  We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Abacus. It was so amazing. The food was great and so was the service. Everyone is still talking about it.

  I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with Abacus! Their event coordinator has always been very helpful and responsive with all phone calls and emails about my wedding planning. Their food is...just amazing (try their praline chicken!!!) And the venue is beautiful, and one of the abosulte best values in both venues and catering around. If you're looking for a beautiful, 1940s New Orleans-styled venue, I highly, HIGHLY recommend checking them out!

  Abacus was wonderful! This venue is very affordable and the food was great! We had our wedding and reception on Sunday because the venue was completely booked for Saturdays for the next few months. It saved us half the costs! Due to saving half of the venue fee we purchased the wine and beer package instead of just offering our guests soft drinks and juice. The event planner that assisted me (Wesley) was very professional and responded quickly when I had questions about anything. My wedding guest list was small (100) compared to some so we had our reception in the Original Abacus dining area, which was supposed to accomodate all of my guests. They offer smaller and larger rooms at this location that you can choose from. My only critique is that their weren't enough tables and chairs to accomodate all of my guests even though our event planner had those numbers all along. During our event the coordinator had to assist us with pulling out extra chairs that we scattered throughout the hall once the reception had already started, which left some of our guests eating in their laps! Nonetheless everyone enjoyed their evening and I would definitely refer friends and family here. If I had to plan another event I would also return. I would just pay more attention to the setup and insist on the event planner accomodating all of my numbers if the number of seating fell less than the number of guests.

  We used Abacus for our ceremony, reception, and their catering for our rehearsal dinner. We absolutely loved everything. The aesthetic of the building was perfect for what we envisioned. It's gorgeous! Wesley, the GM, was wonderful to work with from the beginning. Their food is absolutely amazing. We got tons of compliments on it for the rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding. We had Andrew (another manager) come to our rehearsal dinner to help set up and serve the guests, and he was extremely helpful and sweet. For our wedding, Andrew and Wesley were both there to ensure everything went smoothly. Andrew would find us and offer us plates of food and drinks throughout the night, since we didn't have much time to get it ourselves between visiting with guests. Overall, the entire staff at Abacus was super helpful to us and catered to all of our needs. We were extremely happy with our decision to use Abacus, and would recommend it to anyone!

  This was a beautiful place to have a wedding! It is absolutely gorgeous in the evening with candlelight. Micheal Doumit was fantastic in helping me with seating arrangements, meal selection, and general wedding planning type duties. Everyone raved about the food. My only complaint about this building is that its broken up into smaller rooms so it was difficult for people to know when we were cutting cake, tossing bouquet etc because they couldn't hear it in other rooms. But overall, excellent place.

  They did not have an area for the bridal party to get ready. This was the ONLY downfall! Everything else was amazing!
