I've ordered a few times from sites like jjshouse and lightinthebox and I can tell you that adoring dress works a lot faster than most cheap deals sites. You get what you pay.

Most shoppers on these sites really just are not educated shoppers and I believe that's why a lot of negative reviews poor in. Working in customer service also lets me know that for every one negative review, there are about 20 positive experiences that are just not recorded. People are more likely to review things when they've had negative experiences than when they've had positive ones.

For new shoppers, I'd recommend starting small. Order one bridesmaid dress or one party dress or something and see how it goes. Do not pay attention to all the negative reviews. Make up your mind for yourself.

I was so scarred to order a wedding dress sight unseen but I can honestly say this dress is everything and more. It looks great, the custom size is spot on, the quality and detail are just as the pictures project them, price is unbeatable and will be ordering all my bridesmaids and flower girl dress through them. I have been in total communication from the start of the order on May 9th and received multiple emails from the same customer service person all the way up till the date of delivery on May 25th. I do have wrinkles in the dress but to be honest with the price being so good I will be taking it to a dry cleaners to have them removed. All in all this was a wonderful experience and I am one very happy bride!!!!

I just received this gorgeous gown for my daughter. She is 5'7" and size 2. I bought a size 2 dress and it fit perfectly. It will not need any alterations. The back is marvelous and the blue is a pretty rich royal blue. My 18 yr old daughter fell in love with the dress immediately. Highly recommend. I do not regret buying it. The price that I paid was stupendous. Great buy!

I went a several wedding boutiques to try on wedding dresses. I'm trying really hard to keep my wedding low budget so I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on a dress I would only wear once. However, it seems that with most boutiques, it's not possible to get a decent dress for under $1,000 after factoring in alterations, adding a bustle and what not. Plus, they generally seem to say that is takes 6 months to have your dress made to order (this length of time is crazy long to me!). Buying a wedding dress online is of course, a huge risk and I've spend a LOT of time trying to research different websites. There seems to be many companies that operate from China and the products are inconsistent but AdoringDress seems to have consistently more positive reviews. I decided to take the risk by ordering my bridesmaid dresses from AdoringDress and figured if I liked them, I would consider buying my wedding dress from there. Their wedding dress selection is huge and extremely affordable so I really wanted to see if I could get a dress from them. My bridesmaid dress arrived quickly (within 2-3 weeks) and I was happy with the quality. My bridesmaids loved them as well. The company seems to say they are based in Reno, NV but my dresses definitely were shipped from China. I emailed customer support about a fabric sample and was happy to hear that they could ship me up to 5 fabric samples PLUS they said they could add a bustle (for no charge I believe) and that I just needed to mention it in my order comments. After the satisfactory order of bridesmaid dresses and response from their customer support, I have made up my mind to order my wedding dress from AdoringDress. Only dilemma now is which one of the gorgeous dresses to choose from! Will definitely update when I receive my dress!

My mom’s dress was simply FABULOUS! I’m so proud of her! Adoring dress just rocks!
It’s my second transaction with adoring dress but they never failed me. The first one was last June, I ordered my engagement party dress from them and it was delivered fast. The quality of fabric and tailoring is very good. So I ordered from them again my mother’s dress to be used for my August wedding. It was a floor-length blue V neck jersey gown with bell sleeves decorated with sequins on the bodice. I am glad that it fits my mom like a dream!

My maid of honor and brides maids ordered their dresses. The quality was much higher than I expected. I had my girls go try on dresses at a wedding shop to figure out their size. We did not custom order the sizes, just ordered 10's & 12's etc. The dresses were of higher quality than a boutique dress that was close to $300. The dress we got was $100 with shipping!

I will recommend all of my family and friends to Light in the Box. I ordered a mother of the bride dress to wear as a hostess at my friends daughters wedding. It arrived on time. The dress was beautifully made. The color was perfect, it fit well. It was just a little long but no big deal. I received compliments all evening. I am a seamstress, so I inspected the dress thoroughly. The seams were excellent and was crafted great as the article stated. Thank you for a beautiful job on my dress. I will be ordering again.

I was a bit worried after ordering my Wedding Gown from Light In The Box since I suddenly found a bunch of really bad reviews about their quality and shipping times, but I must say it appeared to be far from the truth.
My dress got sent to me 3 days before the estimated shipping date and it took it 4 days to get here after it shipped (they say it takes 3-5 working days).
The quality is GREAT!! The dress is BEAUTIFUL and looks exactly like the pictures on the website. I was worried it'll be too small and I was planning to get it tailored anyway, so I decided to size up and it's actually quite large but nothing that a good tailor can't deal with.

My wedding day was a complete success because the perfect dress purchased from this website. I ordered this dress scared and blind that it would either never come or it would be horrible once I got it. The day came and this tiny box was dropped off. I almost cried thinking they did not send me a wedding dress in this small box! Opened the box and to my surprise my wonderfully made wedding dress was ready for me fitting to my exact measurements!!! We ordered 8 bridesmaids dresses. Custom made, they came beautiful craftsmanship, excellent quality,the fabric was perfect color and texture. I was pleasantly surprised. The two flower girl dresses looked great as well made of taffeta same excellent quality. We could not order the flower girls dresses in black at Davids Bridal so we decided to go to an online site to get them and are so glad we did. They were $90 cheaper at Lightinthebox.com. I ordered custom engraved champagne flute glasses and cake knife and server and both are very good quality as well.

what could I say that people haven't already stated. They have such a nice variety of dresses to choose from and I couldn't have been happier. With providing them your measurements they work the dress to fit you. And any specific needs you may want for your dress, they do provide. Great communication for certain. I had the most amazing experience with lightinthebox.com. I have read so many posts from other brides that were not pleased and I can't figure out why. My dress was custom fitted and was perfect! It was gorgeous immediately out of its packaging. I ordered the dress 4 months prior to my wedding. they told me it could take up to 8 weeks to ship. At the end of week 8, I became nervous and contacted customer support. They were very helpful in helping me find the tracking information. It appeared that it had been held up somehwere in Europe. They comtacted the appropriate people and got it on its way. It arrived within a few days. The company even emailed me personally to make sure I had received everything and asked if it was up to my expectation. It was better than expected. I loved my dress, and I still love my dress. I would do it again in a heartbeat :)

I was really skeptical of ordering a dress from lightinthebox.com because I have never ordered a dress or any clothing for that matter, online. Once I saw the price I was really impressed and after reading the reviews I figured it was worth a try. Well I received the dress within 11 days of ordering, all the way in Hawaii! The shipping price was great and the service was great as well! When I received the dress I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of it! The fabric was very good quality and it fit like a glove! After months and months of surfing lightinthebox.com 's website & reading reviews, I decided to take the plunge and buy my wedding dress over the internet and from China (of all places)! I was apprehensive and worried that I spent my money on a hoax, but.... Customer service responded to my questions, my dress was made to my measurements and was sent via FedEx 13 days after I had ordered it! I received my parcel 36 hours earlier than the estimated time of arrival and when I opened the box, I was blown away and so relieved! The dress is marvelous!!! I couldn't have asked for better! The material is of good quality and it was sewn very well... I tried it on and it fit perfectly!!!!!!!! I am so happy and satisfiefd, you just cannot imagine! I was very impressed with the quality of this dress. I was at first unsure about ordering my wedding dress over the internet without seeing out trying it on in person. But after reading the other reviews and seeing their pictures I decided to purchase.
I wanted my dress to be ankle length and it was. I'm 5'4 and I didn't have to shorten it. I did have to take it in at the shoulders and neckline it was baggy there.
The dress came with a flower pinned on. I thought the dress looked better without the flower so I took off the flower.
The dress was comfortable to wear. I like that that middle section of the dress was firm and acted like a shaper to hold me in.

lightinthebox.com is a great website to buy everything needed for your wedding, I got the cutest wedding favors from there and PEOPLE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! everyone asked where I got them from. I also bought my wedding dress from there and every one asked where did you get that from, it was totally different and looks VERY expensive when its really not! =D i love that website. only con is if you decide to return something u pay for shipping back to china which is very expensive so just make sure u make a decision before purchasing.!

I bought my dream dress for $303 including shipping and handling from China!! That princess wedding dress was meant to be mine because shortly after I bought it, they discontinued it! Don't be worried about buying your dress online from China, no less, cause my fears were calmed after I received it! It truly was what was advertised. I even bought my jacket and tiara with them! The maid of honor's dress was also bought with them and although we had some alteration problems with it, the quality of the dress was still great and the color was just as described! It all worked out perfectly for me in the end!

I searched for my dress all over and couldn't find that "right" one. I just happened to stumble across this website and found my dress. I absolutely loved it! I knew that I had to have the dress. I ordered the dress offline. I kept checking the date for when it was to come in but when the date passed i was concerned. I emailed them about it and they immediately contacted me. They apologized and said that if i still wanted the dress that they would take 10% off the price that I paid. They have to custom make the dresses when you order them so it took about a week longer than it was saying. It wasn't a problem for me and when i got the dress it was perfect.

I ordered my dress before reading any reviews, I fell in love with the dress online while looking at different styleS. After I ordered I read horrible reviews and was full of regret! I didn't have time to look for a new dress nor did I want to spend the money. I got my dress and loved it. It fit perfectly!!! I needed minimal alterations to make it perfect! The style (high low strapless wedding dress) was perfect. Order your dress a couple sizes bigger!! It's ships from China. I ordered a dress in a size 16 and I usually would were a 9/10. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

I highly highly recommend AdoringDress. I must admit I was a little skeptical at first buying a wedding dress online. I have however, exhaustively went around town and tried on so many dresses in the shops and never fell in love with any of them (not to mention the crazy prices!). It has beautiful designs that was so tempting and after reading so many reviews. I decided to give it a try. Boy I'm glad I did! Their communication was super professional, timely and proactive. My dress arrived within 1 month of order and it is stunningly beautiful The cut, lace quality and overall material is exactly like what you would expect from the pictures. It is also a perfect fit as I gave them my measurements. They were so proactive they asked for my height as well as how tall my heels would be. I am SUPER SUPER SUPER happy with my dress.

AWESOME DRESS, AWESOME SERVICE!
I thought it would be difficult for me to communicate with people that I cannot see personally regarding my specifications on my flower girls’ dresses. It will be my wedding after all, and I want everything to be perfect, from the venue, the florist, the photo/video, the dresses, and other wedding details. A colleague recommended online store adoring dress to me. The store is a favorite party dress provider of hers.

I decided to have my flower girls outfit ordered online as my seamstress can no longer accommodate the same. Since the girls have varied body sizes I was worried that adoring dress will not get the correct measurements. It would be a hassle to look for someone to do the repairs you know! Luckily, the dresses came out beautifully with the beads carefully sewn so they won’t fall off with the girls exploits on my big day.

Fast and perfect! I did not expect that adoring dress can process my order so soon. I ordered for the plus size wedding dress with lacy straps and beaded sweetheart bodice. I was expecting 20 days at the most but voila, the delivery man knocked on my doorstep on the 12th. I was surprised and excited to finally receive my package! My friends were there with me at the time because we were picking the best set up for my garden wedding. I set the box on the center table and the girls waited on bated breath as I open the box. I saw the straps and the bodice first and the beadings – they’re really pretty! But when I took the wedding dress from the box… it’s absolutely gorgeous! And the fit ---perfect! No need for adjustment. I am so happy because I got what I paid for. I can’t wait to wear it on my BIG day!

I got my dress, petti coat and veil from LITB.
I do NOT regret it and never will.
They do not have a crazy long list of dress choices but I found THE one for me.
The dress was well made, looked better than some dresses in some stores around.
The only reason I gave a 4.5 on Quality of service is because their colors can be a little weird depending on the material.
My dress had a satin belt. I asked for grape, but Got hmmm Magenta?.
We ended up ordering my husband's Tie from them too because we could not find any place with the same color as my sash. It worked out perfect.
Definately consider them. If i got married again, I would buy my dress from them again! :D

I was a little leary about ordering a dress from the internet. This was one of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning. The dress is made to the measurements you send. You have some many choices to choose from and the cost is very, very reasonable. My dress including shipping cost less than $200. Some bridal shops would use scare tactics and tell you the online vendors are not dependable and give you horror stories of brides that have gotten scammed by some people but this one is highly recommended by me.

Like many others who purchased their dresses from this site, I too was extremely nervous. When I first ordered the dress there were no updates on my account about what was going on, so I emailed the company. I received a response back within a couple of hours and I received the date as to when I would be receiving my dress. The dress was scheduled to ship out on 4/15 and it shipped on 4/14 and I received it 2 days later. The packaging that it came in wasn't very fancy so I was thinking, oh no I'm going to have some kind of crazy dress. When I opened the package I couldn't believe it. My wedding dress is gorgeous. The beading is so detailed and it fit perfectly. The only thing that I didn't like was the sash around the waist but it will be easy to find one that can cover it. Overall I am happy with Adoring Dress and I would recommend them.

I ordered for 3 one-shoulder short chiffon bridesmaid dresses for my beach wedding from Adoring Dress 2 months ago. They were of 3 different colors: green, blue, and pink in 3 different sizes. I made sure that they got the sizes and colors right. I don’t want to be stressed out by wrongly delivered items days before my wedding!

The dresses arrived on the promised delivery schedule. My friends tried them on and we’re happy that we don’t need to have them repaired. The adjustable belt was a great help! Adoring dress was able to get my instructions perfectly. Will not hesitate to use them again!

The only reason I gave a 4 for value was because they deceive you into thinking a sale is ending but really that's the every day price. Although I do believe I got a good deal on my dress I felt stressed that I would miss the sale and made a decision based on that and perhaps would have waited or made a different selection if I had known I could get that price whenever.

That aside. The dress is great, they have fast service and my custom measurements were spot on. The dress is better than I expected for the pice and I am very pleased overall.

I order my wedding dress online which everyone in my family disagreed with, but when I saw the pictures I just fell in love. The price was so reasonable that I thought I'd take the risk and I am so happy that I did. My wedding dress arrive about 5 weeks after I ordered (2 weeks earlier then they quoted) and fit perfectly. The quality of the dress was so beautiful and I received nothing but compliments. My family still thinks that I spent 6 times as much as I actually did.
I also ordered my daughters dress from them to match and she was too cute in her ivory gown with a black sash to match the bridesmaids.

I bought my dress June 10 and received it today June 30! I couldn't be happier with it! It is beautiful and just like the picture. It also fits me perfectly. I also give their customer service an A+ they got back to me within hours with an update on my dress. I ordered my dress from light in the box because I couldn't find what I wanted in town or in my size. I was very pleased with the results, and surprised at the quality for the low price. I did still have it altered even though I ordered the dress with my specific measurements, but it wasn't an issue because the price was still lower than if I had purchased it at a regular retailer.

I ordered 2 grape coloured bridesmaids dresses (http://m.lightinthebox.com/reviews/sheath-column-strapless-floor-length-chiffon-bridesmaid-dress-review_p188924) from Lightinthebox.com at the end of February and received them earlier than expected and suggested. I was so eager to get them. They couldnt have been more perfect. The fabric is better quality than I expected. I was a bit worried at first as they were fairly cheap when I ordered them in the sale. But definitely very very happy. I chose 2 size 8s and they fit a standard UK size 10 but are very long which i expected but you can have them custom fitted for no extra charge, but I know a good tailor personally. I will definitely order from them again.

Also, just to add, I emailed them prior to purchasing and they were very attentive and answered every question i raised.

The dress is really very pretty. Order on the 31st of July and received on the 8th of Aug, now thats really quick delivery. The dress itself is very well structured, quality of the material is pretty good! Definitely worth the price. 2 or 3 sequins have come loose but I expect that out of any dress with sequins. I ordered the blushing pink one to go in with my wedding colour scheme.

Its super shiny and sparkly, looks great in pictures. I order a size 12 even though I can fit into a size 10, just in case it was tight, I could always tailor.

It’s a little too brightly coloured for me. (I was hoping for a more pastel or baby pink since there are no swatches for sequins), I think this dress looks better with dark colours. Overall, I have yet to decide whether I like the pink to wear it at my wedding but service and workmanship wise, Lightinthebox.com is pretty awesome.

They have great selection on Wedding attire and they have wholesale pricing. You can have the attire custom fit as well for just a little extra money. I highly recommend them as I got my wedding dress custom fit and only paid about $200.00 dollars. I also purchased my bridesmaids dresses through them they were about $80.00 dollars each! If you are on a tight budget Light in the box is the way to go!

If you haven't always dreamed of a designer dress or you just want to get something you want for cheap then use this website!! It has a good variety of dresses for a GREAT price (especially since you can customize the fit so no tailor needed!!) They made it and shipped it super fast!! The only downside is that depending on the dress the material may look a bit cheap and doesn't have all the lining underneath and so a slip may be required but overall I'd buy from here again.

I purchased a special occasion dress from LightInTheBox.com and the dress arrived two weeks earlier than estimated delivery date. The material is of good quality, the lining inside is smooth that when you wear the dress, it feels very comfortable. The beading work is excellent. The colour of the dress is exactly what is shown in the picture. I am a size 12 in Australia, 5 ft and 4 inches tall, weighs 60.85 kilos, however, I decided to order a size 10. I am so glad I did, because it fitted me perfectly with still room to move. The pleats on the dress, means I don't have to suck in my stomach as it hides and falls nicely around my tummy. This is an online discounted website. I ordered my wedding dress, the bridesmaids' dresses, and my mom ordered her dress all from this website. The quality of clothing isn't spectacular, however, due to their great prices we had extra money to take the dresses to a spectacular wedding dress designer who made sure everything fit perfectly! The timing of the dresses all came in quickly and we received what you ordered. If you are on a budget and are not satisfied with the traditional look that is offered at other stores, then I would highly recommend this website. There are a lot more options non traditional options that you can choose from. I would just keep in mind that if you order something from here, be ready to take it some where to make a few changes. They met most of my expectations and the guest couldn't believe how great the wedding party looked!

This is a very nice quality dress. The lace was in great condition with no snags. The dress is very comfortable. The one thing I would say is that the picture is a little misleading as it looks like there is sequins down the side that follow the lace. There is no sequence but it still looks and wears great! Very pleased all around with this purchase. Came only 4 days after I ordered it!

I was apprehensive about ordering my wedding dress online from an overseas vendor. The dress arrived within 2 weeks and was made exactly to the measurements I provided. The color was more fabulous than I had hoped and I was so taken with my dress that I nearly slept in it on our wedding night!

My advice:
You'll be dealing with someone many time zones away- so responses will not be immediate.

Remember that they've taken the time to learn English, but it is not their native tongue. You'll have to read their reply and digest it slowly, to unravel some of the more entertaining turns o phrase.

The customer service button is not labled as such. It says something like ask a question about customs.
Just type your inquiry there, regardless of whether or not it is customs related, they have to reply to all inquiries sent through this channel within 24 hours.

Don't be afraid to use live chat BEFORE you place your order to verify how you should measure.

WATCH THE VIDEO about measuring for fit. It'll save you a lot of frustration and anxiety.

Pay for Expedited Shipping. Seriously. You'll be able to track your package and know the instant it clears customs.

My husband and I purchased almost 300 double-happiness keepsake candles from Light in the Box. I have read from other reviews that these candles do not smell very good when lit, but they look fantastic and are the perfect size for wedding favors. The price is affordable, and the expedited international shipping worked great for us. The candles even come individually wrapped in clear plastic boxes wrapped with gold bows. The only down side is that Light in the Box has placed an incredibly sticky UPC code on the ribbon/box, and this is nearly impossible to remove -- even with GooGone or similar products. We ended up placing each candle in cellophane candy bags and tying the ribbon to secure it. If they removed the UPC sticker, these candles would have been perfect!

I was a second time bride, so I did not want to spend a lot of money on a dress. Light in the Box offered a beautiful selection for unbelievable prices and custom tailoring. Eventually I chose an evening gown inspired by a Roberto Cavalli design in silver. It was gorgeous and the quality was top notch! It even had a built in bra, which is always a sign of high quality. On my wedding day, the dress definitely stole the show because it was so unique! And no one would have believed that I spent under $200 for a custom tailored designer dress. In fact, our photographer asked if we would sign a model release form so that she could use our pictures on the company's website and other marketing materials because she loved how I looked in that dress.

Their customer service is really good. Upon late delivery, LITB ended up giving a discount to the bridesmaids dresses that we ordered, but the dresses themselves were not that great...The materials used were really good, but the dress itself was sewn crookedly so when we went to get further alterations the seamstress had a difficult time.

I am extremely picky about my clothing, especially dresses. I am what you'd call an apple shape, as I have a large bust, broad shoulders, a tendency to carry weight in my mid-section, but yet I have very small hips and legs. Finding dresses is always a nightmare, so I was very hesitant to order one online. Knowing that wrap-style dresses are most flattering for my figure, I took a chance on ordering this one, and I am so glad that I did. I ordered this dress in the royal blue to wear to a wedding, and I received more compliments than I ever would have expected. Not only did the dress fit perfectly (I'm a size 12), it flowed in all the right places. The split top was somewhat revealing, however I used a small safety pin to keep everything in place, which worked perfectly.

The only thing I would change about this dress is the rouched sleeves. They are more gathered than what you can tell in the picture, and drew more attention than I would have liked to my arms (which are also big), but it wasn't so bad that I was self-conscious. Great dress! I bought this dress for a wedding. It fits well but the fabric seems lighter than anticipated. Overall a great dress for women size large. Lace back is great and it can be worm with a beige bra!
The only problem was the slit on this dress was too high. Great for any special functions if you dont mind showing off great legs :-)

I ordered a dress from this seller. It was absolutely gorgeous & beautiful - very nice quality & made well. The color was gorgeous - light gold & cream. I ordered size 1-2. It was a little big in the arm area but she's very small for her age (26" & 25 lbs.) The only thing I disliked was that the glitter on the skirt got on everything. Be sure to mist it with aerosol hairspray as soon as you take it out of the bag or everything will be covered in gold sparkles.

I wasn't sure if I wanted a veil, and my mother really like the $400 I tried on at the bridal store, but that wasn't happening, so I tried lightinthebox.com after the recommendation of a friend who had gotten married a few months earlier.
Found a great elbow length veil, with two tiers, and lots of detailing & sparkles. Matched my dress & my other other headpiece very well.
You couldn't beat the prices, and my veil arrived in days.

I was very pleased with the quality of the dress and most of the accessories I ordered. The only drawback would be if you have to return to China, so far, it's been quite a few weeks and we have not heard about a return, so it's not fun to have to chase the company for communication, but overall, if you are sure it will fit, I was very impressed.

This is a web based opperation. The dresses must be ordered by internet. Excellent prices. I would highly recommend ordering your wedding dress or brides maid dresses from this vendor. I would recommend ordering custom sized for the extra money. Buyer beware, shipping cost is not cheap... still better priced than in the boutiques. Be sure to order your dress 3-6 months prior to the wedding so that if additional alterations are needed you have plenty of time to get them done. My dress was extremely well made and not to mention beautiful! I was very suprised with the quality of the dress it was exactly like the picture on the website.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses through Adoring dress. I ordered 8 short dresses and received them in 3 WEEKS, FREE SHIPPING. Also, all my dresses were under $100. Also, the customer service was helpful in making sure the color is exactly what I wanted before ordering by sending me snap shots of the dresses on mannequins in different lighting. Also, I was able to have all my girls dresses custom made to fit their measurements for no extra cost. Those are the great things I have to say about Adoring Dress. The only negative I have to say is that some of the dresses fit the girls a little funny (the wire boning looked strange on some of them) and on some of the girls the shape of the dress turned out different than expected. So some of my girls had to get theirs altered. But honestly, for the quality of the fabric, the price of the dresses and the speed of shipping, its a deal! I recommend it for brides who don't want to charge their girls hundreds of dollars and don't have time to wait around for places like Bella Boutique to take 3 months to send the dresses and charge you $25 per dress for shipping.

I got my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from here and i would do it again. Cheap products but great products. bridesmaids dresses were the perfect color and super fast about 1 month from order placed to ordered received. they said they fit great just got to be taken in around the boobs. my wedding dress is not 100% like it was in the picture but still love it. they kept me updated on when it was being made and shipped even the day it would be here. it is a little tight around my hips but other wise its great. would suggest using them!

First of, super super fast shipping! I was really pleasantly surprised and excited. The dress it's self fits perfect. I'm 5'1 and with 4 inch heels it pecfect in the length. It's a very bright apple red so you will make heads turn. I have a wedding to attend and I think it's a great dresss for the occasion. I got a size small and fits like a glove. Hope this review will help you. I will definetly buy from this seller again. I'm a really happy camper!

So I choosed another shop for her, that is store of dress,the girl in the customer service department is so helpful.

I ordered my 5 bridesmaids dresses from Light in the Box, and the dresses were fantastic. Great quality, beautiful designs. The only complaint I have is that having the vendor across the ocean was an obsticle as there was a language barrier when it cam to questions or concerns. One of my bridesmaid accidentally ordered her dress with incorrect sizing. LITB tried contacting her about the mistake, but she didn't get her messages. So the company ended up canceling her order and refunding the money. I had to go back and reorder the dress, and when I tried doing so and contacted customer service, I found it was hard getting someone who understood my problem. But in the end, we figured it out and the dresses turned out amazing....and for a really great price.

LOVED my dress. It arrived 10days early and it was perfect!!! Only advice I have is to order one size up from the START! Changes made later aren't done. But I got the exact dress I wanted, made of good material and pretty as I imagined it would be. Thanks to adoring dress!!!

I know a lot of brides are scared to buy their dresses online. I just have to say I'm glad I ordered mine from Light in the Box. It was beautiful and unique, not like any dress I've ever seen at another wedding (and I have been to a lot of weddings). I would recommend them over other Asian sites, because they design their own dresses. If you hope to get a knockoff of a dress you love at an extremely low price, think again. If you happen to fall in love with a dress from LITB, try it out.
My dress was made a little too small in the bust. I sent the pictures to LITB and they refunded me more than enough for having the alterations here. The refund they gave me actually was $40 more than my alterations cost. In the end, it turned out I lost 15 lbs before my big day, so I could have gotten away without the alterations, but of course, I wouldn't recommend anyone to count on weight loss when ordering your dress! Anyway, with all the negative stuff you hear about these sites, I thought it was important that I review them since I LOVE my dress, and I got TONS of complements. I have even gotten complements from friends who didn't get to go to my wedding. They see the pictures and that is the one thing they always choose to mention.

I took a HUGE chance in ordering my wedding dress from the Internet, but I was not disappointed at all! I followed their sizing guide, and my dress fit perfectly. My dress looked like it cost at least $800, but it was only $239! NO ONE believes me when I tell them that!

Their customer service is not organized very well, though, so it is hard to communicate with them.

I ordered a custom made wedding dress. It arrived within one month and communication was good. On arrival of the dress I am disappointed as it's way too long in the front and just hangs on me - not at all tailored to fit my body. I am sure a good dressmaker can fix this then it will be beautiful. The material is great and provided extra beading.

I had purchased my veil and my wedding shoes from Light in the Box. My veil had came in with no problems and it was exactly what I wanted and liked. I was very pleased with that but when I had ordered my wedding shoes they came in completely differeng then what I had ordered. And my new replacement wedding shoes came in the day that I needed them for my bridal fitting with was 5 days before my wedding. I wouldn't suggest buying from them unless you have enough time to get the things you ordered. But their prices are unbeatable.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend for petite plus-sized custom-made dresses. The bodice fit beautifully, however the knee-length dress I expected ended up being a tea-length dress. I ended up spending as much time on altering the dress as I would have if I had just made the dress from scratch myself.

So my experience with this vendor was quite weird. I never got a response from them until 3 weeks later! that day i spoke to them they didn't know the status to my dress.
The good thing was that after i spoke to them, 30 min later the mail man came to my door with my dress! you would not believe the little bag the dress came in! Yes it was a little bag but as i opened it was the exact same dress i wanted! I was measured for my dress so i would fit perfectly. Good thing i lost weight downside i need to make some adjustments. Although communication was horrible my dress came sooner than expected and I'm in love with the dress! i don't believe i could find this dress or similar dress at this price! nerve racking but i guess it was worth the by! I do not recommend the page because of the bad service they give.

I wear size 4 - ordered size 4 and could not even get in the dress. Reordered a size 6 - still could not fit in the dress. I have other size 6 clothing from reputable brands that are very loose on me.

We ordered our bridesmaid dresses from them. We had custom measurements for 1 which they managed to get very wrong despite putting the correct ones on the tag. The others were their "standard size and all of the dresses fell off the shoulders and did not fit any of the girls in pretty much every way. They are now having to pay just as much as the whole dress cost to have it altered and the custom add one is having to be sent back as it was not even close.

My mother order her dress for my wedding from Light in the Box. When she tried to return it, they claim that it's "Custom Made". Funny, they never asked for her measurements, just what size dress she wore. We where going to order another dress through them, but not now. My advise, DO NOT BUY from this company. If you must, realize that whether you like it or not when you receive it, your stuck with it.
