Mark made for a great day

Thank you Mark for helping us have such a great time. Everyone loved you and the music and they're still talking about the reception even three weeks after!!!!! Make sure to ask him about the photo booth. The small, added cost is nothing compared to all the fun people had and all the great and goofy pictures we now have. We'll for sure stop by on our next trip to Mammoth just to say hi!!!

Perfect for our event!

Advantage DJ was exactly what we needed for our event! We had Mark Vincent come out for an all day community event, Railroad Days in Portola. He was perfect for anything and everything I needed as a DJ and MC. His energy was great and he was excellent at getting the crowd to engage with various contests, announcements, and even got a park wide conga line going-it was rad! His song selection was perfectly themed for what we were looking for and he was extremely flexible with whatever we threw at him last minute throughout the day. The only change I would make for next year is I would take advantage of the photo booth that he offers. Seems like such a treat to offer guests! I guess there’s always room for growth each year, Photo Booth for us next time! Thanks Mark!!!

Wedding DJ in Backyard

Mark did a fantastic job! He was very punctual, entertaining, respectful, and easy going. Everyone at my wedding loved the service he provided! I couldn't have imagined the wedding with out him. The add ons were also a perfect addition to everything too.

Mark provided music and a photo booth for a free community photo with Santa Claus event.

We asked Mark to please come 3 hours early to help us set up for the event. He was exactly on time. He assisted us in setting up our event and then he set up a very professional photo booth. Mark conducted himself with the utmost professionalism and was instrumental in the success of the event. We will use Mark again in a few months for our next event and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. 10 out of 10.

Best weekend ever

To get the most important bit right out of the way Mark was a blast. He really knows how to keep the party going and listened to our requests it was perfect. He was also quick to respond and so helpful coordinating a change of plans due to weather. His kindness and professionalism during the whole process really stood out.

Wow- what a joy Mark Vincent is. He makes your special that much more special with his fun, energetic personality that can get any crowd going. We had some wifi issues so our playlists weren’t loading- but this wasn’t any issue at all since Mark knew what songs would keep everyone on the dance floor. ALSO, his services come with a photo booth that our guest really enjoyed! 10/10 recommend!

Putting fun into the love

Mark is a total pro and always gets a party started. The sound is top-notch and Mark works the crowd into a dancing frenzy. His photo booth is also always a big hit. Totally reliable, easy to work with, and a good value, rest easy that the entertainment portion of the wedding is taken care of.

Fun, upbeat, & lively! Mark brings the party and keeps it going all night long. With photo booth options as well, it was great to only have to shop one vendor for all the fun reception needs.

DJ, Host, Life of the Party

Mark brought the party to life! He kept the crowd moving on the dance floor, and was the host during our toasts. During toasts he passed the microphone from person to person smoothly and invited everyone to speak. The music selection and photo booth was fun. At one point my cousin asked "where did you find this guy?!" He was impressed. Leading up to the wedding Mark was very responsive and took the time to meet with our venue. Excellence on the dance floor!

Mark was easy to work with heading up to the wedding. Our original venue was cancled and he was able to adjust easily, move locations and be very accommodating to help with lighting, photobooth and music to bring the party to life. I have seen very few djs read and engage the crowd the same way. Mark is the best around!

Mark has been highly professional, compassionate, and wonderful to work with. Our family suffered new medical issues and unfortunately had to postpone our wedding indefinitely. Mark's awesome! He played songs that catered towards the crowd and us as a couple. We had a small wedding so we were worried that people wouldn't be into the dance floor but Mark was able to our guests involved whether that was dancing or singing along to a song.

Excellent DJ for any event!

Mark was an awesome DJ and perfect for our wedding reception. He knew exactly what type of music to play and when. It was a great selection of songs for the older guests as well as the younger ones and really knew how to get the dance floor going. Amazing DJ and MC

Played all requested songs. Reads the whole room to get everyone dancing. Has lights, a photo booth, props (hats, scarves, costumes, etc.), and great speakers to keep the party going. My guests were entertained and happy all night! :)

Thank you for an outstanding job getting our microphone sound system working better than ever. I hired Mark through another school business contact and Mark was outstanding. He was the best person ever to work on our school sound system. Mark even fixed two microphones that previous workers said they couldn't fix. I contacted Mark to have him be a DJ at our wedding reception earlier in the year and he was very easy to deal with. He was professional and flexible while trying to arrange a date to meet before the wedding and also came very prepared. He did a perfect job being involved in the reception as far as communicating with our guests, following the agenda of dances, dinner, dessert, and interacting with all of us. Guests could request any song they would like to hear and if he didn't already have it he would make sure he could get it. He was even nice enough to provide us with necessary sound equipment for our wedding ceremony that I had asked for at the last minute. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark to anyone in Inyo County or the surrounding areas looking for a professional DJ to entertain your party.

I hired advantage dj to provide entertainment for the grand opening of our business. It was very important for the event to go well. Advantage DJ handled everything well and with professionalism. They came before the event to determine where to set up their equipment; where to place lighting and what music would be best to play. When they showed up at the event they were very professional.

My corporate grand opening needed help and Mark Vincent was there to help. Mr. Vincent arranged the music, the dj, the sound quality system. My daughter was married on July 11 at an outdoor wedding and reception of about 80 guests. Mark was great. I can’t say enough good things. He met with us twice before the wedding to help us plan the time line. He listened to all our needs, and came up with great suggestions and was totally cooperative with us. We needed to have two separate sound systems, which Mark accommodated with no problem. As an MC, I couldn’t ask for better. Even though we had a plan in place, he still took all his cues from us to make sure we stayed on the same page. Mark is a great entertainer, very passionate on making his clients happy. Myself and my wife are extremely happy with Marks service with a excellent reputation! during a flash during our wedding service and, after service we had delays and mishaps with other vendors. mark stepped in and entertained while we where chewing out our cater and, baker "nadia cakes 'horrible' vender whom accused us of not paying which our receipt shown other wise" whom didn't make promise on our contract. Mark is also great at giving great distractions when things go wrong. I highly recommend him to you for weddings including every special event you have in mind.

Mark it was a pleasure working with Mark during our 1st Annual Breast Cancer Campaign /Walk on October 19, 2013. Everyone talked about Mark the DJ, and how he engaged the crowd and kept the crowd very upbeat throughout the entire event. The services Mark rendered for the American Cancer Society’s event was excellent. He was professional in your dealing with us whether it was by email, phone call or text messages. He was always on time and prompt in responding to phone calls and showing up on time for meetings.
We thank you so much for your dependability and more importantly helping to make our event the best one yet in the Antelope Valley. It was the expertise Mark brought to this event, by being a good Master of Ceremonies and the DJ services, which we are so looking forward to working with Mark again. I met Mark to pick up a PA the day before my wedding. He quickly realized I could really use help setting up the system on-site and offered to do so for a few extra bucks. Totally worth it. A total pro with kick ass equipment. Brought the dance party realness.

Mark is a true gentleman and a terrific DJ. He gave us great value and was set up with his equipment on time and ready to go. He was fun at the reception and allowed my daughter to do her own dj set for a bit. He is very personable and knows how to get your guests up and dancing. Hire him!

Mark provided the music for a small lakeside wedding at Convict Lake and at the reception held at Laurel Ridge. Despite the winds, cold and even snow flurries he was professional and attentive to our guests He managed to find music that keep our guest (ages 10-87 dancing all night. From Neil Young Harvest Moon for the first dance, fun with Motley Crue, Bruce Springsten, The Twist, Kung Foo Fighting for one of our friends, Milli Vanillia as a joke, Cupids Twist and finally capped it off with The Standell's playing Dirty Water (yes, Boston is my home. Mark had it all and I would definetly recommend him for your event.

I hired Mark as our DJ for a company Christmas Party. I had never used his services before but the venue that hosted our party had used him. I paid him prior to my party in the amount of $450.00 ($400 fee+ $50 tip). He got there a little before 5pm and was scheduled to stay until midnight. During the night he was invited to eat dinner with us - $50 a plate paid by my company. overall it was a good evening. For the most part, he had all the songs we requested, he played lots of karaoke songs (I am not too fond on karaoke so I asked him to stop playing them). My only issue was towards the end of the night I asked if he would stay an extra 30 minutes so we could continue to dance and he wanted more cash. After a small debate he agreed to stay- no extra charge. Mark was professional and courteous, it was very easy to schedule services with him. I was able to reach him on the first call every time. He arrived on time and was prepared. I would recommend he get more modern music or request that ahead of time. he seemed to play lots of older music.

DJ Mark was a great host! He was funny, well spoken, quick witted, and charming. However, he did play many songs from my DO NOT play list, and did not play the songs that I requested during certain portions of the night. Overall he kept the party going.

Gets the job done

If you are looking for a DJ and he is available to hire on your date, Mark Vincent can provide the services you need. He always tries to keep the dance floor active, and he has a lot of energy. He did sometimes jump into the middle of the full dance floor at times, and sometimes stuck a hat or pair of rabbit ears on some of our guests. He was also quite offensive when he announced “no guys dancing together” to our gay friend/groomsman who was dancing with his partner, and didn’t understand why it was offensive (some attempt at a joke?). But if you’re needing a DJ, he’ll get the job done. The Photo Booth was cool, but broke down in the early evening.

Was hoping for better

In talking to Mark prior to our event, we thought we were on the same page. On the night of our wedding, we realized we weren't. We had worked hard providing a list of songs and announcements only to have Mark play what he wanted and go by his own agenda. It was unfortunate. He did provide nice lighting and a fun photo booth but his professionalism was lacking. If you are looking for a DJ to play what he wants, photobomb your guests pictures, follow his own schedule, this is your guy.
