friday (the week before they said Thursday) with my chairs and tables never showed with my chairs and tables. The driver said that it was on a truck following right behind him, this was at 1:00pm. When 6:30 came around and still had no dance floor, WE HAD to call them and they said that it would be there at 10am the next day, THE DAY OF MY WEDDING! When 10am came around there were still no dance floor, we called and talked to the manager and she said they should be pulling in the driveway, an hour later the dance floor showed up (the driveway doesn't take an hour to drive down). After dealing with all of their unpleasant drivers it was finally time for my wedding when getting to the reception two of the chairs had already broke, my cousin who weighs 90 pounds had a huge bruise on her side (so weight was not an issue) and one of my bridesmaids fathers had hit the ground too.
After the wedding the next day we were cleaning up we realized one of the table legs were so rusted it was about to fall off. I have been calling to talk about the situations, not looking for anything but maybe some sympathy for all of the hassle I had to go through on my wedding day and they do not care. The manager tells me that I did not have to sit there and wait for the dancefloor but any bride will tell you all the table settings revolve around the dancefloor and I wanted to make sure it was in the correct spot, I was late for my hair appointment from waiting. All of the problems somehow became a result of something I did when all that happened was I paid a ridiculous amount of money for horrible products and the company does not care. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Your wedding day should be just as you want it and you should not have to have the worry of someone falling out of a chair and hurting themselves or a table falling and catching your venue on fire. -
