A pleasure to work with, beautiful photos!

The thing that stands out to me most is how Aaron managed to be everywhere, to get the shot, and still not be in the way of anything. Aaron's positive energy immediately got us in a good mental space for our couple's photos (before the ceremony) and set us up for a great night. He listened carefully, stayed in touch, and delivered on what we had talked about. As our friends tell the stories of our wedding, it is his images that captured the scenes. On the business side, Aaron was clear and professional while also allowing us to make decisions even up to the day of the event (extra time, etc.), the packages he offered fit well for us and he was able to explain (accurately!) how much time we would likely need of his services to cover the event as we described it. Payment was simple and all of his contract, invoice, and copyright release information was very clear.

So glad we picked Aaron!

We hired Aaron for our September wedding. He was exceptional! His warm personality and style made it easy for us to relax for photo shoots. So many of our guests commented on how much they appreciated his style. His pictures were so wonderful, we had a hard time picking which ones to frame. He was one of the people who made our wedding memorable! We highly recommend him.

Aaron is exceptional

Aaron is exceptional. He's an exceptional photographer— words fail to describe how thrilled we were by the pictures he took at our wedding. He's also an exceptional human being—me made us, and all of our guests, feel comfortable, safe, and at ease being themselves.

So many guests and relatives commented about Aaron's warmth and kindness. This ability to make everyone feel at ease celebrating really shines through in the photos, which capture the magic and tell the story in a way we couldn't have anticipated but are so grateful to have.

His rates were among the most reasonable that we encountered, and he made himself available to stay late and arrive early day of. He pinned everyone's boutonnieres. He delivered the photos more quickly than expected, and also sent us a number of prints, which was a generous surprise.

We can't recommend Aaron more highly. One of the very best decisions we made in our wedding planning process!

Stunning photos! Amazing experience!

Aaron took our elopement pictures and they turned out wonderful! The lighting was stunning and how he framed the pictures was unique and classic. He had great attention to detail as he fluffed the dress and set up the pictures. He posed us in a way that looked relaxed, natural, and romantic.

Aaron was so easy and fun to work with! He was easy to communicate with, flexible when we had scheduling issues, and made us laugh while taking pictures.

Would recommend Aaron to anyone in the Portland area for elopements!

Amazing Photographer

We had Aaron photograph our wedding in October in West Linn and he did an absolutely stunning job. We selected Aaron because his portfolio showed a good mix of beautiful staged photos along with candid shots that capture the feel of the day. He did not disappoint! The couples and family photos we received were better than I could have imagined and the candids allowed us to see so many happenings we missed. Plus Aaron was so professional, easy to work with and was so nice with the family and kiddos. I can't stop looking at our photos and we have so many good ones the hardest part is choosing which to frame!! Thank you so much Aaron!

Authentic, humorous and stunning photographs!

Aaron is a fantastic photographer and so so wonderful to work with! He was the only photographer we met with and we instantly knew he was the one to capture our backyard wedding. Aaron was able to help us relax with his sense of humor and calm demeanor when taking photos. He is also incredibly kind, he brought me a slice of pizza when I was feeling queasy and resting prior to the ceremony. We love every photo he took of our wedding! He captured so many small moments of joy during our reception, from over the top dancing to full body laughter. Aaron is truly authentic, humorous and a joy to work with - I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Flexible, energetic, and attenuative to detail

Aaron did an amazing job with not only doing our wedding pictures, but also reaching out to see how plans have changed with COVID and giving us options for pictures if we had to change dates. Aaron also did our proposal pictures, this is where flexibility comes in. Aaron was willing to fly to Colorado for the proposal and adapted so well when I went the wrong way on a trail. Aaron asks what is most important to us in the pictures and delivers!

Captured the best moments, felt like a guest!

Aaron was amazing! From our first conversation over the phone to the very end of our wedding, he shared our excitement and made our wedding even more memorable. We just received our photos, and I can't believe how many small moments he was able to catch that truly made our wedding special. He caught my wife's favorite faces, my friends' best moments, and cute moments with our younger cousins on the dance floor!

Pleasure to Work With

My fiance and I chose Aaron because of his artsy style and his humor. Aaron is really good at what he does. I always thought that I like formal pictures way better than candids but looking over our wedding photos I have to say that the candids he captures are just as incredible! I always need a little help with posing because I never know what to do in front of a camera and always hold my chin too high but Aaron helped a lot with directing us how to stand or where to look so the pictures came out natural looking. It was a pleasure working with Aaron and I highly recommend him to any bride.

We are so glad we chose Aaron to be our wedding photographer! He was super professional and made us feel very comfortable right off the bat. He responded to all of our emails very quickly and was great about communicating with us regarding scheduling for our big day. The pictures were beyond amazing, and we received so many compliments from friends and family about how beautiful they were. He emailed us the photos promptly and did a great job with edits. Aaron is a master at portrait photography, and he did a wonderful job of incorporating the natural landscape into our photos. He made our big day feel so much more relaxed, because he put us at ease with his calm demeanor and friendly personality. We can't say enough about him, and we highly recommend his services. He blended in perfectly with our wedding crowd and did an amazing job of capturing every moment!

Absolutely fantastically amazing – there aren’t enough adjectives to describe how much we loved Aaron and his work! It was quite the uphill battle to convince my notoriously camera-shy husband how important photography was for our wedding, but he came around, and Aaron was a key part of that process. Aaron is very easy to get along with, and makes getting stared at through a lens a fun experience. He fit in so well with our guests, and I’m pretty sure they all want to hire him for their professional photo projects. He’s also marvelously talented. His photos all show such joy and laughter, which is exactly what we wanted the memories of our wedding to show. We are so in love with our photographs. Hire Aaron, right now. You won’t be disappointed.

We met with a few different people when we started looking for our wedding photographer, and Aaron's approach and attitude really stood out to us. He asked a lot of great questions in the planning phases and really understood the type of couple we were and the feel of the photos we wanted. He was laid back and seemed to fit with our style a lot.

We first had Aaron do our engagement photos, and they were amazing. He was able to capture the vibe and atmosphere that really fit us as a couple and the shots turned out excellent. He had a good eye for finding nearby locations and was able to work with our schedule to get the shots done efficiently. He also got them back to us very quickly, which helped in getting our invitations and website put together.

For the wedding photos, we really wanted more candid moments and not too many staged/posed photos and Aaron really listened and captured those moments amazingly! The photos all have a timeless look that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives.

We had told Aaron that we wanted to do the majority of our photos before the ceremony so that we could enjoy our time with our guests. And we wanted some photos during sunset golden hour, but didn't want to be gone from the reception for too long. Aaron worked very efficiently to get great photos of us with our family, bridal party and friends before the ceremony with time to spare for us to get ready and be on time. Then during the dancing time of the night, we were able to get away for some quick sunset photos without having to miss much of the festivities.

All of the photos look amazing, and he is great at coaching and directing you when you he's taking your pictures. We felt at ease the whole time and had fun working with him.

He got our finalized photos back to us within a few weeks after our wedding, which is amazing because a lot of our friends said their photographers took months to get them back.

My husband and I met with several different photographers and only after a few minutes into our meeting with Aaron we knew he was the perfect fit. First off, his pictures are gorgeous, artistic, unique and beautiful. He is so flexible and easy to work with. We were having part of our wedding outdoors and he was kind enough to go to the location beforehand to scope out some options for photos if it were to rain. He was really easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. He respected that my husband and I were really laid back about taking photos and didn't want to have many "posed" photos and he worked with that. My friends and family all loved him the day of the wedding saying such positive things. He had our photos to us only about 3 short weeks after our wedding which was so quick. The photos turned out fantastic and he really captured every aspect of our day. We couldn't have selected a better photographer. I highly recommend working with Aaron, he will be flexible to your wants and needs, be very easy to communicate with and most importantly produce amazingly beautiful pictures. I can't wait to use him again for future projects.

Aaron was an incredible photographer. Both his end result - our wedding pictures - and his approach the day of the wedding were perfect.

He was sure to photograph all the details we cared about, and captured the mood and fun of our wedding perfectly. He was very non-intrusive, but still made sure we got the photos we wanted. For example, he kept the family photos moving quickly, but let folks have fun and fool around a bit too. His attitude was fantastic, and he was very easy to work with.

Aaron also helped us before the wedding by suggesting the types of photos he could take, and he gave us great ideas.

The end product he gave us was incredible. The photos feel very natural, and not staged, which was exactly what we asked him to do. The only downside of having Aaron as your photographer is that you'll have too many good photos, and you wont' be able to decide which to print!!!

Both my husband and I are photographers ourselves, so we were a bit picky about choosing our wedding photographer. On top of that, we both adore and and shoot film - which means we were searching for a certain "look" in terms of photography. I'd been following Aaron's work for years, and knew immediately that he was the photographer for us - his digital "feels" like film to me... and he even brought along film cameras to make extra photos for us! He is absolutely fantastic at "finding the light" and each photo session with him felt natural and low-key - like hanging out with a friend. In addition, he single-handedly managed to cover our wedding - from early morning to late evening, and we had somewhere around 150 guests! The guy is amazing. We highly recommend him!

Aaron is an all around amazing photographer! He is professional, reliable, fun and easy to work with, has a calm and comforting presence, goes with the flow, is flexible, takes incredible photographs and then gets them to you in a timely manner. We were so lucky to have him at our wedding and couldn't be happier with our photos!

When looking for a photographer for our engagement and wedding photos, I asked a friend who had gorgeous wedding photos and she sent me Aaron's info. We met him at a coffee shop and loved his fun personality and style of photography. Our engagement photos turned out beautifully and I couldn't be more happy with our wedding photos. Aaron has a knack for capturing the little moments and the emotion of the day, which is why we were drawn to him to begin with. The way he uses light is phenomenal. Also, our photos don't look "over edited" in the least, as wedding photos sometimes can. To be honest, I was hesitant to have only one photographer at first, but I am still amazed at the shots he got when we had no idea he was around! He captured everything we could have wanted. From start to finish, a great experience and beautiful photos. I recommend him highly!

Aaron was absolutely amazing! Throughout the entire planning process, Aaron was very responsive and really understood what we were looking for. The day of, he was laid-back, fun, and very calming. Aaron remained behind the scenes, to the point where we even forgot we were being photographed!

My husband and I are NOT photogenic, so we were a little worried our wedding photos were going to be a bust. But after receiving the photos, it was very clear that Aaron has a passion for what he does. Not only were the photos beautiful, but they managed to capture the very essence of our wedding. To this day (7 months later), we still have people commenting on how beautiful our wedding photos are. He even got our photos featured on the knot!

Seriously, eliminate one of the many wedding stresses, and book Aaron now! You won't regret it!

Looking at Aaron's website it's easy to see how great his work is. But I am so much more impressed now that I have seen the pictures he took of our wedding day. Of me and my husband saying our vows, of our family and friends, of all the details that we put together. The pictures we have of our day couldn't have been better or more beautiful. He captured the special moments and made us look amazing! He would be modest and say we looked amazing and he just captured it, but seriously, he made us look like awesome versions of ourselves.

Planning our wedding was stressful because we don't have a lot of money. We needed to stick to our budget, but everyone we talked to confirmed that photography is not the place to do that. I've muttered to myself and anyone who will listen many times, I am so glad that we were able to book Aaron and that we didn't try to cut corners with photography. Aaron's prices are great, and an even better value considering the amazing work he does.

Lastly and a seriously important part I didn't understand before getting married, Aaron is really fun to be around. He was invisible most of the time, like a ninja wearing a cute outfit. He had suggestions to give, but never overbearing. The experience was not like the past weddings I've been in, with the photographer sticking out and saying awkward things to get through the bridal party and family posed shots.

I can't recommend Aaron enough!

Um... Aaron is amazing. Book him now.

From start to finish he was incredibly responsive, flexible, enthusiastic and fun. I am not the most photogenic person and he did a fantastic job with both our engagement and wedding photos. He has a gift for making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, making you feel like a super special bride, and also just have a good time along the way. He even helped with some last minute logistical issues and was a calming factor on a very stressful wedding day!

My jaw dropped when we saw our photos. Not only made us look good, but really captured the spirit of the day and some wonderful, brief moments we would have otherwise forgotten about. He also brought a second photog to help who did a great job in her own right and also ran our photobooth, which was a HUGE hit at the wedding. Multiple guests approached me afterwards to say how much they liked our photographers.

We were so happy to have hired Aaron and I hope to find an excuse to work with him in the future!

Aaron is incredible.

He did our wedding photos and also happened to be at our engagement session. His photos are amazing, I couldn't have asked for more perfect portraits of our wedding. He captured every moment I was hoping for. He was laid back, yet so professional. I can't count all the compliments we recieved on our pictures. He really did an amazing job at capturing the majic of the day.

Aaron was my absolute FAVORITE part of the wedding. He was so laid back, kind, funny, flexible and everything in between. We were looking for vendors that were easy going like my husband and myself so that our big day would be more or less stress free and he fit that perfectly. He captured some amazing pictures without being right in your face. He got some shots of us when we had no idea he was right there. It is so hard for me to picck my favorite pictures because there are so many amazing ones. His photography speaks for itself, but Aaron, in person, is just as amazing :)

Beautiful, Amazing and Unique in Artistry

Aaron is upbeat with whimsy and oh so creative. His personality puts the highest strung bride and groom at ease to capture some absolutely gorgeous photography. He listened and managed to hit everything on my list of requests for photo sessions before, during, and after the wedding.

The BEST DECISION made regarding choice of vendors for the wedding.

Aaron is without a doubt the best photographer I could have hired for our wedding day! He is so king, genuine, professional, respectful, FUN... I could go on and on! We were so pleased with our decision to have Aaron represent us on our day. My family and friends loved him and continue to rave about him! I would (a have) recommended him to more family and friends. He offers such great quality in his work but gives you an experience, too! When we were shooting our engagement pictures, we couldn't help feeling like we were just hanging out with a friend! Aaron loves what he does and it shows in every picture. He's creative without being weird. Professional without being uptight. He did our engagement, wedding and family photos. They all came out perfectly. Artful, unique, interesting photos that make it very hard to choose which ones to print because they are all so good. We're going to continue to update our life events with Aaron from here on out. He makes you feel really relaxed and during our wedding he was so unobtrusive we hardly noticed him. He blends right in when he needs to and somehow gets these amazing close-up shots when you didn't even know he was in the room. Our friends liked our photos so much they decided to use him for their engagement and wedding photos too. He is super likable. Funny and smart. Good conversationalist. He really seems to care about getting to know you and understand what you want. He's also great with kids. My wife and I wish we had a single friend to hook him up with. He's just that good of a dude.
