I went through Affairs to remember for MY Wedding on JUNE 24 ,2018 . I had a last minute mishap with needing to order extra things , They took all the stress away . The response time is great and make you feel like you are there only client with handling your BIG DAY ! My Chavari Chairs were nice and sturdy

This company was wonderful to work with. I won a gift certificate at the Novi Bridal Expo for 100 free chair covers, but I had my heart set on chiavari chairs. This company was more then happy to put the amount that the chair covers would cost toward chiavary chairs for me! They were also super helpful and the nicest people to talk to both on the phone and in person. Thank you guys again for helping to make our wedding wonderful!

Iva was exceptional! From the moment we walked into her store, she made us feel like she cared about our wedding as much as we did. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. We changed our order 3 months after we placed it and she updated everything and sent a new contract, which showed the changes, out right away.

Also - we really lucked out because Affairs to Remember was able to come set up our venue with our chairs and linens the day BEFORE our event (keep in mind this might not always be possible, if they are rented) but it made planning and setting up SO MUCH EASIER. I was very thankful that they were willing to do that. I don't think a lot of places would be quite as accommodating. Also there was a little confusion setting up the venue, as I wasn't there when the Affairs team was, but Iva called me personally to make sure that everything was correct with my order. I really appreciated that.

The stock of linen colors, prints, fabrics is huge. We were able to take our centerpiece into the shop and Iva helped us mess around with linens and napkins, which allowed us to see how everything would look from the first day! It was great. And the prices seemed unbeatable. Cheapest, high quality chiavari chairs we could find in the Metro Detroit area. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! From personal attention by the owner to communication to set up and pick up.
We were looking for something different from traditional white chairs and white table cloths. We had our vision of burlap linens and brown chairs that we had seen on Pinterest and after some Internet searching discovered affairs to remember had exactly what we were looking for.
Thank you for making everything so easy and the pricing was very fair. Affairs to Remember participated in making a once-in-a-lifetime event a smash success.

Iva, and her daughter Rachel were so patient, helpful and prompt with their service. I had soemthing completely different in mind, and they helped me pick out exactly what I invisioned! The linens were absolutely stunning and perfect. Everyone loved them. The prices are affordable and we'll worth every penny I spent. Thank you for making my wedding beautiful

We went to our first consultation with one thing on our mind and left with an entirely different set up. Iva is amazing at what she does!! this family owned business is rocking and rolling! She even help my fiance complete the look of her bridesmaids. It really makes things easy when your working with someone who's been in the business for a while. they have every color you can think of along with any texture.

Iva is the best! From the moment we stepped into her showroom we knew we had found the person we wanted to work with for our daughter's wedding. Iva used her experience to help our daughter and us plan the perfect wedding. She guided us and answered all our questions, helping to make our daughters wedding perfect. Our chivary chairs were gorgeous! They made the look of our wedding come together so nicely. Affairs was super helpful since they had to unsheeth and tie on cushions themselves. This was definitely worth the money since they did the set up and tear down AND it looked beautiful. I would definitely say to do this instead of renting chair covers and bows because that looks tacky and you have to do it yourself.

All I can say is wow. What a great value, the linens Iva offers are exquisite and having had our wedding I couldn't imagine ever having gone with anyone else. The napkins and chaircovers accented the room beautifully! Thank you so much Iva! Job well done!

We LOVED everything about Affairs to Remember for our daughter and new son-in-law's wedding. Iva is so easy to work with, and as a certified wedding planner, she is also able to offer a great deal of practical advice for making your event run smoothly.
We did the chiavari chair and linen package along with sheer overlay table cloths, extra bar height tables and rhinestone brooches on the napkins. Our guests absolutely raved about the linens saying they had never seen anything more unique or beautiful and many of them took pictures of the tables to help them remember the look we had achieved.
The chiavari chairs are surprisingly sturdy ( we had a few very large quests) and the linens arrived super clean and wrinkle free. My husband and I were at the venue the day of set up and we were impressed with the fact that each chair arrived in its own cover (no scratches or dust).
We shave already recommended Affairs to Remember to several people and I know they will love using this company as much as we did. Your event will definitely stand out if you use this company.

We worked with Ida on our linens. I had a family member pick out linens and place the order, and unfortunately they signed the contract having ordered far too many seats. When it came time to pay, that person passed the buck to us. Ida worked with us to lower the number (within contract limits) and was very kind to us. It all ended up working out and the linens were beautiful. They came and set up and took them away for us, so we didn't have to do anything past ordering and paying. Great service!

Iva was so amazing to work with! She had the most beautiful and unique linens that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Everyone at our wedding loved our ivory floral applique overlays, and I had so many guests ask where we got them from. It totally enhanced the look of our ballroom! The quality of all the linens and napkins was top notch. I'm so glad we found Iva. She was so honest and even helped me find ways to make everything more cost effective. She even gave me advice on how to improve the decor for our ballroom! Her team is very professional and our wedding events coordinator at our venue was very impressed by them. I told everyone about Affairs to Remember because they are so great!

Personally, I have used Affairs to Remember for all three of my children's wedding. I believe this alone speaks volumes. ATR has the best service and quality products in the industry. I know this personally because I am in the industry and have worked with other linen companies as well. SoI speak both personally and professionally when I say I truly believe Affairs to Remember is the best company to use for your special event. A true pleasure to work with!!

Iva was very helpful and professional. She stepped in when another one of my vendors couldn't provide chair cover service. I was able to describe what I wanted over the phone and she pulled through beautifully for me. She coordinated with my vendor so I didn't have to worry about anything!

We rented chair covers and table runners from Affairs to Remember. They have colors that match David's Bridal color splotches EXACTLY! In fact, that is what I was told they model their color scheme after, which made it extremely convenient to coordinate colors with my bridesmaids' dresses. They were not the least expensive vendor out there, but they did a great job and everything looked wonderful -- no complaints!

OUTSTANDING!!! From the prices to the service, to the linens themselves, you cannot beat ATR! Iva is very flexible and kept longer office hours so I could come after work. She had the linens set up on schedule on our wedding day and taken down without hassle that evening. I highly reccommend Iva and Affairs to Remember!!!

This was the only place in town I could find what I was looking for and the end product was perfect. Great customer service - the owner is absolutely committed to customer satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use Affairs to Remember again and have already made a personal recommendation to a guest at my event who was also impressed and interested.

Evening was beautiful and the linens/chairs made a huge impact on that. They do a remarkable job but don't plan on changing your mind on what you choose. The contract is a contract and they will stick to it.

Affairs to Remember was recommended to me by our venue coordinator, as they have chiavari chairs that are stronger than standard, which was important because we had a few larger guests at our wedding. The chairs and linens were beautiful.
My matron of honor was kind enough to pay for our linens and chairs, so I was not as involved with this particular vendor as I was with some others, but I obviously knew a fair amount and was kept in the loop. We ended up having a significantly smaller wedding than we’d planned/thought, which we did not know at the time my MOH signed the contract with Affairs. She gave them an estimate count when she signed the contract, and a firmer count two weeks out, which she thought relieved her of at least some of the extraneous chairs, but promptly found out that she was stuck with the original count, minus a small deduction. While we understood that once chairs are “booked” in a company’s inventory, they can’t be rented out to others, I was slightly disappointed that even a slight further reduction could not be made, as they were given a final count two weeks out, which was when all our other final counts were due. We ended up using the chairs for cocktail hour and scattering some around the room, and it worked out fine, but it was still somewhat frustrating.

PLEASE READ if you care about the safety of your belongings. I decided to go with Affairs to Remember because of the professionalism and overall experience of the tasting. We hired them for my wedding at Little River Farms. The food tasted great and the presentation was wonderful as well. They were willing to work with me to change my menu till the month of the wedding and Cameron was also good with his communication throughout the entire process. Another main reason why I chose ATR was because they are “green” caterers and they give back to the community. I only had good things to say for ATR until the end of the wedding when we got back to our hotel room. A bridesmaid told me to check my wallet because all the cash in her wallet went missing. To make this story short, there was a total of roughly $3000 worth of belongings and cash missing. I immediately called Little River Farms and told them about our missing items. In the end, we were blaming the LRF team and ATR because those were the only two vendors around the venue while the rooms were not occupied. The venue did not have locked doors where the bridal suite and mancave were. Staff was able to go in and out of the area the entire day. I did not think twice that something like this would happen. There are cameras at LRF, but we found out that they are not on during events. It was the worst way to end the most perfect wedding day. Cameron was just as shocked and baffled as much as I was, but he did not readily have a list of the employees that he hired for my wedding. The staff did not consist of people that only worked at ATR. There were some staff members that they’ve used for the first time at my wedding. There were suspects that were found that belonged to one of the vendors, but there was no proof to further the investigation. If you decide to choose ATR, I would ask to have a list of staff members that have been with the company, not first time hires. There was no compensation or formal apology.
