  COVID park wedding - October 2020

  My husband and I chose Annette shortly after witnessing her officiate the ceremony for two of our very close friends. Her professionalism is on point and you can tell she is passionate about what she does and takes it seriously. She can command a space, which worked wonders during rehearsal when we were experiencing technical difficulties and the bridal party was getting antsy. I had unfortunately lost my venue 4 weeks before wedding day, and therefore lost my original ceremony location and coordinator. With these changes in place, Annette stepped up to fill in any gaps in communication during rehearsal and on the day of, which gave me an abundance of confidence that my less than ideal ceremony situation (no chairs for guests, in a public park with folks yelling “bababooey” in the background, a live streaming tripod setup, and a Bluetooth speaker for music) would still go off without a hitch, and it did! Additionally, I mentioned to Annette that I wanted to keep the ceremony short and sweet since folks were going to be standing for the entire duration, and she got it done in 14 minutes! And lastly, she is a wonderful orator as all of my live stream viewers heard her perfectly without any special microphone setup. I would highly recommend her services as officiant!

  Flexible and Accommodating

  Annette was very professional and accommodating despite all the challenges we presented her. Her recommendation for a photographer was perfect. The ceremony was very personalized, the lines were spot on and beautiful. We couldn't be anymore pleased with our service. We would highly recommend Annette to anyone.

  Very positive experience

  Annette was a pleasure and a professional. We had someone fall through, and she stepped in on short notice. The ceremony she presided over was just what we wanted... sweetly said, personal and delivered with optimism and confidence.
  She was great. All of our wedding guests who interacted with her had nothing but positive remarks.

Annette was willing to work with us on short notice, even though she already had an event earlier in the day! Despite the short notice and us living out of state, she planned the perfect ceremony! She is friendly, professional, and accommodating, we could not have asked for a better officiant for our day, we would highly recommend ADK Wedding Officiant!

  Annette was absolutely wonderful at our wedding. She was professional, punctual even with crazy traffic, and though we were flying by the seats of our pants a bit, she prepared an excellent ceremony which included our own personal vows. She writes beautiful readings, and even included the significance of us getting married on the summit of Whiteface, which we both really loved. Thank you so much for helping make our day extraordinary!

  Everything we wanted and more!

  We are so glad our friend recommended Annette to us! From the very start, we knew she was the perfect fit! She was friendly, professional, out going and flexible. We were able to contribute to the what we wanted in the ceremony which was so important to us. If you want the perfect wedding, like we did, use her, you won't be disappointed!!!!!!

  Remarkable!!

  ADK Wedding Officiant was the perfect addition to our special day. The service Annette delivered was truly remarkable. Not only did she marry us, she helped with decorations and was able to troubleshoot prior to the ceremony when the audio wasn't working well. I would highly recommend Annette for your Wedding Day!

  The Only Choice for a Beautiful Wedding Proceeding

  ADK Wedding Officiant was the only choice for our wedding. Annette wrote and delivered beautiful vows and inspirational words. Annette went above and beyond by helping coordinate and direct some of the wedding events. I would highly recommend Annette for your Wedding Day!

  Unprofessional and not responsive

  I booked this vendor last year for our October 2021 wedding. She asked me to reach out to her this summer so we could meet up in person and talk about our ceremony. I reached out in July and she answered and asked what days and times work best I answered her and have not heard back at all. I’ve attempted to call, I have sent numerous emails, I’ve even messaged her many times on here and have not heard a response. Unfortunately I’m out my deposit and had to book another officiant because it is so close to my wedding. Hoping to share so other people do not book her and share the same experience I have.

  My fiance and I originally were scheduled to be married in 2020 and it was pushed a year to 2021. We booked Annette in 2020 and then confirmed the move to 2021 once we cancelled. In July, we began to reach out again for our September wedding. There have been double digit attempts at emails and phone calls/messages. We were able to connect once via phone where we were told to call back later, which we did to no answer. I think it was answered because we used a different number that was not recognized. As our date approached and after 1 month of trying to get in touch, we were forced to find a new officiant and kindly asked for our deposit back. We again have not heard anything back and not received the deposit back. The professional thing to do would have been to give us our deposit back instead of keep it for services that were not provided, and let us know she was not able to complete what we hired her to do. Extremely unprofessional and I could not recommend to anyone. No couple should be put into this type of bind.
