The absolute best entertainment for your next event!
If you’re looking for a DJ for your next wedding or event, look no further! Jake from A2R Entertainment was the best wedding DJ we could’ve asked for! His personality overall made the planning process super easy and fun. He’s also very experienced and knows his stuff. He genuinely cares and will make sure your party is as fun as it could be on your terms. He has perfect timing, great with lighting and special effects, plays for all comfort levels and ages, and adds a personal touch while interacting with the crowd on the mic. If you want entertainment that feels less like a service and more like a warm environment, he’s your guy! Jake made our wedding reception absolutely perfect and gave us memories to last a lifetime! -

Simply put, Jake will make your wedding and reception everything you could possibly hope for. Jake of all Trades
I have had the privilege of knowing Jake for 35 years, so when it came time to choose an officiant for out wedding, I knew there was no one better suited for the job. (We even scheduled around his availability to ensure he would be able to make the trip up from Georgia)
Over the years, I’ve witnessed Jake’s professionalism as both a DJ and a musician, and I was confident that he would bring the same level of dedication and care to our ceremony.
Jake went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettable. He didn’t just rely on the things he knew about me from our long-standing friendship—he took the time to also get to know my wife, Susan, beforehand. This allowed him to personalize our ceremony in a way that resonated with everyone in attendance. His words were heartfelt, meaningful, humorous and perfectly captured the essence of our relationship.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect officiant for our special day. I would highly recommend Jake and A2R to anyone looking for someone who brings not only professionalism but also a deep, personal touch to such an important event.

Jake was absolutely amazing and fun to work with! He was both our Dj/ officiant and made our ceremony very personable by getting to know us and sharing our story. After our first meeting we knew he would be a great addition to our big day. He not only provided professional services but he took the time to make sure our day was perfect and just how we wanted it. He did a great job keeping our guest entertained and everyone dancing. We loved every second of it and had lots of compliments through the night about our ceremony and reception . We could not be happier. Thank you again for such a wonderful day! -

I interviewed 7 DJ's prior to hiring Jake for our wedding event, we were mostly over 30 with guests at 80 and Jake read the crowd, so when a DJ can play music that can get an 80 year old woman to dance well that's special, being a former DJ ,I was and am a very critical person, Jake followed script until I I told him to do it and from song 1 to the end everyone was on the floor, if you're seeking a DJ for your event call A2R Entertainment, his personality, knowledge of the music are not easily matched with the younger DJs out there today, with experience going back to 1983 to present, Jake was definitely the right choice, I and my new wife definitely recommend A2R.

A2R was fantastic. He played the perfect music and officiated our ceremony as well. He did a great job on the ceremony and everyone told us they loved what he said about us. We also had the mobile selfie station from him which everyone loved.

Jake DJed my brother & sister-in-law’s wedding 10 years ago in NJ and when I got engaged January of 2019, I knew I had to have him do ours as well. We booked him about 2 years in advance before we even booked our venue just to make sure we secured our spot!! Jake traveled all the way from Georgia to NJ to DJ our wedding! That effort spoke volumes to us. Since day 1, he made us feel like legitimate family and he was so excited to make our wedding day one everyone would rave about and remember. When I tell you he rocked the dance floor all night, he ROCKED it!!! We basically had to pry our guests off the dance floor! Between songs we picked and songs he added into the queue with his best professional judgement, he added what we didn’t know we were missing! Us and our guests danced literally all night long until the lights came on. Even had my 91 year old Grandma up dancing! We had the absolute best and most memorable night all thanks to Jake and A2R. We truly don’t think anyone else could have given us the wedding experience we had— would give 100000/10 stars if we could! No words can express our thanks!! -

Jake and his company are the best in the biz! We had a client portal through his website that made planning the course of events and creating our custom playlist as simple as can be. With all of the other craziness that goes into wedding planning we were SO thankful to have that. We spoke over the phone a few times before the event to discuss everything as well.
Jake DJed our cocktail hour and reception and absolutely knocked it out of the park. He was organized, easy-going but fun and upbeat. He managed the flow of our wedding events perfectly. The reception music and making sure people had fun and felt comfortable dancing was important to us, and Jake did an amazing job of feeling the crowd and getting everyone up and moving while working through our playlist, do-not playlist and mixing in other songs that worked perfectly with our vibe. All in all, many of our guests told us it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding!
I can not recommend A2R Entertainment enough! -

Jake officiated our wedding in March. I cannot tell you how great he was! He was funny and meaningful! Jake had a way of making our ceremony both touching, and fun. He personalized it with details of our relationship that made our guests smile, and that made it really special. As for the reception, the process of selecting our songs was very easy, and he made sure to keep everyone on their feet and dancing throughout the evening. -

I could not recommend Jake enough! I was first introduced to Affair 2 Remember at my cousins wedding. A few years later my sister used them at her wedding and when my wedding rolled around in September I didn't even bother searching. I knew Affair 2 Remember was my go-to! Jake played acoustic guitar during the cocktail hour and then did the regular dj setup for the rest. The reception was supposed to be outside and when it started raining and everything had to get moved inside, he didn't miss a beat. I was actually not super excited about the dancing aspect of the wedding and he made the whole experience so easy and fun! -

We were so pleased from day one with the level of professionalism and personal attention to our requests. Our expectations were exceeded and we are thankful we choose them over the rest. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had at our wedding dancing, we certainly can’t stop talking about it too. You know the music is good when your 80 year old father makes his way to the dance floor. :-) We truly loved his style of officiating too. It was personal, funny and our guests were drawn in and wanted to hear more about our love story. Jake was amazing to work with throughout every step, from the beginning to the end.

Sherri Sent on 05/14/2015We are so grateful we had Jake as our DJ! Right from the start, he was professional and reliable. He was willing to meet in person to discuss details at our VENUE! He even walked us through our venue. All the other DJ’s we met at their office and insisted on selling us all the “extra” add ons which we weren’t interested in and Jake never even mentioned those during our meeting. His passion for music, and sound was apparent right off the bat. His enthusiasm was magnetic and he gained our trust immediately. He offered great suggestions regarding song selections any time we needed, timeline of events, etc. His online music database and planning forms are amazing tools that will take all your stress away! In regards to his performance on our wedding day…Jake was phenomenal!! To start, his timing was spot on. He was an excellent MC for the introductions and announcements throughout the night. And as far as the music, he killed it! He kept the dance floor PACKED all night!! Thanks to Jake, we continue to get rave reviews from guests about the awesome music and great time they had. Believe me when I say, Jake is worth every penny!! He made us feel relaxed and confident in his abilities. He also set up dance floor lighting which was a great addition to the dance party! Erin Sent on 11/13/2014Darryl "Jake" is a lifesaver and in short an Amazing DJ! Let me explain a bit further, we met Jake after a friend referred him over to us (we were having difficulty finding someone that we liked and meshed with). We met quite a few DJ’s and we found that most of them were either too relaxed or way too upbeat. Jake is a happy middle to both of them ; he is the best of both worlds!
Jake came to our house for our first meeting (most DJ’s we met either wanted you to go to their office or meet you at a local coffee shop – i.e. someplace that’s common ground) and he ended up staying for almost two hours. We got along so well I knew within the first half hour of our meeting that he was the one for us. He met with us a couple times during the planning process (both times coming to our house) and is available if you have any questions or need help planning. I am literally so happy with our decision to use Jake. He kept my entire wedding on the dance floor all night (which was the one big request I had) and I can’t even begin to tell you how many compliments we received on him. Our night could not have turned out any better; trust me that you’ll get everything and more by using Jake (Affair 2 Remember)!
