  Highly Recommend!

  Fatima is amazing!! Not only is she fantastic at what she does, but she is very personable and made my appointments so fun! I could not be happier with how she made me feel like my dress was made just for me. I highly recommend Fatima for all of your alteration needs!

  Amazing talented, and very personable

  Let me start by saying fatima made my wedding vision a reality. As a bride wearing a RED wedding gown Fatima was ecstatic to work with me , a bride going a non traditional route. Just by chatting with Fatima you can tell she loves what she does!!!
  
  I contacted her about 9 month out from. My wedding to assist with custom veil.
  I bought a veil i had made online which was a mess. It looked cheep and i knew ot would not work. Luckily i had Fatima to the rescue...she and i bounced ideas back and forth and she completely revamped my veil it came out amazing !!!
  she even sent me progress photos and asked my opinion along the way. And used the same beading and sequins to mach my wedding gown ..it is 1 of a kind .
  
  About 6 weeks from my wedding i came back to do my gown alteration . My dress required being taken in and a bustle. She did amzing work. She even taught my mother and bridesmaids how to get me into the dress correctly and do the bustle!
  When i came to pick up she required me to try on to ensures everthing was corect. It was perfect!!!
  She takes pride in her work and it certainly shows !

  I'm very happy I went with Fatima to do my wedding dress alterations! I was nervous about the dress process so of course procrastinated trying to find someone to do my alterations. Fatima saved me and my dress and fit me in fairly late (in wedding dress timelines). The dress came out great. We had to shorten the shoulders which included detailed bead work. She did a wonderful job on my bustle and really took the time to make it look great instead of just gathering it up on my backside. She had my maid of honor come and learn how to do the bustle which made the day of my wedding run smoothly! I'll definitely be using her again for alterations in the future!

Fatima not only made my dress fit perfectly for me, but she made me FEEL amazing and confident in it! Her recommendation on where to wear the belt made such a difference. She is flexible, reasonable prices and very funny to work with! You won't be disappointed!

  Of course, every bride is nervous to have their dress altered but with Fatima you are in good hands. My alterations were perfect and she was reasonably priced.

  Fatima was AMAZING! My dress fit me like a glove. The hem was perfect and the bustle was absolutely stunning. She even recognized that my belt would look better if it was snapped to my dress and had belt loops. Without Fatima's expertise my dress would definitely not have looked as stunning. Thank you!

  Fatima was very professional, fun to work with, and did an amazing job on my wedding dress, my mother in law's dress, and my bridesmaids dress. Her work was not only affordable, completed timely, and very detailed but she was very knowledgeable as well on all things alterations. We enjoyed working with her so much I referred her to my husband's cousin, who now loves working with her as well! Highly recommend from one bride to another!

  Fatima has been exceptionally accommodating to my needs. I got a dress 4 sizes too big, and Fatima did an absolutely fantastic job of taking it in to showcase my figure in the best possible way. The dress fit perfectly. She has amazing attention to details and always goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are satisfied and happy. She made me feel at ease instantly and listened carefully to my requests. She is unbelievably personable and easy to work with. Your wedding day is in the best hands possible if your lucky enough to have her on your team. Thank you, Fatima, for your outstanding work!

With less than a week before my wedding day, my dress arrived and I didn't know what to do. Fatima worked magic! My dress fit like a glove. Her price was more than reasonable given the circumstances and I could not have been happier with the results. She is professional, funny, and extremely talented. Thank you forever Fatima ??

  Terrible! Still haven't received my refund

  I hired MyAbishai, run by Fatima Bey in October of 2022 to do my wedding dress for my wedding in April of 2023. She was quick to ask for payment of half the cost of the dress before even giving me a contract. I had to ask her for a contract and then I paid her. She refused to take my measurements for the dress. This should have been my first red flag but since I already paid her and read the positive reviews I assumed all would be well. For the next few months, this woman gave me the run around and never made any significant progress to complete my address. All the way up to April, the only thing she did was the veil. Fearing, that I would be walking down the aisle naked, I asked her to give me the incomplete dress so that I can find another seamstress. She refused. I then asked her to refund my payment so that I can buy a dress last minute off the rack. She refused, saying that she cannot afford to pay me back. It has now been a year since my wedding and I received no dress from her and no refund of my payment. All brides should beware before doing any business with this woman.
