This company is beyond amazing!! Deric did an incredible job at my wedding. The guests loved him and so did we!! By far the BEST WEDDING DJ EVER! He gave structure to the night without it feeling rushed!

My husband and I come from big families that love to dance so we knew we had to pull out all the stops when it came to the music for our reception. We chose Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment and worked with Deric (who was our wedding DJ) because of his incredible passion for what he does. Deric knows how to get and keep a crowd on the dance floor, our reception never had less than about 30 people dancing at all times- I have been told by countless people that our wedding was the most fun wedding they've ever been too and I believe a large part of that can be credited to Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment because our guests danced the night away!

Wedding 9/19/20

Absolutely unbelievable entertainment was truly unbelievable. Guests danced the entire evening and didn't stop until our wedding was over. No one wanted the reception to end ! We received compliments all evening on the music and the DJ. The music was fun, "dancey" , and enjoyable for guests of all ages. Highly recommend them for a wedding reception or any event that you are looking for your guests to dance the entire night away!

Rave reviews throughout the night from our guests. Our wedding reception was held at Normany Party Center in Wickliffe on the weekend of July 4th 2017. Prior to the event we had met with Deric three times. First meeting, was basically to meet him and see if he would be the right DJ for us. Second meeting was to meticulously plan the evening minute by minute. And because we had specific requests for our music and our entrance, we met him a third time. In the third meeting I gave him some CDs that I had made, containing the cocktail music we wanted, entrance music we wanted, and some obscure European dance music that isn't easily found. As you can tell we had a lot of special requests of Deric. From our introductions, till the last call, we had specific requests for him. He reminded us throughout the planning process that it was our evening, and he would do what ever it took to accommodate our requests. We even had him share the music duties with a live band. Deric managed the whole evening flawlessly. He mixed in our European 80's dance music, 90's freestyle and Thai dance music to contemporary music throughout the night. That by itself is a feat. But for him to bring the energy as an MC to keep the dance floor packed and everyone having fun all night was amazing. Throughout the night our guests let us know how impressed they were of the job he was doing. If you are reading this review, I hope the point you take away is that Deric is a true seasoned professional. Weird special requests didn't phase him. But at the same time, his experience allows him to anticipate any issues right away and bring them to your attention. Listen to his suggestions and advice. This man knows what he's doing! Aside from my long list of requests, I feel like Deric took care of everything! He totally did his part and more to make our evening a blast! Our guests are still talking about it! We totally recommend his services!

Awesome DJ

Unbelievable Entertainment was a really awesome company to work with for our wedding. DJ Steve was great and worked with us and the crowd we had. It was a really great experience and I would highly Recommend.

Picking Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment as our DJ service was one of the best choices my husband and I made for our wedding! We had seen Deric perform at a different wedding and knew right away that we wanted him to be the dj at our wedding. Deric was very easy to work with and actually sat down with us for over an hour to go over the order of the reception and song choices. If we were unsure about what song to pick for any part of the reception, he definitely had plenty of suggestions! He also allowed us to bring a cd with two songs we definitely wanted but he didn't have in his library. During the reception, Deric paid attention to the crowd and kept the music going based on who was on the dance floor. It was a great party atmosphere. Although the wedding was one month ago, we still are thrilled with the way the wedding turned out and the music definitely contributed to that!

Steve was absolutely amazing for our ceremony and reception! Everyone had such an amazing time and I’m still getting compliments in how fun it was! Kelly did great running the photo booth and everyone had so much fun!

Hands Down..... Fabulous!!!

I can't thank Absolutely Unbelievable Ent. enough for the spectacular job they did for my wedding. Derek was fantastic. He has a very professional approach to the whole process and my outline was impeccable. He is knowledgeable in the business and my day wouldn't have been as amazing without him. The prices were fantastic with top notch service. The Photobooth was a hit and the pictures from them are amazing! So glad we opted for it. Highly recommend this vendor! Had a small guest list and due to covid19, had guests cancel, and it was still a blast. Only 39 ppl attended and I am still amazed and overwhelmed by the joy I had and still feel from that day. Don't pass this vendor up!

Our Wedding 9-9-22

I first met Deric when he was providing karaoke nights at a bar that I worked at, and it was always top notch.
From the point we hired Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment for our wedding, Deric was always 100% with us. The attention to our needs and his experience with filling in the blanks on what my wife and I couldn't decide on is non-comparable.
We could not have asked for a better DJ to make our night truly beautiful.
Our wedding was a small wedding, but Deric's upbeat tempo was able to make a small wedding feel like a city-wide party!
I would truly recommend to anyone looking for a great service and perfect experience.

This company was amazing. Deric is very professional and know what the guests want to make a reception fun. Deric at Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment was great! Our dance floor was filled the entire night - not easy with a family that loves polkas! Our guests are still talking about how fabulous the DJ was! We also used Deric for uplighting - it was beautiful - and a photo booth. My husband and I debated back and forth about getting a photo booth. We were worried that with only 65 guests it might not be worth the expense. We are extremely happy that we went with the photo booth - we have over 400 photos with such a small wedding. If our guests weren't on the dance floor, they were in the photo booth. At the end of the night Deric gives you an album with all the pictures and a thumb drive.

Deric was nothing short of absolutely unbelievable!

Or experience with Deric was fantastic, he responded to our inquiry within minutes with a phone call and answered all of our questions. And then some
He had us straight away with his personality.

We meet with him to go over every minute of the night and pick out all of our music,
Deric will work with you and play what you want but will strongly advise you with what will keep people on the dance floor

And did they ever. Wedding of around 200
Long stretches with at least 50 dancers. At no point was the dance floor close to empty

Deric was professional at every step of the way and made the night go smoothly
I would highly recommend him and his service to anyone

My wedding was Oct 6th and our DJ was Steve. He was very professional and wonderful DJ. By the end of the night Steve was just like family, he was kind and helpful. Deric lives up to his name as "Absolutely Unbelievable" because he was the DJ at my wedding in July! Deric has a passion for what he does and it shows which you don't see often enough in the business world. My fiance lived in San Antonio and Deric spent 1 1/2 hours with us on a conference call so we could develop the timeline and select music preferences. He offered great ideas and suggestions. We had an international parade of deserts and he played music for each desert and country represented. We gave him CDs for some of the countries as we walked into the reception and he did a great job at selecting music clips (especially at the last minute)! The majority of our guests were still present and dancing at the end of the evening (at midnight)!! I wish I had extended the reception. I knew I didn't have to worry about anything pertaining to my reception music and would highly recommend Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment. They were great! The music truly makes the difference between a good and great reception!

Our DJ, Ian, was one of the most helpful, professional and curteous people we dealt with during the planning of and evening of our wedding! He made it a point to really get to know my husband and I, and even introduced himself to the wedding party, offering to help in any way he was needed. He played a variety of music, so there was always something that everyone could dance to, and he didn't do a whole lot of talking unless it was to say something kind or funny (one of our DJ pet peeves!). We would absolutely recommend Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment (and Ian) for any wedding!

These guys did a great job. We went with the ultimate package...definitely worth it!!! The DJ had our dance floor filled the entire night. We've gotten numerous calls afterwards from people telling us how amazing a time they had at our reception and that it was one of the best they've been to.

Deric from Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment was the DJ for our wedding on December 4, 2010. I talked to Deric on the phone prior to signing the contract. He provided all the details and answered my questions which made me feel confident that we were making the right decision hiring him. We met with him in person a few weeks before the wedding. Deric worked with us on a timeline for the reception and we discussed songs to play and not play. Our wedding was amazing and Deric was a big part of it. The music was great and he kept the timeline moving. The party really got started around 11:00 and we decided to keep it going until 1:00. Deric was happy to accomodate us with the extra hour and we really appreciated it. I would highly recommend Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ.

Just like the name says, Absolutely Unbelieveable Entertainmaent!!!
Words cannot express how happy we were with choosing Deric!! He was professional, knowledgeable and helpful from the start of planning our reception to the end!!!
He kept our reception moving and fun from 6 to 12. The music at cocktail hour was perfect, dinner music was just as my mom had planned and dance music was spectacular!! Our dance floor was never empty or bare, we had many people dancing the whole night!

The photobooth was huge!! The selection of props were wonderful!! The pics were great! ! And, it was never empty either!!!

The uplighting, GOBO lighting and special lighting affects were perfect!! Our professional pics of the reception look wonderful!!

Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment was amazing! My husband and I met with them through a recommendation and we were so thrilled to have them at our event. Deric sat down with us and planned a detail script of the entire reception, which made it so easy on our photographers and us to know what was going on. A detailed do and do not play list ; which our DJ (Larry) actually followed!! We also rented a photobooth from them. It was the best price we could find, along with the most services. Unlimited pictures, prints for our guests and our scrapbook, and a flashdrive of all the pictures that we received in the mail in just 3 days! They truly are Absolutely Unbelievable!! I would book them again for another event and recommend them in a heart beat. Thank you again guys! You made our night amazing for us and our guests!

Best night of our life!

Derek helped shape so much of the wedding from day one for us. We got to meet and thoroughly discuss how the night would go down to the minute... which helped not only guide us but our other vendors and family as well for the event.

The day of the wedding : everything was set up ready to go and worry free by the time we were getting ready for the ceremony taking one less stressful item off the checklist. Everything went flawlessly.

When it got to dance time Derek could realy read the room and had the party going from the first song. We had so many compliments from family and friends both old and young. The dj kept order through the night and was truly a master of ceremonies and even provided score updates in a very classy manner for the Guardians game through the night. Everyone danced the night away and we were sad when the party ended we were ready to dance until the sun came up. 10/10 5 stars 100% G R E A T DJ! and best part of all , it was a very fair price.

D.J Deric was 100% the best!

Deric did our wedding, and we knew we wanted him because he did all of my husband's siblings' weddings. He was so amazing at our consultation and had our day planned down to the minute! I actually took the timeline he created and gave it to the photographer and the caterer. He really read the crowd and ended the night with a song we thought was going to be played during the cocktail hour, but he saved it for the last song of the night as a surprise for us. Just in case you were wondering, it was "Burn On" by Randy Newman.

They were incredible to work with from start to finish. The dance floor was crowded all night long! They played so much stuff that kept people dancing and mixed up the order so it never got boring. They truly made us feel so special on our big day. Deric was quick to respond to all my calls and answered all my questions. The in person meeting a few weeks before the wedding cannot be overvalued. He even knew the venue and made lighting recommendations based on his experience. That helped so much. It made us so much more comfortable knowing the timeline and that our music preferences were being considered. The price was sooo much lower than we expected for the quality! We got so many compliments about the music. They kept people out on the dance floor until the very last song. Thanks for the perfect celebration!

I was very satisfied with Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment. They were very professional and cared about my wedding. Deric listens to the type of wedding you are going for and then makes it his mission to create that. He did an excellent job at our wedding and we got many compliments from our guests. From jump street I had a good feeling about our initial meeting with Deric. He exudes confidence, professionalism, and sincerity and I had faith in him from the beginning. He met with us multiple times to make sure we were all on the same page with our vision for how we wanted the room to look and for the experience we wanted our guests to encounter.

He allowed me to meticulously construct our playlist (as I'm kind of music Nazi at times) and encouraged us to select songs from different genres to appeal to all age groups. And he supported our wishes to allow the music to build throughout the evening from easy listening to Super Dance Party 2014 by nights' end. Thankfully he also asked what we didn't want to hear and we mentioned no hillbilly country music, lame line dances, or Cher/Celine Dion/B-52s as they're all terrible.

At our final meeting, we spent a few hours together laying out a timeline for the day which allowed Deric to map out times for when we were doing the cake cutting, the introductions, the speeches, etc. This was awesome as it took the stress off of us as bride and groom to know when we had to be where and at what time. Deric guided us along throughout our reception to keep us on point and we always knew where we needed to be and at what time. This organizational efficiency was essential on our big day.

The photo booth operator was also very friendly and easygoing and the props Deric provides are first class and an incredible variety. The photo strip book we got at the end of the night was hilarious.

Most of all, Deric rocked the house with his charisma and showmanship. I heard nothing but positive feedback from my guests about how awesome Deric was on the mic and how entertaining he is. He cracked great jokes, played off the crowd and was spontaneous when necessary. This guy is a king in my opinion and he should be at the top of your list when considering the DJ for your big day. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Great Experience

We found out about Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment at a local bridal show and Deric was fun to talk to and the games to win trips to take as a couple paired with the price being something we could definitely fit in our budget made choosing easy. The night was so much fun !

Absolutely Unbelievable! Deric was our DJ for our weddingon November 3, 2012. We also had a photo booth for our reception. He played great music and the dance floor was full all night. My husband who never dances danced ALL Night long!! We had a blast! The photo booth was a hit!! The props were awesome! We even took home an album of everyone's photos that night. We enjoyed looking through it the next morning, Hilarious! We met with Deric a few weeks prior to the wedding to make a time line, in person which really made us feel like we planned the whole night. Deric did a fantastic job at our wedding! Very knowledgable on music, and very professional. He kept the whole night on track, and everything ran smoothly. The dance floor was packed the whole night till 12am! He offers cold sparklers- ADD THEM!! They were a hit! 10/10!

Everything went flawless

Coronavirus bride here, which was stressful enough, but mid way through our wedding planning we moved 3 hours away. Deric, the owner, was more than willing to make it all work, he is quick to respond and very knowledgeable. We used absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment for both ceremony and reception and they both went beautifully. It's been 2 weeks and people are still commenting on the DJ's voice, he definitely is in the right business! He played all our songs, and found a remix to our garter removal that I actually liked better than the original picked. The uplighting was very well done and would choose that part of the package over again hands down . We booked Deric from a bridal show and I would not hesitate to do it again!

Derick was terrific to work with for the past few months. Great recommendations, great equipment, dance floor was always full with enthusiastic dancers. Sad to see 11 PM come sooo quickly. Our guests did not want to leave. Thanks for making my daughter's wedding reception awesome.

Could not be happier with our experience with Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment! Our dance floor was hopping all night - he played all the songs we had discussed and the lights were so much fun. It was an absolute blast. Deric sits down with you a few weeks before your wedding and goes through every genre of music and you pick which songs you want played - he makes great suggestions from his years of experience in the industry. We played a wide variety of music, starting with oldies for the older crowd (but still songs that young people love too) and then eventually moved our way into the top 40s, rap, etc for the young crowd. Deric is also an experienced MC and was so helpful at planning the timeline of our reception and was great at moving things along to keep the night on pace. Not to mention, he gave us an AMAZING deal for the package we selected. Couldn't recommend more. Thank you so much, Deric!!!

If you're looking for a DJ who can turn any event into an unforgettable dance party, look no further! We used this company at our wedding, and they knocked it out of the park! Everything was very professional and both the DJ and the photo booth operator (Deric Langton & Christine in the Photo Booth) were extremely friendly. Great experience!

Deric and Mike did a wonderful job with our wedding. Deric was extremely knowledgeable about every genre of music and was able to help us create well-rounded playlists for cocktail hour, the dinner, and the dancing. We were grateful to work with someone who was experienced, personable, and patient. He also helped us create a timeline down to the minute to keep things running smoothly and on time. Mike did the actual DJ-ing at the wedding and he was wonderful to work with, kept our guests on the dance floor, and kept us on schedule. He had never worked at our venue before and everything still went perfectly. Thank you to Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment!

A quality DJ that helped make our day special

I have only good things to say about our experience with Deric from Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment! We first experienced Deric's talent at LaVera Party Center New Years Eve and later on at a friends wedding. When it was time to look for a DJ we knew Deric would be a great fit because we already knew how good he was! Deric is very organized and really helped with the timeline of the ceremony and reception to keep things running smoothly. Two weeks before the wedding we had a meeting to really customize our playlist and to establish a do not play list. Deric has a great selection of music from all genres that gets people out on the dance floor and keeps them there. Deric has an amazing announcers voice that really made for an awesome grand entrance. The package my husband and I got included uplighting and a light show and it made the venue look awesome once the house lights were turned down! I also recommend getting the photobooth, our guests really had a great time taking fun pictures with friends and family. At the end of the night Deric had the photobooth album ready as digital files for us to take home and enjoy. We strongly recommend Deric and his company for a fun, professional, and truly awesome party!

I knew I wanted to use Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment before I was even engaged. The best wedding I ever attended was because the DJ was amazing and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night!! I looked through her pictures and noticed the name Unbelievable Entertainment in front of the DJ. I knew I had to use them.

They really do live up to their name. Deric was absolutely amazing and I got so many compliments on how great the DJ and music was. He really knew how to get people up and dancing regardless of their age and music preference; he catered to everyone! Everyone told me my wedding was the best they ever attended. I owe a lot of it to Deric. He also went out of his way to accommodate our requests. For example, my husband sang a song to me midway through and coordinated this with Deric, after our grand entrance he played the harlem shake and a lot of our guests joined us on the dance floor and he listened to me when I told him to stop letting the best man request songs! Also, his up lighting and lasers were amazing!! I was in awe when I entered the room the night of the wedding. Not only is he an amazing DJ but he is also really passionate about his work (just wait until you hear his DJ voice). I truly believe a DJ can make or break a wedding; so if you really want a great DJ and an unforgettable night go with Unbelievable Entertainment!!!

absolutely amazing!! So Helpful! highly recommend!

Deric was so very helpful and kind when it came to planning our wedding music and outline. We were what they call a COVID wedding and between date changes, venue changes, guest list uncertainty and everything in between Deric helped us through the way and helped make our night unforgettable. DJ Mike was amazingly helpful between everything that was going askew. He even gave us the cue for my Dad and I to walk down because one of our flower girls was very shy. We got many compliments saying that we had the most amazing mix of music at a wedding that people have ever heard. This was because Deric will help you make an entire "music menu" and really get what you like. I cannot stress enough how helpful these gentlemen were through one of the most stressful times of our life. They truly helped us make an absolutely unbelievable wedding :) I also wanted to add that our venue we ended up landing on was new to them and us and everything turned out perfect. Thank you Deric and Mike I will always recommend y'all!

My co-worker suggested I use Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment as my DJ. She was catering a wedding at the German Club in Olmsted Falls and got his business card. She told me that the dance floor was rocking and he was a lot of fun. I ended up calling Deric Langton and meeting him. Come to find out my cousin who got married a couple years ago, also used him as his DJ. He was very professional and outlined everything as we had wanted it. He was very organized and flexible. We chose the Ultimate Jam package and he was our DJ. BOY were we lucky. He had the dance floor jamming and played the songs we had requested. I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the sound of the music, the lights and the GOBO. THE GOBO we picked was the "name and date." That was on the floor and or wall the entire night. If you want to have a good time, you need to chose this company!!! :)

Our wedding was just last night and we loved Deric and his company! Our meeting with him last month to go over songs and put together a timeline really put my mind at ease knowing he knew what he was doing and had a plan for the night! He gave very good suggestions and still incorporated songs we wanted to hear and people wanted to dance to which made for a seamless perfect night! He has a great speaking voice and a professional operation. He did music for our ceremony and reception and both went great. Our venue told us the next morning they had never hosted such a lively crowd before and I believe that had a lot to do with Deric's organization. He played songs in a way that made everyone want to dance....even people we didn't expect to be dancing and enjoying themselves. I had a few last minute changes with our original timeline and he had no problem making the changes for me. Thank you Deric for being an awesome DJ! Highly recommend!

Our daughters wedding was amazing and Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment had a big part in that. Deric was our DJ and he covered all the bases to make sure the happy couple got exactly what they wanted and none of what they didn't. The dance floor was full the whole evening and now, 6 weeks later, people are still telling us how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Hire them and you won't be disappointed.

Deric did an amazing job with our wedding reception at the Shoreby Club in June. Our guests are still talking about how fun the reception was and how they danced all night long. Before our reception, we met with Deric to discuss music to be played and a no play list. In addition, we identified songs that we liked. Deric also went over the evening's timeline. Exceptional Professionalism and Expertise

You can tell Deric has been doing this a long time. He helped us craft a timeline for our ceremony and reception all remotely while we lived in Austin, TX. While he preferred to do contracts physically (a lot of folks use eSign now), everything else was able to be done remote w/o much inconvenience. He was a great MC. I highly recommend adding on the photo booth for your event. It was the best ~$600 we spent. It came with a scrapbook of all the strips, and every photograph was given digitally as well. Awesome value.

Deric is absolutey professional with his service & delivery. He spent a lot of time helping my husband and I to craft the reception music timeline. He was very passionate about his job and is also very energetic. He works with you on what the bride and groom wants and the light show he creates is so neat!! He also did a great job 'herding the group' during the reception when the time was necessary and to get the group back on track =) He also kept my guests dancing all night long. My husband is not a dancer, but somehow Deric got him dancing all night and he came home complaining about how tired his feet were lol.

Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment RAVE REVIEW :)

We used Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment for our wedding March 2025. I have NOTHING but kind things to say about the staff and the services they provided us with. We used the Monster Plus Wedding Package, which included lighting. We also booked their photobooth and cold sparklers, which the guests absolutely LOVED. We left the night of our wedding with our pictures from the photobooth, which was great because we got to look at our pictures the next day!
From the start, owner Deric L. was super kind, helpful and thorough. He put some much time into every detail and was a HUGE help to us in creating our wedding timeline. I believe Steve was our actual MC/DJ and he was great, super friendly and definitely knew how to keep the party going! Everything was great and I would absolutely use Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment again in the future and recommend them to any person who is seeking a DJ.

Absolutely Unbelievable!!

Just like their name- this company was Absolutely Unbelievable every step of the way! I knew Deric because he was the DJ for two of my best friends weddings. I knew he would be perfect for mine! After contacting him he had us come in and view/experience his equipment. This was great because we knew exactly what we were getting. We saw the lights, heard the quality of the sound equipment and saw the props for the Photobooth. Deric gave us a great deal and we picked out our gobo (name in lights), purple uplights, music package, and photo booth. He had worked at our chosen venue several times before so he knew exactly which music package would be best without overpowering the room. We met with him again to choose songs and he knew what music was popular to play but also took down our requests. The day of our wedding he was there early to set up the room. He played music for our ceremony, played music at cocktail hour, and had the best announcer voice for our basketball-theme entrance. The photobooth had quality items from his travels around the nation and included authentic Disney props. Everyone loved the Photobooth and that was a big hit seeing all of the photos our guests took that were collected for us in a scrapbook. He expertly and professionally led the entire evening and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I have never been to a wedding where the dance floor was packed all night and that was exactly what happened at our wedding! When I was dancing he played my favorite songs and everyone was having the best time!! After the wedding many people raved about the experience, the music, the DJ and I would recommend him to everyone who wants to keep the party going and people dancing all night! You won't forget it!!

Deric assigned Dave as our DJ for our wedding at the Crowne Plaza. Dave was absolutely phenomenal. The dance floor was packed literally the entire night. It was exactly what we wanted. Derrick was amazing! Not only did he do my sisters wedding and I knew I needed to have him for mine! But he remembered my sister and dad from their father daughter dance 7 years ago!!!! Everyone said that our wedding was the best wedding they had been to in a long time !!! I had a blast ! Thank you so much for everything ! The photo book from the photobooth is absolutely amazing ! And I’m so happy I have that to remember all of my guests , especially the ones I didn’t get to stop and talk to! We booked Deric at AUE over a year in advance. He did my now wife's brother's wedding. It was by far the most fun wedding we had ever been to. Boy was it worth it, skipping head to the actual wedding, Deric knew exactly how to keep the dance floor packed!!!! With all bias aside this was the best wedding we've ever been to!!!!!! We met with Deric twice, once to meet and give him an idea of what we ere looking for. One month before the wedding we met, we had no idea what to expect, 2 hours later after planning and literally just shooting the breeze, our wedding was planned. Every second from 6pm until 12am was thoroughly planned out and his plans went off perfectly. My favorite part of his system is the way he spells out your names just so he assures no mistakes will be made. Like my groomsman last name, McKeever. He spells it out Mick - Keever...Very clever. Simply put, extremely professional, ridiculously professional!!!! Could not have made a better choice from the man, to the music, to the sound system, and lighting. Get the top package, the money is worth it for the best night of everyone's life!!!!!

This past Saturday, July 14th, I had my wedding at Pine Ridge Country Club. I was very particular when deciding on which DJ service to go with. I came across Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment at a wedding event in the area and I knew right away how great he was. Right off the bat, I won a trip to multiple different locations within the U.S. and free uplighting to use at my ceremony. Deric was very flexible and offered me and my husband a great package for a great value! He sat down with us and went over every specific detail for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He stuck with the music that we decided on and got everyone onto the dance floor! It was unbelievable how great he was! He was very professional and reliable. I highly recommend anyone who wants to have a nice smooth ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to select him for your wedding. You won't be disappointed!!!

Speaking as a Wedding Dj myself I have been in the business for a little over 5 years. I have a few friends who are also in the Dj business. I chose to forgo having my friends Dj which would have been for practically free and invested in Derick. He is a great guy and is very easy to work with. In regards to my opinion of his performance it was great. He played songs that people know and love but not the corny wedding songs you hear all the time( ymca, chicken dance Etc) He was good about listening to what we wanted and made sure that everyone was happy. Our floor was packed almost the entire night! The Staff at Al Koran Shriner hall could not believe how packed the floor stayed people of all ages were up and dancing.I actually to this day use some of Dericks best demonstrated practices to help me in my own business. I made a Cd of Vitamin String Quartet for him which he graciously played no questions asked. He brought his top package light show the Ultimate Jam which was awesome! I would highly recommend this DJ for even the hard to please crowd!

All I can say is if you want a DJ that will keep the party going and the guests continuously on the dance floor, Absolutely Unbelievable and Deric Langton is your DJ. From the minute I talked with Deric over the phone, I knew he had to be my DJ. He was full of energy, had me laughing, and had years of experience with playing music for weddings. Deric was always quick to respond to my emails and was open to any suggestions or music choices my husband and I had. For example, my little brother made him cd’s of music to play during dinner and he played all of them. Many of our guests commented on the variety of music Deric played, he hit all ages and genres. Deric also has a radio voice that grabs your attention and wanting more. I kept hearing throughout the night, “Best DJ Ever.” I honestly can say that I do not think there was a time in the wedding that the dance floor was not full. Don’t pass him up, your wedding night will not be the same without him as your master of ceremonies.

AUE best choice for Dj

David and I were blessed to have Deric with AUE as our DJ for our wedding. We cannot say enough great things about him. He was very responsive to any questions we had prior to. Deric helped with a timeline for the night and we stayed right on track. Deric provided great music and fun for the entire evening and kept the dance floor alive. We had so many people tell us after our wedding that our DJ was awesome. If you are undecided on picking a DJ look no more. Deric with AUE is who you need.

Absolutely unbelievable entertainment!!! Their name matches!

I met deric at my sisters wedding 10 years ago. The best wedding ecwption EVER-people are still talking about it! over the years I've had the pleasure of attending other events with them. And just a few weeks ago we had my daughter's bat mitzvah! I knew they would do great but great is an UNDERSTATEMENT! the lights and logo and enthusiasm and professionalism....and the fireworks!!!! The games and prizes and photobooth!!! All talk of the town! We will be in Celebration Magazine for party of the year...and the fireworks were the hit of the night! I'd recommend him for weddings bar and bat mitzvahs, all events. Deric you are fantastic!

Amazing!!! Class Act All The Way!!! Highly Recommend!!!

We checked out quite a few different DJ's and photo booth options for our wedding, and ultimately chose Deric and Absolutely Unbelieveable Entertainment for both. We were impressed with the time and effort that went into his work, and really appreciated the process and rationale behind how he helped curate the schedule for the evening as well as the playlist. The whole process he had for putting everything together showed that he has been doing this for a long time and has mastered his craft well. His suggestions and recommendations regarding scheduling helped us feel confident in not paying extra $ for a wedding planner/day-of coordinator, and we were not disappointed! We were uncertain if we wanted to have lazers/lights on our dance floor and were prepared to ask to have them turned off if we did not like them, but they were awesome, and we were very happy that they were provided as part of our package. The uplights that they provided were wonderful and helped add a special touch to our already amazing venue (Windows on the River- City View Room).
*We had also been to other weddings where the DJ booth looked like a giant advertisement for the DJ company, and were very happy to see that he only had a small modest sign off to the side. Enough to provide information for those that wanted it, but nothing that would attract attention or take away from our special day.

We also wanted a high-quality picture booth that had both color and black & white options and also printed in traditional strips instead of 4×6 photo sheets like many do nowadays. After checking out many others, this was the highest resolution image we were able to find anywhere, with a huge selection of (high quality) props and accessories to go along with it. After our wedding it was so fun to look through the beautiful album they provided that contained a copy of every single photo strip taken, along with the personalized comments each of our guests wrote to us. We also like that they provided a thumb drive of all the pictures, so we can share them digitally.

All in all, we were extremely happy that we entrusted Deric and Absolutely Unbelieveable Entertainment to play such a large and important role in our wedding. It ended up being the single happiest day in my entire life, and we could not be happier with our choice!

We had the pleasure of having the owner do our wedding. Everything was amazing. He kept the dance floor full at all times. He sat down with us a month prior to the wedding and planned everything down to the minute. The night flowed so smoothly, we didn't have to pay attention to what was supposed to happen next, he lead the whole night for us. The photo booth was also amazing. We were given a photo album at the end of the night with a copy of all the picks that were taken, and the album was beautiful. All of our guests had such an awesome time. Well worth the money!! Deric did our wedding @ the Embassy Suites in Independence and did a fabulous job! He is very thorough in your music selection and gives great advice as to how to keep your guests on the dance floor. Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment is a great DJ to go with for your wedding. Deric was easy to work with in coordinating everything for our wedding and he always gets back to you right away. We had Chris as our DJ for our wedding at City Hall and we also went with their photobooth. City Hall can tend to echo but Chris did a great job making the music sound good all night. I definitely recommend using them as your DJ for your wedding and their prices are fair for the great DJ you are getting.

We booked Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment after seeing Deric DJ at a wedding we went to on New Years Eve - At that wedding - nearly ever person was out on the dance floor till the very end of the night- After being at that wedding - we knew then we wanted this company at our own Wedding. From the start - Deric was wonderful to work with - ensuring us that the entertainment was nothing to worry about. A few weeks before the wedding - Deric sat down with us and planned out the whole night from start to finish minute by minute on a time line. He let us be included in the decision making for songs - but offered lots of advice to help guide us in the right direction to make sure we include all genres - and make sure we played music for all age groups. I felt so comfortable knowing that the entertainment was all taken care of. Deric was very knowledgeable about the way to plan a perfect reception. Our wedding was a blast - and I thank Deric and his Absolutely Unbelieveable Entertainment. He was a wonderful Master of Ceremony - and we also had tons of people on the dance floor till the end of the night as well. I attribute the success of our reception to Deric and his company. My wedding was the best day of my life for several reasons, most importantly because I married my best friend. On the top of that list would be my extreme satisfaction with our DJ - Derec. I was so impressed with the quality of service, from the music we requested during dinner, to the last song at the reception, everyone loved the entertainment! Derec made sure the crowd was dancing from beginning to end, reading the energy level, and alternating slow and fast songs. All of my family and friends were on the dance floor enjoying themselves, and several people my husband and I expected to leave early, stayed until the end because they were having such a great time. I never had a better night, dancing, even singing one song, in all of my life. Derec's energy and voice made my reception experience, as well as my guest's experience so WONDERFUL!!! I also liked how he was sure to have a detailed meeting with my husband and I about how the night was going to progress, going through all genres of songs, and took the time to know our specific taste. I highly recommend Derec.

DJ Services

Deric was a great DJ! From our first meeting a year before our wedding, to the final song of our reception, Deric was always in communication with us to make sure it was the way my wife and I wanted. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy throughout the entire planning process. Deric gives you a great detailed timeline of how the night will go, which was a big help to us. Most importantly, Deric had the entire dance floor packed all night! We had about 300 people in attendance, and all of them seemed very pleased with the music selection! We got to pick the songs we wanted him to play, but the best part was he read the crowd and kept the dance floor going all night. The photo booth was a great touch as it was another great form of entertainment that Deric offers. The props he brings are incredible! With Deric, you are getting a great, reliable DJ. 10/10 recommend!

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the service that Deric, Chris, and everyone at Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment provided us with. It took a very short time meeting with Deric for me to know that we had found our DJ. We actually booked him before we had an official date for the wedding. This is a man/company who understands EVERYTHING about how to DJ a wedding; from the music outline, to the positioning of the speakers, to the psychology of playing the music and maximizing the amount of fun your guests will have. Everything was flawless. I had a special song made for our first dance (which was a surprise to my wife) and Deric was very flexible and understanding with accommodating that request for me.

Chris was our DJ on the day of the wedding and did a fantastic job. I do not remember the name of the lady who ran the photobooth but she was also very accommodating and I believe stayed open longer than we had scheduled so that we could get pictures with all the groups we wanted in there. The photo book came out amazing as well.

I had NO fears about the DJ/music/production of the reception going into it and they went above and beyond my expectations. Could not be happier with our choice. Thank you very much to Chris and Deric. If you want to guarantee your guests have the time of their lives at your reception, book this company!

As soon as I met Deric at one of the Bridal fair's i went to, i knew i wanted him to be our guy!
I wasnt thrilled about the prices because the wedding was already more then we originally planned but Deric was great at letting us pay here and there, the amounts we could, until we had it paid off. (helped booking him a year in advance)
Anyways, at first glance i realized some of his equipment was a little out dated but none the less i stuck to my guns and we ended up going with the top package we could just so we could get him at our wedding. IT WAS PERFECT! he was amazing and everyone is still talking about how fun our wedding was!! The only thing i wish we did differently was getting the bouquet toss and garter toss out of the way right after the special dances. The reason for this is so that you have the whole night to dance away instead of taking breaks plus some of our guest had to leave early due to the drive so they missed it. That wasnt his fault, just FYI for anyone else, make sure you request that with him. He helped us pick out songs and helped us get rid of some too lol. His photo booth was amazing and so was his uplighting! He is a perfectionist and does not like to be bothered while getting everything in order to make your day perfect (he really cares aboutyour wedding as much as you do) so make sure people dont bug him while he is doing this. Because of this He nailed it, made it perfect and i would go with him again! Thank you Deric for an Epic wedding that no one can stop talking about!!

My wedding DJ backed out of our deal a month before my wedding so I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a replacement in time. I searched wedding wire and came across multiple DJs with amazing reviews and awards. Within those I came across Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment. I had already spoken with many DJs who had my wedding date available and got a running list going comparing what I would get for my money, how professional they were, how much flexibility they had as far as packages went, and how personable they were. Deric impressed me from the moment he started talking (More than anybody else!). He told me everything I should expect from his services and suggested which package he thought would fit my needs the best. Unlike every other DJ I spoke with before Deric, I was able to alter my package to add on extra lighting and add an extra 30 minutes onto my package.....all for an excellent price!!!! After realizing how much Deric did for me and worked with me to create the exact package I wanted, I knew he was the one I wanted to hire for the job! His understanding, professionalism, and generosity continued up to and even after my wedding day. I felt so confident in Deric's abilities as a professional DJ. One thing that I absolutely loved was that he is just as organized as I am and helped me choose every song that played on my wedding night...from beginning to end. I even had a handful of songs I wanted played which he hadn't even heard of....and of course on the wedding day every single one of those songs were played. From start to finish he followed through with everything he promised. I would recommend Deric to anybody! He truly is "Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment"! ;)

Had a great time!

I first met Deric and his wife at a bridal convention where hundreds of vendors try to sell you their services. Seeing Deric's energy, I instantly that they were the best choice for us! The day was planned out accordingly and I didn't have to worry about anything because Deric was very organized. My wedding guests were pumped at the end of the night EVERYONE was on the dance floor. Deric was able to play music throughout the night that was appropriate. As soon as all the elders left, Deric had a blast playing music for the guests my age. It was great! The photo booth was great too. It was so nice to see all the photobooth photos after the wedding and see how much fun all the guests were having.

Best DJ ever

We love love love Deric!
He is so charismatic, funny, entertaining, all while being so professional. He was so structured with the timeline and made sure we stuck to it. He kept us organized and did waaaaay more than our event coordinator did for the day. Who would of thought that a dj does extends to a lot more than just music. The best night!

Deric was our DJ for our wedding on 11/2/19. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! Not being bias BUT it was one of the fullest I’d ever seen at an event. He was kind, organized and kept our entire day on track. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a smooth but very exciting night!

Deric, with Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment, did a phenomenal job at our wedding in June. The dance floor was never empty, and there was great continuity to the entire playlist. Before meeting with Deric we had heard from a few people that he keeps a strict timeline and is very meticulous. While some people viewed that as negative, we thought it displayed his experience and professionalism. We met with him a few times and he was receptive to some of our non traditional ideas and made sure we got everything we wanted and just as importantly everything we paid for. From the cocktail hour to the last dance, the music was spot on and provided a great atmosphere for the celebration we had spent nearly a year planning. We would recommend Deric to anyone that is in the market for DJ services.

Derik was not only our DJ and entertainer but our friend. From day one it felt as if we had know him for years. Heather and I met derik at a bridal show in Solon. We heard his voice and later durring an interview, experienced his professionalism we knew there was no doubt it would be Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment at our wedding. Derik continuously followed up with us on music, ideas, format, etc. He was there very early to set up his equipment at the reception, and because of him he kept the night flowing smoothly. Multiple times durring the night he gave us a heads up on what was next and our time. Heather and I gave him a song selection sheet of everything we wanted played. If all our songs got played we might not have had the great response of people dancing we did. Thanks to Derik reading the crowd, knowing his music inside and out, he kept the dance floor hopping all night long. Even my 82 year old grandmother got out and cut the rug. We had a full dance floor the entire time until we had to say goodnight at midnight. If we had it to do again, Derik we would only pick you. To all future husbands and wives to be, a word of advice; don't skimp on the DJ you pick for it could make or break your reception. Derik, thank you for making our dreams come true, for great memories, for being our friend, and for going above and beyond, God bless and hope to book you again.

Deric and Absolutely Unbelieveable Entertainment were so wonderful to work with. My husband and I live out of state; Deric set up time to do a full music menu by phone, taking time out of his evening to accomodate our time difference and our work schedules. He incorporated Mardi Gras music that I brought home with me and played a great selection from his vast library. Everyone had fun... those who chose not to head out to the dance floor missed out! On a day where you want everything to go smoothly and there's plenty going on, Deric made sure that the reception moved along. I'm so glad we were able to book Deric!

We selected Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment to DJ our weddiding reception after being blown away by him at a friends wedding 2 years ago. After attending 8 weddings this summer, including our own, we have came to the conclusion that a wedding DJ can make or break a reception. Derick did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed from the moment he started playing music until the very last song. He catered very well to the crowd, and had all age groups on the dance floor. We have had numerous compliments "our" wedding dj. Derick emceed the night perfectly and kept our reception running smooth and rockin'! Couldn't have been more relieved that we had Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment entertaining our guests all night long!
To make this review accurate though, I must point out that there was a minor gaffe in the reception, we had emailed and changed the way our parents were to be introduced and it was done the original way at the reception. It was minor and loved the job Derick did for us, but we still wanted it done that way and it wasn't , therefor thought it was something to be shared in a review.
Again, we had an unbelievable time, Derick is the best in the industry, and are definitely glad we went with Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment!

I wish I could rate Derec's service more than a 5! He honestly deserves sooo much higher! From the planning process to the wedding reception he treated us like his family, and he felt like a part of ours as well! He kept the reception flowing flawlessly and the entire wedding was on the dance floor! We even had a girl with a broken foot get out there because she couldn't just sit when he started the music! He made a special mix for my father daughter dance, and it was perfect! I could talk about how wonderful the night was for days- and a HUGE reason it was so great was because of Derec!

I'm glad my husband and I picked Derek to be our dj. He knew exactly how to mix Croatian and American music. Very affordable dj out there.

Deric and Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment absolutely deserve 5 stars for their service. My wife and I could not be more happy with the service provided and would recommend them to anyone!!!!

Danced the Night Away

I just hired Deric for my wedding in August and he was so wonderful to work with! He’s very knowledgeable about different genres of music and helped us put together a great playlist. He was very professional yet loved to have fun. He got people out on the dance floor and kept things moving throughout the evening. I would definitely recommend him!

Deric and Chris did an amazing job in creating a great ceremony, awesome dance party, and fantastic memories for our wedding. Due to a last minute venue change for our ceremony, Deric sat down with us and developed a beautiful ceremony that included all of our personalized music with only a 1 week notice (this included a change of time, equipment needed, etc). They are extremely attentive and help make you aware of potential pitfalls and works/doesn’t work well, though they will always do exactly what you want.

Chris did a fantastic job of keeping our reception upbeat and everyone dancing based on his dance selections and changes throughout the night (from oldies to pop/top 40 dance music to everything in between). Also, Chris followed our wishes exactly in regards to our pre-meeting and was extremely knowledgeable of where we were throughout the night. If we were on the dance floor and one of the songs that we picked did not go over well with the crowd, I just signaled Chris and he would fade into a new song. The only issue was that the next day a lot of friends and family sent us texts about how much their feet hurt from all the dancing :) … Since our reception in June, we have heard a ton of comments from friends and family about how much fun our wedding was and they couldn’t believe how many people were dancing the entire time. We could not be happier with how our reception turned out and we owe a lot of that to Deric and Chris.

Amazing DJ!

Larry was our DJ for the night and he was absolutely fantastic. There was a little confusion in the beginning, but he sorted right through and made sure everything ran smoothly. He really kept our party going! Deric went over every detail with us before our big day and made it perfect!
