Solo Cello - Perfect!

We had a great experience using Affordable Elegance for our wedding! Marshunda was great to work with to coordinate everything, and Shannon, our cellist the day of, did an amazing job. The cello music was one of my favorite parts of the wedding! Highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible experience

They made walking down the aisle magical and everyone enjoyed listening to them during cocktail hour. I received many compliments afterwards, One of the best decisions I made for our wedding and worth every penny.

Affordable Elegance was extremely professional and easy to work with and they did a beautiful job playing at my wedding’s ceremony. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a string trio in the area!

Great experience!

The ensemble was kind, professional, and able to perform with very little direction. It was clear they are very experienced! Having recognizable songs played before and after the ceremony made it fun, and added such a touch of elegance. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Music

The music was beautiful and easy to book overall. I didn’t interact with the musicians really even though I tried to smile and say hi. Not really a big deal though.

Perfection!

Marshunda, who coordinated our contract and set everything up with our Cellist, Shannon was fanstastic to work with - they both were! Affordable Elegance is the way to go if you're looking for a Cellist, Violinist or even a string trio. We are out of state in CT, and Marshunda made the planning process very easy using email. Shannon did a great job and it was a huge hit at our wedding. The music was just perfect.

Pefect for a weddnig ceremony

We are so lucky we were able to have the trio from Affordable Elegance perform at our wedding! They sounded terrific and it set the perfect tone for the reception and cocktail hour. They even learned a song for my wife's processional that wasn’t already part of their repertoire which was great. We're so glad they were a part our wedding!

Exactly what we were looking for!

We hired Affordable Elegance as a string trio to play for 2 hours... as our guests arrived, for our ceremony and for our cocktail reception. They were a pleasure to work with up front, made song selection very easy and then expertly and so pleasantly played a wonderful mixture of old and new.. I had many guest compliments. I felt their price was fair and their contribution to our event... elegant... they lived up to their name! Thank you!

Marshunda and Aaron came and played at our wedding on September 8th. The music was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as we had planned. Marshunda was very responsive in the planning process and answered all my questions very timely. We had compliments all night about the beautiful music at our ceremony. Thank you both so very much!

Perfect for our ceremony and cocktail hour! The music selection was great and we went with contemporary songs for the ceremony. One of the songs was a Beatles song and my dad picked up on it right away. The songs were clear, the music was great, and the sound was awesome! I am very happy that we had a string trio!

Affordable Elegance did an amazing job with our ceremony and cocktail hour music! We had so many guests comment on how much they enjoyed their music during the cocktail hour. Marshunda was very quick to respond to emails, and was accommodating when we asked if they could play hymns (and then when we later said that we actually wouldn't need hymns played). She was also very accommodating regarding specific requests that our church had, such as arriving very early, and also worked around an island ferry schedule. All in all, Affordable Elegance was just that- very affordable elegance! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Affordable Elegance did an amazing job at our wedding. I did the string trio and it sounded amazing! They had lots of music to choose from, both classical and modern. They were also very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend them!

We had so many compliments on the string trio at our wedding. They performed at the ceremony and during cocktail hour and our guests loved that their repitoire. Having them at your wedding is a must and a decision you will be glad you made!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Marshunda, Kathy and the rest of the team for my surprise proposal. Both my fiance and I were so impressed with not only the level of talent, but the level of professionalism that Affordable Elegance provided. I will DEFINITELY be booking them for our wedding! Affordable Elegance was great to work with, super accommodating and they did a wonderful job with the music. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. It was such a lovely part of the ceremony, I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out.

Affordable string elegance did a wonderful job for our farm wedding last September. I asked them to play a song that wasn't listed on their suggestion sheet and they were happy to play it for us! We also booked them early enough to get our cocktail hour for free which was a great bonus. Highly recommend Affordable String Elegance for any wedding!

Affordable Elegance is just that...affordable and elegant. The music for the ceremony and the cocktail hour at my daughter's wedding was superb.....the choice of music was perfect and the sound was classic elegance. They were responsive to any and all of my inquiries and were reliable. It is important for a couple planning a wedding, to have vendors that are reliable and communicative, and Marshunda at Affordable Elegance was both. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for string musicians to enhance a special occasion.

Ms. Smith was very friendly and professional at all times durning our wedding and the planning stages. My wedding was two years ago and my guests are still talking about the lovely music that played. I wish I could get married every month just to hear them play. They were wonderful!! Book Affordable Elegance for your special day and you will not regret it!

I would highly recommend Affordable Elegance. The trio performed during our outdoor ceremony and did a lovely job, and Marshunda was wonderful to work with - pleasant, friendly, and responsive.

We had a single violinist play for our wedding and it was beautiful! It made the day all the more special and really completed my wedding vision. It was a really windy day and the umbrella he was playing under kept blowing away but he didn't miss a single beat, he was amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend Affordable Elegance.

An ensemble from Affordable Elegance (cello and violin) performed during our wedding ceremony last year and they were outstanding. They traveled over an hour to play at our wedding in a little chapel by the sea. They had never been to our venue before, but they played beautifully and created an absolutely lovely setting. We were extremely impressed by their professionalism and responsiveness. They even learned an additional requested choral piece that was not on their standard list of songs. Marshunda is a true pleasure to work with!

My wedding ceremony music was beautiful, the violinists were a huge hit! I remember walking down the aisle and feeling like I stepped into a fairy tale. If you're on the fence about hiring affordable elegance, got for it! You will note egret it!

Marshunda and her team are awesome- the trio played at our ceremony at the Portland Company - The Lumineers "Ho Hey" as my bridal party entered, The Beatles "In My Life" as I walked down the aisle with my dad, and "Home" by Edward Sharpe as my husband and I exited. So much fun and added a fun and special element to the ceremony. While I never actually met Marshunda in person (wedding day was a little crazy) I didn't need to worry about a thing with them- they set up, played, and exited- super professional and efficient. The price point is high for a brief amount of time, but it made our day memorable as I'm sure it did our guests as they attended the ceremony :)

Very responsive and easy to work with. Marshunda was always professional and gave clear instructions on her needs as well for the day of the wedding and was willing to be flexible if asked. Working with Marshunda was a great experience!!

We communicated completely by email. They were easy to work with although had some chair requirements (no arms, and cannot be in direct sunlight) that caused some challenges. They were an affordable easy to book option and I'd reccomens them. We had them pick the music so did not customize or ask for specific pieces to be played so I can't speak to that.
