    Perfect experience

    Abbott Party Rental was the perfect place to rent all of our items for our outdoor wedding. They had everything we needed. We rented a tent, white garden chairs, tables, linens, lighting, a stage for our band, a generator, and a trailer bathroom. We worked with Bob who was absolutely incredible. He went over the order multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed to make our day perfect. Not only was he thorough, he was also honest. We originally had an air conditioner and side walls on our invoice. He kept track of the weather and convinced us that we didn’t need those things looking ahead at the weather. This saved us a lot of money. In addition to this, he gave us other tips to help us save money and gave us suggestions that could make the experience for the guests a lot better. We appreciated his advice and loved the chance to work with him.

    Setup went smooth. Doug and his crew were amazing and got everything set up in two days. We had a giant tent and a lot of equipment, so it was impressive that it only took them two days. We did have an issue with one of the tables being broken but Doug made sure to get that fixed right away by sending us a new table.

    Overall, we loved our experience with Abbott Party Rental, and we highly recommend them!

    Outstanding service, made dreams a reality

    recommended without hesitation, they provided excellent service, and were timely, up-front and courteous every step of the way. They made a backyard wedding into a dream come true!!

    Wonderful service

    Rented a 20x30 tent for our wedding and a bunch more stuff such as tables, chairs, table cloths , lighting etc. we are happy to say that it turned out great. Thank you Abbott Party Rental.

    April Wedding - Dance Floor

    We rented a wooden dance floor from Abbott. Very easy to work with, spoke to our venue, and everything turned out great!

    Amazing Company

    Had an awesome experience with Abbott Party Rental. Very professional company that made my day a dream come true. We rented a tent, tables and linens, chairs, heater, beverage dispenser, sound system and coolers. The heated tent we rented was beautiful and everything went so smoothly. What a great company to work with and we will continue to use them for future events.

    What a nightmare we had going before Abbott came along and rescued us!

    Less than two weeks before my daughter's wedding, the company she had already hired, booked and PAID in advance called my daughter and told her they were going out of business and having to file bankruptcy and unfortunately they could no longer make their OBLIGATED apoointment for her! How in the world they didn't know this until 2 weeks before they were supposed to host my daughter's big event is beyond unbelievable (but I guess that is for the judge to figure out!)

    Anyway, they have their own review (although what's it matter now, right?) so enough about them... let me tell you about how Abbott saved the day!

    We called around in a panic...obviously...and no one could help, until we called Abbott. They understood our situation and immediately started working with me and my daughter's MOH to set everything up less than two weeks before the event. Because of them, we were able to still have everything stay as scheduled and everything went off without a single issue!.

    The equipment was all beautiful and well maintained. Most items looked brand new, and the sound quality of their sound system was good enough to almost make up for the karaoke. Everything was set up and ready before the caterers arrived. The staff couldn't have been nicer, more professional or better trained.

    Considering the circumstances of the situation, Abbott receives an A+++ from us just for being able to rescue my daughter's big day, but even with such short notice, they really were a high class and very professional company.

    Highly recommend!

    I recently got married at a beautiful outdoor venue in St. Charles, IL that Abbott Party Rental recommended. I can't say enough positive things about this company. They were responsive, professional and timely. I began planning my wedding about a year ago. Abbott truly made my event go off without a single hitch. I had a big tent, dance floor, tables with beautiful linens. The works!!!!! Everything was fabulous. They people are the best. On top of all this, we were on a tight budget. We shopped around and they had the best prices. I'm a happy bride!!!!

    Abbott Party Rental absolutely exceeded all my expectations. They were knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. My wedding plan changed a million times!! They really went with the flow. My now husband and I really enjoy dancing. So a big dance floor was really important to us. Abbott set up this beautiful dance floor with all these cool special effects lights. It was AWESOME!!!!! To anyone considering using Abbott, use with confidence. They are the real deal.

    I have been planning my wedding for over two years. I am so happy I found Abbott Party Rental. They were super professional and caring. I know I turned into a Bridezilla as my date got closer. They were patient and helpful. My emails and calls were always promptly returned. I spent more than I should have, but I got EXACTLY what I wanted. The wedding of my dreams. I couldn't have done this without Abbott and their pro wedding planners and delivery crew. They had absolutely everything we needed. I highly recommend them to any bride and hope you'll be as satisfied as I am!!!! Thanks guys for everything.

    I recently got married on May 28, 2016. I needed everything including a huge tent. I called three different rental companies. Two of the three barely gave me the time of day. I then spoke to Abbott Party Rental. They were friendly, informative and patient with me. Unbelievably, they had the best prices too! They told me exactly what I needed. The delivery crew arrived two days before my wedding. The installation guys were even nicer! The tent was "magnificent" and bright white. Everything looked brand new and clean. I cannot say enough positive, good things about this company. The owner Bob basically held my hand throughout this very stressful ordeal. Thanks to Bob and his staff. Highly recommend.

    We needed a great party rental company for our wedding and called Abbott Party Rental for a quote for tables, chairs and a tent. They were very responsive with a great quote. Abbott Party Rental said they would everything. When we got the tent and chairs they were clean and well taken care of. Their staff who came by to help setup for the party was friendly and very proficient. I was so happy with the customer service from the call to order everything to them coming by and setting it up. Our wedding was a HUGE success! I would recommend anyone who is looking for a party or wedding to call Abbott Party Rental. They did a great job and we will use them in the future.

    My pleasant experience.

    Abbott Party Rental was a joy to work with. Valerie was professional and super knowledgeable. We rented a big white tent and all the trimmings. I was very stressed but they assured me that everything would go smoothly, and it did! I could have been happier. Highly recommend.

    Abbott Party Rental is a great company. They have a lot of colored and textured linens to choose from so you don't get stuck with just white tablecloths and they have everything you could possibly need, especially if you're having an ala carte wedding like we did where our outdoor venue was a gorgeous blank canvas. I was able to create the rock and roll wedding of my dreams thanks to Valerie and Abbot Party Rental. I recommend renting the party lantern package; you get to choose the colors you want and they provide twelve lanterns in different sizes that really make your party pop. You can also rent tents, plates, coffee urns, champagne flutes, games, dance floors and much more from them at decent prices. You will work with Valerie, who is a pro at being a site coordinator. She can give you ideas or she will take your ideas and make your vision come true. trust me Abbott is a great company! The rentals were the most expensive thing in our wedding. But our wedding rocked

    I was doing a FRANTIC search for rental place that has serving pieces. Who would have know that the platters, pitchers & serving bowls would be so hard to find? Rebecca was great to work with and they had plenty of options to choose from.
    We were able to rent all our stuff via emails & phone calls as they are located 120 mi from me, and it worked!
    The only "snafu" came on pick up day and somehow there weren't enough platters in the right size. One phone call got the "issue" fixed to our satisfaction, and all was good!
    The quality of the pieces is excellent, I especially loved the square platters!
    No disappointment from me!!!
    Use them with confidence!!!

    The quality of table cloth were very nice, they were clean and pressed, however they fell just a notch below on customer service. They did not do anything bad but they lack professional demeanor and friendliness.

    I'm not sure where to start, because Abbott Party Rental, specifically Valerie, were the absolute worst people to work with for my wedding.

    We had a BEAUTIFUL ceremony at a lovely little place called Banbury Fair in Bartlett, IL. I couldn't speak more highly of this location or the people who run it, because they are fantastic to work with.

    However, they go through Abbott Party Rental, which was absolutely HORRIBLE to work with. From the get go, Valerie passed my name and personal information onto a wedding coordinator with never consulting me.

    Second, Valerie constantly pushed my now husband and I to spend money to the point that we almost dropped APR entirely because of the amount of uncomfortable pressure she placed on us. I genuinely felt like she was trying to take advantage of us. Instead of listening to my concerns, she still continued to pressure us to purchase large ticket rental items. For the times we did agree to purchase certain rentals, Valerie was so over the top in complimenting us, that both my husband and I felt like she was patronizing us.

    Third, and the absolute worst thing that happened, is that two days before the wedding, the rental company delivered the wrong color of lanterns that were to be hung from the tent. Then they were over 25 chairs short, and there was no promise that they would be delivered on time. I called Valerie, and she made up the excuse that people might damage the 25 missing chairs, but that the already over 100 chairs that were there would be fine. She said she was giving me a deal having the chairs delivered two days early, and that I should really be paying them more money. What felt so wrong about this is that she promised upfront, 9 months before the wedding, that every rental piece would be delivered two days prior. She proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and was the one to blame. And all of this happened the day before my wedding. I felt so stressed - I would never work with this company ever again.

    Please save yourself from stress and don't even think about this place. Granted, they have the cheapest rates around but dealing with Tony the sales guy is a nightmare.

    He's difficult to contact, doesn't understand email (everything is faxed), can't spell and is just generally not a real pleasant guy.

    Still, all that would definitely be worth putting up with for the great savings. Until the day of your delivery and you find out at the eleventh hour that Tony screwed up and marked your order as a Pickup instead of a Delivery (despite the delivery fee and address being right there on the faxed agreement) and you've got to figure out a way to get the rental items to your event because Tony turns into the true jerk that he is (screaming at me for being too demanding when he was the one who screwed up).

    Not exactly what a bride wants or needs to be dealing with around her wedding. Pay the extra $100 or so and go with a professional company like Hall's or Classic Party Rental. I wish I had a time machine!

    I ordered 40 chairs and 8 round tables from APR. They delivered on Thursday and my party was Saturday. Delivery went smoothly and all was well. Until Saturday morning when we started to set up for the 2 pm party. The chairs were very dirty and had to be washed to be used. The round tables had scratches and damaged edges (probably from rolling them from place to place).. These damaged edges were a danger to my guests. I had to put a thick tape on each of them before I placed the table cloths on the tables or the edges would have caused cuts to my guests. When I phoned a young girl answered and was very nice. She said the manager would call me back. He never did so I phoned again. He then gave me a credit of $1.25 for one damaged, unusable chair and $10.00 for cleaning his chairs. I did not feel that this was enough or fair. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY!
