Lovely Photography

We secured Sherri with Accent Photography to capture our memories at our wedding in February, and we were very pleased with the quality of their work. Sherri and her husband, her business partner, were professional and reliable, taking a variety of pictures that reflected all of our guests. Not only were we pleased with the quality of the photos, but the wedding CD was quickly developed and available for us to preview. We would not hesitate to hire Accent Photography to take our family portrait in the future or to work another event.

Awesome service!

Accent Photography provides the best service in DMV. Throughout our engagement photos to the wedding ceremony, they've been very professional and warm-hearted. They have a beautiful studio that is made for creating lifetime memories. They provide great picture quality at a very reasonable price when compared to other vendors. They do both video and photos.

Great wedding pictures for a fair price!

Sherri and Jerry were fantastic to work with! They were on time and very patient with all our picture requests and the photos turned out fantastic!!! Sherri was very responsive and helpful during the entire planning process. We would definitely recommend them if you are looking for wonderful photographers for a fair price!

Experience was absolutely amazing

Accent photography was very professional and made sure that everything was perfect for the big day. It was a plus that both Sherri and her husband worked together to get multiple angles of the same photo and for videography.

My wedding

Sherri did an AMAZING job with our pictures and video. She was very prompt in getting them back to us a week after our wedding. And she was the only photographer i could find with an hourly rate. I highly recommend her.

Sherri was more than a photographer, she was a key part of my support system during my 4 month engagement and wedding day. I was extremely nervous about making sure everything went smoothly and she shared details of her own wedding day to help me regroup when I called her in a heightened state of bridal anxiety haha! She was my favorite vendor to work with and she is one of the main reasons I had such a wonderful time at my wedding. She completely followed all of my instructions and is a very reliable and talented artist. I highly recommend her!

Sherri and her husband were great the work with. She was always very prompt with responses and very flexible with our schedules and requests. Also, her husband was so patient with me during my bridezilla moments on the big day.

Their package cost was more than reasonable considering we got 2 photographers for 8 hours which covered getting ready and 3 different locations (hotel, ceremony and reception locations). They captured so many great candid shots in addition to the usual posed shots. I am blown away by the number of amazing shots they captured of our special day that we will treasure forever. Our package also included a 16 by 20 framed photo, a few 8 by 10 prints, a few 5 by 7 prints and 200 4 by 6 prints in addition to 2 parent albums which was great to give to parents to show off to their friends. Our album that was included in the package is gorgeous and completely exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the MD/VA/DC area!

My wedding was 8/20/2016 and it was honestly the best day of my life. Accent Photography made sure that throughout my day I got all the amazing shots I wanted and they made it feel so easy and comfortable during everything. Accent Photography is amazing and if you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further! Sherri and Jerry were truly wonderful and the photos were gorgeous. Sherri and her husband kept things moving but were also calming and warm on the big day. We barely noticed anyone taking pictures during the wedding, but they captured every single moment and more. We got 1900 photos from our wedding and each one was beautiful. I will cherish all the photographs for the rest of my life. Thank you !!!

I found Sherri through a co-worker that used Accent Photography for her wedding. Sherri and Jerry are great and responded really fast to any questions I had. Within a week after my wedding, Sherri posted about 40 pictures on Accent's FB page for us to view, then had all the pictures ready on the online gallery. The pictures are amazing! Definitely recommend using Accent Photography!

Accent Photography was amazing! Sheri has a wonderful eye and artistic vision and makes any backdrop work wonders. When we got our proofs back we found so many pictures we didn't even know they had taken, since they were so unobtrusive. Our guests made a point of telling us how friendly Sheri and her husband were when they talked to them at the reception. Great value!

I cannot be happier with my wedding photos. Sherri & Jerry are friendly, professional and really great at what they do. From the moment they arrived they started to shoot. They were very easy to work with and from the way they operate, it's obvious they've been in the business for a very long time. Great communication as well, they respond to e-mails within hours and answered any questions I had. It was a really good experience and I would highly recommend to anyone.

The value is the best you can find it the Baltimore area, and our pictures came out as good as the guys who cost double! Sheri and her husband are absolutely amazing!! Everyone at my wedding was so impressed by them. Sherri and Jerry were absolutely amazing. They were there before I was and had done pictures of the room and of my husband and his best man. Very easy to work with, and great value! Sherri and her husband were at our house before the time stipulated in the contract, and stayed all the way through the reception. They took quite a few candid photographs that really captured the day and the people. The posed photographs turned out really well too - the subjects sometimes just weren't as playful!
Everyone has enjoyed looking through the photographs and picking out their favorites.

When we were originally meeting for the first time, we had about an inch of sleet come down the night before - they were wonderful about rescheduling for as close to the original date as possible, and were very prompt in responding to emails or phone calls.

I gave them a bit of a shock getting ready - I'd moved most of the furniture the week before the wedding, down to my husband's house - and was sleeping on an air mattress. Sherri was planning on taking pictures there, I think, but rolled with the surprise very nicely and came up with something else very quickly, and without batting an eyelash!

They did a great job for me, and they'll work wonderfully well as part of your event!

Tl;dr - Hire them - they're great!

We absolutely loved Frankie & Dick! So did all of our wedding guests. We got a ton of compliments about them. Everyone couldn't believe that they took the time to get family photos for us. Everyone was shocked! I'm so thankful we chose Accent for our photography. That decision alone definitely made our wedding perfect! I couldn't be happier!

Our wedding was not a very organized event but Sherri and her husband took everything in stride. They managed to get great pictures of a picture-hating groom and did an excellent job with the chaos of the day. Very happy that I found them!

I really appreciated the way they navigated a very small wedding venue. We hardly noticed they were there! They helped us capture the day through wonderful photos. We enjoyed working with these very professional photographers an we appreciated the process of working with them and they got initial proofs to us 2 weeks after the wedding. The only thing that would have been great is brighter exposure on the prints (not noticeable when viewing proofs online) as we are an African American couple and some of the prints were too dark. We had to get our enlarged photos and many photos in album reprinted to brighten exposure.

We chose Accent because we thought that based on their portfolio, they would give us what we were dreaming of and we were right. Photographers Frankie and Dick were so friendly and were great to work with the day of the wedding. We had given them a few picture ideas that we wanted to make sure that we took and told them to get traditional and candid photos and everything turned out great! The price was reasonable and Sherri was great to communicate with.

Sherri and her team were awesome! From the first meeting to the day of the wedding Sherri was professional, friendly, and understanding. Sherri and her husband are great. We couldn't have asked for better. Their prices were great compared to other photographers in this area. You also get two photographers for the price of one! Most importantly, their photos are really impressive. Both my fiance and I are uncomfortable in front of a camera...and it usually shows in our photos. However, Sherri and her husband were able to get a TON of great pictures of us. We were both really really impressed. I would definitely recommend this vendor.

The photographers took great pictures and capture everything that was going on at the time. Plus, there were a lot of pictures taken. They were very kind and friendly to work with. Had great ideas for the photos. Before the event I had sent numerous e-mails to them and they always responded promptly. They were very flexible with the schedule of the wedding. They were also open to hear our ideas of photos we want in certain places. I would highly recommend this company.

Sherry and her husband were amazing!! I had never had professional pictures and they made the experience such a fun one. There experience definitely showed. All of our pictures were outside on very sunny days and they knew exactly how to place us to avoid shadowing and glares. They had an eye for making the pictures original. Picking our favorites was nearly impossible because they were all so different! We had formal pictures as well as fun ones. They really got involved at the reception. Getting groups together and making sure to capture not only us but everyone who shared our day with us. And the value compared to other places I priced was unbelievable! I was almost afraid it was a scam or that the pictures wouldn't be what I wanted but I couldn't have been more wrong and more lucky to find this diamond couple in the rough. They seem to truly love what they do and it shows in their work!! I can not recommend them enough!!

We used Accent Photography for our wedding in June and it was fantastic. They were really creative with the picture formats and captured just about everything that everyone did on camera. It was a joy to see all the moments that we didn't even know happened. We were very pleased with the overall service and quality of the products. We would definitely use them again.

Very excited to have received my wedding album. It looks beautiful!! The pictures are so clear & detailed. They were wonderful to work with. My husband hates having his picture taken, & they knew how to make him feel comfortable that he didn't mind it at all. They talked with us & joked around so we could have fun and be relaxed, yet they were so professional in their manners. I absolutely LOVED working with Accent Photography! I always received email responses within 24 hours of my original email. I didn't even notice the 2 photographers at the wedding ceremony or the reception (when they weren't taking direct pictures of us of course). I am recommending them for my sister-in-law's wedding and I will be hiring them back for any future events that I need a photographer for! Pictures were provided after the wedding sooner than I was expecting. Very pleased with the quality & professionalism of the overall experience. Hire them! You won't be disappointed!

AWESOME is how I'm describing my photos from Sherri w/Accent Photography & Videography. Great value, quality, professionalism and creativity. I searched long for a company that would provide me with what I wanted in addition to photos. Accent fulfilled that request and I was delightfully pleased with my photos when viewed. I decided to purchase the additional photos since it would have been impossible to just pick 300. The pictures are classy, bright, and captured all aspects of my wedding beginning with the preparation to the ceremony, and reception. Nothing was left out. I look forward to receiving my completed package of pictures and photo albums. Accent Photography was a wonderful company to work with. They were very professional & really knew how to work with us. Accent Photography did a super job photographing our wedding day. We knew they would since they did a super job taking our engagement pictures. We had fun working with them all the way through. We had a fantastic experience with Accent Photography.The entire day went very well thanks to their professional attitude and patience. They took the time to work with us yet they were quick enough not to hold us up taking pictures. We are very satisfied with Accent for their professionalism and the great pictues and video. We almost didn't do the video, but Sherry showed us a sample and we decided it would be something we would love to have so with the bridal regisery they have, we were able to fit it into the budget. oh and we love our albums!

We got married 2 months ago & we were asked to write a review from Sheri at Accent phot and video. Here is my review. They were so good to work with us. We felt comfotable around them. We just love the all the pictures and the video. They captured the whole day and were unobtrusive. We liked that they took mostly candids but we still had some formal pictures too. The video has been fun to watch. We like all the photo montage that they included. We want to say thank you.

Hi. My husband and I just got married and we just got our photo CD and the pictures online. We found Accent Photography at a bridal show and were immediately impressed with the albums & with Sherri's personality. The prices and packages were so reasonable and their work looked just as good as the more expensive photographers. After our wedding we were amazed that they took so many pictures & they all looked so good that it took us a long time to choose which ones we wanted for our albums. They did a great job for us and we are very happy.

Accent Photography was everything we were looking for in a wedding photographer and MUCH more. Not only are they an incredible value (getting two photographers included with the packages!) but they were extremely professional, friendly and flexible. Our guests raved about them after our event as well! The pictures look fantastic and we received them less than 2 weeks after the ceremony while we were on our honeymoon! It was such a fun surprise to come home to! I highly recommend working with Accent Photography for your wedding pictures and/or videos!

by the time we found your company for our video we already had a photographer. we wished we found you first because you did a great job making our video & i know the pictures would have been just as good. My husband and I are very pleased with the pictures including the album for us as well as our parents. The video was great. Even though we were extremely hot due to weather you could not tell in the pictures which was great. Sherri was very easy to work with and accommodating. The value of the pic far exceeds the price.

Accent photography was very easy to work with. It was nice working with normal people instead of through a big company. They listened to all our ideas and were receptive to what we wanted. Quality of pictures is good for price paid. Would recommend. Team was good at allowing others to take pictures but then intervening when necessary so it wouldn't affect the quality of the photographs they were taking

The photographers for our wedding were great. They were very knowledgable and did everything they could to make sure we looked our best. However there is one thing all brides and grooms should know. You're going to hate smiling before the end of the night.

A few pictures I loved but the background wasn't checked before taking the pictures. One of my girls and I with garage door opened behind us and one of myself with a trash can in view behind me. (There was a photographer training so those pictures may be his but just something to keep in mind.) other than that, great pictures and great service!

Overall Accent Photography was very good to work with. We were able to get some great wedding shots. Some pictures were a bit disappointing due to the placement of the people in the picture and some key pictures from the day were not taken (first kiss and a picture of the groom with groomsmen). The second photographer was a bit commanding and this offended several of the guests throughout the evening. I think he was just trying to get everyone where they needed to be. Sherri was great to communicate with throughout the planning process. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the pictures were available to view and order (2 weeks after the wedding, 2 months for the albums). I would and have recommended this vendor to other couples.

Arrived on time. Pictures came out beautiful. I had just wished the photographer was a little more invisible, meaning we had to keep stopping what we were doing to " get the shot". I have been in weddings before where you hardly knew the photographer was around. I understand posing for pictures but to keep pausing at reception was a bit much. With that being said the work is beautiful so I would recommend from that stand point.

This photographer was considerably cheap compared to others in the area. However, you get what you pay for. The pictures were okay. I'm not too disappointed, but they could have been much better. I didn't meet the photographer until my wedding day. And he showed up with a so-called assistant who didn't speak English and seemed to get in the way more than anything. What I liked about this photographer was that they were more traditional from the poses they used to the albums and frames they gave me my pictures in.

Our wedding day was a beautiful day and a spectacular setting. Yet Sherri and her husband could not capture that day for us. Their photos were equivalent in framing and artistic quality to photographs taken by our guests. So many disappointing shots! They just lacked the eye of a professionally trained photographer. Hard to believe that the photos in their studio are really their work. It was so disappointing to watch our wedding video and find that Dan's face wasnt captured at all during the ceremony. For our family photos, they were taking photos of us from two angles, obviously each photo captures people looking at different directions. Friends and family who have seen our photos have expressed the same disappointment. Its too bad for us since we cant recreate that day again. So proceed with caution if you decide to go with this vendor.
