Chris is easily one of the best vendors we worked with throughout our wedding planning process. He always responded to our emails right away, offered to go above and beyond with his services, and was just generally supportive and sweet. All the right vibes you need from your vendors on the big day. He set up extra audio equipment for our outdoor ceremony as well as brought a bunch of party lights for our reception. He guides you through all the music choices you'd possibly need to make for a wedding during the planning process, and is happy to give suggestions or edit songs if necessary. Would absolutely recommend! -

DJ Chris Abbate was amazing to work with. We met with him on zoom a couple times before our wedding to discuss our songs, wants, and needs for the wedding and he went above and beyond expectations. He suggested ways to add to our entrance with our bridal party and even coordinated with them all what to do for the entrance, brought lights to make the dance floor and overall atmosphere look even better, and was so friendly and easy to work with. We can't say enough great things about him! If you are looking for an experienced, friendly, well priced, and overall great person and DJ then we recommend hiring him! The guests were texting us the next day raving about how great our DJ was and how much they enjoyed his song choices and they also loved that he had a QR code so they could request songs! -

Chris was nothing short of incredible! He knew exactly what we wanted as far as music and was so helpful in taking the vibe we were going for and coming up with the perfect night of music to dance to. He also was able to cut music for our first dance and entrances which made the whole experience so easy. The lighting and monogram was such a nice touch and added so much personalization to our day. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris!!! -

Chris was an incredible wedding DJ! We got married on June 17, 2023 and he met with us multiple times to coordinate our music preferences and make sure we were happy with the overall plan. He was always responsive to our emails and made us feel confident leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, Chris was awesome! He kept the party going all night long and read the crowd perfectly. He played all of our favorite songs and kept the dance floor going all night! We worked with him to create a light stencil that had all the guests super impressed. Chris was also a lot of fun to work with! He was always positive and upbeat, and he made sure that we were having a great time. He was a huge part of making our wedding day special and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ; wedding or otherwise. He will make sure that your wedding day is one that you will never forget! -

Chris Abbate was so friendly and professional. We really appreciated his guidance trying to navigate the day of timeline for first dances, speeches and navigating our guests through the different spaces of our venue. We offered minimal input for music and he had this cool link for guests to request songs. Between those two things, the music was on point and people were dancing non-stop for the entirety of our event. -

Above and beyond expectations!!
Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our wedding was on October 23, 2022 at Roger Williams Botanical Center in Providence, RI. He helped bring so many aspects of our day together seamlessly and was professional from the first moment we spoke with him. In addition to helping us with our timeline and keeping us on time the day of, he edited our ceremony entrance song for us and provided our dance floor and up lighting. He also brought an assistant with him to control a second DJ booth in our dinner room and this assistant happened to be a guitarist who played dinner music while we were eating! We had no idea about the guitarist until we sat down to eat and it was such a beautiful gift to us on our special day! Chris, we can’t thank you enough for making our day perfect. Please don’t hesitate to book this company for your wedding, you won’t be disappointed. -

Chris was amazing from setting up meetings to go over everything that we wanted to making sure a week before that we were all set. The day of the wedding he was professional, easy going and brought a lot of energy to the reception. I have lost track of how many guests at our wedding came up to us and said “your DJ is amazing!!! Where did you find him??”. The endless compliments from all guests have not stopped. Chris was so helpful to us from the start of the process when we got engaged in the middle of 2020 during covid, all the way through the wedding day. On top of being very affordable for us, his experience showed during the planning as well. We didn’t know where to begin or what to expect but from our first call with him, Chris walked us through the process from start to finish. Our goal for this wedding was to make it as fun & memorable as possible - a party no one will ever forget. That is exactly what Chris helped us accomplish with the best music selection we could have hoped for. Thank you so much, Chris!! -

Chris was absolutely phenomenal! He had the some of the best rates I could find online, was incredibly responsive, and we knew we were in great hands working with him. He worked with us to help us cut down the length of some of our songs, gave us a lot of helpful advice along the way, and even worked with us when we had to postpone the original wedding date due to COVID. We can't recommend Abbate entertainment enough!! -

We got married 8/7/21 and Chris was our DJ. He was absolutely amazing the entire process from higher to execution! Chris really understood our vision and created an entire night of our favorite music! Guests danced the night away! Chris was very professional and courteous and so accommodating to our every request! He was completely on top of our timeline and every announcement. As an added bonus he was also the most reasonably price DJ we had ever come across! Highly recommend you to hire him for any event you may have! -

Amazing!!!!!!! Simply amazing!!!
From the moment we looked up Chris he was responsive from day one remained responsive remained excepting of all that we needed and wanted for a great day. His knowledge of music was phenomenal his music bank was endless. He even had music by JoJo Siwa which surprised me but delighted my granddaughter. His interactions with the guest as well as the wedding party was phenomenal. I hope that he is still in business in eight years for my granddaughter‘s sweet 16 party. I would recommend him for any event where entertainment DJ and MC is needed. Chris put our minds at ease work with us with flexible timing during the event and had a constant smile throughout the entire event. I cannot word it strongly enough that we would recommend him to anyone for any event. He made the day far Then we ever imagined. The value of his service was perfect fair and reasonable. He arrived earlier than he agreed which put our minds at ease. -

We hired Chris to DJ our wedding last weekend and we could not have been happier! Chris was professional and responsive during the planning process. I had a lot of requests and we talked a lot about different options and he was always helpful and ensured everything was exactly what we wanted! He was also very patient when we didn’t decide on our first dance song until the day before the wedding! 😆He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and we all had so much fun! I’ve had so many guests compliment me on the DJ/ music! -

Chris was so great to work with! He makes sure to schedule meetings with you right up to your event so you know everything is set and ready to go! He even edited a few songs to have them how we wanted for our ceremony and first dance! Lastly, he knew his audience and absolutely killed it at the reception! Thank you Chris!!!!!

I am so disappointed in the DJ services Chris provided for my wedding ceremony. I hired him based off of all the good reviews I read, so I just want to warn other brides of what happened to me. Chris did not only not play the songs I chose for my wedding ceremony - he did not play anything at all when my bridal party entered or when I walked down the aisle. I was so heartbroken to be walking down the aisle to dead silence and I had no idea what was going on or why the music was not playing. What was still worse is that the mic that Chris gave my officiant was not functioning properly - it was cutting out after every other word and no one could understand what was being said. I was just so embarrassed and sad. I had never considered that hiring the wrong DJ could literally ruin my wedding ceremony. Chris never explained why his equipment did not work or why he didn't perform his job at literally the most critical moment. -

I don’t usually write bad reviews and it’s taken me a while to decide to write this one but I’m still so upset with how the night was. The DJ cancelled on us weeks before the wedding and gave us his backup. This new DJ was really nice which makes me feel bad about this review but it is what it is. Too many awkward moments and nothing we discussed was done. Multiple guests asked me if this guy was new. He announced our names wrong, didn’t play music for us to walk back down the aisle. Didnt listen to any of the details I asked for over and over again and wasn’t good at mixing. Songs shouldn’t repeat after we’ve danced to them. The issues could go on and on but bottom line is, he made the night awkward and unforgettable in a bad way.
