Absolutely wonderful!

Terry was absolutely wonderful to work with for my big day! She was organized, prepared, and I felt completely at ease in her hands. On the day of the wedding, the weather gave us some unexpected curve balls (an unexpected rain storm during our outdoor cocktail hour) and Terry was able to come through and help get all of our guests to the reception dry!

I would recommend Terry to anyone! Thanks again for all your help.

Above and beyond

Terry is beyond wonderful to work with - she is talented, kind, flexible, and passionate. She took every idea I had and ran with it, going beyond every possible expectation. She gave us a few samples to choose from after getting some general likes and dislikes, and then created an entire paper package to make every detail match - from invitations, to welcome bags, to menus, and table numbers, to programs. Everything was perfectly put together and SO beautiful. When it was getting close to the wedding, I realized we needed to increase our ourder number for programs, and Terry was so understanding and nice, and quickly made the additional programs for us. Our wedding was perfect, and we owe so much of it to Terry. I can't possible rave about her enough! Beyond all of this, she is the sweetest person, and I thoroughly just enjoyed getting to know her - it was sad to realize we wouldn't be talking all the time anymore after the wedding!

Perfection!

The quality of the invitations was excellent. Terry helped pull our ideas together to create a perfect unique design for us, and also provided guidance on addressing formal invitations. The second best thing we did for our wedding was hire a planner - the first best thing we did was hire AddedTouchesByTerry as our planner!

First of all, if you're planning your wedding, you NEED at least a day-of-coordinator (and not the one that "comes with the venue"). This is coming from a Type A project manager "I can do it myself" standpoint. And sure, I could have done most of it myself but it A.) wouldn't have been as amazing and B.) I wouldn't have enjoyed myself the day of the wedding, or the weeks leading up. Terry is one-of-a-kind - from the first meeting she said she treats each wedding like her own daughter's wedding, and that couldn't have been more true. Terry is professional, reliable, responsible, and thought of literally EVERYTHING I needed to think about or make decisions for. And the best part was that I felt super prepared within the ~2 weeks leading up to the wedding, we weren't scrambling at the end because she knows what she's doing. On the day of, she was like superwoman - I don't know how she kept all the moving pieces working together, but she did. I could go on and on, but I could not recommend Terry more.

OH and she did our paper products (invitation, place cards, escort poster, table settings, bar sign, etc.)... there were so many things I didn't think about that she did for us too - like the ceremony sign and a welcome sign. I've heard from other brides that putting together the escort poster/place cards in the days leading up to the wedding were the worst part, but Terry handled all of it beautifully. I got SO many compliments on all the paper products/signs!

Highly recommend Terry Larkin!

Terry Larkin was a total pleasure to work with! She did a beautiful job with our invitations. They were gorgeous and everyone absolutely LOVED them! And Terry was also our wedding coordinator. Working with Terry was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made! We had lined up many of the vendors before we met Terry, but she was such a terrific resource for everything else that was needed. Every vendor that Terry suggested did a great job for us. I cannot say enough positive comments about Terry Larkin, Added Touches and her team. She is delightful to work with and thinks of everything! Stunning Invitations!

Added Touches by Terry provided us with the most beautiful invitations for our July wedding in Washington DC.! After meeting Terry at the Wedding Expo in Fairfax, we were immediately drawn to her friendly and outgoing personality as well as her knowledge and expertise when it came to the stationary for our wedding…not to mention the stunning invitation examples she showed us! We knew that invitations were critical for a good first impression to our guests and Terry completely outdid herself in designing our perfect invitations after meeting with her and going over designs and color themes. She sent us proofs via e-mail which we were able to look over and preview before she printed them and she was very fast in communicating with us. The moment we sent out our invitations, we received texts and calls from our guests saying that they were the most stunning and well thought-out invitations they had ever received . Everyone said the invitations contained every detail needed from transportation to accommodations to RSVPing. Terry also designed our menus and escort cards which matched our invitations perfectly! They were elegant and perfectly complimented our wedding theme. She also gave us "Mr" and "Mrs" signs for the back of our chairs at our sweetheart table! The quality of the stationary and Terry's professionalism, flexibility, great communication and talent are unparalleled! We are SO pleased with everything she did for us and would HIGHLY recommend her for all of your wedding stationary needs!

Amazing invitations!

We could not have been happier with our invitation suite created by Terry. She truly goes above and beyond and does not rest until you absolutely love your invitations. Best Decision Ever

I cannot recommend Terry enough. I was in an incredibly busy and stressful time with work and she kept all of the wedding plans on track. She went above and beyond with my vendors making sure that I had the wedding of my dreams. When my wedding had to be moved indoors last minute she worked with my venue and my florist to ensure that the ceremony location was as visually appealing as it could be. We had many personal touches that we wanted included both during the ceremony and reception and she made sure those were set up - but the best part is after the reception was over Terry and her team packed everything up and delivered it to our hotel room. I cannot even imagine how long it would have taken me and my husband to do that - instead we were able to go spend more time with our friends. I haven't even mentioned the invitations and other paperware she created for us. I had multiple people tell me that our invitations were the most beautiful ones they had ever seen. Terry is incredibly organized and incredibly caring. Hiring her was the best decision I made around my wedding - and again I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Terry for helping to give me the wedding of my dreams!

Gorgeous invitations

I can't begin to explain how thankful I am for Terry. Not only was she a great resource for general wedding questions, she created beautiful decor for my wedding. Amazing wedding planning and expertise experience

Terry was a wonderful planner to work with- we were referred to her from a family member that had great success using her a few years back. Terry not only recommended the right style or theme preferences we had, but she also knows many different vendors/contacts within the wedding arena that could help assist with our requests. Her professionalism and honesty is a great asset to have when making such key decisions that will affect both sides of your joining families. She works hard to understand what is important to you, your fiance, and families so that she can help bring your dreams come true at the wedding. Additionally, her prep work with you done before the wedding date is great so that she can make sure you have nothing to worry about on the actual wedding. We were able to completely rely on Terry all day and had nothing to worry about the day of the wedding. Terry was fabulous to work with!

I would highly recommend using Terry for wedding invitations and any day of paper goods. She quickly understands what style invitation you want and makes suggestions on how to add special touches. Her ideas are wonderful. We got so many compliments on the invitation. The paper is high quality and the color options are numerous. She got back to any questions we had in a very timely manner. Terry was phenomenal. To describe Terry as perfect would be an understatement. We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Her attention to detail went above and beyond, and she was a class act throughout the process. Her talent is only matched by her professionalism. Terry would make recommendations based on her experience, but supported every decision that we made. Terry coordinated all of our vendors flawlessly; everyone was on time, and where they needed to be (including us!) and our wedding could not have gone smoother. We also had the opportunity to have Terry create all of our paper goods (invitations, wedding signs, bar signs, place cards, menu, welcome bags, bar signs) she is a master craftswoman, and we cannot count how many compliments we received from our guests. Terry was as much a part of our wedding as our family, and treated us as such. We truly loved working with Terry and cannot recommend her enough.

Terry is the creme de la creme when it comes to day of coordination, invitations and day of paper! I initially was looking at using the Dandelion Patch for my invitations but I really wanted something custom since my wedding colors were so unique- eggplant and rose gold. Terry invited us to her (beautiful!) home in Fairfax and showed me her beautiful creations that were personalized for me and my wedding. I mean, she already had proofs in hand before we even chose her for her services! Oh my gosh they were so gorgeous I had the hardest time choosing which one was going to be my paper motif- but one perfect design incorporated my wedding flowers, the rose gold accents and the beautiful dark purple base. She customized the font to more of my husband's taste and even did the digital addressing and assembly of our invitations! She also printed so many more details so that our wedding kept a cohesive theme- our escort posters, the menus, table numbers/anniversary cards, welcome bags, and even did custom Bible verse posters for our reception.
Terry deserves 10 stars because she also handled my mother, who turned into a Momzilla by the end of wedding planning. My mom would kill me for saying anything but Terry handled her like a professional and met all of her expectations. Terry also acted like my second mom throughout the process- supporting me while making sure every detail was perfect and executing everything flawlessly. She also stretched her "day of" services to include set up of my mom's over the top reception decorations the Friday before the wedding. She flawlessly led our rehearsal and ensured none of my bridal party ended up too inebriated to participate in wedding festivities the next day (she's clear about expectations) and brought us a yummy lunch on wedding day. She spent three hours with us going over the timeline to ensure all the vendors were on the same page and make sure that wedding day went smoothly. I love Terry-she is a wedding must have!!

One of the best decisions my daughter and I made when planning her wedding was to hire Terry from Added Touches to handle our Paperware needs and be our Day Of Coordinator! Terry worked with my daughter to create just the right "look" she envisioned with regards to the invitations, programs, etc and made sure all the paper products were delivered on time and in perfect order. Having Terry as the Day of Coordinator was key to allowing myself (the mother of the bride) as well as my daughter to absolutely let go and enjoy every second of the wedding weekend from the rehearsal to the post reception send off. Terry and her team handled everything and all we had to do was have the Best Day Ever!

Working with Terry, from Added Touches, was one of the best decisions as I started to plan my daughter's wedding. I thought we were just going for invitations, but it became clear that there was a lot more she would do. She prepared everything that had to do with paper. I found Terry at a bridal show in my area and was so impressed by the beautiful work that she did. Terry offers something different from all of the other vendors that I had looked at for my daughter’s wedding invitations. The quality of her work and attention to detail is exceptional, and well-priced. She is wonderful to work with and offers great advice on what you are envisioning. The wedding invitations, wedding programs, thank you notes, seating place cards, escort, menu and photo booth signs all tied together using my daughter’s wedding colors. Many of our guests commented on the exquisite details of each piece. Terry and her team at Added Touches did a fabulous job at my daughter's wedding. Terry helped us plan from the very beginning of organizing, picking the venue, the invitations, welcome bags and even helpful ideas and where to shop for the best prices and excellent quality to the very end at the day of checking every detail to make it lovely. And she did all this with only 5 months to plan! She was amazing and we couldn't have done it without her. Just the timeframe alone was very daunting. She kept us on track and everything went smoothly even with a rainstorm that arrived just as the wedding was about to begin at our beautiful outdoor Pippin Hill Wedding. Terry somehow knew what nature had planned had Pippin hold the wedding fifteen minutes and declared the rain would stop! 15 minutes later her team had gotten everyone to wipe down the seats and the sun came out and the wedding was amazing.
In just the few short months she had helped us plan an exquisite wedding. I really didn't have to do anything! Her attention to detail, eye for décor, her meticulous work on all the paper products and her knowledge of the business are invaluable and her friendship, kindness and support during this worrisome and hectic time was so appreciated! Her team worked throughout the wedding to make sure our every wish was fulfilled.
You cannot go wrong with Added Touches! In fact you really can't do it as well without them! Thanks with all our hearts for such a beautiful day Terry!!!!

Terry Larkin and her team were truly a joy to work with! We just had a wedding at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards and she truly helped make it the most memorable weekend of our lives. She worked with me for months on every detail of the wedding and was so on top of the ball. All of her thoughts, efforts, and advice truly helped make it the fairy tale wedding any girl could dream of. Even with a slight onset of rain in the forecast her and her team were ready at the drop of a hat for anything :)! The bridal suite was all ready with her "Marry Poppins Bag", never ending and full of anything you could ever need. Added Touches did an amazing job on our print items, wedding planing, and day of coordination. I couldn't imagine anything else looking better than what she did. Truly our invitations, table numbers, escort posters, etc. were amazing and gave our wedding that something special ....or that "added TOUCH" :) ! I would highly recommend using Added Touches they made it perfect!

Terry attended to EVERYTHING so our families could truly ENJOY the wedding, reception & entire weekend. If you are lucky enough to meet her and listen to her presentation, you will discover that you can not plan your wedding without her.

Where do I begin with Terry? From our first meeting she was warm, patient, welcoming, and helped guide me through the process of selecting and narrowing down a color theme, and detailing everything from the menus to the place cards, escort posters, programs, invitations, welcome bags, etc. Prior to meeting with Terry, I had a rough idea in mind of design, but was overwhelmed with where to begin. Terry was able to shape the idea and come up with something entirely unique and even more amazing than I could have imagined. She truly creates and tailors her beautiful designs to reflect each individual couple's big day, down to the specific font. We received SO many compliments on the invitations, and the other items truly added the biggest aesthetic quality to the wedding decorations.

In addition to the incredible high quality of work, Terry was more than accommodating when outlining and discussing budget, and was always quickly responsive in communication, even with my (numerous!) emails. Although we had hired a day of coordinator prior to first meeting Terry, she was like a surrogate planner, offering wonderful advice, answering (again, my numerous!) questions, and contacting me way in advance with any deadlines for guests' names, table #s, etc.

I didn't realize how must of an impact Terry's "added touches" would make- this honestly was the best decision we made of our entire wedding!!

I can say with certainty that my daughter's wedding day would not have been as organized and elegant without their beautiful work. We received many, many compliments on the invitations; they were unlike anything anyone had received – ever. Beautiful, unique, gorgeous - were some of the word used by our guests. In so many ways, the beauty and uniqueness helped our other vendors understand what my daughter was trying to achieve and they eagerly rose to match the standard set by added TOUCHES. I am forever grateful to Terry - the stress of planning this big event was considerably lessened because of her patience and steady guidance. The invitations, menus, place cards, escort board - everything was beautifully done and exactly as promised.
On the business side - there were no surprises. Terry explained everything very clearly from conception to final product. We were given an estimate and the totals on our contract when finally drawn up - matched exactly. Everything was delivered "on time" - and thanks to Terry's guidance - we had ample time to make changes along the way. She gave us plenty of time to review drafts of the products. Excellent service, excellent professionalism - start to finish.

We first hired Terry Larkin to create our wedding invitations. We sat down with Terry and customized the most amazing wedding invitations. Why stop there??!! We then contracted Terry to design all of our paper products to include save the dates, programs, menus, table numbers and a escort poster. We could not have been more pleased. Still today all of our guests talk about our wedding invitatios and how it was one of the best they have seen. We also contracted Terry as the day of Wedding Coordinator. What a Godsend Terry was. One week before my wedding my job sent me away on a week conference. Thanks to Terry I felt real good about being away. Terry and I met to go over a timeline that helped keep everyone on task. We used Added Touches services provided by Terry Larkin for all of our paperware for our wedding on August 1, 2015. Terry designed a beautiful invitation that totally "wowed" our guests. The invitation was elegant, very detailed and organized. Terry also designed our event posters, hotel guest bags, place cards, menu cards, worship aid booklets for our church ceremony, and even a parking sign to help guide guests to a parking lot we contracted that was used for guest parking during our church ceremony! We also contracted with Terry to be our Day-Of Coordinator. Terry did a wonderful job coordinating our wedding day including a very detailed timeline. We were able to really enjoy our wedding day because of all of Terry's efforts. No task was too small!! When you think of the day of your daughters wedding the two of you you may have a certain design or vision in your mind. Terry helped bring that vision to reality. Terry was hands down, my most favorite wedding find! I was so incredibly stressed about my invitations after searching through various other vendors, etsy, online companies, etc. I found myself in tears several times because the options for invitations are so overwhelming. As soon as I stepped into her house, all of my stress dissipated. All of her items are custom made, she listened to what my wedding vision was, showed me some of her past work, and was able to create the most beautiful wedding invitations that I have ever seen. I heard nothing but positive feedback from my guests. The invitations are uniqure, beautiful, sturdy, neat, detailed, easy to put back together, and really set the tone for our wedding. Terry did everything from create the image, cut the paper, glue the different layers together, address the envelopes, and even stamped the RSVP envelope! I also ordered my place cards, escort poster, and table numbers from her and then rented a few other wedding décor items (charger plates which were an incredibly reasonable cost compared to other rental companies, and my escort poster frame). She pulled the theme of my wedding together so everything flowed beautifully. Terry is so knowledgeable about wedding planning and knows so many tips/tricks. I felt like I was able to absorb her knowledge each time I visited with her! She is easy to communicate with, responds quickly to emails, and is so welcoming. I have recommended her to anyone who will listen to me. From start to finish, she was a class act. Do yourself a favor and get in touch with her for all of your stationery needs!!

Thank God for Mrs. Terry Larkin. She is the sweetest, most talented woman in the industry and the least stressful part of our wedding planning. You can tell she truly loves what she does!

I will say that originally my husband and I were going to figure out how to do the invitations and paper products ourselves; however, once we met Terry and saw the beautiful work she could do, we were sold. And boy did we do ourselves a favor. As soon as we put Terry in charge, we felt relieved and calm. She is an expert on etiquette and format, thus we didn't need to worry about ANY of that! Everything came together beautifully with her added touches.

Terry creates a unique design and color palette for each of her customers, so no two weddings turn out alike! We had an incredibly complex situation and she was able to add in all of the little details to our invitations and inserts. We also had Terry create absolutely gorgeous matching hotel bags, welcome notes, programs, place cards, escort cards, bar signs, and menus. I can honestly say that almost every guest commented on what an elegant tone Terry's work set for our wedding. After invitations went out we received calls from friends and family ecstatic about "SUCH BEAUTIFUL INVITATIONS!"

I know some people will say that it is unnecessary to spend money on invitations and paper products, but Terry's work was worth every single penny. She provided our wedding with just the theme we were looking for and she worked within our budget. Every single thing she did added something magnificent and beautiful. You will NOT regret including Added Touches in your wedding plans. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being the talented woman you are!

Added Touches did an absolutely fabulous job in designing and creating all the paper goods for my daughter's wedding, which took place on May 31, 2014, at the Cadet Chapel of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. The reception was held at the historic Hotel Thayer. Terry Larkin, the owner of Added Touches, was AWESOME to work with and designed for us a very complex wedding invitation, which was necessary because of all the military rules and regulations and our complicated transportation arrangements. We could not have done this without her. She also designed and made over 50 hotel bags, 200 escort and place cards, table numbers, menus, and fan programs, all very formal and lovely! We have received so many wonderful comments from our guests! I worked so closely with Terry for a couple of months that I feel that she is more than a business we chose to work with, but a friend who kept me grounded and on track to make my daughter's wedding one that people will talk about for years to come. Terry Larkin was recommended to my mother and I by a family friend who had utilized her services for her own daughter's wedding. Terry is kind, warm, professional, and incredibly thorough throughout the whole planning process. Her invitations are absolutely gorgeous and unlike any I've ever seen- guests are still commenting on how beautifully they turned out. When the big day came, Terry attended the rehearsal at the church, fully prepared with a day of timeline for the wedding party and close family, and went over each step of the next day in full detail. Her reminders of keeping calm throughout the day were nice, as it was such a relief to have a third party directing the show.

Not only did Terry do our invitations, but she did the programs, escort list, table numbers and names, and thank you notes. They all turned out wonderfully, and will be preserved for our wedding album as they really were quite exceptional. She has great ideas and many different varieties of styles, and really put a wonderful final touch on things.

In all honesty, Terry put both my mother and I at complete ease as we knew she had every last detail covered, and we didn't have to worry about next steps, who was where, etc. I really can't thank Terry enough for her exceptional service (and invitations, etc.!).

Terry was by far my favorite vendor we hired during the whole wedding process. I honestly don't know what we would've done without her. She did my invitations, programs, seating chart (i gave her a wooden frame and she had the chart mounted for me), gift bags for the hotel and kept me on track with everything the entire time. She knows everything possible that goes into a wedding that I would've known nothing about had I not met her. I told her I couldn't find a cake topper with an "h" and an easel that would match our wooden frame and she wrote me back in 5 mins with links to both that I purchased for our wedding. Also, my mother in law used her for our Nationals baseball themed rehearsal dinner where she did table numbers that looked like the jersey numbers, our seating chart and even the meal card we sent out with our rehearsal dinner invite. When I went to her home to pick everything up, she had everything organized perfectly and I couldn't believe how amazing everything looked.

I loved that she always responded immediately and didn't print anything off until I had initialed it. She has two daughters of her own so she knows how important this special day is for all of us and she genuinely enjoys what she does. She is definitely worth the money, do not go to Dandelion Patch or any of those places... You won't get this individual attention and service that Terry will give you and you will end up spending so much more money!

Terry did my Wedding Invitations/Paperware and provided Day of Coordination services as well and is simply the best. I met Terry at a Bridal Showcase and instantly felt comfortable with her. Over the next few months we met several times as she worked on our invitations and made the vision for our wedding come to life. Terry designed multiple sample invitations to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Once we finalized our invitations she helped us design our Save the Dates and additional Wedding Paperware (programs, table numbers, place cards, etc.) so that it was all cohesive.

Terry also provided Day of Coordination services and was simply fantastic. She not only took care of everything on the day of our wedding but stepped in throughout the wedding planning process to help coordinate with vendors, visit the venue, finalize the timeline, run the rehearsal and keep us calm, relaxed, excited and most importantly, stress free. Terry made sure everything ran smoothly from working with the venue to make sure everything was perfect to helping pack cars at the end of the reception; she was literally there every step of the way. She even drove out of her way a few days after the wedding when we realized we had left the top tier of the cake in Charlottesville!

Any bride would be lucky to work with Terry as she truly goes the extra mile for her brides. Her Wedding Invitations/Paperware are of the highest quality, well designed and personalized so no two brides will ever have exactly the same thing. Her Day of Coordination saved my family, my bridal party and our vendors from last minute worries, allowing us to truly enjoy the weekend. She is warm, welcoming, accommodating, and professional and detail oriented.

Terry did a fantastic job on all of my paperwork. She did the invites, the programs, the escort board, the menu, the name cards, and the thank you cards. I received many compliments on how classy they were and many people wrote back on the response cards that my invites for beautiful. Every thing flowed and Terry was extremely professional. Even though she is a very busy lady, she was always prompt in responding back to emails and everything was delivered by the time she said they would be.

Terry Larkin was a great wedding planner and I highly recommend her to everyone trying to plan a wedding. I lived out of state, so trying to plan a wedding was getting to be too much. She knows all tricks to the trade and is very experienced in the wedding world. Even the smallest things you would have never thought of, she knows. Terry also did all my invitations and paperwork, which was amazing. She really listens to what you want and does whatever she can to make it happen. You can definitely tell she loves what she does, and makes sure you're just as happy!

Terry Larkin gave me peace of mind. I was doing the majority of the planning for my daughter since she lives out of state, so having Terry was a must. She kept us on track budget and time wise. She provided referrals for everything: DJ, photographer, flowers, hair stylist.... She attended all important meetings with me at the hotel and the florist. She gave her expert advice when it came to lighting and decor, bridal attire, music, pictures, and paperwork. Her invitations were stunning, and we received so many compliments on them, as well as on the ceremony program, the menu, and the escort cards. Everything was beautifully set at the event. It was simply perfect. She captured not only the beauty and elegance of the bride, but also the grandeur and sophistication of her Marine Corps husband. We could not have been happier with anyone else to assist us!

Terry Larkin of Added Touches made our dream day possible. I've known Terry since high school and after she did a wedding of a friend, I knew instantly I wanted to use her services to help throughout my engagement. Terry designed our invitations and other paperware to include programs and misc. day of items. They were absolutely gorgeous and I am still receiving compliments. Terry also acted as my day of coordinator and we don't know what we would have done without her. The promptness, thoughtfulness and organization skills she possesses far surpasses any bride's wishes. I thought I was an the ball but thanks to Terry, every step of the way was implemented without stress. She was able to help answer my weekly (and daily) questions, provide suggestions, research ideas and contact vendors and be my main point of contact for all vendors to help make the day run as smoothly as possible; and that it did. Due to a personal emergency, my photographer found out the week of the wedding he was unable to shoot and Terry provided me a full list and had us confirmed with 3 backup photographers by the end of the evening. This is just a small example of Terry's dedication. She is so passionate to each one of her brides and I will miss working with her. I highly recommend Terry Larkin of Added Touches to anyone looking for outstanding services, value and professionalism.

Terry was invaluable in helping me plan and pull off my wedding. It was just dumb luck that she is a family friend. I had so many compliments on the invitations, menus and cards, but I honestly had no idea how much I would end up relying on her for so many other aspects of my wedding - from food choices, to day of planning and flowers. She also did invitations for my best friend, and I would recommend her to anyone. Her experience and organization was so helpful, even when I just needed an opinion of one of the 3,000 decisions I had to make! She helped make my wedding so special, and even helped keep everyones eye on the end goal - an awesome wedding!

Terry of Added Touches is absolutely amazing! She made my fairy tale wedding come to life. From day one, she helped guide me through the ever so stressful parts of wedding planning. She was always there when I needed her, and by that I mean for all my 1000 questions and worries. She certainly knows the logistics and details of weddings inside and out. She offered me vendor names for all of my needs; she even came with me to meet most of my vendors. Terry took care of all the contracts and even helped me negotiate get great deals with them! She also took care tipping the vendors on the wedding night so that my father could enjoy his time and really take the entire experience in. Her creativity really came through when she designed my invitations, save the dates, will you be my bridesmaid cards, and the hotel bags. She was flexible and made whatever changes I wanted right away. She did a great job at keeping the theme going throughout the whole wedding. She will go above and beyond to make sure they all look beautiful and perfect! Till this day I still get compliments on my invitations! I couldn’t express to you how much she helped my family and I get through the wedding planning process. She made the entire day-of run smoothly and had everything organized! Terry even has an inventory of items and decorations that add great touch to any wedding. She became a friend through the whole process and still remains close to my family and me. I had a vision in mind for my invitations and Terry brought my vision to life, my invitations turned out SO beautiful, not to mention how many compliments we received from our guests about how amazing they were. Terry also did my programs for me and those turned out just as fabulous as the invitations. Terry was a huge help for my wedding - we developed a theme from the start and incorporated it into everything we did for the wedding. I was able to be involved as much or as little as I wanted to. She really helped my vision come to life from start to finish and also helped recommend great vendors (DJ, flowers, venue, etc). Terry will give you a "timeline" of everything you need to know/accomplish leading up to the wedding to keep you organized. She will also be there the day of so that you won't have to worry about anything else but enjoying your special day!

Terry's attention to detail is amazing! This includes every detail: she listens to the bride's vision of her wedding, and turns that vision into a stunning reality, while ever-thoughtful of the bride's budget! I found added Touches through one of my friends who was also getting married. Terry created my save the dates, invitations, placecards, ceremony programs, welcome giftbags, menus and she was also my wedding planner. Terry created invitiations for our wedding that were described by one of our guests as "the most beautiful and elegant invitation that they have ever seen". In regards to hiring Terry as our wedding planner, she made my wedding day the best day of my life. She made sure that every detail was covered and she created a wedding that was so fun and special that guests are still talking about it. She was responsive, fun to work with and professional. My husband and I will always be greatful that we hired Terry because she truly did go above and beyond.

The best decision we made was hiring added Touches! We started with invitations and were so thrilled with them that we fired our wedding planner so we could hire added Touches to replace them. From that moment on, planning my daughter's wedding became fun again. Instead of telling my daughter her ideas wouldn't work, added Touches embraced them and found a way for them to all work. Terry of AddedTouches was phenomenal- she was extremely professional, prompt, thorough, positive, and always had unique ideas to make our day special and reflective of us. At first I was rather hesitant to work with a wedding planner, but after the first meeting, we had already decided she would help with all planning, day-of coordination, invitations, save the dates, and paper products for the wedding! She was always full of ideas, open to our ideas, and always asking if she could help more. Because she did so much for us, I want to address all parts separately:

Save the dates/invitations/wedding and ceremony paper products: First of all, she made them all by hand with her own “added touches”. Everyone LOVED the save the dates and invitations. She knew I did not want lots of loose papers in the invitation so she created the perfect presentation with a beautiful hand-tied bow to keep everything from floating around. The programs for the ceremony were STUNNING- everything she did kept to our same flowered theme and colors. I cannot begin to rave about the unique framed seating chart she made, table cards with pictures, name cards, wine descriptions, menus, and her own additions to the beautiful paper products that brought everything together on our wedding day. She even personalized our welcome bags and helped us decide what should go in them. It was honestly those touches and her amazing day-of coordination that made everything that much more special and memorable to our guests.

Coordination: I could not have imagined anyone better to coordinate our wedding. We lived about two hours away from Northern VA and she was always willing to meet on the days we were in town to make our lives easier. She kept us on track and focused on what needed to be done without ever being pushy. We were moving and planning an out-of-state move, and she was always prompt in answering our e-mails, questions, and explaining what needed to be done by when. Although I was very organized, she reminded me of the details (tips for vendors, notes for guests) and kept me stress-free the week leading up to the wedding. I cannot emphasize that she was THE BEST day-of coordinator I could have ever dreamed. She made everything run perfectly, always consistent with what we planned, and I never worried about anything! When the curls were falling out of my hair by the time of the reception, she brought me her own curler and hairspray to fix it! She made sure guests moved from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing with ease and made sure all vendors were coordinated perfectly. I never ONCE worried about anything and any time I looked around, it was exactly as I had hoped. We left for our honeymoon the next morning, and she went the extra mile to drop off keepsakes from the wedding at my parent’s house for us after we left. I would recommend Terry of AddedTouches to anyone without any hesitation. She’s the best!

Terry basically saved my wedding! My mom and I were so confused as to how we were going to get everything done, so we met with Terry and we found the answer. Every single detail of my wedding was perfected by her, from the invitations to the place cards, menus, and guest welcome bags. She also served as my event coordinator and really helped me to get organized for the day, making sure everything was perfect. Terry is extremely creative and constantly thinking of new ideas. She will work tirelessly to make sure you get exactly what you want on your wedding day. It is so worth it to have those extra special touches added to the day, our guests were all really impressed and I am still getting tons of compliments. Our wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was without Terry.

Terry from added Touches was my life saver! She made my daughter’s vision for her wedding a reality. Terry was able to take the gossamer that was my daughter’s ideas and bring them to life. Terry turned an ordinary monogrammed invitation into an elegant theme for the wedding. Terry fashioned everything from the invitations to the ceremony programs, escort cards, place cards, menus and the sweetest welcome bags, all of our guest commented on the added Touches that were so reflective of my daughter and her new husband. My daughter could not have been more pleased to work with Terry. Terry really listened to what the couple wanted for their day.
Terry also became our planner and go to gal on just about everything! She made sure our event moved seamlessly throughout the day. She handled all of the last minute problems and freed me up to truly enjoy the day. Terry’s eye for detail was exactly what we needed when planning the fine points for the church and reception, she helped make sure that everything was perfect. From the first glimpse of the bride getting ready to the send-off of the happy couple, Terry made sure that nothing was missed. She was irreplaceable to say the least, and I know the event would not have been so successful without her. Our family and friends said they had never seen a wedding quite like this one. I know what made it unique were all of Terry’s added Touches!

Terry’s specialty really is adding the beautiful added touches to your event. She did our wedding invitations for our May wedding and did a wonderful job. The invitations came out better than I could have imagined. We had three sessions in planning the invitations. The first meeting she discussed with me what I wanted and showed me sample colors and patterns. The second meeting she presented me with 3 sample invitations to choose from. All three were beautiful and it made it hard to choose. Finally, the third meeting was for the big reveal and to pick up my completed invitations. Terry is very knowledgeable about wedding planning and etiquette, throughout the planning process she offered helpful suggestions and was available to answer questions in a timely manner. Each invitation came completely finished – from the insert cards to the addresses printed on the envelopes. All I had to do was mail them! Terry really listened to what I wanted and created my dream shabby-chic wedding invitations. Terry provided all of the wedding communications from "save the date" cards to "thank you" note cards. All were designed around a theme which was integrated throughout the product. A "Touch" of class is an understatement. We received multiple compliments with regard to the wedding invitations, programs and table cards which were all designed uniquely for our wedding.

Terry also was retained as our wedding planner and "Day Of" Coordinator. She will not be your best friend during the process, BUT it was a GREAT feeling to realize that final week before the wedding, that every detail had been addressed and reworked. And when the wedding ceremony flowed seamlessly to the reception and the reception flowed seamlessly to the final dance, you are going to say to yourself this was a GREAT wedding and that is when you will look over at Terry, who will be standing quietly to the side of the room still watching to ensure the evening finished off to perfection... and you are going to say, this was the smartest decision I will have every made. AND it was.

Highly personalized product and service

Terry is highly organized with a good eye for this work. She was able to articulate what invitation elements I wanted based on very general feedback from me, and was able to tactfully offer her opinion when I needed additional direction. Since she also offers wedding coordination services, she was able to give good suggestions on what type of information to include and what quantities to order. Being able to have the invitations, programs, table numbers, etc. all carry the same design theme helped to create a cohesive feel to the event. I received many compliments from guests regarding the invitations.

My invitations were gorgeous and personal to exactly what I wanted. She also did all my paper ware and they were done just as well. She made my wedding colors flow through out any of the stuff, which was something I loved. She was my day of coordinator as well and wow, my wedding day I was relaxed, so was my mom. She is great at her job and thinks of everything!

It was a pleasure to work with Terry. She was always very pleasant and proffessional. We hired Terry a few months into our planning so she was not involved with vendor choices and budget. But her involvment in the few months prior to the wedding were very helpful, she is very detail oriented and takes great pride in her work. We purchased all of the wedding invitations and stationery from her as well as some decorating items. My daughter and I have received countless compliments on all of the items. Her day of coordination was fabulous, I enjoyed the day and left all responsibilities to her. Terry also joined us for rehersal dinner, she gave a very nice (but stearn) speech to the wedding party concerning their responsibilities and obligations to the bride and groom for the wedding day. She took pictures for me at the rehersal dinner and also went to my daughters home the next morning to get pictures of my daughter getting ready. I was not able to be there so the pictures are a treasured keepsake for me. Terry is a true proffessional, on the wedding day it was like having someone you could completely rely on but at the same time gave you the comfort of family friend.

Terry was nice to work with. She responded quickly and did a great job. If you are looking for quality, her work is beautiful! I do agree it set the tone of our wedding. Both myself, my husband, and my parents were happy.

There was one quirk which made me lose sleep (not exaggerating). I'd encourage other clients to get CLEAR timelines of printing dates. I had an A list and a B list. The B list invitations were printed at the same time of the A list batch, thus we were left with 30 extra invitations which is A LOT of wasted money and paper. Considering we were on a strict budget we could have used those several hundred dollars on a couple other things. We wanted to hire locally and were impressed with Terry, but we were a little turned off by that. Luckily she was willing to complimentarily print out place-cards (our guest names on a small piece of paper) to match our wedding invites. That was a nice gesture despite it probably only covering 1/10 of what we lost. Overall, get specific! Very specific! ... And enjoy your beautiful invitations :)
