We knew from the moment we found AdventurePact.com that they were the perfect fit. We wanted to elope at a remote alpine lake in Washington and needed a photographer who was not only down to hike miles with us but also fully embraced the adventure.
Kayla exceeded every expectation. She made the entire planning process seamless, from scouting locations to prepping us for the hike. Even when the weather threw us a curveball on the big day, she remained calm, professional, and quick to adapt. Her positive energy and preparedness turned what could have been a stressor into just another part of the adventure. Most importantly, the photos are unreal. When we first got engaged in October 2022, we knew we didn’t want a traditional wedding but didn’t want to go to the courthouse either. We wanted something magical in between. I researched options & quickly fell in love with the idea of an adventure wedding/elopement… Not long after, I found Kayla with Adventure Pact. From the very beginning, Kayla was a Godsend. I wasn’t sure what we wanted & she helped me figure it out + bring our vision to life. She talked to me in detail about different options, locations, packages etc. Every question I ever asked from the very beginning to when we got married, she was both prompt & thorough in her responses.
We decided on Leavenworth, WA & got married by a beautiful river at sunrise surrounded by immediate family followed by a beautiful picnic brunch & cake. Afterwards, my husband & I went by ourselves and Adventure Pact to go on a bucket list hike where we got to cruise around the most stunning teal lake in packrafts she provided. It was MAGICAL!!! & that’s the thing… I have to give Kayla the extra credit she deserves because she doesn’t just take pictures… she works tirelessly to make sure every part of your day feels like a dream. In addition, even though everything went perfectly in our eyes… in reality there were so many problems she had to tackle in the days leading up to wedding day. For one, there were huge wildfires nearby that created horrible air quality and obstructed views of pretty much everything. Of course this was totally out of Kayla’s control & she had warned me of this as a potential issue when we first planned the trip. As soon as the wildfires were announced, Kayla informed me of what was going, went over plan B options and continued to track the smoke. Luckily it cleared just in time & we went ahead with plan A. Also, all of our florals arrived dead to Kayla so she went to a local wildflower farm & hand picked all my florals. I would have never known but I was so OBSESSED with my bouquet/flowers that when I told her, she was beyond relieved & told me what happened!!! I’m glad the original ones died bc it really was the most perfect bouquet :). Kayla also knew how much I wished my dog could be there with us… she surprised me with a pillow of my dog and covered the back in disco sequins bc she knows I love anything disco ball. I literally cried & that same pillow sits in a chair in the front room of our house.
Ultimately, you’re not just hiring a photographer with Kayla. You’re hiring someone that is your planner, your friend, & your biggest hype woman. Her attention to detail and determination to get things done perfectly despite whatever chaos gets thrown at her is something that separates her from the rest. I never forget our special day & everything Kayla did for us. The best decision we made for our wedding was working with Kayla + Adventure Pact. She is a jack of all trades & we would do it 1000000% over. We look forward to working with her in the future!!! In fact, we just met up recently for Christmas cards & we picked up like we never left. She’s the best! HIRE HER!!! -

We had the most INCREDIBLE elopement experience with Kayla! While we interviewed multiple planner/photographers, Kayla's work and capabilities made it an easy decision for us to choose her and we are so grateful we did!
From the moment we contacted her, she meticulously organized every detail of our special day. The hand-picked locations were simply breathtaking and made our elopement day absolutely incredible.
The details were all taken care of to a high standard: she made the most perfect bouquet and the cake was exceptional. It was really so much more than I could have imagined.

We cannot express enough gratitude to Kayla of Adventure Pact for the amazing job she did in planning our wedding. From the very beginning, she was incredibly organized, attentive, and truly listened to our vision. Kayla went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect, and the entire process was stress-free for us. We put full trust into Kayla and let her surprise us with almost everything! (no carrot cake, please!). She nailed it all.
She handled everything with such professionalism and care, from coordinating paperwork, organizing our 3 day package, to managing the timeline on the wedding day. Kayla also offered invaluable advice and creative ideas that made our day even more special than we had imagined.

I eloped with Kayla and our weekend could not have been more perfect. We wouldnt something that was special to us. We had a photographer, a private chef and baker, a wedding planner, an officiant, a florist...KAYLA. She did it all. All of those things were taken care of by one amazing human and i could not recommend her more. -

Fantastic couples adventure photography and experience!
My wife and I have had the pleasure of working with Kayla 3 times now, and she has helped cultivate some very special experiences for us. There is no doubt for us that we will continue to use her services in the future. Kayla is the definition of a professional. She is punctual, communicates in a timely manner, she is friendly, brings a great upbeat energy, and makes sure to take care of all the important little details that make the day go smoothly. Even better, by the end of your session you are likely to have made a fun and interesting new friend. The photos themselves - wow! We could not be happier with the results. She is skilled at directing you in more formal poses, but also does a great job in creating an environment that provides opportunity for capturing more relaxed, candid moments as well. Tree house Anniversary

AMAZING is not enough to describe our adventure that Kayla created for me and my husband on our anniversary vacation! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in the east coast. We are from Las Vegas and knew nothing about Georgia or Tennessee (where we chose to vacation). My husband hired Kayla months before our trip. During this time… Kayla took the time to meet with us to get to know our interests when it comes to adventures. She also learned that my husband was newly diagnosed with heart failure shortly before our planned vacation. I expressed my concerns to her regarding the adventure trip and she assured me that she would help make things easier for us. She learned that we love the outdoors especially if it includes mountain tops, clouds, and waterfalls. When I say she is amazing… she truly is! She not only provided an itinerary that my husband was able to physically keep up with—- but she gave us one of our most precious and memorable vacations! From the moment of getting ready for photos— she planned it to make things easy and special for us! She picked us up, so that we could rest since the destination for our photos was 1hr away from our tree house that we rented, she then led us to a mountain that made our jaws drop and brought tears of joy to my eyes—- the mountain was surrounded by a river of clouds, we literally felt like we were sitting above the clouds— it was a dream come true! But it didn’t stop there— she provided a romantic breakfast picnic on the mountain top and made fresh pour-over coffee! She then took us to the waterfalls, which was on our bucket list! Then, she took photos of us in our tree house! A 1 day 6hr event with her… turned out to be our most favorite day that completed our vacation. She made the experience so special! Her attention to detail was perfect and so intentional— we can tell she put thought in to every part of it— I already knew it from the experience—- and then when I saw our preview Of the pictures she took of us—- she confirmed how amazing she is—it was Like reliving every moment and falling in love over and over again! My husband and I have been together for 20 yrs— 12 of those married—- and seeing the photos she took—- Literally brought me to tears and gave me butterflies! I couldn’t wait to ask my husband to plan another adventure with her! I can’t say it enough— Kayla is amazing and I highly recommend booking with her! You will Get more than just pictures with her—- you’re getting an unforgettable experience with so much passion behind every photo! I can’t wait to book another adventure! -

Stress free beautiful experience!
Where to even start?!?! Oh wait ….. let me start with BEST DECISION EVER! My now husband and I had been engaged for 17.5 mo with life endlessly interfering with wedding plans. We knew we wanted intimate for our wedding/elopement. Due to some scheduling mistakes at work, we both had off few days together (never happens) - so we said LETS DO IT! Being last minute, I was anticipating a court house elopement (with parents to keep the peace), but I REALLY wanted outdoors/mountains...an environment my husband and I have learned to love, grow, and appreciate one another over time. I contacted multiple places in area for elopements/micro weddings and all were limited on what they had to offer (as expected)…. Then I contacted Kayla …~3.5 wks before planned “date” and she was ALL IN! In her words - "I got it, no worries...Im here 24/7, you are going to get married in a few weeks, and its going to be beautiful, ok? Relax!" Ok....(me panicking, are you sure?)…..I guess we are doing this now - (as we run to jeweler to get wedding bands....) As for Kayla: Flexible and open to ALL ideas, always accessible (literally always), gave great advice for both "wedding day" and "adventure day" with our split coverage we opted for. She did research on many venues in area so we could capture the outdoors without crazy hiking (parents mobility issues) or long travel b/w locations of selected VRBO and activities. She decided on a gorgeous mountain view location for ceremony, and planned nearby kayaking and waterfall views/hiking/pics next day. And she did ALL of this PLUS cake/hair/makeup/dinner SUPER last minute (like 2-1.5 wk before) ....and all turned out PERFECT. Have not received my all my pics but received sneak peaks within 24/48 hrs that are amazing. I mean AMAZING. I cant wait to see all the pictures! Kayla's passion and enthusiasm are literally contagious! She makes your day unique, taking into account all requests, attention to details you’ve mentioned, helps corroborate with the ones you love and are close to you as a couple in order to make your day special. She truly is one of a kind, as an individual and as your wedding/elopement/adventure planner. I have nothing to say but JUST DO IT! -

Dreamy desert canyon elopement!
I’m so grateful that we found Adventure Pact and got to work with Kayla for our elopement in the desert and mountains near Las Vegas in December. We reached out to Kayla only a month ahead of our trip, feeling like it was so last-minute we’d have to make a bunch of compromises for our day. We were so wrong! Kayla held multiple planning calls with us to get to know us, our adventure style, and our hopes for our big day, and was so reassuring that we could and would make it every bit as special as we imagined it. She answered all my anxious questions, provided a guide full of recommendations, and put together an itinerary that captured all the key elements we were hoping for in our session. On the day of, Kayla and her assistant Jeremy picked us up before the crack of dawn and timed it so we’d be at our first location right on time for a gorgeous sunrise ceremony, followed by the sweetest breakfast picnic — coffee never tasted better. After exploring the beautiful desert canyon, we got to hop back in the car to head to a perfect snowy mountain winter wonderland location for the second half of our session. Kayla credited her rock climbing experience for knowing these amazing off-the-beaten-path spots; we never would have found such perfect locations without her! Kayla's eye for detail and way of working with light shines through in the photos we got in our preview — they are stunning. Let’s face it, my husband and I are both kinda awkward and very camera shy, but Kayla and Jeremy made it fun to be photographed and gave us gentle guidance when we needed it to capture gorgeous photos that make us look good and still let our personalities shine through. Everything about working with Kayla — her solid communication and thoughtful planning, her fun and easy going nature, and her crazy talented photography — made our elopement session a dream from start to finish.

We absolutely loved our couples mini session with Kayla and would highly recommend to anyone who (like us) didn't like the 'studio' feel for our family photos. We were able to have an amazing day with hiking and winery visit that allowed us to really enjoy our session and get better photos out of it! -

Easy and Tropical!
All we had to do was walk outside our apartment and Kayla picked us up and had everything packed, planned and ready to go! We went into the cloud forest of Ecuador which was 2 hours away and shot in 3 different outfits and locations. -

A must have for the adventure elopement of your dreams!!!
A must have for your biggest tiny elopement dreams! With a last minute decision to get married in Vegas before deployment in an intimate ceremony- Kayla was there with all the best advice and locals knowledge of the surrounding area. She was down to follow us on our wild idea to bring a party bus off-roaring but also knew which roads might be a little too sendy. The entire weekend went by too quick, but we’ve got the most insane photos to remember it by, which we will cherish…5 ever! -

My husband and I booked an elopement/honeymoon with Adventure Pact (Kayla) in Huaraz, Peru. Initially, we had planned to stay in the U.S., but after looking over Kayla's itinerary for Peru, we couldn't pass it up. Boy are we happy we trusted her suggestion!! Huaraz was incredible. It is absolutely one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. Our wedding day was magical, completely surrounded my beautiful landscape. And the hikes we did during the following days were also gorgeous. So much beauty!!! Aaand everything ran smoothly. We can't thank Kayla enough for everything!! -

My partner and I used Kayla with AP for our micro-wedding and for our adventure honeymoon. Our micro-wedding/elopement was 11 people total with an adventure just for my wife and I later. Our honeymoon was in Ecuador! Kayla has phenomenal extensive connections for places, guides, and experiences. We were blown away with her planning and organizing, especially of our trip to Ecuador. She was even able to make itinerary changes with only a few days in advance, which is very impressive and we were grateful for! Kayla helped connect us to our amazing wedding officiant and our incredible videographers; her guides are top-tier, 15/10 as well! However, we had reoccurring issues of miscommunication and lack of professionalism from Kayla. She was late coming to our venue the day of the wedding and communicated different times to vendors/helpers for when our ceremony was held. Additionally, kayla couldn’t attend the second part of our day-after experience due to work fatigue. Photos were also delivered late with no advanced warning. When asked for a budget we received a screenshot of a notes app. Later, she said she spent a large amount of money out of pocket for us as clients but she was not able to provide complete or detailed cost breakdowns for most all services. The reports we did receive didn’t account for all funds paid, and it is clear that Adventure Pact does not employ or utilize professional accounting software or transactions. At the end of our trip, we also faced some personality differences with Kayla, and due to this, she did not accompany us on our summit journey, although the experience my wife and I had on our journey was still amazing and beautiful. “Best friend experience” that is so advertised was not delivered, especially towards myself.
She plans great longer trips and knows excellent places to visit. We did have an incredible time for both occasions, despite hiccups, and accredit that to Adventure Pact. As a budding business, I truly believe AP will keep growing and improve! -
