Adam’s photography is amazing! His photos are absolutely beautiful and timeless! He’s great to work with and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera! First, he took our engagement photos and I had to cancel day of for a medical emergency and he was so easy going and willing to reschedule! Those pictures made us confident our wedding ones would be great! Then came covid and we had to postpone our big wedding, but we had Adam capture an intimate wedding with close family. He was there for us every step of the way! We are so in love with every single photo from our wedding! We truly cannot find one that isn’t just beautiful. I love that his photos are classic and timeless. We will look back at these in 20 years and they will still be just as beautiful! Thank you, Adam! -

We cannot express enough how amazing Adam was for both our engagement pictures and our wedding day. The second we met, we were immediately comfortable with him. My husband and I both take a little bit of time to loosen up when we’re in the front of the camera, but not with Adam. He told us exactly what to do and was amazing at capturing our genuine, candid happiness and love. On our wedding day, he played music and kept the vibes high all day for me & my bridesmaids. Jade did the same for my husband and his groomsman. They were with us the entire day, and capturing everything from getting ready to the final song at the reception. Adam kept us on schedule & made sure to get every picture we previously requested along with so many of our guests throughout the night. We received our entire wedding album of over 2400 photos after only ~6 weeks with over 400 previews given to us just 3 days after. If you or anyone you know need a photographer, Adam Michaels Photography is the business to go with! You will NOT be disappointed!!! -

Incredible photographers and people!
Jade and Adam were both fun and professional while also doing incredible work for us! They both made our wedding day so special and everyone from the wedding party to guests had nothing but amazing things to say about them. We worked mostly with Jade who was extremely helpful and honest when there were areas we needed guidance and opinions to plan our perfect day. Our ceremony was at Heinz Chapel and reception at the Lemont so I specifically wanted to work with someone who had experience with these locations. The teams for both venues knew Jade and Adam well and were very complimentary to them as well, speaking to their professionalism. It was truly special to spend our wedding day with people we trusted and felt comfortable with to capture all of the amazing moments throughout the day. We couldn’t be happier with the beautiful pictures and experience we shared with Jade and Adam and could not recommend them more! -

Jade is not only an outstanding photographer, but also an incredible wedding planning advisor. Planning a wedding for the first time can be overwhelming, and Jade provided so many helpful tips that made the entire process much smoother. She paid attention to the little details that I would never have thought about, yet those details turned out to be very important on the wedding day.
When it came to photography, Jade made everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and happy. We actually met her in person for the first time only a couple of hours before the ceremony, but she made us feel like we had known her for years. Her warm personality helped everyone feel at ease, and the photo sessions flowed naturally and effortlessly.
The photos turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We highly recommend Jade to any couple looking for not only a talented photographer, but also someone who genuinely cares about making their wedding day special and stress-free. -

Engagement Photos
We got our engagement photos done by Adam at the Carnegie Museum of Art and National History. My fiancé and I have never taken professional photos before but we felt immediately comfortable with Adam. He did a fantastic job and helped us a lot with getting comfortable in front of the camera. It only took 3 days for us to get our photos back and they look amazing! I would recommend him over and over again to people for photoshoots! Will definitely be hiring him for our wedding. -

The Best Choice!
If you are considering booking Adam Michaels Photography, do it! Choosing him was easily the BEST decision we made during our entire wedding planning process.
Our package was incredibly reasonable, especially considering it included an engagement session, a second shooter for the wedding, and unlimited day-of coverage. We had more fun than we ever thought possible during our engagement shoot with Adam! It was such a fun and relaxed experience and was the perfect way to ease our nerves about being in front of the camera before the wedding. We were blown away by our engamgent photos!
On our wedding day, we had the pleasure of working with both Adam and Jade. Both Adam and Jade are incredibly genuine, down-to-earth people (and amazing photographers!) who made us and our guests feel completely at ease. Adam is the perfect balance of fun and relaxed, yet professional and organized. He was instrumental in keeping our timeline ahead of schedule, allowing us to actually enjoy the moment.
The turnaround time for our wedding photos was incredible! We received over 200 preview pictures within just two days and our full gallery in only five weeks. The photos themselves are beyond stunning and better than we ever could have imagined. His style is natural, classic, and timeless.

We used Adam for our wedding photography for our wedding on 10/3/2025 at the Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens. We had a great experience working with him! Our package also came with engagement photos. This was really helpful to get to know Adam and he made us feel comfortable as two awkward people who don't like photos. On the wedding day, Adam was organized and kept the day moving to make sure all of the formal photos were captured. He was great at giving directions to everyone so everything went smoothly. A real professional. During the reception, he was able to capture so many wonderful candid moments and group shots of all our guests. He was always responsive with communication before and after the event and he provided us so many photos the next day and the full set of photos within the time advertised. I would highly recommend him to others! -

Amazing Wedding Photos!!
Adam and Jade were so great! All of the photos turned out even better than we expected. Neither of us are that into taking photos so having Adam to pose us and ensure the photos would turn out great was helpful. Having a photographer like Adam to really help with the timeline for the day and making sure everything stayed on schedule was great. He was also willing to do whatever we wanted and didn’t mind when we wanted to take photos in the rain. We’d love to work with Adam again and would highly recommend him to anyone even beyond wedding/engagement photos. -

Words cannot even begin to express how fabulous Jade is to work with. She made everything so fun and easy, from our engagement shoot last year to our wedding in September. Jade photographed our engagement and wedding and we couldn’t be happier! We had our ceremony and reception at LeMont and did photos beforehand at the CMU columns, and our photos are gorgeous. Jade is everything you need in a photographer. She is talented, personable, professional, and she made us feel comfortable with her from the very first meeting. All the planning leading up to the wedding was very smooth. Her communications with us were timely and very detail oriented and really helped to make sure everything the day of the wedding was organized and ran on time. We are beyond thrilled with our engagement and wedding photos! Jade is absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, she made both of us feel comfortable in front of the camera (which is no small feat since we’re both usually awkward with photos). Awesome start to finish!
We worked with Jade and got the 2 hour elopement package and it was perfect! Jade was so communicative and we felt very comfortable to be our goofy selves around her. My wife and I chose Adam and Jade as our wedding photographers, and we could not speak highly enough of their professionalism and the quality of their photography. They truly went above and beyond, exceeding all expectations. Our wedding package included an engagement photo session with Adam, who quickly impressed us with his responsiveness, kindness, and willingness to accommodate our tight schedules. He recommended several beautiful locations in the Pittsburgh area beforehand (per our request) and his expertise was immediately apparent within moments of meeting him. In addition to taking amazing photos, he quickly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and patiently guided us throughout the session, while also asking for our input and preferences.
On our wedding day, Adam handled the "Getting Ready" photos with my wife and her Bridesmaids, while Jade handled the Groomsmen and myself. Similar to Adam, Jade was incredibly friendly and professional. She did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and guiding us through our individual and group photos. She had the added challenge of dealing with my Groomsmen's "quippish-ness" but was totally unphased and cool with it. During the ceremony and reception, Adam and Jade struck a perfect balance of exhibiting patience, while also keeping us on track with the scheduled timeline. Not only were they extremely personable and helpful to us and all of our guests, but they fully captured the emotions and beauty at each stage of our special day with their stunning photography. Hiring Adam Michaels for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made during the entire planning process. We had the pleasure of working with both Adam and Jade, who served as our second photographer. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they’re also down-to-earth, professional, and fun to be around. We felt instantly comfortable with both of them.
As the bride, I had more direct interaction with Adam, our main photographer. Our package included an engagement session, which I highly recommend to anyone booking a wedding photographer. It helped my now-husband and me get comfortable in front of the camera, better understand posing, and ease our nerves ahead of our wedding day. Adam was the perfect guide throughout–he broke the ice right away and somehow managed to make us look and feel natural in every one of our engagement photos.
On the wedding day, Adam joined me in the bridal suite for the “getting ready” photos, while Jade headed to the grooms’ suite (Jade also perfectly arranged our “wedding details,” which captured so so beautifully). Adam’s presence was so calming–he was personable, friendly, and made everyone in the bridal party feel at ease. He even went out of his way to help my mum give instructions to an out-of-town guest who had gotten lost. He was so patient on the phone, and my mum still talks about how amazing Adam was during that moment.
Both Adam and Jade have a remarkable eye for capturing “the shot.” They were clear at directing us, keeping things on schedule, and making sure we got all of the photos we wanted–posed, candid, between us, with our wedding party, with our families, at the ceremony, at the reception, and every moment in between. They handled our families and group shots with ease and grace, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and included.
Finally, the photos came back more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We received our photos in both color and black and white, which added a timeless flair to our pictures. Thanks to Adam and Jade, we now have an album of memories we will treasure forever.

When setting up the shoot, he communicated clearly and quickly. My husband and I are not the biggest fans of being on camera, and Adam's instructions allowed us to get out of our heads and enjoy the photoshoot. My jaw dropped when my husband said he actually had fun- which is really saying something. Adam got the photos back to us incredibly fast, and they were better than we could have imagined. Unfortunately, due to our IG privacy settings, we were unable to tag Adam when we posted them, but I can attest that there were tons of compliments from our family and friends on the photo quality! Originally, I was really attracted to his work, specifically his attention to background and detail, but working with him during our engagement shoot really drove home the decision for me. We cannot recommend Adam Michael’s Photography enough! From start to finish Michael and Jade were an absolute joy to work with. Their ability to capture every special moment, big and small, is truly remarkable. Before I even booked with them, I made it very clear that having photos with my very stubborn, potentially uncooperative 6 year old Siberian Husky, they not only embraced my vision- they were so patient and helpful with him. Every single one of the photos are breathtaking—the hundreds of engagement photos and I swear thousands of wedding photos, each and every one is perfect in every way. They made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire day. Adam did such a great job keeping everything organized and on time. I met with them prior to go over a timeline of the day. I recently had the pleasure of working with Adam Michaels Studio for my wedding, and I can’t recommend them enough! We chose the unlimited package which included unlimited time on our wedding day, two talented photographers, and an engagement session that truly exceeded our expectations.
The engagement session was a fantastic addition. It allowed my husband and I to get comfortable posing as a couple, which eased our nerves for the big day. Adam took the time to get to know us, and he made it fun and relaxed. It is always a struggle to capture my husband’s smile and Adam nailed it. By the end, we felt like we had a great rapport, and it was evident he genuinely cared about capturing our unique style.
On the wedding day, the unlimited time was a game-changer. There was no rush to get to the next location or worry about missing any special moments. Where to even begin! My mom recommended Adam as our photographer for our engagement and wedding, best decision! My husband is camera shy and worried about the engagement shoot, but Adam did a great job at keeping us relaxed and our pictures were beautiful. During the wedding planning, Adam and Jade were able to give us direction and helped put together our wedding day timeline. As a stressed out bride and never having to plan out an entire day, this helped immensely. As most wedding days go, the day was extremely stressful! Having Adam and Jade there made the big day less stressful and they helped us relax in the midst of chaos. It was raining for most of my wedding day but Adam was able to find 20 minutes where the rain stopped. Thanks to him and Jade, I was able to get married outside and our ceremony was beautiful. They both go above and beyond! Best decision hiring Adam Michaels Photography. We even received our preview within a few days after our wedding, and then we received all the photos within the week. My wife and I are beyond happy that we picked Adam Michaels to photograph our small, intimate wedding at the Phipps, and would do so again in a heartbeat. If you are getting married at the Phipps (or really anywhere within 50 miles), pick Adam Michaels.
When we were choosing our photographer, we noted that Adam has 7 “Couples’ Choice Awards” on Wedding Wire, 269 5-star reviews on The Knot, and 256 5-star reviews on Google. These are well-deserved and undersell how amazing Adam is.
Adam and his partner, Jade, made us feel incredibly comfortable from the first time we talked with them to the first time that we met them in person, 15 minutes before the “first look” on our wedding day. On your wedding day, you will be nervous and anxious, but Jade and Adam were so friendly, professional, and just plain great (for more, see the write up in the Pittsburgh Tribune) that we were instantly put at ease (and this is reflected in the photos). Adam had a playlist, full of great songs, that helped us relax and feel at ease and it added a nice soundtrack to the photoshoot. Adam and Jade gave us the right amount of direction to ensure that not only were the photos composed perfectly but that we also looked our best in them. They also asked for our input on poses and where to take photos, which helped us realize what we wanted (realize in both senses of “making real” and “making aware of” and I appreciated that). The combination of their ability to make us comfortable and their tons of experience working weddings led to an amazing experience and fantastic photos.
My wife and I were absolutely shocked by how well all of the photos looked and how quickly Adam was able to return the photos to us. The photos are all beautifully composed and edited; we look like the best versions of ourselves in each of the 1,000 photos Adam gave us. Adam and Jade ensured that they got every picture that we asked for, and through their suggestions we got pictures that we didn’t know we wanted but now absolutely love and adore. Finally, there were no poorly composed or poorly cropped photos; he and Jade (who is also amazing, talented, professional, and great) never appear in the photos the other took and the photos are never slightly off center (when you look through some photographers’ galleries, you may notice that people are slightly out of place, including seeing the other photographer, but not Adam’s).

Adam is truly the greatest wedding photographer of all time! It was such an honor to work with him, and have him capture our special day. From the moment we reached out, to the last song at our wedding, everything was perfect and then some.
He made us feel so comfortable when we were taking our engagement photos, and on our wedding day – he has a little speaker with the most fire playlist going to make things even more fun. His artistic eye and talent behind the camera absolutely wowed us – I cannot stop staring at every single photo he took. He captured the most special day of our lives so beautifully. His photos truly show every emotion we felt that day.
Adam was with us from the first parts of the morning while we were getting ready, until the last dance of the night, which is not something all wedding photographers do. He also captured pictures of practically every member of our family and all of our friends at our reception. He planned the timeline of the day for us perfectly – it’s basically like having a wedding planner and photographer all in one!
It was 99 degrees on our wedding day and he did the best to keep us cool, finding interesting shooting locations in our hotel and around the city so we wouldn’t have to be outside for long periods on time. On top of everything, he sent us all of our finished photos in less than a month! I would recommend him to anyone getting married – he truly is the absolute best in every way. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could!

Adam was an absolute pleasure working with from start to finish! After sifting through dozens of photographers for our engagement/wedding, we chose Adam Michaels Photography because of how he captures special moments so beautifully. The communication throughout the entire process was always clear and helpful. Incredible quality and service
My husband and I can't say enough good things about Adam and Jade. We booked them for our wedding, and they did a phenomenal job capturing our day. Our friends and family commented how at-ease they made them feel. Adam and Jade have an eye for detail and did a great job keeping the schedule for the day, which they also helped create. Highly Recommend!
We had Adam as our wedding photographer with Jade as a second shooter, and it was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process! Adam did an engagement photoshoot with us as well, which was a great way to kickstart everything. We can both be a little awkward for photos, but Adam did such a great job giving us direction, and getting amazing shots for us. During the wedding planning process, he helped us put together a wedding day timeline. Trust me, your wedding day is one hectic, chaotic day, and it was so helpful to have Adam there to keep us on track time wise. He also made sure to ask us beforehand if there were any specific shots we wanted to get (either with certain people or in certain poses), to make sure he was prioritizing our needs, and ensure he had what he needed to deliver us photos that we would love. (and he did!) There are so many great photos we have from this day, and we absolutely love them. Choosing a photographer for us was our most important vendor hire. They preserve the day in photos that you will cherish for the rest of your life. We could not be happier with the decision that we made going with Adam! -

Adam and his business partner Jade were absolutely incredible at our wedding! We had a VERY large wedding party (13 on each side) which can be difficult to manage, but to them, it was no problem! We ended up with the most epic and incredible photos and they kept everyone moving along while having a blast on the big day.
Adam and Jade are incredibly professional and talented and took gorgeous photos all day and late, well into the evening. Not only that, but they edited a large amount of photos (I think at least 50+) for our "sneak peaks" which we had 2 days after the wedding day, we were shocked!
We truly cannot recommend them more for your big day. Photos are such an important part of remembering such a beautiful moment forever, and I will always be grateful for their dedication and the care they brought to our wedding day. Truly 10/10!! -

Adam was the best photographer we didn’t know we needed for our wedding. We went into the wedding planning process looking for a photographer that had great photos and Adam immediately stood out to us. We were unaware of the considerations we needed to pay attention to in selecting our wedding photographer and Adam walked us through what to expect, the purpose of an engagement shoot, print rights, and how to start thinking about our timeline. We did an engagement shoot with Adam and he taught us poses we could use for our wedding photos and recommended locations for great photos. We got our engagement photos back quickly and were able to use them for our wedding invitations. On the wedding day Adam and Jade were great at leading our large wedding party and family to make sure we got all the photos we wanted and kept on schedule. Adam was familiar with our venue and had some great ideas for photo locations. We booked him for unlimited time and were so glad we did because we got some great photos outside in the dark and have lots of photos of our guests having a great time which we wouldn’t have gotten if we didn’t book him for the whole night. He got back our photos to us as expected, he first sent some highlights for us to see and later sent the remaining edited photos to us. He gave us all photos in edited in color and black and white. -

We had Adam take our engagement photos in October and thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with him. We absolutely recommend him for your shoot!
Before settling on a photographer, we had a phone call with Adam and exchanged a few emails; we found him to be very responsive, he took the time to explain the entire process to us, and also helped us decide on our shoot locations. We decided to move forward with him as a result.
On the day of the shoot, Adam created a comfortable atmosphere, bringing music to the shoot and guided us through the session. My partner and I are both a bit camera shy, so this helped us relax and allowed us to be ourselves in front of the camera. He provided direction to help us pose, and also created scenarios to capture more candid shots. Adam was also well-prepared, bringing props for us to use and an umbrella for the fall rain.
We received our photos almost exactly one month later, and are absolutely thrilled with the results! The quality of the photos are outstanding (well shot, great lighting, great use of depth of field); it is clear that Adam is extremely talented, and we could not be happier with our photos.
Definitely consider Adam for your photoshoot! -

The wedding day was nothing short of spectacular. Adam and Jade orchestrated the bridal party photos with precision, taking charge when necessary and demonstrating impeccable preparation. Adam was one of the first recommendations we received from our wedding planner, and after checking out some of his work and reviews, it was easy to see why.
Besides being extremely responsive and easy to work with, Adam excelled at providing guidance for shots while remaining laid back, keeping us stress free throughout our engagement shoot and wedding day. We had a few particular photos in mind, and he understood our vision, capturing all of them better than we could’ve imagined, but we trusted in his experience for most of our posed shots and that made things very easy on us. One specific note on Adam as a professional- he truly wants you to get great photos that you’ll be proud of. The day before our wedding, after our entire timeline had been planned, our neighbors presented us a photo op that we didn’t want to turn down. Adam quickly provided our planner with a way to make it happen without taking away from anything else in our schedule.
We ultimately chose Adam to be our photographer because we thought his photos in natural light were outstanding, and we wanted to remember our wedding day as it was. I want to start by saying Adam is the ABSOLUTE BEST and was by far one of our favorite vendors.
When we were searching for photographers for our engagement pictures and our July 2023 wedding we came across Adam Michaels’ pictures that he had taken from previous weddings…and wow they were stunning, creative, and exactly the type of photos we wanted.
We met with him and about 3 other photographers via phone. Instantly when we were speaking with Adam we felt a connection with him because he was so easy to talk to and was able to see what type of vision we wanted for our pictures.
During our engagement session:
He was so flexible because we ended up rescheduling several times due to weather. He also took his time and shot many photos at two different locations for us (Frick Park and The Terminal at the Strip District).
Adam made us feel comfortable and was very specific on what he wanted us to do.
He listened to any suggestions we had or any ideas we had for different shots.
He sent over a few sneak peek pictures so that we could get a head start on sending our save the dates out.
Leading up to the wedding:
Adam and (his sister- Jade who is in charge of scheduling for Adam) were very quick to answer any questions we had and helped us find other amazing vendors.
A month before the wedding, Adam helped us put together a timeline for the day of the wedding. (He did such a great job sticking to the timeline and made the most of any time throughout the day and night to get pictures that we wanted; sunset, field photos, etc.)
On the day of our wedding:
We had Adam and Jade as a second photographer (we were amazingly lucky to have Jade as a second photographer because she was also so creative, her pictures and detail shots were equally stunning)
Adam not only made us feel comfortable but SO many of our guests commented on how efficient he was, organized he was, and how personable he was. Even weeks later, our families could not stop talking about how amazing Adam was.
He was basically everywhere throughout the day/night in order to get those “in the moment” shots…Adam did not mind when we grabbed him to take a picture of certain groups that may have not been on the shot list.
He worked very well with our Videographer (who he recommended to us), Bobby Bridges from Bridge Perspective.
Throughout the day, Adam did not look flustered or stressed at all. He was so calm and professional and that made us very calm and able to be in the moment with everything.
ALL of his pictures he took (engagement and wedding were done and sent to us very quickly- some were even sent to us days later!!!)
Overall, Adam Michaels was by far our favorite vendor and we could not have been more pleased with how all of the pictures turned out. We highly recommend Adam if you want someone who is creative, flexible, personable, organized, and efficient.

Adam Michaels and Jade were an absolute joy to work with for our July wedding. First, we had an engagement shoot while I was nervous (haven't had professional photos done prior) both Adam and Jade were able to communicate what we should do. They were personable, asked us about us, and got to know us better in order to tailor the shoot to what we wanted and what we were willing to do. They were able to send our photos in a very quick turnaround which was awesome to see as well. We were blown away by the shots.
Then we had the wedding. Adam and Jade arrived early at the venue to scope out places for shots and ideas- they hadn't seen it before. They captured the 'lay flat' items and got getting ready photos of bridesmaids getting ready in the AM. They captured the groomsman arriving at their location and getting ready photos (serious and funny ones). They were there at each of the 'moments' capturing photos and yet they were not in the way of it being just us. They suggest ideas but are also flexible in adapting to what you want/are able/can do (ie wearing a dress is restricting). They are extremely easy to work with and even played music while getting photos to let you loosen up and have your personality shine. They were able to get a sneak peek to us very quickly which was WAY more than the 20 photos I was expecting- I was super impressed and the photos again are amazing.
It wasn't how my husband and I looked or how aglow we were on our day (it is our wedding after all) or how beautiful the background or the venue's beauty were- all those are amazing wherever you get married. Adam and Jade captured that beauty but they 'read' me and my husband well and are so talented in capturing the special moments with your feelings and personalities and expressions in the moment all at the same time. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. -

Amazing Wedding Photographer
I worked with Jade from Adam Michael's
Photography and she was incredible. Adam shot our engagement night which we were extremely pleased with so we had reached out to him for our wedding. He was unfortunately booked but told us Jade was available. We are so thankful she was as she was amazing to work with and took two people, who don't like taking pictures, out of their comfort zone to deliver exceptional photos. We did an engagement shoot and she was with us the entire day of our wedding. She was calm and extremely easy to work with the entire time and put up with me being irritable at times, as I mentioned before taking photos is not my favorite. Stunning work!
I booked Jade Hambrick with Adam Michaels Photography for my May 20th wedding. She is such an amazing photographer to work with! We did an engagement photoshoot in October and the photos were magical! I used these beautiful pictures everywhere... at my bridal shower, in our photo guestbook, as centerpieces at our cocktail hour, and as decor. The wedding photos were so much fun to take and we had both Jade and Adam taking pictures at our wedding. Within 24 hours of the wedding, we had several hundred sneak peak photos that were STUNNING and less than a month after our wedding, we have several thousand beautiful photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I could not ask for anything more from a photographer; Jade is an amazing person to work with and her work, and the work of Adam Michaels Photography, speaks for itself! 10/10 would hire again! :) -

Incredible Photographer
Adam and Jade were the most incredible photographers we could have asked for! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera from the first moment that we met them for our engagement photos and were so down for any fun or silly photos that we wanted to do. We are not naturally very good at posing, etc, and Adam made it easy to get incredible shots! Adam made sure that we got beautiful photos and really helped the day run smoothly!
