Terry you were wonderful! I loved how calm you made me feel that everything would look wonderful. My bridesmaids makeup was wonderful! I loved my makeup as well!! I loved how classic everyone looked and they didn’t look overdone, very natural!

Terry did my makeup for my wedding day, and she was absolutely fabulous! She was a joy to work with, and is just an amazing person. At my makeup trial, she offered suggestions of what would look good on me, but also took into consideration the look I was going for. When she could tell I wasn't thrilled with my hair trial, she went out of her way to offer to switch me to a new hair stylist and do another hair trial at no additional cost, which is above and beyond what I would have ever expected. I could tell she truly cared about me and making my day perfect. My sister (the maid of honor) asked the night before the wedding if she could have her makeup done by Terry as well, and Terry was very accommodating and fit her into the schedule at the very last minute. Even on the day of the wedding, my other bridesmaids asked her to help with some last minute things (air brushing over bruises, makeup for the flower girl, etc.), and she was willing to help with everything. She even offered to help pin the boutonnieres on the groomsmen! All of my bridesmaids and my mom were thrilled with her work, and all told me afterwards how much they loved having her in the bridal suite. She is such an amazing and caring person, always put me at ease, and is also very good at her work! She was by far my favorite vendor, and I would definitely recommend booking with her if she is available on your wedding day!

I absolutely loved Absolutely Captivating! Anything I asked she was more than helpful! She even woke up at 4:30AM to do my makeup for my bridal shoot that I wanted to do at sunrise! I could not have been happier with my make up and hair! The day of she had a whole team with her 2 makeup artists and 2 hairstylist for myself, my Bridesmaids, my mom, mother-in-law, and a grandmother!

Terri and her team at Absolutely Captivating took great care of me and my "team" on my wedding day! :) We did not have a lot of room to work with and I think we were pushing the boundaries for time, but they sweetly shuffled all of us through for hair and makeup without it feeling rushed or frantic. My mother, myself and bridesmaids all looked & felt beautiful for that wonderful day!

Terry was amazing with makeup! She had done my sister's wedding-and was great, so she was an obvious choice for us!

She has a great staff of hair stylists as well who can do pretty much any hairstyle!

They all made the process of getting ready stress-free!

Terry did the makeup at my daughter's wedding a couple of weeks ago. Terry is fantastic! She did the bridesmaids, myself, the mother of the groom, and my daughter, the bride. Everyone looked beautiful! Terry is great about doing what you feel comfortable with. She is fun to work as well! Very professional!
Terry did the makeup at my best friend's daughter's wedding a few months ago and they were also thrilled with the results!
I would absolutely recommend Absolutely Captivating!

Amazing. Terry was incredible. She worked with all facial types, colors, and ages - and everyone came out looking perfect (bride, MOB, BMx3)! My mom was raving about her makeup all night, and the makeup was perfect throughout all the tears and dancing. She was easy to work with, flexible, and personable! I HIGHLY recommend her for your special events!

Best make up and hair! Terry did a beautiful job with make up for me and all my bridesmaid! They were so helpful and fun to work with. If I ever have another event I need hair and make up done for, they will be the first people I call! Loved them!

Terry was a breeze to work with and very professional. She made everything so easy and fun and me and my ladies came out looking so polished and beautiful! She was very responsive to my needs and requests and provided additional artists the day of my wedding that were also great to work with and did an awesome job. I was so worried about my hair and makeup being drab after the first two hours but even after a night full of dancing (and sweating, let's be honest!) I still got so many compliments about how stunning I looked! It's just how you want to feel on your wedding day and Absolutely Captivating made it happen!

Absolutely Captivating is absolutely amazing! Terry went above and beyond to make sure my wedding look was flawless! She knows more about makeup than I could ever imagine. I explained to her that I didn't want to look too made up; just a better, brighter version of myself. She listened to my ideas, gave me suggestions and gave me the most perfect makeup application. She's a wedding professional in every sense of the word. She even gave me suggestions on what to do for my skin in the months leading up to the wedding. Her tips guaranteed that I had perfect skin on my wedding day. I woke up on my wedding day confident that I had done everything I could to ensure that I would have a gorgeous glow.

The one thing I wasn't confident about was a nasty scar on my arm that I hadn't expected when I ordered a strapless gown. After ordering my gown, I found out that a small mole on my upper arm was melanoma. After an excision, I was left with a deep and ugly scar that I definitely did not want to show off on my wedding day. I called Terry to get her advice. She assured me that no one would even notice my scar because they would be looking at my dress, my hair, my face, etc. I wanted to believe her, but I couldn't help but feel self-conscious about it. On my wedding morning, Terry arrived with several magic potions (that's all I can come up with to explain them!) and she literally made my scar disappear for the day. She took the one thing that was beyond my control and made it disappear! I never saw a single eye glance toward the scar that day and it was because of Terry's amazing talent. I can't say enough about her knowledge, professionalism and wonderful personality!

And trust me, when Terry gives you advice on your wedding prep timeline, listen and follow it! She had all of us ready and out the door right on time. If we had gone on the schedule that I thought would work, we wouldn't have had everyone ready in time for photos! Like I said, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude for Terry and Heather for helping me look beautiful on my wedding day. Heather did an amazing job with my hair and she matched what we did at the trial to a T. Terry and Heather did a fabulous job on hair and makeup at my wedding! They helped out with everyone. My mom was frantic and had planned on doing her own hair, she never lets anyone touch it. She was a mess and they both calmed her down, helped her and made her feel beautiful! Terry did an amazing job on my makeup for both the wedding and my bridal portraits. One of the most important things in a wedding day is the bride's make up .... And trusting Terry for this especial occasion was key ! It was a success! First the trial, finding the right effect and colors, the look, and correcting anything that was needed. Terry made it easier since she listened to all my requests. Terry (makeup) and Heather (hair) were absolutely fantastic. They were absolutely amazing and accomodated all of my bridesmaids, mother and myself. They did a great job at my trial (worth the money!) and even better for my actual wedding. One of my bridesmaids was very nervous about the make up after having a bad experience with another artist for her own wedding; needless to say, she was THRILLED with Terry's handiwork! Heather was great with my bridesmaids that were unsure of the hair style they wanted and made it easy for them. I would HIGHLY recommend them for anyone, special occasion or not!

Terry you are the best!! This lady not only made me flawless and beautiful on my wedding day but she took the time to act like my mother. My mother passed away a long time ago so she couldn't be there to help me with little details or give me support but Terry took her place and I have to say that even though I still missed my mother, she filled up the void. Thank you Terry I will never forget you... Hire her, she is a great professional and a great person.

Terry and her assistant Megan did my hair and make up for my September 12, 2009 wedding day. Both looked wonderful. An added plus, the next morning after only 2 hours of sleep, with very few touchups on my part, it still looked good catching a plane to Vegas. They also did the hair and makeup of various family members and some of the wedding party. Everyone was thrilled with their final look. I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone who inquired.

Very satisfied with make-up service -- run-through allowed us to do determine what was best for the wedding day and allowed me to think about exactly how I wanted to look (I even changed my mind on the wedding day and Terry was very flexible). It turned out beautifully! Her skin care recommendations were also spot on -- my skin is acne-prone and it looked great that day.

Terry and her assistant drove all the way from Houston to my little small town of Devers, Texas to do my and my bridesmaids makeup. Terry is absolutely wonderful....from the consultation to the end product on my wedding day was nothing but perfection. She was very professional and her makeup artistry is exceptional. Thanks Terry!

Terry went above and beyond! I have a pretty significant scar that needed covering and we did a trial run where she worked not only on my face, but also on my scar. Then, she recommended products that I could use in the interim to improve the look of my scar and other minor skin flaws. She even helped me find the person that ended up styling my hair for the wedding. I just can't say enough good things about Terry - I would recommend her to anyone who is getting married or needs a professional makeup artist!

Terri is a miracle worker. Planning a wedding is stressful enough let alone what the stress does to your skin. I was FLAWLESS! I looked as though the entire evening was effortless. That's what I want in a makeup artist. Terri can tackle any issue and she sure did. We had issues with the false eyelashes and Terri handled it within minutes. My group of ladies loved their makeup and we all varied in types of skin. If you want someone that travels, handles any wedding day makeup issues and you're gorgeous when she's done....Terri is who you want!

Terry was delightful to work with on my wedding day. She did a wonderful job on my makeup and was excellent at putting other wedding party members and myself at ease. Terry Miller did a great job with my make-up and all of my bridesmaids make-up. She did on site airbrush make-up for the wedding and I went to her place to have my make-up done for my bridal photos. I did my bridal photos in College Station, so I had to drive up after getting it done. After having my make-up on for 9 hours it still looked great. Airbrushing make-up is the best!

Terry is a very sweet lady that was very flexible in our planning and accomodated all of our bridesmaids and mother of the groom. She arrived on time and was very pleasant to have on our big day for my daughter. She even came over to the church to do touch-ups on everyones lip-sticks prior to walking down the aisle! Absolutely Captivating did a great job of my hair and makeup for my wedding! Terry did my makeup and Kristina did my hair and they were both extremely professional as well as generally helpful and just nice and enjoyable people to be around! Terry gave me great advice and input about my makeup as well as general tips for the night before and morning of the wedding. She stayed around through the ceremony to make sure and touch me up before our pictures in between the ceremony and reception. Kristina did the exact hair style I wanted and helped me tweak the style so it would look just like I imagined and wanted it to. They both did a great job of helping keep me calm and relaxed the morning of the wedding! They both also did my mom's hair and makeup and she loved it as well. Absolutely Captivating did a great job of my hair and makeup for my wedding! Terry did my makeup and Kristina did my hair and they were both extremely professional as well as generally helpful and just nice and enjoyable people to be around! Terry gave me great advice and input about my makeup as well as general tips for the night before and morning of the wedding. She stayed around through the ceremony to make sure and touch me up before our pictures in between the ceremony and reception. Kristina did the exact hair style I wanted and helped me tweak the style so it would look just like I imagined and wanted it to. They both did a great job of helping keep me calm and relaxed the morning of the wedding! They both also did my mom's hair and makeup and she loved it as well. Heather also did two of my bridesmaids' hair and it looked amazing!! Overall, a great company and great people! Absolutely Captivating is definitely the best vendor for quality and for your money.

Terry and Heather were AMAZING to work with. I was a bride who lived 9 hours away from where I was getting married and Terry helped plan around the very few days I would be in the area for my trial. She made everything so easy and stress free! Not only were they professional but so much fun to be around. I know if I ever need my hair/make up done again... I will definitely be calling!

Poor Terri was sick the day before our event. She made sure she was well enough to make it on our day and ended up bringing an extra girl to do makeup (at no cost to us of course) so that she made sure everyone was done on time. She didn't want any illness to slow down production! Everyone looked beautiful, both hair & makeup. The airbrush lasted all night and turned out beautiful in photos.

I loved my hair and makeup, everyone did a fabulous job on me and all my girls. I was a bride that wanted to look the same as I always do with just a little extra touch so for me my makeup was perfect and my dad loved it,this was important to me because at a pervious wedding with a different vender, that I was in, my dad commented that he could see my makeup caked on and i could feel it caked on as well but it was not my wedding so I kept quiet. The only downside it that I encountered is that I do my makeup everyday and all my friends told me I could have done it just as pretty myself, when I tried my dress on for the first fitting the lady even asked if I had done my trials that morning because my hair and markup looked so good and I had done both myself. So to pay 300+tip was a bit much to me considering everyone telling me I could have done both my hair and makeup myself and no one would have known the difference. But who wants to do do their own hair and makeup on their wedding day.

Very professional company that makes the event personal!! Just what I was looking for on my special day! They know what they're doing with makeup, hair, and it all worked well for photos, lighting, etc. Lasted all day :)

Working with Terry was a dream! She worked with me until I created the perfect look. And the best part was that it stayed on in Houston weather! That's quite an accomplishment.
My mother commented on how well the makeup held up after 3 hours of dancing! Great job! Totally worth it!

My time spent with Terry and her lovely team was awesome! They did a wonderful job and managed my very large group practically flawlessly! I had 11 bridesmaids and they had us on a schedule to get things done in a timely manner! We had a little hiccup with the hair style(partly my fault) but the girls did thier very best to accommodate my needs and didn't stop until I was satisfied!! Truly happy with the work these 4 ladies did for me on my special day

I was not completely satisfied with the hairstylist provided, but my makeup turned out great. Terry is an amazing makeup artist. She puts your needs before her own. She made my day into a joyous occasion.

I had a LONG wedding day and so I knew I needed makeup and hair that would last over 16 hrs. Terry's team did an awesome job and I got so many compliments about both that day!

Chelsea did my makeup and I loved it. She used airbrush makeup which I would highly recommend, it was so light you could barely feel it but it looks great in person and in photos. At the makeup trial we spent lots of time playing with different shades and combinations to get the right color. I also got a pair of fake eyelashes and lip gloss for touchups throughout the day.

My hair was done by Heather and redone later in the day by Megan. Since I had 2 ceremonies I wanted to change hairstyles in between as this would also make sure my hairstyle lasted through all the dancing etc. They both did great, my hair was just like the photos I brought it, it stayed all night long thanks to a million bobby pins and good hairspray.

My only complaints are that sometimes they were hard to reach via email or phone and that they charge a mileage fee for their staff and some of them live quite far from the center of Houston. But overall I was very happy with everything!

Terry and her crew (one additional makeup artist and two hair stylists) did a great job on hair and makeup for me, my five bridesmaids, and a cousin of mine. Our hair and makeup looked beautiful and lasted.

However, the process getting there wasn't super smooth. I'm glad we did trials before bridal portraits because my hair didn't turn out at all like I wanted even though I showed pictures and was pretty specific. Still, that's ok - that's why we do trials! I found out I actually like my hair better down, so it ended up being a moot point. Terry herself did a great job picking out colors and amounts of makeup for me. She accentuated the feature I liked best (my eyes). I looked like myself, but special. The only hitch was that the trial took nearly 4 hours. Bridal portraits went quicker, but still took a while.

The wedding day - I'm really glad she brought extra help because we were barely ready in time. I knew this might be an issue given the amount of time my trail and bridal portrait do's took, so I had planned for it. Everybody looked great and was really pleased with their hair and makeup. The only problem was that my bridesmaids were immediately shuttled into the chairs and I was left kind of sitting by myself while they all made conversation with their stylists. Then they did my hair and makeup, but I was really the only one left, so I was sitting in the chair by myself while my bridesmaids sat back and goofed off. I know that's not really Terry's fault, but I tried to join in the conversation and at one point Terry told my bridesmaids they needed to leave me alone for a minute so she could finish my makeup. Very true, but on my wedding day, it was hard to feel left out. Maybe we should have started earlier or my bridesmaids should have been more considerate.

I don't want to be too negative because I was pleased with their work and I would recommend Terry and her crew. Just plan ahead and build in the time.
