  Exceptional!

  Adam Barnes is one of a kind! My now husband and I were lucky enough to be introduced to Adam by our wedding planner. Adam photographed both our engagement and wedding photos and they are beautiful. He is an incredible photographer, but most importantly a genuine person who really wants the best for his clients and really cares! Adam not only produces beautiful photographs, but he kept our large wedding parties and families on schedule while capturing every photograph we had asked for and more. He truly has such a talent and is able to catch special candid moments that not many would be able to capture in such an artistic way. Adam has a calm and positive presence that every bride and groom needs on their wedding day! Adam and his assistant Jodie worked so well together on our wedding day and allowed for us to feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera – there is not one picture we don’t love. We are so lucky to have met Adam and have him photograph our wedding. We will forever cherish these photos! Can’t recommend Adam enough!!

  Incredible experience - our photos are gorgeous

  I cannotttt express how happy we were with our decision to go with Adam. He is SO patient and easy to work with plus is so talented. He shot both of our engagement photos and wedding photos and they all turned out amazing! You cannot go wrong with selecting Adam as your photographer.

  Adam did a wonderful job photographing our wedding! He was with us for 10 hours, and he was not invasive during the day and evening, which was nice because we got to enjoy every moment of our wedding without interruption. The photos came out beautifully, they are truly magazine quality shots! We would definitely choose him again!

  Adam Barnes is an amazing photographer and person. Finding a wedding photographer in Virginia is easy, but finding a true talent like Adam is rare. His beautiful photographs speak for themselves, but he's so much more than just a man behind a camera. Once you work with Adam, you will understand that he is an artist. He is not only concerned about taking nice photos but about styling a beautiful, cohesive session. He goes above and beyond to learn the landscape of the venue to be sure to take advantage of all it's beauty, and he makes his clients feel like supermodels with his direction and suggestions. Most importantly, Adam is a kind and genuine person who wants to make his clients happy. On your wedding day, you surround yourself with wonderful people, and Adam should be one of them!

  Adam Barnes was excellent. He took the most beautiful pictures, his demeanor was pleasant and comforting, and we really enjoyed hanging out with him for the day. We felt so comfortable in front of him, he really took feedback well about making us look good, and his assistant Kurt was equally amazing.   We were told to make sure you get an excellent photographer for our daughter's wedding. We hit the jackpot with Adam. He did a wonderful job, never missed an opportunity, and worked well to get outdoor shots even in 50 degree rainy weather!
  He was respectful, artistic, thorough and always calm. He captured the day so well, down to the finest detail. We never had a doubt that the day would be captured so professionally. We have many photos and they are all so beautiful.

  I just can't say enough good about Adam. His photography speaks for itself - timeless, beautiful, romantic, and natural shots that you know you'll keep forever. As soon as my husband and I saw his work, we wanted to book immediately, but also wanted to make sure he was a nice person we'd want to have around us on our wedding day. All it took was a five minute conversation with him for us to see how kind, calm, flexible, and excited he was. He was one of the first vendors we booked early early on, and we're so glad we did!
  
  A few days before the wedding, we realized we hadn't gotten a second shooter but thought it would be best if we had one. Working on super short notice, Adam found a second shooter to come along for the day of, and handled a potentially stressful situation with calmness and grace, as he did the entire day of the wedding. He made us feel so comfortable with him, and our wedding party and family loved him as well - all of them were commenting on how great he was the entire day. He was the consummate professional and was a joy to have with us on our wedding day. We can't wait to have him shoot more of our life events in the future!!

  Adam was so good. He provided a ton of images, a mixture of digital and film, and each one was wall hanging worthy. AND the album. SOOO beautiful. I'd hire him again in a minute.

  Adam is truly a wonderful photographer! His photo quality is the best I have ever seen. He did my engagement and wedding photos and they are beautiful. He has wonderful taste in where to photograph you and how to put an album together. One thing I loved about him and his assistant was that I forgot they were taking pictures at my wedding and got amazing pictures. He is such a nice person as well. My parents and I are so happy Adam was our photographer. I would recommend him to anyone and will use him again in future events that I would want a professional photographer for.

  We immediatly knew we wnated Adam to do our wedding after viewing his website and then when we had our engagement session we knew he was goin to be amazing at the wedding. Forst of all it was a million degrees for our session on the mall in DC and adam worked with us the entire time and we came out with amazing pictures! Our wedding was jsut 2 weeks ago so we don't have any photos back yet but jsut all the coverage and staged photos I know they're going to be amazing! He sees things at your venue and immediatly knows what pose will make a greta pictures as well as jsut catching you in the moment as well, I can't wait to see how they turned out!

  Adam is amazing. I met him many years ago and immediately loved his work... so much so that I recommended everyone I knew to him, and finally this year, it was my turn to be the bride! Just looking at his pictures, you can tell how creative and artistic he is. What you can't see in the pictures is that Adam is extremely professional, very easy to work with, makes everyone feel comfortable, and will work with you to develop your individual style. I can't say enough good things about him. I had the wedding of my dreams, and thanks to Adam, I have the photographs to remember everything for a lifetime!

The engagement shots which comprised the guestbook at the wedding was very different and everyone loved it. The bridal portraits were also beautiful and everything my daughter wanted. The wedding pictures were simply incredible. Adam covered all the bases and more. We will have plenty to choose from and doing so will be difficult. It was so nice to have shots of absolutely everything since the time went by so fast! So many of the shots seemed like magazine material.
