Abigail was wonderful to work with, very responsive and flexible with us as we changed our timeline during the planning process. Once she was onsite, she was respectful and very easy to work with. Abigail Mott Poetry was an absolute highlight of our wedding! From the moment I started planning wedding favors, I knew I didn’t want to go the traditional route. I wanted something meaningful, personalized, and memorable—and Abigail delivered beyond my expectations.
Abigail set up on-site with her vintage typewriter, crafting bespoke poems for our guests. The experience of watching her work her magic was captivating, and the poems she created were nothing short of incredible. Each one was so thoughtful and unique, tailored perfectly to the person receiving it.
Our guests were blown away by the experience, and the poems have since become cherished keepsakes that remind them of our special day. Hiring Abigail was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

It’s always an absolute pleasure working with Abigail! As an event planner, I can’t think of a better addition to a wedding reception. Couples and guests alike adore her and the poetry she creates for them. I cannot tell you how often I have seen people tear up with joy from her words. She has a way of capturing the essence of a person, couple, or topic, that no one else comes close to replicating. Her professionalism and quality of service go above and beyond. I hired Abigail for my son's wedding in CO.
She did an amazing job! Having her there was something unexpected and different, which I loved. So did our guests.
As a matter of fact, there was a constant line of people, waiting to give her a topic to write a poem about. All of whom went home with that special momento from their weekend celebrating with us.
She was responsive before the event, and extremely professional during the evening. She was wonderful to have during the wedding weekend. But honestly, I'd hire her for other parties as well! What she adds to a celebration is very special. -

Crowd favorite!
We hired Abigail for our wedding. She was absolutely wonderful. The guests were all blown away by their poems and it was a fun souvenir for them to take home and remember the day by. My two that she wrote me literally made me cry. She was able to capture the day in her writing and give us something we can look back on in the future. Would 100% recommend her for any event. Abigail was professional and easy to communicate with. -

Vows for our elopement
Abby typed our vows when we eloped. We absolutely love and cherish them! She made the process very easy and worked with us to keep them secret from each other. They looked great in our photos and they are hanging in our home today! We have also commissioned Abby’s work for anniversaries and birthdays. She is incredible at taking a simple concept and writing a beautiful poem. We highly recommend Abby! -
