Absolutely Delicious 5 stars!

Nidia and the whole Absolutely Delicious crew were amazing. They were so kind when I had to post-pone one year due to COVID-19 - the quality of food is excellent. My. guests couldn't stop raving about the quality of the cuts of steak used etc. Amazing, would recommend 100x!!! My wedding planner Nicolette of Chic Concepts and the McNay Art. Museum recommended Absolutely Delicious to me.

Could not have asked for anything better!

ADC did my daughters catering for her wedding. Gina with ADC was easy to work with, extremely responsive in answering questions and making us feel confident in our choice. We had roughly 175 guest. We selected a plated menu. The meal was hot and my husband and received compliments all night on how great the food was. The food servers were friendly and great to work with. Set up for the event was timely and we had no issues. If you are trying to decide on a caterer I would highly recommend ADC. You or your guest will not be disappointed. Thank you Gina and your staff for helping make our daughter and husband the absolute best night!

wedding caterer

It has been a month since my wedding and the one thing everyone has complemented us on over and over again was the food and I completely agree! We had an out of town wedding so we really wanted to emphasize having a delicious meal for our guest and ADC absolutely surpassed everyone’s expectations! ADC was so helpful and easy to work with from the tasting and deciding the menu, to the wedding day and all the staff that made sure everyone was taken care of. For the horderves we chose beef steak with chimichurri sauce, bacon wrapped chicken, and spinach dip on a crostini and I have to say I will forever dream about these items. Not only was the appetizers and food amazing in flavor but the presentation was beautiful and beyond expectation! I could not recommend Absolutely Delicious Catering enough!

Delicious, amazing & perfect vendor!

Absolutely Delicious Catering truly lives up to their name. Not in just their food but their service as well. From Day 1 of inquiry through pandemic rescheduling to the very end, they couldn't have been more attentive and perfect. Their food is unbelievably tasty, so good we had a hard time deciding what to choose for our big day since we loved it all. Their team went above and beyond for our guests on our wedding day and even made sure to come speak to me, the bride and groom, to make sure we were ok or needed anything. Our guests are still talking about the food - its been a week! Nothing but good things like how flavorful everything was, how juicy the chicken was and how the food was the perfect temperature upon arrival. We had such a wonderful experience and I'm so blessed. Book for your next event you won't regret it!

Name says it all

While most people will joke that you never really get to eat on your wedding day, I know that the food I left on my plate unintentionally was delicious. We got to taste the menu ofcourse well ahead of the big day, so naturally I was looking forward to it. Heck, I even ordered the chicken and the steak option! Between all the excitement I had a few bites of our delicious meal and then was up and hanging out. I assure you though that we had tons and tons of compliments on the food both that night and for days to come from our guests and the service on the day of was nothing other than top notch.

Abolutely Delicious you're the BEST!

Absolutely Delicious Catering did an outstanding job catering our daughters wedding of 250 guests. My wife and I were extremely happy with Absolutely Delicious from start to finish. Our catering coordinator Gina Salazar was friendly, courteous and professional. Her presentation as well as the food during our taste testing appointment was hands down much better than the other 2 caterers we gave an opportunity to earn our business. We have had two other weddings catered and both were excellent. I am happy to say, Absolutely Delicious was without a doubt the best of the three.
Gavino and his team were flawless in delivering exceptional service to the wedding party and all the guests. The Chefs prepared food that was just that, "Absolutely Delicious." The 4 hors d'oeurvres and duet entrees of Filet Topped with a Shitaki Mushroom Sauce and Chicken Picatta were all amazingly delicious and cooked to perfection. The Wait Staff and Chefs knocked it out of the park, it was a Grand Slam! The Wedding was a total success and Absolutely Delicious was a big part of it. We definitely made the right choice choosing Absolutely Delicious to cater our daughter's wedding. Thank you, Thank you & Thank you Absolutely Delicious!

Great Experience.

I had a great experience with Absolutely Delicious Catering. They are affordable and they are consistent. They work with your needs. My account manager Gina was amazing. Not only did it feel like I was talking to a friend at the initial food tasting, throughout the process she was professional and easy to get a hold of. She always answered all of my questions whether it was by email or by phone. Their work is also very consistent. What I tasted as the food tasting is what I had for dinner. We had an open bar and all of my guests were pleased with their service. My husband really liked the service of the bartenders. I would recommend ADC to anyone planning an event.

Beautiful wedding!!

We got married October 27th, 2018. Our first time we went to look at the venue. Gina Salazar took care of us. Gina was always so responsive and took care of our needs. Also Nydia is such an amazing sweet lady. We definitely recommend The Old San Francisco Steakhouse. Not only is it beautiful everyone is so friendly. All of our guest loved the look of the crystal room so much.

Very professional and delicious food.

My experience with ACD was absolutely amazing. They catered for my daughter's wedding and they were very professional, responsive to every email and/or concern, they were very accommodating and their input was valuable to help us make decisions. I would definitely book ACD for any future events. Not to mention their food was delicious. Many compliments from our guests about the food.

The food was outstanding!! Very professional staff. They were on top of everything before I could ask! Highly recommend for brunch. We had a French toast casserole & biscuit bar that was to die for!!

Guests could not stop talking about the delicious food! They were spot on with the food and service!
The wait staff were super cool and professional too!
An additional perk they had was a special where they let us use whatever linens we wanted if we booked within a certain time frame. They allowed me to go crazy with the colors I requested and they were so much fun!

Absolutely PERFECT! We worked with Gina Salazar who was so incredibly helpful. We called and even though our wedding day was already fully booked, Absolutely Delicious Catering made an exception and was able to cater our special day. We chose them because of outstanding recommendations from friends and our venue. Throughout the planning process, Gina answered my endless questions and was extremely helpful in guiding us through our timeline and recommending portions. They also went above and beyond while coordinating our cake cutting and also our late night pizza delivery! On top of that, they lent us their cake cutting utensils and offered chargers for free.
Our tasting was delicious and ADC was able to accommodate our tight schedule and let us re-try one dish. ADC also helped with the wording on our wedding menus to make sure we had it right. Top notch!

On the day of our wedding, the serving staff was exceptional and were very helpful and respectful of all of our guests. Even better, they didn’t clear drinks away too soon which was a concern for us. One of the waiters even had a break dance off with the guests – big hit! The BEST part was that numerous guests told us that our food was “the best wedding food they had ever had!”

We highly recommend Absolutely Delicious Catering – it was a no brainer for us and they were exceptional!

We had the filet mignon, salmon with salsa, and the stuffed portobello mushrooms as our entree selections with a side of rosemary potatoes and green bean amondine. For appetizers we had the tequila shrimp brochettes, artichoke crostinis, pulled pork nachos, and empanadas. Highly recommend all of those! The three entrees were stellar and I think the top two favorite apps from our guests were the tequila shrimp brochettes and the artichoke crostinis!

ADC is an absolute MUST for your next San Antonio wedding or big event. I was absolutely blown away from every encounter I had with this company. Meeting with the Sales Executive, Gina, was an absolute treat from the start. I submitted an online request for a quote and got a personal phone call a few hours later. Gina and her team were hands-down the most organized vendor I worked with and helped me stay stress-free during my wedding planning process.

After our initial meeting in person, most of our correspondence was over email because I live out of town. Gina typically responded to my very detailed questions in a matter of hours! She also kept meticulous records of our payments by sending us a receipt and balance sheet. In addition to this, Gina has impeccable taste. She was very familiar with our venue (Southwest School of Arts) and knew exactly how many tables to recommend, what kind of linens to place on tables, etc. (Our table/chairs/linen rentals came entirely from ADC...they managed almost our entire wedding which was important to me because I had one large company to coordinate with and their setup on the day-of-wedding was seamless.)

Not only did I get so many compliments about the food, but their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. First, the waiters made sure to bring appetizers out to the bridal/groom party while we were taking our formal pictures so our wedding party did not go hungry. Second, the events manager for our reception was EXCEPTIONAL. He made sure to save a special appetizer plate and put it in front of our seats so the groom and myself could enjoy. Second, the events manager made us delicious plates to-go that he put in our car when we left...this included slices of cake!! He gave the remaining/leftover food in big platters to my grandparents and family at the conclusion of the night. So thoughtful!!

You should strongly consider ADC for your future event in the SA area!

My whole entire family loved them!! They catered our daughters quinceanera and also provided us with bar service. We were kind of hesitant at first having the bar at the quinceanera but they did a wonderful job servicing both adults and teenagers. Our guest left knowing the bartenders on a first name bases(Cliff & Roxanne). Gabino was great at attending mine and my husbands needs, as to following the timeline for the cake cutting & serving and also preparing our glasses for the toast and just coming to us to make sure we did not need anything or if there was not something else they needed to do. Nothing was to much to ask of them. All tables were picked up in a timely manner throughout the night, which I like because it made the tables look clean & clear all night. My guest were served their food in a timely manner and refills on beverages were continuously served to them. We had many compliments from our guest about the food & service their staff provided all night. We would definitely recommend them again.

What can I say about Absolutely Delicious other and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Nidia was a dream to work with. She and her team were amazing and the day of, my food was perfect. I could not have asked for better food or service. When we went for testing, the portion sizes we tried were exactly the same the day of my wedding. I went with a duet plate with au gratin potatoes and mixed veggies. I was able to pick which veggies I wanted which was great! I had a wonderful salad and since some of my guest have food allergies, they took into consideration their needs and addressed them accordingly. I had 3 hors d'oeuvres which included an artichoke on a thin crispy baguette, prosciutto and grapes drizzled with balsamic on a thin crispy baguette, and butternut squash shooter with a tiny grilled goat cheese sandwich on top. IT WAS AMAZING! They treated us so amazingly well. They brought us our own hors d'oeuvres since we weren't able to have any. You will not be disappointed if you go with them.

From the beginning of our wedding planning process right up until the very end, Absolutely Delicious went above and beyond in every aspect!!! Gina was beyond helpful throughout our entire process. It was truly refreshing to work with someone so accommodating, nice, and professional. The wedding planning process can be stressful however when you work with a vendor who does everything to make the process easier, it helps in more ways than one. Gina was flexible with what we wanted and she truly took her time with helping us without leaving anything out. Our tasting was great and the food was AMAZING. We still receive compliments from our guests regarding our food from our wedding which was almost a month ago. On the day of our wedding, Gambino and his team did such a great job as well. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Gambino spent most of his night making sure my husband and I had everything we needed from a beverage to making sure we ate our dinner. I honestly could not have asked for better service and a better caterer. We highly recommend Absolutely Delicious for any type of event. We know we will definitely use them in the future if we ever needed too!!!!

Their name says it all, Absolutely Delicious comes from family and love--and you can see that in the quality of the food that they produce and the staff that they inquire. The work ethics of the internal staff comes from the passion behind the owner. Veronica, has instilled her vision, and her love for catering into each one of her key staff members, and her drive shines through all her employees.
When searching for a caterer my biggest worry of having a sit-down dinner was eating a cold meal. They are one of two caterers in San Antonio that have multiple portable ovens; which allows them to never serve a cold plate. This was a huge relief to me as I have been to some weddings trying to muster up enough courage to chew the cold chicken.
I had the pleasure of working with Gina when booking the details of my wedding, and she then placed me in the hands of Rene. The two of them made sure that every detail was accounted for when ensuring a stress-free wedding. As a bride make sure that you have every detail in writing. Sometimes the wedding day buzz can catch up to you, and small details may be left out. There were some things that I thought I had discussed during our walk thru, but on the day of my thoughts were overlooked. Regardless, my guests raved about the food and the service! From cocktail hour, all the way to breaking down the venue, everything was Absolutely Delicious!

ADC did an incredible job at our 2016 Free to Soar Gala benefiting Morgan's Wonderland. They served 600 superb meals and all of our guests were pleased! You can depend on their professionalism and attention to detail to execute a flawless event! We will be using them again.

You could NEVER go wrong with Absolutely Delicious Catering. The food is delicious and the presentation a delight, but the service is beyond belief. We loved Absolutely Delicious from the beginning! We spoke with other caterers but just kept coming back to the same answer; Nidia at Absolutely Delicious! She had answers to every challenge we presented and she felt very secure in making strong recommendations in areas that she knew were perfect for our venue and for our style and budget. We needed leadership and she gave it to us in that amazing "style" of hers! The service was flawless and the food was both delicious as well as beautifully presented! "Best Ever Wedding Meal" stated by every person that stopped to thank our family for such a great experience! Even my husband (who is the biggest food snob I know) said it was the best meal at a wedding or any event that he'd ever had!! THE CRYSTAL ROOM AT OLD SAN FRANCISCO STEAK HOUSE WAS THE PERFECT VENUE FOR MY DAUGHTER 'S WEDDING.
IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL, THE LARGE AIRY ROOM WITH ALL THE GLASS WINDOWS LOOKING OUT INTO THE ATRIUM, AND
THE BEAUTIFUL CHANDELIERS MAKE THE PLACE LOOK MAGICAL AT NIGHT.

I can't emphasize enough how wonderful Absolutely Delicious Catering was for our wedding!! Don't even look anywhere else! They were probably the easiest vendor we worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process and they really made sure all the details were taken care of (i.e. several special guest meals, preserved the top cake tier, and were so flexible with the last minute adjustments). I cannot thank Rene and Nidia enough for everything! Also, the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD good! On several occasions throughout the night, I heard, "That was the BEST wedding food I'd ever had!" Absolutely Delicious would be the only catering service I would hire for any other event. Unbelievable service, Nidia is just the best!!! My mom is super picky with the food and etiquette for an event, and they passed the test with 100.
For my wedding, which was on September 12, 2015, we had a salad, chicken with potatoes au gratin. I don't even know which kind of chicken was that, but everyone asked me who did it. It was amazing!!
The service was perfect and the best thing is that my wedding was for about 280 people. We were all eating at the same time, the same course.
Nidia speaks perfect Spanish and understands the client very well.
Me and my family highly recommend her.

Nos quedamos sorprendidos del excelente servicio que Absolutely Delicious nos proporcionó. La comida fue espectacular! Cuando eres de México, tu mayor miedo es que las cosas no salgan a la perfección de acuerdo a tu cultura, y con Nidia y su equipo, todo, absolutamente todo salió perfecto!
Todos mis invitados (280 aprox) comieron al mismo tiempo el mismo platillo, lo que significa que su organización fue perfecta. La calidad de los platillos fue excelente y la preocupación de Nidia porque nosotros estuviéramos contentos también fue muy buena.

Unbelievable quality. Everyone is still talking about how good the food was. Appetizers and dinner was far beyond catering type food. 5 star isn't high enough for absolutely delicious. They are in a league all of their own. Wouldn't talk to anyone but absolutely delicious.

Absolutely Delicious catering helped ensure our wedding day was perfect!! We chose to serve the champagne chicken and poblano chicken. Both entrees tasted amazing! The staff at Absolutely Delicious were great. They ensured everything ran smoothly and were able to cater a seated meal without arranged seating, which made things incredibly easy. Being from 300+ miles away, we needed a caterer who would work with us from a distance. Absolutely Delicious did a great job of keeping us informed and in touch. We could not have chosen a better caterer!!

I cannot imagine a better caterer - ever! Not only was the food out-of-this-world good but the service was unbelievable. From planning to presentation, the professionalism and attention to detail was unsurpassed. Two months later, people are still taking time to complement the chef!

Amazing service! All the servers were very professional and polite. The food is high end Restaurant quality. Guests kept saying thats the best food they've had at a wedding.

From the start, Absolutely Delicious far exceeded our hopes, dreams, and expectations. From the "tasting" to working through our budget and menu selections to the actual wedding celebration, we were THRILLED with our menu, service, attention to detail, affordability, flexibility, and the FOOD! The steak meal we contracted for was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Our friends and family are still talking about how delicious the food was. The truffle macaroni and cheese was a huge hit! The Absolutely Delicious employee supervising our wedding reception was frequently checking on us to see if we needed anything. The waitstaff was professional and courteous. We were thrilled with our service and our "product"! We are grateful that Absolutely Delicious helped to make our wedding reception a memorable one! THANK YOU Absolutely Delicious!

This is a wonderful caterer. The food was delicious and the team had impeccable attention to detail. They were extremely flexible! A downpour happened just as the wedding party was cued for the processional to the river garden. All the guests ran for cover and we re-seated them indoors at the dining tables for the ceremony to take place out of the rain. I know we threw off their entire schedule to ice the glasses and pour water at the tables. They also relocated the bar indoors out of the rain. All in the blink of an eye with no disruption to our guests. Rene Guzman was our captain that evening and he did a superb job.

Loved working with Arturo! He is so fun and quick to respond! The food was delicious and our guests loves the food! Arturo checked with us during the event on timing of food service since we were running behind. I appreciated him checking in w us for decisions. He even brought us apps while we were taking our pics!!

The food and service was over the the top. They worked really hard to stay within our budget and still give me exactly what we wanted. The wait staff was kind and professional, and ready for each course. They worked fast so all my guest were able to eat at once instead of one table at a time. They really exceeded our expectations.

Aside from the AMAZING food, I was beyond impressed with Absolutely Delicious throughout my entire wedding planning process. Besides serving as my caterer, we also decided to get married at The Old San Francisco Steakhouse (which the operate out of), and we could not have been happier with their level of service, professionalism, and attentiveness. Planning a wedding can be stressful at times, and Arturo and the rest of the staff made sure we were taken of, from day one! I'm sure there are other good caterers in San Antonio, but these guys are truly THE BEST!! Thank you!!

Arturo was wonderful and provided what we needed. The neatest thing was serving the tamales as a snack towards the end of the night. The security people really enjoyed that. Also loved how the team help packed everything up at the end.

Art Menchaca with Absolutely Delicious was the best to work with. He listened to our ideas and planned the menu from there. He was not like some of the other caterers who tried to tell us what we did and didn't want. The food was not only beautifully displayed but tasted fabulous! Our friends and family all raved about how good the food was.

Absolutely Delicious is located in the Old San Francisco Steakhouse restaurant. The ceremony was held in the crystal room and the reception in the swing room. Arturo was fantastic and his staff was great. The atmosphere, service and food were beyond expectation. We could not have asked for a better event. With the swing girl, piano player, casino tables, DJ, and photo booth, all guests were well entertained.

I highly recommend Arturo and the Absolutely Delicious venue and staff for your event.

Absolutely Delicious Catering was awesome! "Art" was so easy to work with and talk to which made the whole event so less stressful! The appetizers & dinner were phenomenal! I received so many compliments from our guests at the wedding. The serving staff dressed & acted very professional and everything ran very smoothly and on time! I am glad we chose Absolutely Delicious Catering! Art Menchaca was a master at helping choose the meal for our day. His attention to detail is exceptional. I felt very comfortable talking and planning with him. He was readily available each time I needed to speak to him. His creative perspective and experience put me at ease. Absolutely Delicious Catering didn't dissapoint!
The serving staff was exceptional and very professional as well. The decorations that they provided with their catering was beautiful.
Our family and friends raved about the food that evening and mentioned it many times after! My husband and I were very happy. The food tasted delicious!!!

Absolutely Delicious was absolutely delicious! Veronica was so accomodating when it came to our tastings and wanted to make sure we loved every bit of the menu. My husband and I are vegetarians but most of our guests are not and she was kind enough to make us separates meals to try and decide what we wanted for the day of. And on the day of the staff was very friendly and treated us like we were royalty. Also, everyone at our wedding LOVED the food :)

The service and food was just spectacular. We rec'd so many positive comments from our guests about the caterer from wow they offered to go get us drinks from the bar to the food was amazing and so many compliments on even the rose tea. My daughter (the bride) said she got up & noticed her napkin fell & as soon as she turned back around it was already picked up & folded back on her chair. Gabino who was working our event asked me many times if there was anything we needed or if everything was ok. We were very concerned about having good/warm food and Absolutely Delicious just exceeded our expectations. The cost was comparable to other vendors we looked but without a doubt we received every bit of our money's worths.

The name says it all... Absolutely Delicious! The entire team is so friendly and extremely helpful! Veronica is phenomenal! She was so flexible with our menu and her and her team are willing to try anything you request without hesitation! The food was amazing and delicious on our wedding day, just as it was for our tasting! The staff/servers were very friendly and worked very hard to ensure everyone was happy with their plates. Absolutely Delicious cater our wedding, there presentation, quality and service is like no other, I participate on corporate events often and this is what I call 5 star service out side a prime hotel.

We felt this way from our fist meeting at our tasting. We went to 4 tastings and have to say, no cater even compares to there style and professionalism of this company. You defiantly get what you pay for.

Gabino and Veronica are 1st class, they both were on top of it. seeing my guest cater in this manner, just made my day. I have to say, the few extra $$$$ are absolutely worth it.

I picked Absolutely Delicious Catering based on an event I attended at which they were the caterer. The food was great and beautifully displayed, so I picked up a card. I called several different people for quotes, and very quickly felt that Absolutely Delicious would be the most attentive to me and most willing to work with me. Art was the person I worked with from the company. He was fabulous! He was willing to make whatever I wanted happen, kept me calm, and offered to be the "contact person" for the other vendors on the day of the event so that I could enjoy the event. I loved the decor he was able to create for me at our venue (he coordinated both the food and decoration rentals) and I have had so many compliments on both. I would and will totally use this group again!

I had a wonderful time working with Absolutely Delicious Catering, on my wedding I had gotten a proposal for a sit down dinner, something's happened and I had to settle for buffet, I was sad but still happy because the food is amazing. What happened next I will never forget, I had tears of happiness the caterer and my wedding coordinator surprised me with a sit down dinner on the day of my wedding!!! These people are amazing and made my event something that I will never forget.

Absolutely Delicious is wonderful!!! The rehersal dinner at the Chrystal Room was out of this world, the service, the food, the set up was all perfect. They also catered our daughter's wedding and it couldn't have been any better. The food was perfect the service exceptional. Nidia went above and beyond to help us in everyway she could to make sure that everything was perfect and that our event was a success. WOW!! the staff, food, and The Crystal Room were just out of this world for our wedding and I could not have been more happy even if I tried. We got sooooo many compliments on the food for the evening and I can't even describe how beautiful The Crystal Room is here. Rene and Nidia truly went over and beyond to make my dream wedding come true and it showed throughout the night. These 2 are a blessing to work with and you are in great hands.....Rene truly made every little detail so exquisite and executed wonderful. The staff for the night was incredible and my guests loved the venue, food, and layout of the place so much!!

Absolutely Delicious Catering did such an excellent job with our wedding! The food was so...Delicious!! :) Our guests enjoyed everything from the appetizers at cocktail hour to the awesome steak and chicken! Ivette and Gabino helped me before the wedding by meeting with us at the venue and sitting with us through a tasting. Gabino made sure all our details were flawless, and he was constantly making sure the guests had everything they needed and that they were enjoying themselves. He also made sure me and my husband had food upstairs before we were introduced (it sure was a nice energy boost before we greeted our guests)! I give Absolutely Delicious a stellar recommendation and I hope you decide to use them on your special day. You won't regret it!

Our experience was far different than last review. We had a seated dinner for 130 guests and the food was better than at the tasting! Quick service and everything we needed was provided. Pricing was great and included linen and tableware. Would highly recommend based on our experience.

I would first like to say that I am shocked at the negative reviews of this vendor. I am sorry that those brides had those experiences, but mine was nothing but AMAZING! I was blown away by the quality of service throughout the whole process. The salads were pre-set, so people were able to eat right away. I didn't want guests waiting, because I've been to so many weddings where guests are sitting forever to eat or standing in long buffet lines. I can't speak for everyone, but I know that the first thing I thought of when debating buffet over a plated meal, was the PRICE. ADC prices are extremely reasonable for both plated and buffet style dinners. Don't let the price fool you, the food is great! We had enough servers to pick up and deliver food to where guests got their plates around the same time. One side of the room wasn't done before the others were even served. Rene was our personal event coordinator (in addition to my own) that night and he made sure me and my husband were well taken care of. We never had to go searching for him, he was always around. They provide an event coordinator at each event and it's included in the price. MORE SAVINGS. As far as the flexibility, we had so many last minute changes that weren't a problem at all. And I love the fact that we didn't have to lock things in until 2 weeks prior. They even gave us some extra time to tie things down, because we hadn't received all our RSVPs yet.

We went with the Champagne chicken entree and not only was it delicious the price was fantastic! They were also super accommodating to little request my guest had and the presentation was beautiful. Art and the rest of the team at Absolutely Delicous were wonderful to work with. Whereas most other catering vendors I spoke with only offered generic wedding food fare, Art created menu options for my parents and I to choose from that were not only unique, but delicious as well. Art was very professional and responded very quickly to emails and phone calls from my dad throughout the planning process, and worked very well with our coordinator, even though Absolutely Delicious offers their own planning as well.

On the day of the wedding, I walked in to the reception room to find it transformed into the room I had envisioned and spoken with him about. The staff that day were accommodating and professional. I had forgotten that I needed to get bread and wine for my husband and I to take communion during the ceremony, and Art took care of it without breaking a sweat.

Often times you hear that the food at a reception is never as good as the food that was offered at the tasting, but at our wedding that was not the case. The guests were raving about both the hors d'oeuvres and the dinner, both of which were fresh and delicious. The catering staff even made sure the wedding party was served hors d'oeuvres while we were busy taking pictures. During the dinner hour, the staff made sure that my husband and I were well attended to, but not at the expense of the other guests.

I am absolutely satisfied with our catering choice, and my only wish is that I could have their raspberry lemonade infused with basil any time I wanted.

The only negative comment I do have is, the salads were put out too early and the guest did not eat. Salads were wasted. The salads were warm and wilted. The fruit and cheese trays should have been served first. Chris did address this issue and after every thing went very well.

Absolutely Delicious Catering is a rather presumptuous name for a caterer. Fortunately, they can back it up. We had hors d'oeuvres, a seated dinner with steak, chicken, and incredible veggies, and 8 servers. Guests didn't have to choose chicken or beef, so everyone was happy. We asked everyone what they thought of the meal and they all raved about it.

The service for the meal was equally as good. Everyone was not only prompt and polite, but the lead server was there hours early making sure we had everything we needed as we got ready.

We specifically worked with Nidia, who was amazing and patiently worked through some rescheduling issues we had along the way. The only downside is that she was so busy it was hard getting responses back on emails and office phone calls in a timely manner. Once we got her cell phone number, she never let us down, and I would recommend Nidia and Absolutely Delicious to anyone, no matter their budget.

My wedding was back in October so let's backtrack a bit...when my family and I went to the tasting, Gina was so accommodating and even set up extra plates for my nieces (who are harsh critics of food). In my opinion, the choices were a bit limited due to my event space (my parent's backyard). But the food was absolutely delicious! Seriously, that's not a punch line. The night before my wedding, at the Welcome Dinner, a few of the guests (who didn't return their invites with food specifications) mentioned that they were Vegetarian and I almost lost it. We were planning to serve steak at the wedding. I quickly shot a text over to my wedding planner who was able to get in touch with Gina at 830pm, who agreed to add an additional 5 Vegetarian meals to the menu.

Ok, now let's get to the wedding day...on the day of the wedding, I was very nervous because I just wasn't sure how they were going to be able to execute on a hot seated dinner for 50, in my parent's backyard on a 95 degree day. But they delivered. The food was so tasty and the staff was super friendly and very accommodating. There were a few hiccups, due to the sloped backyard, but the staff quickly moved past it.

If you want great food and great service, you can't go wrong with Absolutely Delicious Catering!

I was pretty happy with the turn out of our food. Little unhappy with some communication issues but nothing that I couldnt see past. The food was amazing and our guests talked about it for weeks after.

First off, there was a language barrier in explaining what we wanted. Once that was figured out we thought we were good to go. Then the day of, the tray-passed apps that were supposed to be warm were not, the ceremony started about 40 min late, but I feel that was a knock against their flexibility. There were no plates at the cake table when we did our cake cutting. There were not enough cups for our guests to do champagne toasts or get milk that was a part of our groom's cake. They improvised and put champagne bottles on the tables instead of filled glasses, some tables had 2 bottles, others had no bottles. Very disappointing. The other food served was pretty good, but the risotto was dry and more like regular rice. We got our bartenders through Absolutely Delicious and they were TERRIBLE. Very slow, told our guests they couldn't get double drinks, and when I asked for Miller Lite (we had it on draft), they said they never had any. They tapped the keg, and forgot about it in the keg-erator, they didn't serve it so we had a full keg that was wasted. They opened up liquor bottles that didn't need to be opened at the time. We provided the liquor and alcohol and could return any unused bottles, so it wasted more money.

They charged us for a clean up service even though we had already paid another vendor to do so and they stole our left over food (a lot of food). When the manager was told that her staff had stolen our food she was very rude and refused to apologize or even admit they had done it (even though many people at the wedding witnessed them taking the food). STAY AWAY!
