We are so happy that we chose to work with Alex from Ace19 Media to capture our wedding day in Purcellville, VA during May 2025! Alex was always quick and professional to respond to any questions I had leading up to the wedding. On our big day, Alex came with such a calming presence and was so attentive to capturing all moments of our wedding day from getting ready, to drone shots of the venue, the vows during our ceremony, and the fun authentic moments from our cocktail hour + dinner/reception. The final wedding video was absolutely beautiful with cinematic edits that were so seamless. He did a great job highlighting the fun, laughter, tears, and spontaneous moments that made our wedding uniquely ours. Watching our video brings us so much emotion. We would recommend Alex to anyone! He creates amazing work! -

Alex is incredible, full stop. If you need a videographer, he’ll get the job done and then some.
Once we found Alex, he was super communicative. He got all our details, answered all our questions, and showed us some great examples of his past work. He also laid out his process and let us know how to prepare ahead of time. It really helped us stay at ease for our big day and focus on enjoying our time.
On the day of the wedding he spent the morning at the cottage with the girls and getting some drone shots. He told us to ignore him but it was hard, he’s a pretty funny guy. Eventually when we all joined up, he walked around getting more shots on the property. Every time we thought of something it would be good to have on camera, he mentioned he already got the shot. Two steps ahead of us all day. He stayed with us all the way until the dancing wound down and made sure he had a ton of footage.
The end result was honestly magical. We mainly wanted to watch our ceremony and speeches as we were so in the moment it’s hard to remember what happened. But the trailer he made on top of that was truly killer.
He did an amazing job and I can’t recommend him enough! -

First, I want to acknowledge that videography is always one of those choices couples consider as "not a necessity" and that a lot of the time it's cut from the list of vendors due to budgeting. HOWEVER, I cannot stress enough that this was the best choice we made for our wedding day, over every other vendor. This video will last a lifetime and we are so grateful for Alex's help in preserving these live memories! So if you're on the fence about it, I'm here to tell you to HIRE THE VIDEOGRAPHER! And more specifically, if you're anywhere near the DC/NOVA area, hire Ace19 Media!
Alex with Ace19 Media was the perfect choice for our videography services on our wedding day! We hired him to video our wedding ceremony, toasts/speeches, and first dances, which was all a part of his Documentary package (which was very affordable and definitely within our price range). Alex was probably the easiest vendor to work with for our wedding day - he was super responsive, had an easy set-up for making payments, was flexible with the schedule and timing the day of, and was super kind in every email. Funny enough, we wanted to meet him in person before our wedding day but never managed to find time to do so, BUT that was not ever an issue! His professional email coordination was enough to make us feel comfortable throughout the planning process.
The day of the wedding, he arrived early at the church to set up at several different angles. He had done Catholic weddings before so he knew what to expect during the ceremony, and he made sure to stay out of the way (I didn't even know where he was at the entire time!). The priest and groom were mic'd, which made the audio in the final video really clear. He even included aerial views of our church and reception venue which was incredible!
The reception video was also amazing! He seemed to work with our other vendors super well, especially our photographer which was really relieving. A few times Alex did miss a few minor moments. HOWEVER, I want to stress that he handled these situations with poise and ultimate professionalism. He fixed the video so that we really couldn't tell that there were issues when watching without knowing about the issues in advance. We had contracted for him to stay through the cake cutting, then he was free to leave, but because of these very minor things he took it upon himself to take extra footage of our sendoff and private dance to make up for the missed footage, which we didn't know about until after he provided the video to us. The final video was more than what we had hoped for, and it is absolutely beautifully made!
We cannot thank Alex enough for all of his hard work and effort into preserving our wedding day for us to relive for a lifetime! And I can't stress enough, please say yes to videography and hire Alex with Ace19 Media for your wedding day! -

My husband and I have watched the video Alex madeover 100 times. We cried and laughed over and over again as if it were the first time.
If you are hesitant to hire a videographer, do it. And make sure you hire Alex!!! We were so in the moment that we missed and had forgotten some parts of the wedding. But thank god for Alex for capturing it all! He made our wedding look like a movie. And he stayed true to who we are..simply amazing 💖
He’s so awesome to work with and so easy to talk to. Which really helped ease out the stress of planning, expect that he will get it done and go above and beyond.

We found Ace19 media through a referral and from the beginning our videographer, Alex, proved to be very prompt, professional and flexible. We would whole heartedly recommend him to family, friends and anyone looking for an exceptional wedding videographer. We were so excited to work with him as we were struggling to find the right videographer for our wedding and Alex moved his personal schedule around to be able to work with us which we are so grateful he was able to do.
He was very responsive, answering questions we had and worked with us to pick the best package for us - we went with a 10 min extended highlight plus full speeches and toasts.
He worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator and our photographers despite not working together before. The day of the wedding, Alex showed up early to capture the bride and groom getting ready and stayed through the end of the night to ensure to have sufficient quality footage for our highlight video. Honestly he was so smooth, my husband and I totally forget he was there filming at times which was great because we never felt awkward or like we had cameras in our face and could truly just enjoy the day.
We received our video less than a month after our wedding and were brought to tears at how beautifully our day was captured through Alex’s professional videography and editing skills. This video will be one the videos we will watch every anniversary and remember our special day and even now we can’t stop watching it to relive the best day ever for us! -

Initially, we weren't going to get a videographer because we didn't think I needed it, but I am SO GLAD we did!! Alex did a wonderful job in capturing the perfect moments and making sure the final product felt like an absolute dream. The editing/music was perfect and he captured exactly what we were looking for. He worked really well with our photographers and our wedding planner. He is also supper responsive and delivered his final product in a timely manner. So thankful for his hard work! Would 100% recommend. -

Alex is truly a special person!! It was such an absolute pleasure working with him! He was always so responsive from the time leading up to our wedding, during and even after our wedding! Alex filmed our winter wedding in January and did an outstanding job! He captured the biggest moments of our wedding day and portrayed it so well through his video edit. He captured everything from venue drone footage to close-up detail shots, precious guest emotions/expressions, and of course captured the main wedding-day events flawlessly, to really make an amazing video. Throughout everything, we enjoyed working with him and we barely even noticed him there shooting alongside our photographer on the wedding day. Alex is very easy-going and was always quick to respond to all of our messages. We received our wedding video in a short turn-around time. He was very accommodating when it came to our feedback and honored any requests we had. We love how our video turned out and are extremely happy to have such a great video highlighting our special day. We highly recommend Alex for his wedding videography services! -

We highly recommend Alex for your wedding videography! He'll probably be your most laidback vendor. I checked in with him a few times before the wedding to give him the timeline, but apart from that he shows up on time and does his thing. No shot list needed. All of his videos are gorgeous - I watched the videos on his portfolio and would cry my eyes out at the weddings of total strangers. That's when I knew I wanted him to film my wedding.
When we got our video back, it was absolutely beautiful!! I'm obsessed. Our family is obsessed. We cried and cried and it was so great to relive the day in such beautiful detail. I love the editing so much too and how the cuts sync with the audio. Alex has a wonderful gift of capturing the moments you think go unnoticed but his keen eye picks up on very subtle details of the day. We sent the video to our family and they had the same reaction - even my not-engaged Maid of Honor said, "WOW if I get married, I have to hire him!" Alex is so good, she's planning a wedding she doesn't have on the horizon. It's incredible and thank you so much, Alex! -

He did an amazing job capturing our special day and I have watched our highlight video a million times already wishing I could relive that day! The first time I watched it I teared up. We had some mess-ups from our DJ throughout the evening and I am so glad that he was able edit it out and put together a beautiful video that truly captured our love and happiness! So I'll start off by saying we unfortunately will not have the opportunity to get to work with Alex due to covid :/ BUT you need to hire him!!! From the initial communications back in Feb of 2019 he was so responsive and worked with us trying to customize a package that worked for us. His pricing is so reasonable and I loved that he did not base his pricing off of how many hours of filming and he would simply just be with us the whole day! Then when our April 2020 wedding was cancelled he was so flexible and worked with us on our rescheduled wedding date of Sept. 2020 which also will not be happening due to covid :/ but Alex was so awesome throughout! He's so easy to work with and so flexible and his work is just great! If you're looking for a videographer, definitely reach out to Alex!! You will not be disappointed! :) -

Alex was a phenomenal videographer. He was a pleasure to work with, incredibly friendly and there to make sure everything is captured just the way you want. He worked well with all the other vendors to make sure sound and video was captured at all the right times. I can't say enough about Alex and his work. I wasn't sure if I wanted video at my wedding because I had prioritized photography and did not want a ton of cameras in my face on the big day. I have to say I barely saw Alex, in the best way possible! He was there, but he was in the background and somehow captured some of the most beautiful moments of the day. I cried after seeing his beautiful and creative edit. He captured the day perfectly and was also a joy to work with. He was easy going, great personality and worked well with my photographer. He delivered the edit quickly and was extremely professional the entire time. He was there early and stayed late into the reception - far beyond my expectation. The drone footage was a great touch and I appreciated his easy going demeanor. If you are on the fence about video, do not hesitate for a second and hire Alex!! You will NOT regret it! Photos are amazing, but it's so helpful to have the video as well! -

I have gushed about our wedding video to just about everyone I know! We have watched it over and over and over and everytime we find something new and special about it. He captured the big moments and unique details of our day, yet looking back, we feel like he wasn't even there! He strategically moved in and around every part of the day beginning in the bridal and groom suite while we got ready, to the end of night and the final dances (and everything in between). Not only do his videos prove how professional and talented he is, but he brought a light and loving energy upon first meeting. I had no concerns or doubts during the entire process and the end result was simply above and beyond what we could have expected. This service was well worth every penny and we're forever grateful for him being part of our most awesome day! -

My wedding video is perfect! My first week with it I watched it 6 times (1+ hr long) and I still cant help but frequently go back to see it again. Alex was totally flexible and accommodating-stayed longer than we had originally asked to help film some moments later in the schedule our family really wanted.
Alex captured all of our special moments-ones that I even forgot took place! He timed the footage with music perfectly and used all the songs most important to us we had in our wedding (without us having to ask). Alex was even able to use drone footage to capture the venue and surrounding area!
Best pricing and value I have heard quoted. I could honestly go on and on but really just book him if you can. You will know quickly because he is so responsive. -

Diana Sent on 07/15/2018I'm almost a year late writing this review, but we were re-watching our wedding video just last week and I realized that it would be a disservice not to leave Ace19 Media a stellar review! We hired Alex for our wedding after I was able to convince hubby last minute that we NEEDED A VIDEO! During our wedding, we were also in the process of moving to Italy and I was working without a wedding planner - so I feel like our wedding was all over the place! Alex did a truly AMAZING job working with us and all the quirks surrounding our wedding day. He seriously went above and beyond, we had a bit of a wild reception with a band and DJ, broken air conditioning, running behind schedule and probably some other hiccups that I don't currently remember. Alex was so polite, kind, and collected throughout it all. We did the max package and so glad we did. He beautifully captured our wedding ceremony and also caught all of the important moments of our reception. He was able to pick a perfectly upbeat song for our video that matched the energy of our wedding. Other ways he went above and beyond was to deliver the hard drive I purchased with our raw footage + video on it to my Maid of Honor since I had already moved out of the country. I also LOVED the photo he took/used as the opening still image of our video and he emailed it to me. Overall he is really in tune with all of the small details and we are so glad that we decided to choose Ace19 Media! If we ever need video work again for events, I'd hire him again in a flash! -
