Ease of planning

Jason did amazing at our wedding. Everything went smoothly. Communication was amazing and he was so easy to work with. He clarified if he has any questions, and was very professional.

Awesome DJ!!!!!

We hired DJ Jason for our wedding in October in Wilmington NC and he was phenomenal. We still have wedding guests complimenting the music from our wedding. The dance floor was active the entire night! Jason was super helpful throughout the entire process from the moment we booked to the big day - he answered every question we had! We also cannot recommend the uplighting Absolute Best offers enough! :)

Absolutely excellent!!

Jason did an AMAZING job!! We are so glad we made the decision to work with him. He was super responsive, accommodated all of our requests, had an excellent online portal to utilize, and was super flexible the day of. He was flexible with the flow of the day and ready for anything. Our guests were on the dance floor ALL NIGHT long :)

Amazing DJ!

Jason was fantastic – really friendly and professional and not once did the dance floor empty out or even have a quieter period! He was really great at playing the songs we had on our list and also at taking request! Communication was constant all the way up to our big day!

Wonderful wedding Dj

This Dj service was wonderful and made music one less thing I had to worry about on my wedding day. Their worksheet they have you fill out was very helpful in creating a timeline and deciding when I wanted certain songs to be played. They are also very affordable, responded fast to my emails and were punctual on my wedding day. It was a destination wedding for me so I was very grateful they had such good communication and made my life easier by not having to worry with meeting with them before the wedding.

Amazing DJ and So Helpful!

I planned my wedding entirely from a different state so I didn’t meet Jason in person until the day of the wedding. He was so helpful and communicative through the entire process, and their planning portal was so helpful! The entire evening went smoothly and he handled everything well. 10/10 would recommend!

Awesome DJ

Jason at absolute best DJs was the best DJ for our wedding! He played all our ceremony music perfectly and knew when to fade it out! He brought the party and keep it going all night!

Jason was very responsive and I loved his planning tool, which made planning music for our wedding very easy and date I say… fun! The day of execution went exactly as planned. I’d highly recommend Jason and his team for any wedding or special event.

A+ Recommend to others

Jason was the perfect DJ for our wedding! We really liked that he had a website where we could select songs to add to the different playlist, and we could even connect to our spotify account to make it super easy. Jason had to set up equipment in 3 locations (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) and did so with no issues. Mics worked the whole time, and no hiccups with any equipment. The up-lights included in the package that were placed in the reception area really added to the ambiance. For the dancing part of the evening, Jason made sure to stick to the music we picked (as that's really what we wanted) and played additional music that was in line with what we liked. Definitely would recommend Jason to others!

Wedding - Bride

My husband and I postponed our dream wedding from 2020 to 2021. We had our ceremony at Shell Island with our reception at Bakery 105. Jason worked with us so we were able to have music at our ceremony as well. At the reception he did a great job of taking requests and keeping everybody moving! We live in PA and planned our entire wedding remotely, but Jason made the entire process easy and pain free! 100% recommend!!

Wonderful Night

Our DJ Sammy was awesome! he kept the party pumping even when their weren’t many people left at the reception. he took requests and made the whole shabang run smoothly! Absolute Best DJ!

We were recommended DJ Jason by our wedding coordinator and I'm so glad we decided to go with him! He was very responsive to emails and ensured that everything went perfectly during the ceremony and reception. He played all the songs we requested but was able to play fun dance music to keep the party going! He added uplighting for free which really improved the mood for the reception! He was definitely experienced and did an amazing job. I would recommend him to anyone!!

Jason was so pleasant to work with at our wedding! I loved how thorough his website and planning forms are, and being able to link my spotify account was super helpful. He was very friendly and professional through our entire event, make announcements when needed, and took requests that got our guests up and dancing. Highly recommend!!

Best Wedding Reception Ever!

We had such an amazing experience with Jason at Absolute Best! Ever since we booked, he has been extremely responsive to all of my questions. His online portal was very easy to use and was great because my (now) husband and I could come back to work on our music selections whenever we wanted during the planning process. The day of the wedding, Jason was amazing. The set up process went seamlessly, his announcing was awesome, he stayed perfectly on schedule, and he kept the party going all night long! He felt out the vibe of the room perfectly and we had so much fun dancing with our guests for the entirety of the reception- so many people have told us how much fun it was. Thanks Absolute Best!

Amazing work. The timing of the music for the ceremony is one of the things I really stressed about. Jason did a perfect job with the timing of everything and made the transitions so smooth from the ceremony to the end of the reception. Very talented and highly recommend.

Absolute Best is the absolute best!!!

We could not be more happy with Jason from Absolute Best DJs! We had a situation about 1.5 months before our wedding - we were going to use a personal friend to Dj our wedding and that ended up falling through - then we found out about Absolute Best through Facebook! It could not have worked out more perfectly!! Jason was awesome and did such a great job during our ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what he was doing and played great songs. Our guests had a great time dancing and the lighting looked great! He was very accommodating and was extremely prompt with responding to any questions I had, which put me at ease with what could have been a very stressful situation! He really did such an amazing job and our wedding had amazing music! 100% recommend!!!

Much more than a DJ

Jason did a great job at our wedding! We had an outdoor wedding and it rained before the ceremony. Jason didn't even skip a beat. He was flexible and easy to work with. He made sure our guest had a great time and custom made our intro song! I would recommend him to anyone.

Easy to work with!

Absolute Best did a wonderful job DJing for our wedding! The planning tools they used made it very easy for us to plan our music and set up from over 700 miles away. They were so much fun and we loved that they had a Photo Booth option including fun signs and other fun things you would expect with that service.

Absolutely the Best!

Jason and his team were absolutely the best! I had the Cape Fear Package and it was everything and more that we hoped for during the wedding and reception. Jason was extremely organized and gave us a wedding worksheet to fill out on his incredibly user-friendly website that included songs we wanted/didn’t want, our wedding timeline and introductions, and a synopsis of our wedding party members. During the ceremony, Absolute Best captured the audio of both our officiant and our two readers so that all my guests could hear and enjoy our ceremony. And best of all, during our reception they kept the party going and managed to play all the songs we had requested! All of our guests were constantly dancing throughout the night, and we owe it all to Absolute Best!

True Professionals!

Absolute Best lived up to their name at our reception last month. We were referred to them by a friend and heard great things about Jason in particular but also how everyone else on the team is excellent. Jason was always very timely with his communication with us and made sure the process leading up to the reception was as organized and stress-free as possible. The online account/planning feature was an incredible touch to the service and really brought home exactly what we wanted to include in our celebration. Fills the dance floor!

Jason showed up and guided the night with his excellent emceeing and djing skills. Despite the hot temperatures for our outdoor reception, the dance floor was full the entire time because his music choices were perfect and kept the party going until the very last minute! Best night of our life!

Jason was sweet enough to happily book to do our wedding just two weeks before when ours backed out on us. At the time I was extremely frustrated but I am so glad that it happened because Jason was perfect! He is extremely professional from his manner, website, asking questions to make sure he knows exactly what you want, and even when you are overwhelmed and not sure what you should be going on he hops in and smoothly helps you keep with your timeline as planned. Every guest had an absolute blast dancing the night away, and he even took some special requests from my guests as they came up and suggested some songs for us on the day of. Hands down wonderful DJ and MC, I would recommend to everyone!

Flawless Execution

Jason did our wedding back on 9/2 and we couldn't have been happier. The wife and I had many special requests beyond specific songs (playing parts of songs, quarterbacking the timing of things like dancing under the pier our wedding was on, etc). Jason executed all of it flawlessly. His equipment was top notch (incredibly good sound on a windy pier), and his experience/advice was invaluable both during the planning process and the day of. We also have high concentrations of audiophiles in both families, so the copious amount of DJ compliments we received from our guests are another testament to the quality of his work. Overall, there's absolutely nothing we would've changed about our experience with Jason, and cannot recommend him highly enough. If you're in the market for a friendly, responsive, and experienced professional, Jason's your DJ.

Jason was amazing. We ended up last minute realizing we were going to need him longer than we originally said and he was very accommodating. The price was a lot fairer than anyone else I found in town. His selection of music was broad but anything you want he can add!

Wow wow wow wow!!! Probably the best DJ experience we have ever had. Jason was absolutely amazing! He was so professional, easy to work with and made the whole event worry free. We used Absolute Best for our wedding reception and we were very happy with their service! They made it incredibly easy to plan for our reception with their online portal, so we were able to request specific songs for our cocktail hour, dinner and dance. More importantly, we were able to create a ‘Do Not Playlist’ for songs we wanted to avoid. We had Joel for our DJ, and overall we were impressed with the song selection for cocktail hour, dinner and dance. Joel also made it a point to call ahead of time and walk through everything, introduce himself when we arrived to cocktail hour, and kept looking for any cues from us. Overall, we were really happy with the reception music they were able to provide!

Amazing DJ service! We had used them for our prelude music, ceremony music, cocktail hour music and reception music (6 hours total). They stuck to the timeline well and were flexible when we needed to make a change. Extremely nice and helpful! Music sounded great and everyone had a good time!

Well, Jason was absolutely amazing. I had the pleasure of working with him for my wedding on May 20, 2017. Not only was he extremely easy to work with, but he is one talented DJ. He had the entire room on their feet for the entire night! I did not give him many song requests, but Jason can read any crowd and play music accordingly. Jason Lee at Absolute Best DJ was awesome! I would absolutely recommend his services! We had a beautiful reception with great music for four hours to include a cocktail hour, dinner and two hours of dancing! The dance floor was packed the entire time and people did not want to leave! Jason did a great job announcing each event from the toasts to first dance, bouquet and garter toss and cake cutting! Thanks again Jason!

We worked with Jason for our wedding. He is awesome! Throughout our wedding planning process Jason was very responsive. He provided the uplighting and DJ services for our ceremony & reception. The uplighting was GORGEOUS. The music was beautiful for the ceremony-Jason is very good at timing when to start/stop music. The reception was perfect-Jason knows EXACTLY what to play to get everyone dancing! Our dance floor was full the entire night. We had a blast!

Jason did a phenomenal job. He was very flexible on adjusting the time-line of events during the reception as things changed. His music selection is awesome, we only selected a few songs, but he was able to fill in the rest of the time and keep our guests dancing!! Thank you again!

Absolute Best DJ Service was literally the BEST! Our DJ Yoel was very personable and easy to talk to. We were able to meet and talk plans over about a week out, and after that I didn't have a worry in the world about the music. He really knew his stuff. At the wedding his announcing and mixes were perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Jason and his team was very punctual and always got back to emails in a timely manner. Absolute Best DJ Service is an excellent choice for your wedding! Jason was our DJ this past June and he did an excellent job during the planning process (even when I was burnt out and slacking, lol) There is an easy to use site for picking your music selections that gets the job done quickly. Even when I couldn't find what I was looking music wise, Jason stepped right in and delivered what I was looking for! The reception went smoothly and the guests had a blast dancing!

Absolute Best DJ Service. The name speaks for itself. From the moment we spoke until days after the reception I am very happy with our choice for entertainment that evening. I rented one of his led tables for our wedding cake and the pictures came out awesome!!! We also rented his portable PA system for our beach ceremony and it was perfect. If I can tell you anything about our experience with this company it's the fact that while Jason is a great DJ and goes through all the motions that the wedding needs to happen he also plays the crowd and knows what it takes to make people dance. We all danced until they kicked us out!! Music, lights, tables, portable PA?!?! He's got it all and some. Don't even think about hiring anyone else. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

I got married outside on a dock with 200 guest- Jason provided the speakers and wireless mics- my guest all told me how impressed they were that they could still hear everything even over the wind and waves. He immediately transitioned to the reception- in which he kept the crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE night!! My guest were begging for more at the end of the night!! His website made the entire process so EASY and prompted me to think of things I hadnt on my own! He was even willing to download any song I requested that wasnt already in his EXTENSIVE play list. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ.

Jason was INCREDIBLE!!!!! First off, the website he has for event profiles is amazing. it really allows you to set everything up in a cohesive way and then he can see it and view the ideas and ask for questions. We had our ceremony at the beach on a windy day and his equipment was top notch and absolutely no wind feedback. He then DJ'd our brunch reception offsite and we had significant timing delays which he adjusted the schedule for. He did a great job announcing and we even had a last minute change that he pulled off as smoothly as one could. Jason's prices were also reasonable and we couldnt have been happier with our selection with him. Thanks Jason!!

Our wedding was a ton of fun, thanks in part to Jason. He made sure the day kept flowing at the proper pace. In terms of planning, his website set out everything we needed to be thinking of and had a planning tool so that you can supply him with your info electronically. He didn't need finalized info until 3 days before the wedding, which was awesome since we were being so indecisive about our music selections (we are both music nerds). He also supplied us with a photo booth, which our guests absolutely loved. Any time we had a question, Jason got back to us in a very reasonable time frame. I would definitely recommend Absolute Best DJ Service.

I had a great experience with Jason from Absolute Best. Not only did I get a great deal, but I was so satisfied with the service. It was very convenient with the online login so I could make my playlists. Every time I emailed with questions, he responded right away and was extremely helpful. He was very entertaining for my guests, took requests, and was very pleasant overall. He also played all the songs I wanted even though they weren't the most traditional wedding picks. Jason was very easy to work with and always prompt with his correspondence. I loved his planning website, it made it so easy to add songs/ people for announcements etc... I was a little nervous working with a DJ just because I usually listen to metal and rock and I had no idea what to do for dancing at a wedding, ( I usually hate most pop dance songs) I loved Jason's selections and thought he did a great job. He even filled out one of our wedding mad libs for us!

Jason was our DJ for our wedding day and did a great job! We used him for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He met with us and went over the wedding day schedule. The online music management was great. We were able to log in and update when ever we needed to. We had plenty of time to provide him all of our needs and wants. He also provided us a lot on our minimal budget. I only spoke with him for a few minutes before the ceremony started. The music was timed perfectly. He didn't have a problem playing the nontraditional music we picked. We didn't have any complaints about the cocktail hour (we were having our photos taken so can't really say). Jason was great during the reception. He used the uplighting in the room that gave a great ambiance. He kept the reception flowing until the end of the night. I highly recommend him!

The music he played was very upbeat and had everyone on the dance floor. We had many kids at our wedding and all of the music was appropriate for all ages, and the kids never left the dance floor.

Ben from Absolute Best was the DJ for my wedding. He was absolutely perfect for my event. We met two days before the wedding and simply talked for about 45 minutes about music and our interests. He was so easy to talk to and seemed to get a great feel for what I enjoyed music wise. Music was very important to me as I wanted to dance with my groom and friends all night. Thank you to Jason and Absolute Best DJ! We recently had our wedding at Pine Lakes Country Club in Myrtle Beach and had Jason DJ our wedding. Overall from the months leading up to the wedding to the Day itself He was nothing but very professional and top notch. Jason took all our songs requests to heart and even built off that to play some great music and keep the guests engaged till the end of the night. For the value, professionalism, and overall experience he is your go to guy for weddings and events. If we have another event in the South, he will be the first person that we call. Jason was great to work with. Very easy to set up a couple meetings before the wedding, and in those meetings we went over everything he needed to know. At the actual wedding reception, he introduced everyone, introduced the various dances, cake cutting, plus a couple Polish traditions as well. He was professional, he had good equipment that sounded great, and played very good music for our reception. We couldn't have asked for anything more/different.

We had a dj lined up and just 2 weeks before the wedding thry cancelled. I called and these guys had a quote to me within 24 hours. The price was great, less than most others and included a military discount! The dj was very personable and knew just what types of music to play. Although i met him just minutes before the reception, it was like we had talked many times before. Very memorable!

We are very happy to have had Absolute Best DJ for our wedding! Jason was very helpful in helping us choose songs that we liked and our guests could enjoy also. On the dancefloor we let Jason take the lead on music and he kept everyone happy and dancing all night. Absolute Best is a great choice for any bride!

Jason was great to work with and provided great DJ services for our ceremony and reception! We used his sound system to mic our ceremony and then rocked out on the dance floor all night with his great wedding mix during the reception.

He has a great website where you can add music that you want and don't want played at the wedding. It was really easy to use and helped us figure out our wedding playlist. He was also very accommodating because there were several songs that I wanted that he didn't have in his database and he got them all before the wedding (and I only gave him a couple days!!!)

There was not a single dull moment on the dance floor the entire night. They had to kick us out of the venue because we all just wanted Jason to keep playing music. We had a great time and thought Jason and Absolute Best DJ would be great for any wedding or other occasion!!

Jason was great to work with. I love the interactive site he uses and the top hits list. It makes it so much easier to choose great songs from over the decades. He got the entire wedding party out on the dance floor.
We got married on the beach and he was also able to setup out there for us which made the day even better. I highly recommend him (and have already to a few friend)

Jason was amazing to work with! My husband and I felt so comfortable calling him and asking questions. He listened to our requests and really tried to get a feel for what our tastes were musically. He was a huge part in giving us the wedding of our dreams. People kept coming up to us and complimenting the flow and feel of our wedding. Jason was a big part in that. I would definitely recommend him!!

DJ Ben with Absolute Best made our wedding awesome! He was a huge help with figuring out our reception music. The online planners were a huge help aslo, especially since we are from out of state. We gave him an idea of what we liked and he nailed it! Our guest had a great time and everyone danced the night away. A non tacky but entertaining DJ is just what we wanted. The whole reception went super smooth and at our pace. We couldn't be happier with our experience!

Jason was awesome! He had a great system online to plan out the entire night, and everything went perfect. Everything at the wedding went on time, and in the correct order. The music was wonderful, and kept us dancing all night, by the end of the night we were exhausted from dancing all night! Wonderful service, and excellent prices. The up lighting and monogram was easy to choose and looked amazing. it matched our wedding colors perfectly.

Jason was great to work with, we gave him our timeline along with our music choices and everything went great. The ceremony was also done by Jason and was great. Music was loud enough for everyone to hear, but not over powering, and everything flowed smoothly. During the reception, with our timeline he helped to keep us on schedule so that nothing was left out that we wanted to do. He was flexible with us also, if we were running a little behind he would check to see if we needed a little while longer. Jason also did the lighting in the reception area with uplighting, cake, and dance floor. With the monogram, we were able to design it ourselves, and Jason tweeked it just a little to make sure that everything was visible when projected. The dance floor stayed full throughout the night all the way till the end. We had a great time, and our guest did also. I have and will continue to suggest Absolute Best DJ to others. Excellent value for everything together, and very professional.
