We worked with the team at About Faces Canton for all make-up (mine and the bridal party's), Michelle helped with all of our scheduling and details. We initially planned on having our bridal party get their makeup done at the Canton location, but ended up asking if the team could come to our venue at the Four Seasons because we had a getting-ready suite there. They were happy to oblige and it made our day so smooth and easy! No travel for us, and we were very relaxed getting ready in our suite. The make-up artists arrived right on time and did a fantastic job - the bridesmaids looked beautiful and I loved my bridal make-up - very natural, the way I wanted, I felt so pretty! I would definitely recommend working with the team at About Faces.

Lyudamila is a stylist at About Faces in Timonium and did updo's for my wedding. She did updo's for me, my mother, my mother-in-law, and three bridesmaids. While she works at the salon, she came to my location near the wedding venue for me. She arrived promptly as scheduled, was flexible with girls who needed touch-ups, and did a fabulous job with all the updo's. When I had a mix-up in the timeline to get ready, she was flexible and patient. Also, none of our hairstyles moved at all during the entire event! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She also does excellent highlights in the salon!

Jamie from About Faces did an incredible job coordinating the hair and makeup for my ladies. She was extremely professional throughout the entire process and the day of we were finished on time and looking great! I also commend the artists at About Faces on their ability to work on all skin colors and hair types and have everyone looking fantastic. Also, we saved a bunch on going to the salon vs. having someone come to us.

I spent a wonderful day before my wedding here. I got a massage, facial pedi and mani. I can't wait to go back for another day of bliss!

Rebekah got me prepped for my wedding with monthly facials, Stephanie cared for my eyebrows and Delmia took me from numbs to nails! The Saturday before the wedding we all spent a day of beauty and About Faces treated so very special big kudos to Delmia, Sanaa and Myhan who cared for the fingers and toes of my bridal party both male and female!

At the last minute I decided to have my hair and make-up professionally done for my wedding. I scheduled a pre-wedding appointment the week prior to the wedding and then had an appointment scheduled the day of the wedding. This was the best decision I ever made. Lana cut and styled my hair at the pre-wedding appointment and then styled for the wedding. She did a fabulous job. Susie did my makeup, and again, it was fabulous. They both were professional and made me feel at ease.

We used the timonium site. What a great experience. The staff was super attentive and the hair and make up looked great. A bit more than the average hair and make-up cost but honestly well worth it. My ladies looked great all evening (proof in the picts!) and my hair and make-up the same.

I had my hair, make-up and nails done at About Faces for the big day as well as my mom and several in my bridal party. Lauren did an amazing job on my hair. She spent quality time doing the test run with me (which I highly recommend everyone do WITH THE VEIL), and the finished product held on for 10 hours in humidity! It was sophisticated, creative, and it didn't look too "done" up. The make-up was also outstanding. I was affraid of looking like a clown (I don't wear much make-up) but I'm glad I had it done professionally because it was a little heaver than I would have applied and my pictures look fantastic for it!!! Thank you.

Choosing about faces day spa for my hair and make up was the best thing I ever did. I truley looked/felt gorgous. The make up artist even came in early to work with my hours

About Faces was amazing. They did my entire family and every style looked very elegant and stylish. I worked with the mother, daughter and they were amazing and it looked like everything I wanted it to be.

I went to the towson town center for a trial run for both my hair and makeup..I ended up using them just for makeup...Natalia did a phenominal job in applying my makeup...There are alot of professional makeup artists out there but rarely you find one with a true talent....And Natalia has both...You don't have to say much to her,and she will know exactly what suits you and what doesn't...She's a true perfectionist.And I am one of those picky, veryyy hard to impress people...And Natalia is more then great.
As for my hair trial,,it was the worst hair trial I ever had ,considereing I had a few .My hair by the time I left the place ,looked like nothing was done to it..The person who did it,had no idea what she was doing.Even though I sent pictures,of how I wanted my hair to be done .My hair became very static ,which didn't happen at any of the other trials,and the poor girl ,didn't know how to handle it,and whatever she tried t do ,just wouldn't work because of the static hair.
The people who work at the front desk,were all very sweet,nice,very friendly and helpfull.
I loved the environment there...and I would go again and again.
In my opinion to mimimize unhappy trials,,I would recommend to assign clients with stylists that have the experience to match the occasion..Because not every stylist is experienced with bridal hair.

I felt gorgeous - everything was truly worth the price for getting hair/makeup professionally done. My makeup shades were tailored especially for my skin tone so everything was completely custom and I looked like ME, just a more polished me. My hairdresser was also completely accomodating even with my extremely last minute change of mind. Plus they provide manicure/pedicure/spray tan - staff is extremely friendly and I felt like a model and had so many compliments. You get a lot more than what you pay for I think

Our whole bridal party got their hair and makeup done at About Faces the morning of the wedding. They were more than accommodating to our bridal party and even went to great lengths to make sure my wife and I did not see each other, even though we were in the salon at the same time. Steele did a wonderful job on my bridal updo considering I was not completely satisfied after my trial. Ali was my makeup artist. I wanted her to make some adjustments the morning of the wedding that differed from my trial and she out did herself. I was beaming from ear to ear I was so happy with how I looked!! Steele and Ali definitely won me over by how they took my suggestions/critiques to make me look exactly how I had always pictured on my special day!

I had my hair and makeup done at 9:30 in the morning, and my ceremony was not until 6:00 that evening. Both my hair and makeup stayed perfectly intact all day and well into the night. They were also extraordinarily friendly.

Yanny is wonderful! She did a great job with my hair (just what I wanted) and Natallia did my makeup, I loved it. So natural and elegant!

Great for before wedding treatments. The salon is very nice and comfortable. I would recommend for massages and nail treatments. I didn't get hair or make-up done there but we did the other services during the week before the wedding and they were great. My only complaint is that their prices are a little high.

About Faces were great. They did everyone in the wedding party's hair and makeup. It looked beautiful. Ask for Natalia to do your makeup. she is the best one. They were very professional and opened the salon early just for me. I highly recommend them. The price was a little expensive but worth it for a special event.

Missy in Towson did a great job on my hair. It was even better the second time around (wedding day) so I was more than happy. She definitely knew what she was doing. They do charge a little more if you tell them it's for a wedding tho, which irks me.

they were very good about doing everyone's hair and nails. they weren't so good about being on time with the nail appointments, but they did speed up the hair to make up for it (with no loss to quality)

All hair & make-up was done at About Faces Towson for the day of my wedding. All my girl's came out with beautiful hair and lovely faces! Their make-up complimented their individual features.

Mani-Pedis were done here as well, I was satisfied with the job but should not have paid as much as we did. The only negative about the entire experience was when one of the nail techs was upset by a booking confusion and interrupted my conversation with my mom and bridesmaids. She raised her voice over the confusion and had to be verbally subdued by my maid of honor who told her what for! After that, she was cheerful, ha.

I had my hair done by Yani & make-up by Natalia. Yani did a great job and was honest with what could and could not be done to my hair, according to my facial structure. I was very pleased with the outcome. Natalia was great as well. I brought in pictures of the look I wanted and she was able to mould my ideas into a very pretty pallette. Overall, great experience!

Mylene used Jane Iredale mineral make up and also put false eyelashes on me at no extra cost. I felt like she really listened to me and had my best interests in mind. About Faces was great. I recommend it and I recommend Mylene- she is truly an artist.

I didn't realize how costly it was going to be for me and my bridesmaids but I would think to earn my business the first updo should have been cheap but it wasn't. Then she didn't even remember what she did to my hair on the day of the wedding. It was hard to confirm my appointment and they didn't speak good english.

I had an awful experience with About Faces. The girl that did my hair was 30 minutes late for my trial and then the day of the wedding - w/o any apologies. My sister's make up had to be completed by another person b/c the first girl did a terrrible job. Don't go there the day of your wedding unless you have plenty of extra time and PATIENCE!!!

I had a make up trial here (Towson Location), which was the first of many appointments i had made (hair trial, day of for me and the wedding party), but afterwards, I ended up canceling ALL of the other appointments. the staff was very unprofessional (other staff people were constantly interrupting my makeup artist throughout the appointment. i was not the focus of this staff person and the finished makeup reflected this. it also ended up taking over 90 minutes) the look i left with was not at all what i was going for, and I was REALLY unimpressed with how my skin looked (i had to ask them to cover up a scar i had before i left, like really? how can i trust this person on my wedding day?) They also put fake eyelashes on me (which I never asked for and was never told I would be charged extra for) which ended up irritating my eye badly (swollen eyelid and loss of eyelashes). I felt everyone was more interested in selling products than actual service delivery. Keep in mind the trial was done in the front of the store where basically everyone can see you so maybe things would've gone better if the brides were taken to another area. Further, when it was clear I was less than enthused about the finished product, the makeup artist made some comments about my skin that offended me. I honestly get compliments on my skin all of the time! Also I had mentioned how hot I was in the beginning, and she had the nerve to tell me i was dehydrated, yet NOBODY offered me water at any time during the almost 2 hours I was there. I thought that was really strange because at every salon i have ever been to, they always offer me a cup of water. I left there rushing to get to a party for me, and feeling very distressed and self-conscious. I did try to contact management twice, but the second time was told the manager was "out for the weekend" . Worst salon I experienced in my life. No bride should ever have to go through such an experience!!
