Highly recommend Gordon – the dance floor was full all night long and my guests raved how great the music was. It was exactly the vibes I was looking for my wedding – all age groups had the best time! I loved the online planning portal that helped with timeline, song suggestions for different activities (intros, first dances, cake cutting, etc.) and specific play/do not play lists. Look no further for a DJ for your wedding! -

Having Gordon from Absolute Entertainment made our wedding so much fun and special. Gordon was the best!! So professional and obviously passionate about music and what he does. He was great at picking songs and understanding what we wanted when we didn't have a lot of words to describe it. He gave us a really good price for our wedding. So many people commented on how great the music was. The online portal is great to help organize the music for your event and getting to meet with your DJ beforehand and finalize details. Everything was stress free and perfect. We met with a few DJ's before deciding on Absolute and were so glad we waited it out. Book them ASAP!! -

Everyone at our wedding had a great time and enjoyed all of the music Ken selected during our wedding. We had a few song selections that were must plays, but other than that, we gave him freedom to set the tempo for the reception and were not disappointed! All of these details were discussed during our pre-wedding meeting with him, where he helped us with some great advice on the schedule for the big day too! He did a great job feeling the room and judging the song selections, keeping everyone well entertained. An added bonus, he is also a pretty great photographer and got a few special shots during the wedding, when most DJs would have probably just stood around until it was time to do their job. He went above and beyond in our expectations! Thank you so much Ken! -

Lauren Sent on 09/22/2014I could not have been more satisfied with Absolute Entertainment. Having never booked a DJ before, I had to rely on the recommendations of others, and I'm so glad I did! From our initial consultation through the end of our wedding, I felt that my business was valued and that they deeply cared about making my wedding day a success
Our DJ Rex Anderson always responded promptly to emails and was able to get all the songs we wanted that were not in their database. During the event itself he did a great job of announcing and directing people's attention. My mom had prepared a slideshow with music, and even though there was a minor technological mishap, Rex was able to find a work-around so that my mom's slideshow went off without a hitch. One of my biggest fears was that no one would dance. Rex read the crowd perfectly and kept people dancing all night. I had multiple people tell me throughout the night that the DJ was great, and that they were impressed. I don't think I've ever felt compelled to tell a party host I loved their DJ, so I think the praise of my friends and family speak volumes. -

John Paul Berry was the only one who actually took us to a room in his office that was set up for playing music and gave us a sample of what we could expect at our cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. When we left that meeting, I looked at my fiancee and said, "Okay, so we're definitely hiring him, right?" JP was responsive whenever I had questions, patient when I forgot to send him the music list a few weeks before the wedding, and super easy going. Though we sent him a playlist, we told JP we trusted him to play what he thought would get the guests on the dance floor, and he really delivered. Our dance floor was packed from the start and our guests had a blast. My cousin Marie told me she hadn't danced that much at wedding since her own in the early 80's! If you want a professional DJ who has a sixth sense about what your guests will love and doesn't insist on playing a lot of cheesy line dance music, then do not hesitate to hire JP. He will create the fun, exciting atmosphere your guests will love! -

He made the entire process of picking music for our wedding fun and stress-free. He played everything we requested and the flow of the night was perfect. We really appreciated that at the end of the night JP gave us a CD with all the songs he played at the wedding - a perfect memory. -

They assigned DJ Gary Rasmussen to our wedding and he did a fantastic job. He sat down with us and found out our style for music and then created a fun playlist for us. If we had it to do over again, we would choose him. -

I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about the entire experience from beginning to end. John Paul was extremely prompt about answering emails. He also was super accommodating with our requests--from an edited intro song to a surprise father/daughter dance song. From just a few conversations, we felt like John Paul really understood what type of music we wanted for our wedding. Let's just say that we had the best dance party ever. Soon as the dancing started there was not a moment that there were not people dancing. Awesome, awesome job! The wedding would not have been the same without John Paul! -

From our first consultation Jason just "got" us, our music preferences, and what we wanted at our wedding. He was quick to respond to all of our questions and gave us tons of great ideas. At our reception the dance floor was packed and everyone had an amazing, fun time. Jason worked seamlessly with our photographer and the coordinator at our venue to make sure the reception flowed smoothly. I can not recommend Jason and Absolute Entertainment highly enough. Thank you for making our wedding fantastic! It wouldn't have been the same without him! -

It was a pleasure working with her throughout the process, from coming in to meet and hear a "sample" of what she could do to the big day. She kept the party moving, played amazing music, and was professional throughout the process. Everyone said how great of a time they had at our wedding and so much of that had to do with keeping the party going--which is what Jami did. I normally don't dance at weddings but I was barely off the dance floor because the music was great. We had a photobooth at the event and I wanted to go in there but had such a hard time leaving the dance floor; when I did leave, there were so many times I ran out to go back to the dance floor because I would hear a song that I just had to dance to! I would highly recommend Jami individually, and the company overall, to any couple that is getting married. THANKS!! -

He knew exactly what we were looking for as far as genres of music. We felt so relaxed and comfortable working with Jason. On our wedding day, he was great and kept the party going all night. He played exactly what we were hoping for and helped to make our wedding day simply perfect. Our friends still talk about how much fun our wedding was and we owe it all to Jason and Absolute Entertainment.

We met with four DJ's and Jason won us over with great communication, musical suggestions and live demo. His enthusiasm towards the entertainment at your wedding gets you excited! Jason went above and beyond making special requests happen. He had awesome mash ups and mixes and everyone was on the dance floor all night! We had such a blast! Ryan, who handled our ceremonial music, was on top of all of the details and logistics, working with the team of vendors to make our ceremony flow perfectly without a hitch. -

Paige Sent on 10/23/2012Jacob was awesome! Everyone was on the dance floor all night! We received tons of comments about how he was the best DJ anyone had ever seen/heard at a wedding before! He def got the party started and kept it going! He was very professional while still being fun! He also made sure to have our timeline and name pronunciation of our wedding party down, so everyone was introduced correctly. I don't know how many weddings I have been to where names are butchered and the order is all out of line! That isn't going to happen here! They are amazing and want to know every little detail! We are big country music lovers and requested that it be played during the dinner (we didn't want to bore everyone with country the whole night) and told Jacob to do his thing when it came to the cocktail hour and to the dancing and he did not disappoint! Just let him do his thing and you won't regret it! Serisouly best DJ ever! It felt awesome to hear the comments we received from our guest about how great the music was and how awesome Jacob was! -

User966506 Sent on 10/09/2012When it comes to the ultimate dj, look no farther than Absolute Entertainment. Our dj Jacob Jensen was a STAR. After meeting with him for the initial meeting I realized that making playlists was simply not necessary. I told him what we liked for the different parts of the wedding and told him to have fun with it. He did just that! As much as we love to dance, the music was a HUGE part of our wedding and Jacob entertained. He also worked with me prior to create a few surprises for my guests. He was easy to work with and extremely helpful. I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Jacob and Absolute Entertainment. Thank you!!! :) -

We planned our wedding 800 miles away from Maryland and it wasn't difficult at all. We did a phone call with John Paul to qualify who the best dj would be for us and he picked Jacob. Jacob set up a skype demo with us knowing we couldnt meet him person and we were so impressed that we booked him immediately. He was the hit of the night! We felt like by the time the Wedding rolled around we had known Jacob and were now friends! Every single person at my wedding was on the dance floor and he was rocking it the whole time. Probably my favorite thing about Jacob was that everytime I looked over at him while I was dancing, he noticed me and smiled. He was so aware of his crowd and really showed us a great time! He was professional, fun, passionate about his job and overall amazing!!!! If you're looking to have a great time at your Wedding...which everyone is, you must book them!!! You will not be disappointed!!! -

They played the songs we requested and also had a fantastic playlist of their own that brought people to the dance floor and entertained them during cocktail hour and dinner. They were also very accommodating and professional. They knew our venue well and exactly where and how to set up. They also provided music for both our ceremony outside and our reception inside, and their music selection for the different parts of the evening were well chosen. -

Kyley Sent on 06/27/2012John Paul Berry from Absolutely Entertainment was simply amazing! From the first time we met with him to discuss music, we knew that he was going to be the right fit.
He was very flexible and understanding of our busy schedules (up until two weeks before the wedding my fiance and I were living in separate states), and was even willing to meet with us closer to our home so that we didn't need travel to Hanover less than a week before the wedding. Prior the event, John Paul was also great about giving us song suggestions and working on some fantastic mash-ups (our guests are still talking about our hora!). He was also willing to work with my husband's siblings ahead of time in order to incorporate a song into their toast.
On the day of the event there were some issues with timing, but John Paul was great with keeping us on schedule and checking with us to make sure that we were okay with the suggestions he made to keep us on track. He knew our main reason for having our reception was to party, and he pulled out all of the stops. Everyone had a fantastic time and we could not have been happier using John Paul and Absolute Entertainment! -

Amy Sent on 05/30/2012John Paul was the most amazing DJ for our wedding. I had long dreamt about the perfect dance party with all my friends and family and he made it a reality. My husband and I have some strong tastes in music and not even necessarily along the same lines as each other. We had quite the time putting together a list of requested music and a way of explaining what we wanted to hear. JP perfectly mixed what we each loved along with what would keep the party moving. I loved that he even out in some music I never heard, but loved. The dance floor was packed! Best surprise was the next day when I was handed 3 CDs of all the music we had requested along with music that he added in. I couldn't not have asked for anything more!
