Best Wedding Decision for SW Michigan

We got married at a winery and did not want our guests to drink and drive since ubers would be hard to come by. Transportation was something that stressed me out since I was not from the area and they were FANTASTIC. They were so easy to book and communicate with. On the day of our wedding they discussed everything with our day of coordinator and I didn't have to worry about a thing!! You will not regret providing transportation for your guests with affordable limousine.

The very best!

I am a Wedding Coordinator and I get asked a lot about special transportation. Affortable Limousine is the only transportation company I highly recommend to my clients. Customer service is top notch! The drivers ALWAYS arrive on time. Buses/trolleys are clean and drivers are always delightful.

These guys rock!

We used Affordable Limousine to transport our wedding guests from our venue in Hopkins, MI to our hotel in downtown Grand Rapids. We had 2 mega charter buses and one smaller shuttle bus. All three drivers were so sweet, they even came inside just to say hi and congratulate me on my big day! They definitely put up with a rowdy post-wedding crowed on their bus, but our guests said the drivers and the trip was lovely. So easy to work with and extremely accommodating and communicative. Would recommend these guys to everyone! Thank you for getting everyone home safely!

Professional and Kind

Due to COVID-19, we had to move our wedding location and downsize significantly. Because of that, we no longer needed limo services. The team at affordable limousine was so understanding and worked with us to cancel no questions asked. Although we ended up not even using their services, their professionalism and genuine care for their costumers during this time speaks to how they run their business. We will definitely being using them in the future if the opportunity arises!

Great company!

I had a wonderful time using Affordable Limo for our wedding. We initially had booked a big party bus but with changes due to COVID I had to change the reservation to just a getaway car. Every interaction I've had with the team was professional and helpful, I'll definitely use them for any future rental needs. The limo that picked us up from the wedding was extremely clean and the driver was professional and very personable!

Great transportation company!

Affordable Limo was great to work with! They followed up days before our wedding, called when they arrived for our pick up. The bus was clean, and very nice to ride in. Sam Ballou, our driver, was super personable and responsive to anything our bridal party needed!

Awesome experience!

My husband and I used Affordable Limousine's 30 person party bus for our wedding. The bus was in great condition, clean and had a bathroom! We all had a blast and the company and driver were so nice, thoughtful and flexible. The driver called a few days before to confirm details, texted us to let us know when he had arrived and when we were running a little behind, he told us just to enjoy our time and not rush. Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend!!

We had a great experience using Affordable Limousine & Party Bus for our wedding! I always had a pleasant experience interacting with the staff when booking and paying for services. Our driver was punctual and everything ran smoothly and as expected. The party bus itself was beautiful inside and had everything that we could hope for. It was really easy to connect our phones so that we could play whatever music we wanted to. Everybody had a great time in the bus and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The trolley was a unique and fun way for the bridal party to travel!

We had so much fun with the trolley! We had our whole wedding party 14 and their dates, so 28 total including us all on the trolley to drive us around between the ceremony and the rehearsal. Our driver was incredible so attentive and polite. He made sure to be at the door ready to help the girls down whenever we stopped. We had the trolley for 2 hours and brought on our own drinks and a few snacks. Our wedding was in the winter and we stayed nice and warm in the Trolley. We would highly recommend this to anyone in need of transport for their bridal party.

Fantastic Limo Service

We were able to book a limo with them with only a weeks notice. We found that many of our friends had nightmare experiences with limo companies. We could not find a company anyone would recommend. We went with this company just by crossing our fingers that they would arrive on time with a limo in good repair. The limo was very nice and the driver was friendly and very professional! I would recommend this company to ALL of our friends or family! Our kids said it was the best day of their lives while riding from Grand Rapids to Grand Haven, MI. Thank you!! Fantastic job!

Wedding party transportation

We hired them for our wedding mainly for transportation for our bridal party to take wedding photos. They were onetime and super professional. Everything ran smoothly with them. We could bring drinks on and play our own music. Decent pricing.

Reliable and Prompt

Curt was spectacular and made sure that our group got to where they needed to go and on time! We had some multi stop trips to our venue and Affordable Limousine made sure that everyone made it to the wedding venue on time! Curt was professional and reliable but also fun, and made sure that after the wedding, everyone got home from the bar safe and sound and had a great time!

From start to finish, I highly recommend Affordable Limo! They were super responsive with quotes, booking and more importantly the day of our event. We had Dean as our driver and he was great the whole day! We had a party bus for the afternoon of our wedding for the bridal party and also in the evening for ourselves and our guests to and from the hotels to our venue. Dean was on time and communicated with us the whole evening when he needed to. We had a wonderful time on the bus! I loved how they did not charge for multiple stops like some transportation companies do. One thing to note, the service charge does not include the gratuity. So, make sure you still tip your driver!

Of all our vendors this was one of the easiest to work with. I set it up and 8 months later, the week of the wedding, I called to confirm everything and update changes. They even called again the night before to review and confirm our transport needs. Everything went off without a problem in regards to our transport. The trolley was adorable and great for pictures and everyone loved it!
There were better pictures but this was what I had on hand. I hope it helps you get the idea a little. I would absolutely recommend them and will try to find a way to use them again myself!

They were great! I’ve worked with a few other transportation companies in the past for work and I’ve never had a company who is so professional. Their drivers show up on time, the buses are clean, and the air conditioning was working. Three things that can be hard to comeby with some transportation companies. Our driver was wonderful and our wedding party had the best time. I would highly recommend this company to any bride to be.

We rented the party bus on our wedding day for two different reservations. The driver was early for both pick up times and willing to take us anywhere we wanted. And even better, there was a 3 hour break between our two reservation's and myself and all my guests were able to leave their items on the bus. Our driver was super polite and very helpful!! This was worth ever penny spent and made our day that much more special!! Looking forward to celebrating future events with them!

Myself and my husband used Affordable Limousine and Party Bus for our wedding and we are so happy we did! We used both a shuttle bus before the wedding and the coach party bus for the end of the night. The drivers were both so much fun and really made the experience wonderful for us and our guests.

We chose this company because they were far and away the most responsive and reasonably priced compared to the several others I contacted. We got a 21 passenger party bus to shuttle our wedding party around for photos. Kevin, our driver, was wonderful, helping me around in my heels through the ice and snow on our New Year's Day wedding. He was there to pick us up early and made the entire experience stress-free and fun!

So easy to work with! The party bus was on time, stocked with all essentials other than alcohol which we provided ourselves, and we made it to all of our photo destinations in our tight time frame. The driver, Robert, was exceptional, and went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. He even left the bus to hold umbrellas for the girls during pictures! I have used Affordable Limousine & Party Bus for multiple events. Scott R was our driver and he was wonderful. He was very helpful getting my big dress in and out of the limo and he was helpful to the rest of the bridal party by putting a step down for us to get in and out. He listened to our directions and suggestions and followed along as well as helping us find a place for a bathroom. Scott even let us borrow his umbrella as it was raining. He was great at navigating the streets of Grand Rapids during Art Prize and was able to change plans so we could get around. Overall Affordable Limousine & Party bus was great to work with.

We hired AL's Trolley for our Celtic Pub Wedding's transporatation. We arranged for the trolley to not only bring the weddding party to and from our venue, but to also do rounds between the hotels and our venue before and after our wedding so guests could celebrate without the drive. They were wonderful! Very professional and flexible about our strange schedule. Our driver was great, he happily made an impromptu run back to the hotel to get the forgotten bridal party flowers, and was kind and sweet to our guests. They allowed us to decorate to our theme, although the trolley is so lovely, it wasn't really needed.
We would absolutely recommend them!

Affordable Limousine did a great job for our wedding. They were so cooperative with adjusting our times and the locations we were going. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs limo services, and I will definitely be calling them for our next evening out.

We used the party bus for our transportation from the ceremony to the reception and we had a blast! The driver was very kind and helpful. The whole wedding party danced the whole way and drank champagne. We stopped along the way to take photographs. Be sure to bring food/drinks if desired as it is not included.

We rented the 30 passenger party bus. The driver was at the church on time waiting when we were out of the ceremony. The inside of the bus had plenty of room for our wedding party and the atmosphere was awesome with the lights and the music!

After hearing many friends have party bus nightmares, I was cautious when choosing who to use.
Affordable Limo was a very professional company to work with. We rented their large 40 passenger party bus. I was nervous something would happen the week of the wedding but they truly followed through on their end.
I received communication from them starting two weeks prior to our wedding that everything was all set and booked to go.
I also received an email from the driver introducing himself. He also provided suggestions on different placed to go for pictures and ideas.
It was very reassuring for me that not only the office staff but our drive took the time to introduce themselves to me prior to wedding day.
They bus was clean and our wedding party had a blast in the bus!

We rented a limo from affordable limo for our wedding to get from our ceremony to our reception. Our driver was BJ and he was awesome. He made everyone feel comfortable, he would stop whenever we asked him too, he let us be ourselves in the limo and let us just have fun in the back without interrupting. He would also ask before he would do anything.
We basically told him to drive around to wherever until our reception and that is exactly what he did.
If you rent from here, ask for the BJ for your driver. Very professional and very good at what he does.

I used the 21 passenger limo bus to transport my wedding party the day of the wedding. The bus was very clean and the driver was extremely professional. When I rented it, I told them I only needed it for 2 hours between the wedding and reception, so they offered to have the bus come pick up the wedding party from the hotel and take us to the church to use up that extra hour, which was beyond helpful. The driver was there right on time and even came into the hotel to help us carry our belongings onto the bus. He was also very patient and flexible during the wait time he had to deal with when we were driving around town taking pictures! The staff in the office is also very kind and professional, they really take the time to answer all of your questions and make you feel at ease on your big day :)

This was such a great find. Affordable Limo GR was so easy to work with, and very professional. They made sure to have all the addresses/details in advance, and were very timely on the day of our wedding. The limo was clean, exciting, and it was great to be able to offer snacks and music for our bridal party to enjoy. I was very impressed with their prices, and every penny was worth it.

i loved our limo driver. He helped load and unload the limo with all of our crap, waited around for us without complaining or looking bored, called to tell us he was going to be 5 minutes late, and even drove around the church so we could have an "exit".

Highly recommended.

Great service!

Driver was friendly, on time, and polite. We ended up going almost an hour over our booked time and dos not feel rushed or pressured. We were able to pay for the extra time on the spot and our driver was very understanding. I would suggest providing water in the limo. Even if it has to be purchased.

We rented one of the two trolley party buses that Affordable Limo offers and it was perfect for our wedding. Spacious, clean, and a great alternative to a traditional bus. Our driver was on time & great!

Our driver was amazing! He made sure we had everything we needed and even stopped and grabbed a straw for one of the bridesmaids that needed one! I would definitely use them again if the need for transportation ever arises again!

Our Limo driver was very flexible and would stop where ever we wanted to take pictures with our bridal party. The service was great, the bus was clean, they even provided cups and ice for our drinks. It is a little pricy, but comparable to other limo services. Beware of the 20% service charge they tack on the price. This is not a tip, it is just another way for them to look like they have cheaper rates, but once they charge you 20%, you are back up to a normal overcharged limo, and still need to tip your driver. As long as your willing to pay about $ 350 an hour when it comes down to it, it is worth it.

Affordable Limo does not live up to the name "affordable" but we were VERY happy with them. They were easy to get a hold of and on time. I called many other limos companies and going with Affordable limo was a no brainer. If you can afford them, I'd reccomend them to anyone!

i was very happy with the service. the day of our wedding I got a call saying the excursion i was suppose to have wasn't going to make it due to engine problems. they told me they could upgrade me for free to the 45 passenger Coach party bus. It actually worked out great because we had a bar, bathroom and we were able to move around the bus without feeling crowded. The company also does split shifts which was great for us since we did most of our pictures before the wedding. they picked us up before the ceremony to bring us downtown for pictures and then came after the wedding to bring us to the reception. The only fault was that i had a hard time getting a hold of someone at first to book them.

Wedding Transporation

We used affordable limousine for our bridal party transportation as well as a guest shuttle! We originally were to have a party bus for our bridal party but there was a mechanical problem the week of - they found an alternative of a Coach bus for our bridal party. They were very responsive throughout the time of hire. Although it wasn't what we had anticipated originally we were able to bring a large speaker and it ended up working out and everyone had a nice time on it. The guest shuttle was perfect - made all the routes that we needed and stops. Both drivers were excellent and accommodating - they enhanced the experience.

We had the 18 pass limo bus. It was nice on the inside and plenty of room for my wedding party to get around in. They were on time for pickup. My only complaint was that the driver didn't exactly know where he was going even though we provided them with addresses and location names - my husband had to sit at the front of the bus and direct the driver for parts of the service which didn't allow him to party with the rest of us. I did have the change the times I wanted them for 2 days before the big day and they were very accommodating with that. We got married in St. Joesph, Mi and this company is out of Grand Rapids - still cheaper than other companies in the St. Joes/Benton Harbor area even with travel fees. Also, they have a huge selection of vehicles. Consider booking early if you want something specific from their fleet.

They did a nice job, very, very, very inexpensive, and drove us around to a few different places to take pictures, which was nice. It was difficult to get going with such a huge limo in downtown where there wasn't much room. We had lots of fun and appreciated how cheap it was.

Great bus but the driver wasn't the most pleasant

The back seat in the bus wasn't attached so my husband and I kept sliding off. The driver was kind of rude. Otherwise was a great experience.

Overall I was happy with our service and the 26 passenger party bus that we rented. The driver was professional and friendly, the bus was clean, and everything was all set to go and on time. One thing I was a bit dissatisfied with was one of their office staff - she was a bit short and rude on the phone - but otherwise no issues.

On our wedding day our party bus was 35 minutes late but they did call to say they were going to be late, they had a problem with the driver not showing up. We realize these things happen but unfortunately that seemed to really set our whole day back. We rented the bus to take everyone involved in the wedding for pictures prior to the ceremony and so that time was really precious. As far as professionalism they did a good job and the bus was clean.

The vehicles were beautiful, well kept and clean. A lot of limo companies really let their vehicles fall apart or look tacky and outdated. We used affordable for my bachelorette party, transportation for myself and my girls from my bridal suite to the ceremony location and a party bus after the ceremony. The only driver we didn't have an issue with was the lady who drove us from the bridal suite and that was our shortest trip :( On the night of my bachelorette party we got hit by a taxi, which was a freak thing but we had to sit in the limo on the side of the road for an hour and wait for the police in which time we were not allowed to leave the limo. Some people had to walk home just so they could use the bathroom. So while that wasn't his fault it really sucked and we didn't get home until 3am. The worst driver was the lady who was driving our party bus. We had rented this to take us bar hopping and location hopping for pictures. She had no knowledge where anything in the city was!? How can you be a limo driver and not know where anything is? A groomsmen had to sit near the front and give her directions the whole time. These were main attractions like the Art Museum. Also, at one point she ran a yellow light which resulted us almost getting hit by a truck. Yikes! The company is flexible, has many vehicles, all which are nice. I would recommend just ask questions about your drivers before hand.

Great limo, but miscommunication during our wedding day pretty much docked them a couple of stars on this review. Also having to navigate our driver on where to go in Muskegon for our post ceremony pictures wasn't a fun thing to do, but at least we were glad to be able to spend time with our wedding party, our parents and our photographer and videographers for the limo ride.

Affordable Limousine arrived on time with a clean limo, even on a winter afternoon. The driver was polite and professional. He took the entire wedding party downtown GR for pictures. The cost was good compared with others limo companies we called. However, many of the people in the limo reported that the champagne glasses were dirty, with leftover drink in the bottom and "lip prints". They had to wipe them out to use them. We did complain and did recieve a $40 refund. I don't think that was sufficient considering that they would have charged us $100 for "abnormal cleanup".

Booking my limo with affordable limousine and party bus was very easy and simple. The limo showed up on time and was able to get us from point A to point B. My case was a little different since I needed the Limo for long distance transport and they made it affordable to use them all day. The limo was clean and everything they promised was there for us to use. However, the place they are lacking is that their driver did not know directions and got lost a few times. After he took us to take our pictures he said he had to go get gas and then on his way back to pick us up he got lost and we were unable to locate him and it made us late for the ceremony. I was very very upset but I figured for the price we paid we got a good deal.

showed up late-but their customer service made it right

Our trolley showed up 15 minutes late. Then got lost on the college campus I had given the exact address to. I had hoped they would be more prepared direction wise. Unfortunately, this mishap did put us behind on our timeline. However, I will say the trolley was well kept and obviously clean and our wedding party seemed to enjoy it. I do think our experience wasn't usual for the company, as they are seen by many as reputable and reliable. But maybe when booking do a 15 minute buffer time.

*I wanted to edit this review after speaking with Jim at Affordable Limo about our experience. He was very gracious in listening to my concerns and making it right. I appreciate that very much, as you can tell they do actually care about their customers and their experience. Wonderful customer service goes a long way for me--Thank you Jim! I would use them again just based on the customer service and by the looks of it that our experience was not usual for their company.

To be honest, I am not entirely satisfied with the service we got from this vendor. I will give credit where credit is due - they arrived on time, the driver was dressed professionally and had good manners and tried to help out throughout the day - whether holding umbrellas for us or opening doors. Two points of dissatisfaction were: a) we were told there would be champagne in the limo only to find out later from the driver that they are not licensed. Wondering why we were told something that wasn't the case... b). the driver, although his tips were already included in the booking price, demanded more and awkwardly hung around our chapel where we were getting married and not leaving until he got more money. Needless to say that was unprofessional and uncalled for, since everyone had no wallets being dressed in their tuxes and dresses and we had to scramble around to find money just to have him leave.... In general, it was not bad but left much to be desired.

To start I just want to say that the Limo DRIVER was good. He was very professional and flexible with our schedule and very easy to communicate with. However, the limo was a piece of crap. Yes this service is one of the least expensive we could find in the area, but it was not worth the price. We did not have working AC, and although it was a nice 70 degree day, the guys were in tux's and the girls in dresses, so it was hot. We were willing to be flexible and open windows, but only one window worked in the whole limo. Also, the radio was bad. Everytime he came to a stop it would just stop playing until we got going again. My mom called and complained, and we did get somewhat of a refund, but I would have liked them to tell me straight up what their limo was like. It was very unprofessional not to inform us of these problems before they happened. I would NOT recommend this service, even if you are looking for a good price, because it is not a good deal.

Made us late for our ceremony

The guy that drove us to our venue actually made us late to our own wedding. We were supposed to be at the venue at a certain time, and the driver just kept driving around to kill time. After we even asked him if he could start heading to the venue, he didn't. He also didn't know where to drop us off, so we had to race and run through the long entrance. I will never recommend these people to anyone.

We booked a trolley for our hotel guests to the venue and a town car for the bride and groom. I had some issues with the service from this company which left me a bit disappointed.
1.) The quotes and confirmations we received did not include the trolley pick up and drop off schedules. I had to ask multiple times and often they did not include it. My planner and I came up with a schedule and provided it to them. I wanted them to confirm the schedule but for some reason it was difficult for them to do this. I was providing this schedule to guests on printed materials and wanted to make sure we were all on the same page but they seemed to struggle with this request for reasons I'm not sure. I also wished they would have worked with me to come up with a schedule a bit more.
2.) The day of the wedding I was picked up by a carto take me to the venue. The driver said he was from a different company, which made me feel awkward since he was picking me up from my home and I was riding alone for a 20-minute drive with a guy who wasn't representing Affordable Limousine. He also gave me his own card when I exited the vehicle. If Affordable Limousine outsourced my contract they should either notify me of this or make sure their contractors represents them when working for them. Really unprofessional and uncomfortable for me.
3.) The day of the wedding we had booked the trolley to stay till after the wedding service since it was providing trips from the barn reception site to the wooded wedding site (1/4 mile away) and we were going to do some photos with the trolley. The driver told my planner that they made an error and double booked and couldn't stay the hour after our ceremony. Our ceremony site photos were rushed (because I needed a ride back to the reception site) and we didn't get any photos with the trolley. The company gave me $100 back however I didn't want my money back, I wanted the to honor our agreed contract.

Had the worst experience with this vendor and it all started from the first phone call. I was told that tip was included in the quote, but then a few weeks later someone informed me that the drivers pay was included but not the tip, and the pay just so happened to be 20%.

Day of service... It gets to be 10 minutes before scheduled pickup and I hadn't heard from the driver at all... OK, fine, no problem, so I give him a buzz just to make sure we're still on schedule and everything is set. He answers and tells me that he's running late. Wow, I'm glad I called. (you'd think it'd be the other way around, that they would call.) Prior to all of this, I had called dispatch about a week earlier informing them how crucial it is that service start on time because if it doesn't, then our entire wedding day will be affected and everything will have to get pushed back. So since the driver was late, everything else started late, and messed up our wedding big time.

Anyway, driver finally shows up and takes a trip of passengers for us. great, then he takes another trip. awesome! but then he sits and waits and REFUSES to do service until we pay him. Alright, fine, I understand payment is due day of, but no one every told us the driver would be rude and unaccommodating. This pushed our schedule back even farther. Oh, and we gave the driver a specific order of stops and he somehow managed to mess that up too.

Long story short... Affordable Limo staff and drivers were rude and unaccommodating. They showed up late and messed up the timing and flow of our entire day. We picked Affordable Limo because their rates were competitive, but you pay for what you get. Low prices will get you crappy service. I highly recommend you not use Affordable Limo for your wedding. They might come in handy for unimportant events however.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! They provided horrible service on my wedding day. I was very frustrated with the driver who arrived late to pick up the wedding party and could not drive the limo. The rides to and from locations were bumpy and they did not know their way around. The driver argued with me as to when we were to arrive to the reception place-arguing with the bride! Totally unacceptable. DO NOT put any of your time or money into this company.

The driver showed up on time after our wedding ceremony at the church, however he had no idea what he was to do for us. We had a contract that showed he was to drive us around downtown Grand Rapids for wedding pictures. It was a hot, sunny day and he did not have the air conditioning on. We had to ask for him to turn is on and then to turn it up because it did not work very well. When we contracted the limo bus, we were told to have any drinks, etc., delivered to their location ahead of time so that the drinks could be chilled and ready when the wedding party was picked up. The groom took time out of his extremely busy wedding week to deliver the drinks from his home in Rockford to the Grandville location to have COLD drinks as told. The drinks were not even cool and there is nothing worse than WARM beer!
Needless to say, no one was very happy!
I called Heather three times at Affordable Limousine and was promised that she would express our concerns to "Justin" the manager and that he would call me back in a timely fashion. The first call to Heather was on July 16, 2013. Two calls have been place since then and it is now a month later with NO response. Affordable Limousine is very prompt about sending promotional emails to advertise their specials and they insist on payment in advance, however, if you have any problems at all, do not expect them to ever call you again! This is a very unprofessional way to do business and I would recommend staying away from this company!!
