Perfect is a work under exaggerated.

Doug and April were so easy to work with, it was as if another part of our family walked through the venue, we were welcomed with the warmest of hugs and they made sure we were taken care of...they couldn’t have made things easier if they tried. Their equipment was phenomenal! 10/5 stars. Thank you so much for being a part of our day and making things so easy.

Doug was absolutely awesome. He was very thorough in explaining how his (AMAZING) website works and the flow of the wedding day. He works super hard to have everything organized before your special day so that there are minimal hiccups and you know exactly what is coming next. We had our reception at our home, and he was able to come out to our location prior to our ceremony to make sure there was plenty of power for him and set up was ideal. This helped me as the bride relax in knowing all of my vendors were comfortable and ready to go prior to any guests showing up. Top Notch service, book him early!

Doug and April went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was absolutely perfect for us. Never once did Doug or April let us stress about what was going on, he made sure to handle all of the music, and made sure the day was flowing properly. We seriously could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. In our opinion, the DJ can either make or break a wedding and if you go with Absolute DJ's for your wedding you certainly will not be disappointed, they will certainly make your wedding amazing!!

I would recommend these guys again and again! We had Gary as our DJ and we were so impressed with him! We originally talked to Doug, the owner, to book everything, he was very nice and accommodating. Then he assigned us Gary, who got a hold of us right away to make sure we were happy with everything. Gary set up a time we could all meet and talk about everything, like what songs we wanted to play, when we wanted to play them, how we wanted to be announced. At the reception, he was super nice and very flexible! Everyone loved him!

I seriously was so impressed with everything. Can't speak highly enough of Absolute DJs!

Absolute DJS definitely jump started our Wedding! They deserve the proper thanks.. They rocked it! We are pretty particular about "Wedding" music, and we both think that they knocked it out of the park. We had several people come up to us during the wedding to say how awesome the music and everything looked/went. The set up was great and just as we envisioned it. We had a New Years Eve wedding and they were able to live stream the ball dropping in NYC, which was the cherry on top! We will never forget that moment. They have our recommendation for anyone looking for a professional DJ! We appreciated all their hard work!

My husband and I loved how organized absolute djs were..the planning form was extremely helpful and took a ton of stress off of us. They basically planned our whole wedding.

Doug was absolutely amazing! He walked us through every step of the night both before (in our planning meetings) and during the reception itself. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing during the whole reception because Doug had absolutely everything handled. He and his wife checked in on us to see if we needed drinks or anything throughout the night and they made all our guests feel warm and welcomed. Planning from Virginia, I was worried about not getting to sit down face to face to interview potential DJs, but from the first phone call we knew the Doug was the right person for us. He was open and honest with us and talked through all the charges. He helped us pick out music and played what was appropriate for the audience. I would recommend him to anyone who was thinking about getting a DJ for any occasion. Thank you so much for helping make our day so very special Doug!!

Tom was the DJ for our wedding and he was wonderful! He kept the reception on track and guests dancing. Prior to our big day, Doug (owner) and Tom were quick to respond to my questions and their knowledge and professionalism kept us at ease. I highly recommend them!

A month before our wedding the DJ we had booked months in advance canceled on us. So we were panicking on what to do or who to call with such a short notice. We were afraid that every place would already be booked! So I looked on wedding wire and that's were we seen Absolute DJs. We verified that they were available on the day of our wedding. So we were contacted by Doug, the owner and he worked with me very quickly to get everything set up before meeting with our DJ, Gary. Once we met with him to go over the plans for the ceremony and reception my husband and I felt so much relief and felt all the stress go away. Gary and his wife did such an amazing job. They made our day absolutely perfect. They say everything happens for a reason, and I believe it. We are so glad we were able to have them as a part of our wedding. They make you feel as ease with everything and all you need to do is sit back and enjoy your day, they take care of everything. Thanks again for everything. You all are amazing and you saved our wedding day!

I am so happy we chose Absolute-DJs for our wedding reception on August 8! Doug and April were absolutely perfect; they made a wonderful day even better! We felt confident going into the reception thanks to a planning session with Doug. He also gave us tips throughout the day (like how to cut the cake). We got so many compliments on the music! Amazing service for an amazing price. Gary literally thought of everything during our meeting a couple weeks before the wedding and was really flexible and helpful with providing the perfect wedding playlist. Everyone was extremely impressed with the music and how well everything flowed, they truly made it unforgettable.

Gary provided great Dj service for my wedding. Gary made sure that all the special moments were well planned out (met before the wedding) and ensured that everything would go smoothly. The wedding reception went just like that, with no complaints. I would highly recommend this company and especially Gary for making my wedding day a great celebration full of memories!

Doug did such a great job of being the DJ and MC for our wedding! We sat down with him about a week before the wedding and walked through the entire evening with him. He knew exactly what we wanted to happen and when we wanted it to happen. He even gave us some tips on some of the things! The night of the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything, Doug took care of it all. He even came up to us just before every piece and made sure we were ready for it before jumping in. The night ran so smoothly, and we would definitely use Doug again!

We had Tom Potts as our DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! He kept everything going smoothly, even helped us find our champagne and glasses before the toasts started because the event staff didn't have them at the table. He went above and beyond and kept the dance floor full the whole wedding! Everyone still talks about how much fun our wedding was and we are thankful to Tom for that! He was great to work with and would definitely recommend him to everyone!

Kevin and Doug were a pleasure to work with for our wedding reception. Not only do they play great music, they coordinate your entire reception. The whole evening was orchestrated by our DJ so we didn't have to. Kevin was fun to have as our DJ!

I cannot say enough about Doug Haney and Absolute DJs. My husband and I were very impressed from the first meeting with his online tools for selecting music. Absolute DJs had tons of great music to select and even got some custom songs for us for special dances. Doug was a tremendous Emcee - he really kept the flow going and was super organized! Doug has a great style and personality that really made the reception fun. Doug helped us pick great music for dinner and was on-point for all of our unique aspects of the reception. Doug took requests but still played the music we really wanted. And, Doug asked us before playing a song with foul language, which helped us get the song played later in the night when most of the people who might have been upset were gone, which made everyone happy! If you want a great reception, just call Doug at Absolute DJs.

Doug was the most amazing DJ I could have asked for to help us celebrate our wedding. I literally cannot say enough great things about his business and him personally. When I spoke to him on the phone while talking with DJs for the wedding, he was extremely professional; I also enjoyed how he was able to make a few jokes and made it seem like I was talking to a friend. I knew as soon as I spoke to him that's who I wanted as my DJ. His online planning tool made everything during the planning process easy, and our meeting a month out made me feel extremely comfortable and that we were ready to party. During the wedding, he and April went above and beyond by helping out in every aspect, which I am extremely grateful for. The fact he exceeded my biggest request (having people dancing all night, from my 2 year old cousin to my 84 year old Grandfather and Great Uncle) is what created the best night ever. Doug, thank you for everything! I highly recommend his services!

From the minute I met Doug at a bridal show I knew he was the DJ for us. Doug and April did a wonderful job for our wedding ceremony and wedding reception music. They know how to get the party going and will go above and beyond to make sure the Bride and Groom has the best wedding day possible. If anyone needs a DJ in the Springfield/Dayton/Columbus area, you can't go wrong with Doug and April from Absolute-DJ's. When I was looking for a DJ for my wedding, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find someone that would be outgoing enough to get people up dancing. My family isn't too big on dancing, but nobody wants their wedding to be boring! So I came across Absolute-DJ's on weddingwire.com and saw the reviews and after talking to Doug on the phone, decided to go with them because of their great pricing and how outgoing and friendly Doug was. He is awesome at getting back to you if you have any questions through the process before the big day, and he is honestly the reason why our wedding flowed so smoothly from one event to the next. Doug isn't just a DJ, he lets guests know what's going on throughout the evening and was in contact with me every step of the way, letting me know when we were about to move on to the next event. Not only is he basically a coordinator for the wedding, but his DJ services also offer great tools like an online client log in where you can look through their huge selection of music (they literally have every song you can think of) and make your own playlist for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He also takes pictures during the reception and makes them available to you soon afterwards, which is really nice if your wedding photographer takes forever to get your photos to you. If you're looking for a DJ in the area, I would honestly recommend Absolute-DJ’s 100%...you just can’t go wrong.

Doug and April were outstanding. I was very concerned with the flow of the reception and Doug took care of everything. He didn't just play music, he kept the night going the way we wanted it. We met with Doug a couple weeks before the wedding and planned everything out and didn't have to worry about a thing during the wedding. He always emailed me back right away and addressed any concerns we had. We had so much fun with them and because of them. He also had an online planning sheet where my husband and I were able to create a playlist of songs we wanted for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. He was great at getting everyone involved. I give him my highest recommendation.

We had an amazing experience with Absolute-DJs (Springfield/Dayton, OH)! Doug Haney (the owner) was our DJ and we could not have been more happy! We had a meeting a few weeks prior to the wedding where Doug went over our song selection list (which you enter on his website) and offered us advice when we asked for it in terms of the number of fast/slow songs we should request. This was extremely helpful since we weren't sure what balance of slow to fast songs would result in a great party for everyone attending. The day of the wedding, everything went perfectly. Guests commented on the flow of the reception being great, and from my perspective as the bride, Doug ensured that I had nothing to worry about. If I needed to be somewhere to do something (like cut the cake), he just let me know and everything ran really smoothly. Also, it is apparent that Doug really does strive to make his events as enjoyable as possible for everyone in attendance, and especially the bride and groom in this case. He is sincere when he says he considers it an honor to be a part of a wedding reception. He went out of his way to make sure little details weren't missed, like the fact that I wanted a very particular song played first during the dollar dance, for example, so that I could dance with someone in particular during that song. He will also tailor the reception events to your liking, leaving out those traditions you wish to skip or adding new ones that are important to you. Overall, we had an amazing experience with Doug and Absolute-DJs and would recommend them to any bride/groom! We also felt the cost was reasonable compared to other vendors. I feel like we received a great value for this service and an outstanding reception which people are still talking about!

Absolute-DJ's were easy to work with, friendly and provided a service beyond our expectations. I had friends and family say to me after our wedding, how great the DJ was. Doug and April for Absolute DJ did a wonderful job being organized in order to run our wedding. They helped us plan out all the details and when it came to our wedding day, they took over and ran with our request. They did a wonderful job and I would recommend them to anyone!

Absolute DJ's were awesome! Doug was very friendly and April was awesome, they helped time everything out so I didnt need to pay attention when to walk down the isle or make the grand enterance. Just give them the songs and talk to them in the final walk through and they take care of everything! Never thought I would have nothing to do on my wedding day and it was great!! :)

We loved the service we received from Absolute DJs. From the first point of contact they were extremely professional and had a very prompt response. We had Tom for our wedding and he was awesome! He met with us a few weeks ahead of time to go over everything and we immediately felt comfortable with him and knew he would do a good job and not be one of those annoying DJs you see at weddings. He provided the sound for our ceremony which was flawless and then did our reception. He listened to what we wanted and did a great job at keeping the evening going! We were greatly impressed by him!! Absolute DJs also makes it easy to plan with their online portal which allows you to pick the songs you want and don't want ahead of time. We really liked that! We would definitely recommend them!

We knew we wanted to use Absolute DJs after hearing them at a friend's wedding. So glad we did because Doug Haney and his assistant were essential to our reception running smoothly. He walked us through every step so we were never left wondering "What's next?" or "How do we do this?" (for example, how to stand while cutting the cake! Bet you never thought about that before!)... Not only that, they made long distance planning a breeze. The planning forms on Absolute DJs' website let you add songs to your playlist from a huuuge database of all types of music. My husband is very picky about music and he was able to find even the most obscure songs in their database. They also have suggestions for the major moments of the reception (i.e. first dance, father/daughter dance, etc.) - so helpful!! I highly recommend this vendor :)

We loved Gary! He was very professional and played all the songs we requested. He worked very hard to please us and accommodate us. The only negative thing that happened was we paid for an extra half hour to use his sound equipment for our ceremony and the mic squeaked several times loudly. Other than that, we were very pleased with our experience with absolute DJs.

Doug provided great information when needed and always responded very quickly. I spoke to our wedding day Dj prior to the event and felt confident he would deliver great services. I spent countless hours editing our playlist on our online account and organizing it the best that I could, to only be greatly let down the day of our wedding.

Doug made it more than clear he absolutely did not want to set up equipment outside (as our dance floor and ceremony were both outside at the same location) this worried me but I was reassured by our wedding day Dj that there would be speakers outside and the sound would be heard perfectly. However that wasn't the case, guests were unable to hear our ceremony music and vows unless they were sitting right by the speakers. The bridal entrance song was also played too early, I was afraid it would be over by the time I walked down the isle. Once guests began making their way back outside for the reception dancing you could not hear the music at all. My husband asked Todd if there would be a way to change the sound level or get speakers outside as promised, at this point our dj decided to move his equipment outside (so for around 30 min we had no music playing at all) During our cocktail hour and dinner our dj played what seemed like only a few of our requested songs. My husband and our wedding coordinator had to remind him to play our playlist several times. Towards the end of the night he began letting people request music that was not on our playlist and somewhat inappropriate for our crowd.
