Amazing wedding experience!
We had the best time cake tasting with Diane, and our wedding cake was spectacular. Our guests raved about the red velvet layer, as well as the vanilla cake with raspberry preserves. The presentation was wonderful, and we can’t wait to stop by her shop the next time we are in Gainesville.

The most delicious and beautiful cake! I got so many compliments from wedding guests about the cake. Multiple people told me it was the most delicious cake they’ve tasted and I agree! Diane is very professional, helpful in the ordering and extremely talented with design. I sent over a few pictures of different design elements that I liked and she created the most beautiful cake that was even better than what I envisioned! We were able to choose 6 cake and 6 frosting flavors to sample; It was so hard to pick because they were all incredible!

Our venue put us in contact with Diane as our only cake options (provided by the venue) were chocolate and vanilla and we were hoping to provide some fun and variety for our guests. Diane was super responsive and set up an amazing tasting for us so we could sample cake and frosting flavors. We ordered individual cupcake boxes (due to COVID) and she was more than willing to accommodate us. By the time we arrived at the venue our cupcakes were already set out for us and our guests LOVED them. I am still getting questions about "who made the cupcakes?" weeks after our wedding. She was incredibly reasonably priced and great to work with. If our venue wasn't an hour and a half away from home I would order cupcakes just to eat. They're delicious!

The cake for our wedding came out beautifully, and on top of looking amazing it tasted amazing too! The hardest part is choosing the flavor combinations, because every flavor we tried was amazing. Our guests all loved the cake, and Diane made the whole process so easy. She also made an amazing groom’s cake with a Clemson paw on top that my husband loved (filled with carrot cake, his fav!). I highly recommend Acuna’s if you want a beautiful cake that tastes amazing too!

Our wedding cakes turned out perfectly!! We chose lemon cake with raspberry filling for two tiers of our wedding cake and strawberry cake with buttercream filling for the last tier. The grooms cake was chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. SO GOOD. I always tell people the cake tasting was our favorite part of wedding planning and that is 100% true. My husband and I made pigs of ourselves eating every last crumb of the samples Diane brought. We had a hard time picking flavors because every option was seriously the best cake I've ever had in my life. You cannot go wrong with Acuna's Custom Cakes!! She is incredibly talented and her cakes are reasonably priced - something that is truly hard to find in the Atlanta area!

Incredible cake and cupcakes
Acuna cakes was such an incredible choice for our wedding cake and cupcakes! Her prices were super reasonable and she is such a hands on decorator/designer. Diana helped us do a trial run of a different flavor that was outside her standard but we loved all of the tastings she offered and ended up choosing the honey flavor we wanted. She nailed the honey cupcake and was super open to our design ideas. We had around 200 cupcakes with 1/2 vanilla and 1/2 honey with gold decorations and berries. I cannot tell you how great they tasted and looked. The photos are some of my favorite from the wedding. Our wedding cake was a 6" naked spice cake with fig preserve (something else she wasn't used to). The cake was beautiful and was the perfect touch. We ate the whole cake when we got back from the honeymoon and it was just as good as the night we cut it.
I cannot recommend Acuna cakes enough and I will definitely order from her again for other occasions as well!

Wedding Cake Rule 101 - Lick the Plate in Public!
As the mother of the bride, the cake selection was tasked to me because my daughter had just been accepted to both Emory and Mercer - too many decisions to throw a cake in there, too. :) The bride asked for traditional elegance with no topper and no frill. After much thought and many bakery emails around Atlanta, I chose Diane. The easiest vendor experience from start to finish - planning to the last bite: just short of licking the plate in public!
We received so many compliments about the cake from how moist and delicious it was to the complementing layer flavors (which Diane directed me to after listening to what I thought the bride wanted to serve.) She also guided me through the size and servings' planning and that was spot on, too. Only two slices left and a few guests even had seconds. It was all just perfect! Diane is absolutely amazing! Choosing a cake vendor was challenging at first because of my gluten allergy. All of the gluten free cakes we had tried were subpar at best. Diane went above-and-beyond to create the most amazing gluten free wedding cake, and she even gave us gluten free cupcakes to accompany the groomsman cake at the rehearsal dinner. Not only did she create the most beautiful cakes, but every single guest continued to talk about how delicious her cake was (and many of them tried to take pieces to-go lol.) Amazing Cake and Better Baker
Our wedding cake tasted incredible and looked beautiful. We didn't have the opportunity to try it, and when Diane found out, SHE BAKED US ANOTHER TIER and sent it to our house via our wedding planner. She's so super sweet, and we're really glad we went with her. Thanks, Diane!

Acuna did a wonderful with making my cake vision come true. She is worth every penny. At the last minute I realized my cake wouldn't be big enough for the amount of guest that i was going to have and she i gave me other options. My cake wasn't just pretty but it tasted sooooo good. I still get comments on my cake !

Diane was such a pleasure to work with, and her cupcakes and cake were simply outstanding. I couldn’t decide on which flavor I liked best so I got several different ones in cupcake form! From the initial consult with Diane with the taste testing, the phone conferences/emails, and the final delivery, this business made this part of wedding planning an absolute breeze. I was not exactly sure what I wanted wirh certain small details and told her just to decide for me, and Diane’s creative outcome was so impressive. Delivery the day of was prompt, and everything went great. I may have to order an anniversary cake every year! Thank you so much!

Diane is so easy to work with and she made choosing the right size cake, the flavor and the design totally painless. So much that Michael and I have been kidding that we wanted her to make us another cup sampler so that we can sample them all again. They were all delicious, but we choose the Lemon with Raspberry filling and then lemon cupcakes with a Raspberry on top. They were lovely. All my quests loved the cake and cup cakes and we received many compliments on the flavor and the design. I just wanted a simple cake with real flowers on top, and she delivered exactly what I wanted. She also made a German Chocolate Grooms cake and barely a crumb was left. She stayed in touch, delivered the cake at just the right time. Her prices were very reasonable. I wish all the other details had been this easy. Everything was perfect.
I would attach photos but we have not gotten the wedding pictures back yet from the photographer.

Acuna's Custom Cakes took our order in last minute and they did not disappoint. Aesthetically, it was more than what I could have imaged. We had a taste testing and decided on our wedding cake flavor and cupcakes. Throughout the wedding, guests were raving at how delicious the cake and cupcakes were. My husband and I finally sat down to enjoy a piece of cake.. OMG, our wedding cake was beyond delicious. It was so moist and flavorful.

I absolutely LOVED my wedding cake!! It was 4 tiered and ombre'd down from white to gold. It was decorated with the cutest edible flowers and there were also several edible keys to match our last name Key! I gave Diane minimal direction as I was not picky at all and what she came up with was beyond my imagination. Simple, but detailed. I was referred to Diane by another vendor and was so pleased with the service and outcome of our wedding cake/ grooms cake. She was so easy to work with and was so helpful along the way. Whenever I had questions, she was happy to answer them. The week of the wedding she called to talk to me to confirm everything which I really appreciated. I really felt like she took the time to understand the feel/vision of my wedding and was just such a nice person to work with. My cake was GORGEOUS and more than what I envision!! I loved everything about it from the taste and the look of it! I surprised my husband with a Florida Gators cake and he was so impressed. Just as great as the cakes looked they tasted great as well and were seriously a hit at our wedding. They killed it!! I had a fall wedding and went with spice cake and vanilla and then had a red velvet cake for the grooms cake. Highly recommend Acuna's Custom Cakes!!! For the past couples of years she's the only one we go to for our cakes. My daughters' sweet 15 cake turned out exactly what we asked for. She's the best in town! The taste and designs are just right!

We loved our cake so much! Diane was able to design the most beautiful cake for our wedding! The strawberry cake was delicious(even my anti-dessert husband wanted more) and I had people telling me all night that it was the best cake at a wedding that they had ever had! Her hospitality and flexibility was great to have being an out of state bride she was so generous having us to her home to meet and discuss my vision. If you are looking for a personalized design or traditional Acuna's custom cakes is the way to go!

My wedding was yesterday July 29th! Diane made my vision of the best wedding cake come to life! She also made my husbands vision of his grooms cake come to life! They tasted amazing she is amazing at what she does. Every little detail she made sure it was perfect! She's the best hands down!!

I ordered my 1st cake from Acuna's cakes 3 years ago for my baby's 1st bday! It was the most delicious prettiest cake ever. my whole family and friends loved it ! Now all of them plus half of my salon clients order from her :) the details on the cakes are amazing. And her prices are the best in the area! Vanilla is my favorite!

Our cakes were not only beautiful but delicious. We could not decide on which flavor we wanted at our tasting, so we did each layer a different flavor. We added a grooms cake kind of last minute and Diane was very accommodating. The German Chocolate cake with a Dallas Cowboys logo was insanely good that it got devoured before my husband could even try it, I was smart enough to eat some of my mothers. We couldn't have chosen anyone better to make our wedding cakes!! Thank you Diane!

I loved my wedding cake, not only does she do a great job on decorating, but they taste delicious. My husband loved his cake (grooms cake) so much he still talks about it. All the people that attend the wedding are still asking me who did my cakes, because they both were so delicious. They did all the little details that we wanted on our cakes and they looked amazing.

She did a fantastic job! Exactly what I asked for and the cakes tasted amazing everyone at the wedding loved them. Picked the perfect sizes leaving no leftovers just the right amount! Would defiantly recommend her services
