The servicing & bar staff was amazing.

Amazing Food
Carlos and Doug did an amazing job at setting up and serving. They both worked so hard and were so friendly with the guests. My, person of contact, Eric was not as friendly or helpful. He made me feel that I did not spend enough money for him to even take the time to introduce himself to us. we almost went to another caterer because of him. Glad we didn't, the food was over the top. I cannot say enough about how Carlos and Robert took care of everything and everyone!!

Amazing service!
Affordable catering catered my wedding this past Saturday. They are truly the best around, the service and food was nothing short of amazing. My guests raved about the food all night. From the start of planning to the very end they made it so easy to plan. I didn’t have to stress about anything. They are so helpful with last minute questions, changes and accommodations. Our wedding food was better than we could have hoped for! We wanted a Latin inspired menu and Affordable Catering was able to accommodate our request. Our guests raved about how amazing the food tasted. And they lived up to their name by providing a super affordable meal and liquor package within our budget. The bartenders and servers were super professional and efficient. Additionally, Maria helped us customize our menu and responded to all our questions in a timely manner. I would definitely choose them again for another event.

Professional, all staff are friendly. Their set up was great and on time. We chose blackberry key lime chicken which was fabulous and the Mac m cheese was delicious as well. No complaints really. Choose them for your catering needs in central Florida and you can’t go wrong.

Affordable and Delicious!
We used Affordable Catering for our wedding in November 2020. We chose the “Formal Inclusive Wedding Menu” package, which came with hors d’oeuvres, full meal, silverware, china, linen napkins, table linens, and a day-of coordinator (Tera Marie, we will do a separate review for her, she was great). We also used their bartending service as well. We are very happy with our decision to choose Affordable Catering and their inclusive package. Having a large portion of the reception covered by one company made the coordination very convenient. We worked with Eric from the tasting all the way to the week before the wedding. They were very accommodating with changes that we had to make due to COVID. They were always on top of communication, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The line for the bar did get a little long at some points, so I would recommend asking if they could do a line for cocktails and a line for beer since we had a couple specialty cocktails that took a little while to make. We cannot recommend them enough, you surely cannot beat the price and the personalized service!

If you’re considering working with affordable catering - I would highly recommend them for any event. Prior to the event - they were extremely responsive and had great communication. Maria worked with me when I downsized my wedding and catering needs from 150 people to a 25 person backyard wedding. During the whole process, Maria was amazing with answering all my questions and accommodating multiple changes. The day of the wedding everything flowed smoothly with affordable catering - they arrived on time, were professional, and did an excellent job. The food was delicious - try the stuffed chicken Marsala and the au gratin potatoes. We got multiple compliments from our guests that the food was very tasty. The price was very reasonable as well as we made multiple changes to normal packages to provide a safe environment for our guests due to covid. The bartender also did a great job! I would highly recommend using affordable catering to anyone who asks!

This comment is late and I apologize. Affordable Catering was a phenomenal choice for the Carter Family Wedding Reception! The process was easy and definitely affordable. The three employees that were provided for the reception, on 20 Feb 20, had the up most professional customer service. They were friendly, patient, flexible, cleanliness, and professional attire. The food menu served was delicious and no complaints for the Carter Family and guests. I would definitely recommend Affordable Catering for any type of wedding reception or event.

We had a great experience with Affordable Catering for our wedding! Don't let the name fool you. Although affordable they are very professional and the food is good quality. We chose them because they were the most accommodating with allergen friendly options for my husband and bridesmaid. They both have severe food allergies that can be deadly so I was very nervous about the catering. I was reassured that our food would be safe for them and, thankfully, it was! We had no allergen or cross-contamination issues which was such a relief. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and professional and encouraged everyone to get as much food as they wanted.
If you're looking for a catering service that is friendly, provides good tasting food, is safe for people with allergies, and won't break the bank in the process - this is the company you want!

Exquisite Cuisine For A Memorable Occassion
We had Affordable Catering provide the food for our beachfront wedding on May 20th. The customer service was wonderful, which is rare these days. The food and staff arrived promptly and were very professional and attentive. Since our event was outside during warm weather, we contracted the Black Tie Hordevors, which had an excellent variety of food and delicious. There were some items I did not get a chance to taste, since I was the host and bride, however, I did enjoy the grilled shrimp on the sugar skewers and the crab stuffed mushroom caps. We are from Maryland, and rarely find good crab dishes outside of our state. Our guests were delighted with the food and happy it was not just boring chicken. We even has some leftovers that we nibbled on for a few days. I would highly recommend this company; yummy food and a great value.

The food for our 4/28/19 wedding was absolutely perfect. Stephanie was great to work with and helped us with all the planning from our tasting to the wedding day. We had a buffet with Parmesan crusted chicken, herb crusted pork loin with raspberry glaze, grilled veggies, sour cream dill potatoes, and Caesar salad. All the food was fantastic! My husband and I were planning a destination wedding from Pittsburgh and didn't have the opportunity to taste test food! When we did visit, our scheduled didn't match up with Affordable Catering unfortunately which made me hesitant to book with them. Boy am I glad I did! After great reviews from other vendors I was able to meet with, we decided to work with Affordable Catering! Stephanie was so helpful and was so patient with the changes that I had to make. The food was FANTASTIC and we were so happy with it (including our guests as well!) They were a joy to work with and you won't go wrong if you book them as your caterer!

Outstanding! Highly recommend. Affordable Catering just catered our daughter's outdoor wedding and they were impeccable! The food was delicious. Everyone commented on how engaging and delightful the servers and bartender were. Terra, the event manager ran the operation seamlessly and with a light touch. Absolutely superb! Delicious, Affordable Food
From the get-go, Affordable Catering were a pleasure to work with (we are still getting compliments about the vegetarian lasagna!) They were very communicative and very helpful when we had questions regarding our menu selections.
Their set up is amazing too and (just like their name says) affordable for most wedding budgets! They really exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have been happier with their services.

Affordable and Awesome!
We hired Affordable Catering for our wedding and I highly recommend them! Everyone complimented the food, the Stuffed Chicken Marsala is the best! We also used their day of coordinator and they were a great help setting up our reception area as well as coordinating throughout the reception. Hope was our coordinator and she was awesome! Everyone at Affordable Catering was great with answering my questions and setting up our event. They made our day wonderful and they are definitely affordable!

Awesome Catering Services
We had an awesome experience with Affordable Catering! We didn't have time to taste the food before the wedding, but my husband and I, as well as all of our guests LOVED the food! Their set-up matched our theme and the staff were so friendly during the entire night. At the end of the night, they even boxed up our leftovers for us to enjoy after our wedding!

I absolutely loved working with Affordable Catering! I had the pleasure of working with Hope Harris and Krystle Canan. Every single person I've had any encounters with at Affordable Catering have been wonderful! They have been very friendly and very professional! I really liked that my husband and I were able to do a taste testing before our wedding so we could make our final decision on what dishes we wanted. Let me just tell you that their food is phenomenal! They made it really difficult to make a final decision! :) Hope Harris was our day of coordinator and she knocked it out of the park! Hope beyond exceeded my expectations! She took care of absolutely everything! From making sure vendors showed up on time, to decorating everything for us, and to even helping my girls with their hair and getting dressed for the ceremony. I really will never be able to thank her enough for everything she did for us on the day of our wedding. I would absolutely recommend Affordable Catering to anyone and everyone! I can promise and assure you that you will not be disappointed if you choose them!

Excellent Catering!
We worked with Stephanie at Affordable Catering. She was so helpful and detail oriented. We paid an additional fee for the "day-of coordinator" services - and this is SO worth the money. As the day-of coordinator, she made sure that our day was perfect! They set up our linens and place settings just the way I wanted. She made sure that we were fed by plating our apps and dinner (this was super helpful) and she was attentive in every way. They set up our buffet out on the deck and released tables to the buffet. The buffet was decorated in coordination with out theme, which I wasn't even expecting - it was beautiful! Oh, and the food was delicious - We had many compliments about the food! Highly recommend Affordable Catering!

From the tasting until the day of the wedding it was extremely easy working with affordable catering. They were very responsive to all my questions and concerns before the wedding and were very professional the day of. They even go as far as to match your colors and provide some type of decor to spruce up the buffet tables. For myself and husband, they made our plates and brought them to us during the reception, rather than having to go up to the buffet ourselves, which I thought was above and beyond. The food tasted great and even received many compliments from friends and family. Highly recommend!

My wedding was on a Sunday on the beach at Siesta Key, every other caterer i contacted had issues and extras and fees and they were just over the top with pricing and choices, it was making me nuts, and as a bride to be there's so much to do without adding anyone else's insanity!. I saw the ad for Affordable catering and decided to call. Alexa was my contact and from the second she picked up the phone the arranging went smoothly. When I said I was on the beach, on a Sunday, she didn't even skip a beat. When I asked for options, she sent them without a second thought. I had to use all beach friendly settings - NO PROBLEM :) I gave them the venue and they went to town. All of my guests were amazed and I myself was completely impressed by everything - the food was absolutely delicious, the set up was perfect! Robert, their banquet manager, was friendly, professional, extremely helpful and, let me tell you, he made a slightly nervous bride feel very calm, even down to setting up both alcoholic and non-alcoholic toasting flutes. He can pop a champagne cork with the best of them! I can't say enough about how this company enhanced an already magnificent day. PS, I live in Sarasota and used them (blind) because of their ratings and referrals, I recommend them 1000% trust me, hire them and forget this part of the planning, you're in excellent hands. i will add photos when I get them back!

I was nervous about using a caterer because I’m pretty picky about food. But I became pleasantly surprised at the ease of setting up our party, the excellent service, and the best thing was that I heard no complaints about the food. The icing on the cake was that this was the most inexpensive caterer I could find to do our event.

She made the experience an enjoyable one. Jeremy worked our wedding and the buffet table was set up beautifully. They ensured that the table matched the theme of our wedding and there was so much food for the price that we paid. Jeremy was a blessing. He definitely went above and beyond. I had my wedding on May 5th, 2018. The reception I had catered was for a intimate group. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable. I have never tasted wedding food so delicious. It is always the small details that matter most with our reception the presentation was beautiful. The serving portions were more than abundant. Affordable catering was very affordable compared to other catering companies as the name suggests but they are so much more! We booked them for wedding planning, Stephanie and Alexis are very responsive and worked well with other vendors! Not to mention the food was amazing! I'm a food snob but the bourbon salmon and potatoes was a major hit with my guests and myself! People are still talking about the food 2 weeks later! So happy we chose to go with them and will be booking again for all other events!

They're large selection made it easy to pick exactly what we wanted for our special day. All of the food was perfect and all of my guests raved about it. We had a DIY wedding on a family farm and although I was nervous that it would be difficult to have food catered in a large field, Affordable catering took care of everything without any issues. They were all extremely nice and made sure, myself, my husband and all of my guests were taken care of. We're so incredibly thankful for them!

She was very attentive to my questions and requests. She continued to keep communication open from the time we contacted Affordable Catering, up until our ceremony on August 27, 2017. Nick was our server on the date of our event. The outstanding service continued as he was very punctual, polite and prepared every step of the way. I was so impressed with the quality of food and professionalism of Affordable Catering for my wedding on July 27, 2017. I loved all of the options and the flexibility of being able to make the menu the way I wanted for cocktail hour and the reception. My family and friends have not stopped talking about how delicious the food was and the amount of food that was available. My family and friends loved the special treats that I included; such as the ice cream bar! I mean who has an ice cream bar at their wedding? I did thanks to Affordable Catering!!! The wait staff was extremely professional during the reception and even provided food to the bridal party while getting ready and even during pictures/cocktail hour!!!!! Last night, you guys catered my granddaughter's Sweet Sixteen party and it was wonderful! Debbie and her partner (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) were wonderful, not only very professional but also so personable, sweet, and helpful. They handled everything as smooth as silk, from setup to serving to cake and sundae bar. The buffet was gorgeous and the food was delicious! Alexa was so easy to work with and made us feel totally at ease that we were in good hands from the moment we met with her. I don't know when we'll have occasion to cater another event, but I can assure you that my go-to caterer will always be Affordable Catering! You guys are the best!

Affordable Catering was the most responsive of all the vendors we contacted. Alexa was very helpful with answering questions by email promptly and didn't mind repeating things for me. We selected one of the packages, but were able to tweak it as we liked. We had a buffet with top sirloin roast (moist) and stuffed chicken marsala (delicious) and we loved the hot crab dip! Service was perfect thanks to Vinnett, Elba, Loc and Christina.

Planning a wedding 12 hours away could potentially be stressful, however this company made it so easy. I worked with Sandra on all of the planning. Through every step of the process she was accommodating and helpful. She always answered questions very promptly, provided plenty of suggestions, and kept us within our budget. The food was amazing....Everyone talked about it all night!!! The themed décor made it beautiful, and the two staff members/servers were wonderful. I used Affordable Catering for a brunch wedding. I was able to do a free tasting and meet with the manager (Stephanie) to talk in more detail about my event. She had excellent communication with me during the planning phases and was always very prompt in her responses. The two staff members who worked my event (Jackie and Christina) were phenomenal-they went above and beyond for me, my husband, and guests. Our food was delicious and our guests went up for seconds/thirds. We had initially reached out to Affordable Catering based on the reviews we read and I couldn't be happier with our experience. They did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this catering company!

I worked with Stephanie, and I contracted her to be my day-of-coordinator. I cannot stress how much of a help she was. She did everything as instructed and was by my side most of the night asking if I needed anything and letting me know what part of the agenda was next. She was so professional and her colleagues who helped with setup and breakdown did an incredible job. The company in general has a variety of services to meet your budget. I met with them twice, so that really established the trust and relationship between bride and vendor. Would definitely recommend them!

Don't be fooled by their name because this caterer will blow your mind away! Stephanie Johnson was excellent in the pre planning process. She took note of the chicken Marsala taste (more salt) and the result of all of our planning really showed the day of our wedding! The appetizers were great and food was delicious! Our server Nick was a sweetheart and even packed leftovers and the top tier of our cake for us! Thank you Affordable Catering!

Affordable catering was wonderful! We had many complements on the food and decor. Even better than the food, we had Stephanie working with us as our day of coordinator. She was so incredible at making sure everything was on track, and putting up all our decor. I am so incredibly happy with our choice and could not say enough great things about them.

Affordable Catering did an amazing job catering our wedding on 10/22/2016. I worked with Sandra who was a pleasure to work with. The food was so delicious our family members are still talking about it over a week later lol. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The presentation was also beautiful. I loved that they decorated the buffet table and drink station to match our wedding décor/colors. It looked beautiful. Affordable catering is highly recommended! Thank you so much for helping make our wedding unforgettable :)

If you are looking for a caterer for your event look no further. Affordable Catering was simply amazing. I planned a Prenuptial Party at a beach house for about 100 people. Sandra helped me work thru the menu and so was wonderful and kind to work with. They arrived on time and had everything setup and ready for our guests. The food was hot, delicious, and every guest just raved about the food....saying it was the best they ever had. Robert and Vanette were so gracious and took care of each and everyone of our guests.
A huge thank you to Affordable Catering for making the wedding prenuptial party a very memorable evening!

I could not say anything but wonderful things about Affordable Catering and Stephanie! I started this journey with Lia and she was wonderful as well, when Stephanie took over at the very end I did not know what to expect. She always went above and beyond to make sure my expectations were exceeded. From the food and linens down to bringing me water when we were dancing the night away! She kept everything flowing smoothly and thanks to her I had nothing to worry about! I highly recommend Affordable Catering and Stephanie! Thank you for making my day the best day ever!!!

From the start of planning to the day of the wedding, they were amazing! Lia was so patient throughout all my many changes and Sandra made sure everything was in order on our day. Lia and the Entire staff were both professional promt and very quick and spot on with everything. We looked at over 9 vendors and came to feel most comfortable and found them to be non judgemental. Everyone was excited and seemed happy to be there and made our guest feel welcome and we heard NOTHING BUT POSITIVE FEED BACK FROM GUEST. A few of my Guest tried to get the staff to dance a little and have some fun. Until we told them that they were welcome to enjoy themselves eat cake dance what ever they held THIER professional places. And I even said to them Yoyr on my bill so enjoy. They were do polite and wonderful. I would and will use them again in the future.
The big thing was that the FOOD WAS HOT AND NOT ROOM TEMP. Loved the cold cheese on a hot day. And just would recommend them for ANYTHING YOU WANT A CATERER FOR. Ask for Lia and tell her KEVIN AND BRUCE SUGGESTED HER!

Affordable Catering work with us for our Renewal of Vows. Since the first day I called they were very proffesional and extremely friendly. My day was more than special with the way they did the set up. Everything look perfect! The food was excellent! All my guest were very satisfied with the food! They catered our wedding reception on June 11th, 2016. I had gone to a bridal show where I sampled some food and fell in love with the crab dip (And I do not like crab at all).
Lia was wonderful and always quick to respond to emails, any changes I wanted to do to the menu. Our appetizers of the crab dip, chicken egg rolls and pineapple wrapped bacon were so flavorful! We did a buffet which included herb loin roast, blackberry key lime chicken and pecan crusted mahi mahi. The roast was so juicy, the fish amazing, the piece of chicken I got was just past juicy/getting to dry but still none the less tasted amazing! I heard compliments about the food all night and some people even just went up again just to get the potatoes :-) The buffet was also beautifully set up and matched the decor.
I want to keep going to the monthly tastings just for the food but I think I may get booted lol :-)
The staff was prompt, always smiling and interacting with guests and myself. They were wonderful!! I can not thank them enough for always keeping the food going during cocktail hour, never had to search for anyone.
For the price and quality, nothing beat them. I would definitely hire them again

Affordable Catering did an amazing job for my wedding! I’ve never had to use a caterer before so I had no idea about anything. Stephanie was so helpful and answered all my questions (and there were multiple calls) and dealt with all of my changes so friendly and professionally! Not only did my husband and I think the food was great but all of our guests raved about the food as well! The staff was so friendly and personable also! I was very happy with the services they provided and highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future if I have a need arise!

We used Affordable Catering for our grooms dinner service for 45 people. The service was excellent and the servers were very courteous! The food was excellent.! The set up was very professionally done. Rave reviews by all attendees. Would highly recommend them for any occasion!

I am soooo glad we picked Affordable Catering for our special day! They were flawless! The food was amazing and all of our guests commented on how good it was. We even went to another wedding a month after ours that Affordable catered and the food was just as good as I remembered! Stephanie was such a big help as well as our day of coordinator. Their staff even dealt with a linen issue with a linen company so that it was one less thing I had to worry about. I could not say enough good things about this company! Hands down, our favorite vendor of our wedding day!! P.s. Crab dip and bacon wrapped pineapple is where it's at!!!!
