Best dj ever

DJ Carey was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, he exceeded every expectation. The planning process was smooth and well-organized, and he took the time to understand our music preferences and the overall vibe we wanted for the day.
On the wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. The DJ kept the energy high, the dance floor packed, and the transitions between moments were flawless. He read the crowd perfectly and played the right songs at the right time, creating an incredible atmosphere all night long.
Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how amazing the music was. DJ Carey played a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly to any couple looking for a truly top-notch wedding DJ.

A Wonderful Experience

John and Carrie were such a delight to work with. John was so flexible when we talked with him and worked so hard to make our day really special. We are both Australian and so had a number of requests so that the music would be what we were hoping for and feel personal to us and our guests. John really took the time to talk with us and really understand what we wanted. I was having a tough time finding a DJ who would be open to so many personalization’s – a number of them were very strict on their own sets or wanting to ‘feel the vibe of the room’ to make decisions but John truly listened to us and our day would not have been the same without him. We also hired the photobooth through A2Z which Carrie took care of. All our guests had a fun and wonderful time and everything worked so seamlessly.

Great DJ company!

We used A2Z for our wedding day and we couldnt have asked for a better DJ! Steve took great care of us, from helping answer any questions we had, to keeping in frequent contact leading up to the big day and by far hyping up the crowd on the day! He was professional, easy to communicate with and simply a joy to work with! His music hyped up the party and got everyone on the dance floor! I highly recommend A2Z to anyone looking to have a great DJ and an unforgettable day!

The Perfect Wedding!

John was our DJ and it was absolutely perfect. I had talked to 3 different DJs and went with John because of his years of experience, passion, and competence. I needed someone who was capable and take-charge in order for me to relax and trust that everything would be taken care of. And he still surpassed our expectations! We had several people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to and the best music. People joked that they didn't even get to enjoy the open bar because they kept rushing back to the dance floor! John was very thorough with the timeline and kept us on track. He had excellent ideas and suggestions but always emphasized that it was our day and we should do what we want. There was not a single thing that went "wrong" - the whole day was like a dream and perfect. And the sparkler send-off was so fun! It was the perfect finale to the night. I cannot recommend him enough! Thank you John!!

Fantastic Experience

Outstanding Experience!

From start to finish, A2Z was outstanding! Working with John and Carrie leading up to our wedding was a breeze—their templates made planning so much easier. On the big day, John did an incredible job and created what we’ll always remember as the perfect soundtrack to our wedding. He has fantastic presence, catered to us as a couple, and made sure the music perfectly matched the vibe of the day. So many of our guests commented that John was hands down the best DJ they’ve ever experienced at a wedding, and we couldn’t agree more. He was personable, attentive, and truly made us feel cared for. We were initially on the fence about adding uplighting, but we’re so glad we did—it brought our space to life and made the dance floor atmosphere even more fun.

Fantastic DJ

After our initial interview, my husband and I knew we needed John to be our DJ. He has great energy, and he has a great knowledge of various types of music. All of our guests said they loved all the music, and the dance floor was never empty. From the ceremony to the reception, our music was top notch and made for one heck of a party. Special shoutout to John for being flexible on our big day. We never had to worry if the plan changed last minute. He took care of everything!

The best decision!

Steve’s dedication, support, and professionalism was unmatched! He was incredibly responsive and creative with us, especially since our we wanted our wedding to be the perfect blend of two different cultures. Boy, did Steve deliver! Perfect Evening

We couldn't recommend A2Z more highly. John and his team managed a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception without a hitch. He was extremely responsive in preparing our event, helping us curate music selection, and planning the evening's schedule. Day of, his setup was timely and professional, he kept the reception moving as planned, and he was adaptable as the evening went on. Most importantly throughout the night, he made sure that we were enjoying our wedding and not worrying about the details. A MUST for your VA/DC wedding!!

John and Carrie at A2Z were absolutely key to making our night unforgettable. They were so accommodating and kind from the very beginning. We decided to have John provide music for the ceremony, the cocktail hour, AND the reception, which was the best thing we could have ever done. John also provided ambient lighting for the whole evening. You WANT this team behind you on your special day. The music was completely customized to fit our personality, and John also acted as the MC for the evening. Such a positive and empowering tone was set for us. We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. I called John my "fairy god DJ!" He even piped in smoke for our first dance - the photos are of his offering "Dancing On a Cloud." It made a huge impact!

Incredible!

John Smithfield was the DJ for my daughter's wedding. He was familiar with the venue and offered excellent advice on lighting, playlists, and timelines. He set up in 3 locations - mics and music for the ceremony, a separate outdoor space for cocktail hour and then the reception. As an MC, he was enthusiastic and supportive to everyone who made speeches. He worked with the bride and groom to create the perfect playlist (literally EVERYONE was dancing) and he incorporated the guest's favorites as well. People are still commenting on how much fun they had. As a wedding coordinator, I've worked with dozens of DJs. John S is by far one of the most talented.

A2X Music Factory is the best!

My wife and I loved our experience with A2Z Music Factory! Upon meeting with John, we were blown away by how succinctly, thoroughly, and clearly he knew how to support our special day, not only for A/V and music needs, but to keep everything on track. The preparation documents helped us to think through how we wanted our wedding to be conducted and really prepared us well for the big day. Excellent all around!

A2Z did a great job handling the audio, lighting, DJ/MC, and photobooth for our wedding weekend. John and Carrie took good care of us, worked with us to decide what services we want, and put together a package covering all of our entertainment needs. A2Z was professional and handled all the day-of logistics smoothly without our oversight.

A2Z booked us with DJ Dutta for our reception, who was also 5/5 and kept the evening exciting as MC + DJ. He met with us a few times to hear what we wanted from the event, and helped us with figuring out the flow of the evening. He struck a really good balance between asking our input for things and using his own expertise and judgment, and I’d definitely recommend him for future events.

A2Z also organized A/V for my Baraat. They provided the car and audio equipment, and also contracted a dholi (Ram). Ram was incredible – his energy on the drums made the whole procession really lively, and he was great as a procession leader.

Literally the best

A2Z not only made sure we were the star of the show at our own wedding but also made sure the party kept going. The vibes and the energy they brought to our wedding ensured people were dancing the whole night at our wedding. The amount of accessories they had with up lights, CO2 guns, smoke machine, etc made our dreams come up for our first dance. We received a wonderful photo book of our Photo Booth photos which was a huge hit for all of our guests! Not only are they DJs but they’re just the best overall entertainment. Highly recommend booking them for your next event, whether it is your wedding, company party or any party!

Amazing and Special Experience

John from A2Z was very easy to work with and was very flexible. Not only is he a capable Master of Ceremonies but an excellent DJ. He was really good at reading the room and providing various types of music for all our different wedding guests and for us, the couple. We provided a list of music we wanted played at the wedding as well as a few key songs but we essentially let John work his magic with the music with the rest and it was so worth it. John had remembered a few details from our first meeting with him so we got some surprise songs we weren't expecting but thoroughly enjoyed. We also added on a lighting package for the reception space and it turned out beautifully! Finally, it ended up raining all day on our special day but John worked with our planner to help create such a stunning space for what ended up being our indoor ceremony. Small details like that really made our day so special despite the weather we had and because of this, I cannot recommend John and the A2Z team enough! I highly recommend them and if you hire them, you will not regret it!

The party never stopped

Wow. Who would've thought that a DJ could completely transform our entire day. From the perfect ceremony timing, to the up-lighting and effects in the ballroom, to surprising us with a fiberoptic send off, we were blown away. Working with John and his team was not only seamless but he made it his mission that my husband and I had the wedding we had always dreamed of. His team kept the dance floor going all night, reading the room and playing all the hits for all ages. Wedding Day!

John is AWESOME! If you don’t hire him to work your wedding you are seriously missing out! He is so friendly and professional and good at what he does. He had everything down, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to reception. He made the intimate moments special and then kept the party going all night, the vibe was perfect. More than a DJ - he does it all!

John did an absolutely incredible job for our wedding. He was super helpful during the planning process and remained detail-oriented, asking all of the right questions and providing suggestions when we didn't know exactly what we should be doing. He gave the best suggestions for songs (e.g., he decided "Hot for Teacher" would be a great intro song for my bridesmaid who is a teacher and was giving a speech; it made her laugh out loud and dissipate the nerves she was feeling). Everyone was dancing all night and said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. He went above and beyond in so many ways - in helping us secure rentals like draping, in asking us if we needed anything several times throughout the night, and in making sure we had a fantastic time. We feel very grateful we booked him for our big day and would highly recommend to everyone!

John knows what he is doing

I met John at a Wedding Expo and immediately wanted to hire A2Z for my wedding. As a typical bride does, I had a fear that I pulled the proverbial trigger too soon, but I did not. John was amazing. He took care of us throughout our entire day. Had music ready, told us what to expect from moment to moment, handled request like a champ, and also gave us water after walking up the aisle (we got married in August). I never felt like I wasn't listened to or heard and he answered every question and his detailed template made it so no moment was missed. 5/5 is just the tip of the iceberg. He went above and beyond for us and I am so appreciative.

Best DJ in NOVA! Truly a Magical Experience

Dj John and his team did an AMAZING job making our special day come to life. John worked with us every step of our planning process and was more than accommodating to all of our needs! The lighting was excellent and John helped us pick out a killer playlist so everyone would have something to dance to. John connected with our wedding coordinator and other vendors to make sure everyone had the same timeline so our day could flow smoothly. At the end of the night, John and his team expertly coordinated our sparkler exit. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the lighting, music, and sparkler exit were! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!

We loved having John from A2Z at our wedding!

From our first phone call, John made us feel comfortable and secure in our decisions. He helped build our timeline, gave song suggestions, and provided an easy template for us to plan out our song choices. He was available for multiple planning sessions, which was very reassuring! He also made sure we had his phone number so that we could contact him with any last minute questions or changes.

On our wedding day, John was an incredibly calming presence. He was extremely attentive during our formal dances, and was able to interpret my slightest nods to start/stop a song.
We scheduled our day so that all dancing would be after dinner, so that we wouldn’t need to stop the party for food or announcements. John read the vibes of the room perfectly, and kept the songs upbeat all night - I don’t think I left the dance floor once!

John is the epitome of professionalism - he has clearly had tons of experience at weddings and it showed in how smoothly our day went.
Our music was on point, the uplighting was beautiful, and our sparkler exit was a huge hit - our day was absolutely perfect.

I would absolutely recommend A2Z - John, thank you so much for playing such an important role in our day!

Interactive and fun

John was the best and so much fun!!! We have received countless compliments regarding the song selections from John. He helped our day go beyond smoothly. He had our ceremony set-up with wireless mics and music, music during cocktail hour, and music and lighting during our reception. John ensured our day went smoothly. Leading up to our event, he met with us multiple times to go over song selections for all the different moments of our big day. Best experience!

A2Z Music Factory was one of those vendors that I knew I had to have. John was the perfect Dj and kept the night running smoothly. I got several compliments on the day of the wedding and afterwards that the music was perfect. A2Z even hung up my neon sign that was a last minute add on above my sweetheart table. I didn’t even think that could be done on such short notice and they knocked it right out of the park. The draping and the music was perfect. Highly recommend A2Z because they made my wedding dreams come true.

Highly Recommend!

DJ John was fantastic from start to finish! He was friendly and easy to talk to, and understood our musical preferences from the get go. His suggestions for songs for the mother-son dance and the bride/groom's last dance were perfect.

John's flexibility was clear both with the postponement of our reception due to COVID, and setting up microphones and speakers for the ceremony and reception. He also downloaded recordings made by my church organist who was unavailable for the actual reception, as well as the karaoke track to a Broadway song for me to sing with my sister at the reception.

I was really impressed with the way DJ John took care of my husband and me throughout the day. He made sure we had water after taking pictures outside, and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I received many compliments about the music selections and the pacing of the reception as well. The songs that were chosen fit the personalities of my husband and me, as well as the crowd that was in attendance.

Our wedding was EPIC thanks to A2Z and John Howard!

Let me start by saying…now I know that great DJs actually exists!
I’ll explain a little. Throughout my life, pretty much every event I’ve ever attended to was kind of ruined by the DJ; and since I come from really bad experiences with terrible DJs, I was significantly worry about our wedding music especially the reception part. We’re an older couple, Latin and wanted great dancing music including some from the 80s and 90s. And WOW…the big, white, awesome John totally KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!
He gave us the most incredible, unforgettable, super FUN wedding! John is the master of the masters of DJs and truly knows how to read a crowd! The dance floor was always full. All our guests were raving about the music and continue to say that our wedding was a BLAST!
Furthermore, A2Z did an outstanding job with the DRAPING and LIGHTING…They made our ceremony room so beautiful with an intimate romantic vibe. During the cocktail hour they flip the room for our reception and I was brought in to see the room just before the guests were going to be brought in. I could not believe my eyes…I was in complete AWE and tears staring coming down. I don’t know how they do it, but A2Z had transformed the room into the most amazing, incredibly gorgeous place, it was MAGICAL and totally excided all our expectations by a lot!!
All their equipment is state-of-the-art, they definitely have the lates and greatest. The design of the draping was impeccable and just breath-taking! And the lighting WOW, the lighting was to die for. The up lighting was gorgeous, but the Pin Spot Lighting made everything look like a million dollars!!
Also, John is a wonderful team player and very respectful of his fellow vendors and venue staff. His only goal; to ensure an absolutely amazing and flowless event; and that is what he gave us!
John Howard and all A2Z personnel truly go above and beyond to deliver the most unbelievable experience with the cherry on the top! I’ll be recommending A2Z and John Howard forever 😊

A2Z Music Factory provided lighting, special effect, and event production design services for my reception in DC and they absolutely, 100%, hands-down made the event unforgettable!!! From the very beginning, John helped design, curate, and execute an experience for our guests they will never forget.

John’s team provided premium lighting solutions and indoor sparkler fireworks just to name a few. Their equipment is all professional grade, wireless, and LED based and things were configured to exactly to the specifications we requested. Their team showed up on-time, setup everything without a hitch, and were so polite. The indoor fireworks were really the talk of the entire event among our guests. John’s team had the sparklers set and triggered at exactly the right moments in our first dance and during the open dance floor that we got the most amazing pictures. Professional, reliable, and wonderful experience with A2Z!

DJ Monica & the AV tech were absolute pros and completely transformed the space with their lighting and music. Amazing people to work with

DJ1Life and A2Z were amazing to work with. From the uplighting, photobooth, and amazing playlist that DJ1Life put together, our wedding was everything we had imagined and more! They were even flexible when we had to move our wedding date due to the pandemic and even added some last minute uplighting to the periphery of the venue 2 weeks before the wedding date. First-Class Wedding DJ

There will never be enough positive things I could say about John from A2Z. From the moment we got in contact to the very end of our day, John went above and beyond. He was an amazing DJ- there is truly no competition. I am not the best at anything music related, so I wanted to comment on everything else John did. He sat through hour long phone calls prior to the event just to make sure the music was everything we wanted it to be. He checked in on us numerous times throughout the day to make sure we were taken care of. He even brought us our meals and drinks throughout the reception because he knew we didn't set aside time to eat or drink. None of these actions were required of John, yet he did them anyway. There is no doubt in my mind that John a big part of why our day ran so smoothly. Thank you, John!

Steve was flexible, energetic and easy to work with!

I initially booked A2Z because of the good reviews and the variety of services they provided. We were able to get a good package that included DJ for our ceremony and reception, speakers, uplighting and a sparkler exit. They offer even more than that too. What I didn't know when I initially booked them was who our DJ would be. Our DJ ended up being Steve Perez, and he was perfect for our wedding! Steve and I had a couple of calls before our wedding day and went through every detail of the wedding. He was immediately easy-going and open to ideas and songs that he hadn't heard before. He offered me advice and got to know our personal tastes to know which direction to go with the reception. I made some last minute changes during the week of the wedding and he accommodated them without question. During the ceremony, we had an unexpected event that changed the whole flow/timeline. Steve adapted quickly and well. Steve recommended and made changes, communicated well with the team, me, and my party, and took a lot of the burden off of me so I could enjoy the day. He was energetic throughout the reception and kept the dancing going! He checked in with us during the whole day to see if he could do anything for us - in addition to his DJing. Steve is an absolute gem and you definitely want him as part of your team. He worked hard and truly supported us on our big day. He was definitely one of my favorite vendors to work with.

Small Wedding Win

A2Z Music Factory made a small wedding feel open, fun, and accessible to those who were unable to attend. As the number of guests were restricted due to local regulations, John stepped up and provided numerous live-streaming options for us very late in the process. The result was that people who were unable to travel were able to watch the ceremony, which was truly important to us. Once the ceremony was over, John made every effort to make sure that we were comfortable throughout the wedding, going above and beyond what either of us could have expected. This continued throughout the reception and to the send-off. John’s friendliness, professionalism, and charisma helped make our wedding as stress free and special as possible.

After finding out they were one of our venue's preferred vendors, I was excited to see such glowing reviews on this site. I will recommend them to everyone I can that is looking for a DJ or lighting, or pretty much anything needed for an event. They have it all! Carrie was great with questions, leading up to our wedding, and our DJ Steve Perez was amazing. He had very helpful tips when we met with him before the big day, and his personality definitely worked well with us. It was important for us that our DJ was bilingual due to my husband's family being Hispanic, and it was so great that he was able to ensure that everyone knew what was going on the entire night. He was a pleasure to work with, and checked in with us before and during the evening to ensure that we were having the best time ever (and we were!). My highlight was when he came over with a drink for me during pictures, it was very much appreciated!

Micro wedding perfection!

We contacted A2Z 2 weeks before our wedding, as we were frantically replanning a small, covid friendly wedding after postponing our June 2020 wedding. They were so easy to work with and connected us with DJ Steve. DJ Steve was amazing! He got our vibe, played all our favorite music and really made our wedding feel like it was meant to happen the way it did! Dj Steve really made everything come together so perfectly! Great livestream vendor!

This team is Fantastic!!!

From the first conversation with had with John from A2Z, we knew this wedding was going to be exactly what we had hoped for in regards to the music! John is so knowledgeable and he truly puts an emphasis on the importance of it being the bride and groom's day to shine and pick music that they want to dance to on their wedding day. The ceremony music was gorgeous, and his team are truly chameleons in how they can transition between the ceremony and reception music. My husband was very particular about the vibe he wanted for the cocktail hour and the reception, and John completely nailed it! In all of our communications, John was extremely receptive, but also incredibly detailed in leading us through every minute of the wedding day to ensure we had every moment covered with the right music for the moments. When we were stuck, he was able to shoot ideas at us immediately on the spot to help fill the gaps. We also ended up using his team for our draping and lighting in the venue, which honestly just made the entire ambiance!! They completely brought my idea to life, and I cannot imagine a more beautiful ceremony and reception thanks to their hard work on pulling that altogether. My husband and I made that call fairly last minute, and John made sure it was perfect. Overall a 10/10. We loved working with this team and I will absolutely recommend them to everyone we know that is coming up on a wedding! Thank you John and A2Z!

Excellent emcee and DJ services!

We had a great experience working with A2Z Music Factory. We first met with the company owner, and because we were looking for a bilingual emcee and DJ he connected us with Steve Perez. When we met with Steve in person, he was super warm, very down to earth, and lively, and he carried that energy throughout our entire reception. He spoke both English and Spanish throughout the event so that my family from abroad could follow along with the entire event, and his enthusiasm was contagious, which made him a stellar emcee. He was also fabulous at getting – and keeping! - everyone on the dance floor, which is exactly what we hoped would happen. We’re so glad we worked with A2Z and Steve in particular, and we highly recommend them if you’re hoping that your wedding will become a great dance party!

Extraordinary DJ plus so many other services

A2Z Music Factory consists of an exceptional team and provides almost everything for your event literally from A to Z. We met John and Carrie at a bridal show and chose their DJ services for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We also added on a photo booth and sparkler exit as well as uplighting based on John’s recommendation (and we are so glad we did!). The planning pieces that we loved were the in-person meetings, the worksheet to select songs for major events (e.g. processional, first dance, cake cutting, final song, etc.) and the list of the top 200 songs to mark if you like or dislike, so John knows your preferences as well as which songs you absolutely do not want played. On the day of our wedding, John worked well with our day-of-coordinator to stick to our timeline and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. He was very accommodating when we wanted to add our college’s fight song after our final song. Another idea of John’s that we loved was the last dance for the couple only, so as all our guests were outside getting ready for the sparkler exit we enjoyed a song with just the two of us as husband and wife. If you are looking for an all-in-one extraordinary DJ, I would highly recommend A2Z Music Factory.

Look No Further!

A2Z Music Factory went above and beyond our expectations. We chose the gold package and added on the dancing on the clouds, sparkler entrance and the monogram. They did a superb job communicating with us throughout the wedding process and from the very beginning, they were so kind and attentive. The person who really brought it all together was our wonderful and magnificent DJ, DJ 1Life. He never had the dance floor empty, all the guests raved about the music, and he always kept such a great communication with my fiancé and I. From the very first meeting we had with him, he went over all the details and brought things to our attention that we didn’t even consider. Romantic lighting and decorations

The pipe and drape and lighting that they added to our ceremony made the room look like a fairy tale. We had to move our ceremony indoors last minute, and they did an incredible job getting pipe and drape up for the ceremony. Absolutely gorgeous!

Hiring John as our DJ from A2Z was easily one of the best decisions we made! He was amazing from start to finish. He truly cares about his couples and wants them to have the best day possible. Best party planners in NOVA

If you are looking for a one stop shop for party planning, go ahead and contact A2Z! Literally anything you can dream of they can make it come true! You want to dance on a cloud? They can do that. You want all the pretty colored lights in a room? They got you! You want the most beautiful draping with romantic twinkle lights? Yup they do that too!! When I went in for my meeting with John (who is literally the best MC and DJ out there! Were trying to come up with a reason to have another party just to be able to hire him again because hes so awesome!!) they were building a escort card wall for a couple where you go and get your luggage tag escort card and then push this button and someone hands you champagne! It was AMAZING!

Booking A2Z is a MUST!

WOW! Is all I can say when working with John and his business. He was absolutely incredible from the moment I met him at a wedding expo in DC until our big day. If I had a question or concern he was right there to answer or provide a solution. Super flexible if I needed more time to plan on my end and very patient if we needed help thinking out different scenarios. With a large wedding party we needed all the help we could get and he was right there to offer it. In addition to being responsive, helpful, and a constant resource during the planning phase he was also the reason my guests were exhausted from dancing for an entire week following the wedding. What more could you want from your DJ? Well I can think of one more thing not only were my guest having a blast it was clear that John was ecstatic to play for them making the atmosphere incredible. Whether it was classic hits from Frank Sinatra during cocktail hour or new hits from Lizzo he really hit a homerun. One more perk ( I know, I know but to do him justice I really have to sing his praises) his business offers perks such as a photo booth, pin spot lighting and spot lights to make your venue POP and really create a magical event! I went with classical warm lighting for my event but it made a world of a difference in the photographs and video. Thanks to John I had a fairytale wedding that I have always dreamed of and I couldn't be more thankful for all he has done for us.

Fantastic Entertainment Production Company

A2Z was extremely helpful throughout the process with many elements of our wedding. It was great to have DJ, lighting, dancefloor, dancefloor decal and pipe and drape all from one vendor. We chose a separate vendor for our photobooth but A2Z could have handled that as well.

Carrie was fantastic in helping us shape out the spacing for all of our tables and figure out how the dancefloor fits in with every other item in our event space. The lighting with the dancefloor turned out beautifully. We also added additional string lights for our rooftop terrace and A2Z was able to accommodate that the week of the wedding.

Monica was a fantastic DJ and extremely down-to-earth and helpful throughout our process. She was meticulous in getting to understand exactly what we wanted when we wanted, as we had very specific requests for different parts of the wedding. She transitioned the entire evening beautifully from the ceremony prelude, to the ceremony, cocktail hour, entrances and dancing during the reception. She was able to facilitate every obscure song request and everyone had a fantastic time!

The best!

I was introduced to John and Carrie/A2Z Music through my photographer. As soon as I met John, I felt at ease and knew that he would be a lot more than just a DJ.
His team truly went above and beyond to make our day the best ever. Before the party even started, John was there early helping to make sure the sound was perfect for my ceremony and then he moved on to completely transform the ballroom for the reception. He added the perfect amount of uplighting, showcasing our beautiful flowers and cake, he also surprised us with a white backdrop for our Kings Table.

While John was helping keeping the flow of the night, from introductions to the grand exit, Carrie helped manage the photo-booth which was a huge hit!!

We are beyond grateful for how much A2Z did for us and we highly recommend them to anyone who is planning their big day.

Fantastic!!

He did a wonderful job making sure the wedding music set the tone for the event and matched our personalities. When the catering company ran out of food for myself and my husband, he went out and made sure I got to eat at my wedding. He was the absolute best!!! Can’t say enough positive things about him!

Phenomenal

A2Z and John Howard are hands down phenomenal. John was great to work with during all of our planning meeting and even more so on our wedding day. He really listened to everything we wanted and our wedding vision and helped us make that a reality. He listened to what kind of music we wanted to play during different stages of the wedding (they did our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) and the kind of atmosphere we wanted at our reception and delivered on both accounts. We had an amazing party- people are still talking about how great of a time they had at our wedding and it’s 2 months later! We also used their uplights which helped set the party mood and the photo booth service and that was a blast as well! Our guests loved it and we had fun getting in there ourselves! John also suggested we play the newlywed game during our reception and we are so glad we did! It was hilarious and our guests loved it! Thank you John for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

DJ Brennan Sullivan is GREAT!

We hired DJ Brennan Sullivan after a recommendation from a coworker! After chatting with him on the phone, he made me feel super comfortable and he was affordable as well so we booked him!

I was not on the ball when it came to getting him the info he needed - I was SUPER late in getting our song selections to him - like we sent them just DAYS before the wedding - and he came through with EVERY SINGLE SONG we wanted (some were definitely not common requests) and played everything PERFECTLY.

He is SUCH a professional! From setting up all his equipment to making sure everyone's name was announced correctly and all of the song requests went off without a hitch - he is great!

Definitely book DJ Brennan!!

Amazing dj!

A2Z was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We went in to our planning meeting overwhelmed with the amount of music we had to pick and not knowing what would work best, as I’m sure most couples feel. John and Eddie helped us pick awesome music that fit with the vibe we were going for. John also helped the MOH feel less nervous when it was time to give her speech. We even got our up lighting and ceremony arch with A2Z! Basically, if you are shopping around for DJ’s, look no further. Book A2Z!!

Absolutely Magical

Working with A2Z for our wedding was truly one of the best decisions I have ever made. John took the time to truly
get to know myself and my husband to personalize our ceremony and reception for us. He was so easy to work with and went above-and-beyond
in all things executed. John and his team provided us with DJ services, draping, up-lighting, and John himself was like a coordinator
during the day-of (even standing by our table to make sure no one talked to us while we ate!). We decided on having draping and lit trees for
our ceremony to create a winter-wonderland feel (and giving us breath-taking photos), and then had them flip the room to create a romatic candle-lit reception. Everything was executed perfectly.
I knew the by selecting to work with John and his team, there would be nothing to worry about during our ceremony and reception. We were not disappointed.
Everyone who attended our wedding has expressed how absolutely magical everything was, and that the music and experience made it the best wedding they had ever been to.

We weren't going to do any type of special exit, but John suggested a sparkler exit, then proceeded to set it up, provide all of the materials, and even photographed our
sparkler exit for us, giving us absolutely breathtaking photos and memories.

To add to all of this, towards the end of the wedding I was not feeling well, and John called me the next day to see how I was feeling.
Truly I could not say enough to fully express how amazing the service and execution of everything was. John and his team are a one-stop-shop and
they truly made our dream wedding come true. I will recommend them again and again.

Do yourself a favor and contact A2Z!

I've known John and have been working with A2Z for years. In my past life I was the catering coordinator at Trump National Golf Club where he was our go-to in house deejay and our top vendor during my time there. He did everything for us then, up-lights, sound, staging, music... fast forward to 5 years later I knew there was only one person i'd have as my wedding deejay. I wouldn't book our venue until I knew John was available for our wedding date. You'd think I'd have the planning process nailed down since wedding planning was my background but I'll admit stepping into my first meeting with John I had no clue what I wanted except a non-stop party. He provided FOR me the timeline I had been procrastinating on creating. He thought of things I completely had forgotten about. The day of my wedding, I showed up to the venue and saw him and instantly had a huge smile on my face. Him and his team had been there for who knows how long already and had began setting up - I gave him a hug and finished getting ready knowing I was in good hands. For our wedding we had lawn games during cocktail hour (very popular), Photo Booth, up-lights, pin spot lights on our dessert table and a jam packed dance floor for hours on end. I've never had so many people tell me they loved the music and how they thought the party just didn't stop and that's exactly what we wanted. So when you're done reading this, do yourself a favor and contact A2Z - not only do I know them from a professional work partnership but I based my wedding date off of John, his wife Carrie and their teams availability. If you are uneasy about the planning process or need that extra comfort of having someone else there to keep you to your timeline A2Z is the way to go.

My winter wonderland vision came together flawlessly!

Carrie was so easy to work with!
I am so thankful I was recommended to A2Z!

To save a little money I was making my own centerpieces (versus using a ton of flowers), I needed to test out my vision and Carrie let me take home all these prefabricated branches to create my centerpiece!

They also created an entire album of everyone’s photo both photos! I’m in my early 30s and this is my second marriage, a lot of my girlfriends are already married or are about to walk down the aisle and none of them have ever experienced anyone who rents out a photo booth from a company and have that company create an album. It was done with so much thoughtfulness!

No one left the dance floor!

DJ Dan was outstanding. He was attentive and responsive throughout the wedding planning process and made our wedding day amazing. They have a great online resource to help you request songs and put all of the information in for your entrances and special first dances. I can honestly say that people were on the dance floor ALL night. He did a great job of selecting music choices to keep people up and having a great time the entire night. Dan even helped my sister incorporate some music into her MOH speech. I would highly recommend A2Z music factory.

Outstanding DJ

Dan was fantastic! We only had 80 people at my son's wedding and Dan had all of us out the dance floor the entire time. Dan arrived on time and played the entire time. The variety of songs was endless. He was so flexible and kept the event moving. If you are looking for a DJ for your event hire Dan, you won't go wrong.

Booking A2Z Music Factory was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! From start to finish, every single interaction with John, Carrie & their team was top-notch. Not only do they provide a DJ service that is simply the best in the business, but they also made the entire evening an unforgettable experience. I can't tell you how many times my guests told me, both on the dance floor and the weeks following, that we had the BEST DJ they had ever experienced at a wedding. Despite having a small wedding (only 80 guests), nearly every single person was dancing the entire night. The energy was perfect from start to finish, and we ended up with a fun sparkler exit orchestrated by A2Z Music Factory's team. It was the most magical way to end the day! We had John take care of the music for the ceremony and the reception, and we are so happy we did. Not only did he help us immensely while we picked songs for the day (it can be harder than you think!), he also gave us suggestions to make the day flow smoothly. We can't thank him enough for taking the time to listen to what we wanted in the day, advise us on what would work best and then execute it flawlessly. They also provide a list of other services in addition to being a DJ, and it makes the planning process so much easier! We ended up adding cantina lights over the dance floor, uplights and pin spots for the cake, and we loved how they added to the atmosphere of the evening. And I've worked with their team before and witnessed some of the other amazing production projects they've worked on, and it blows away any other team! They really know how to take an event and take it to the next level. The level of service on our actual wedding day was unparalleled. John & Carrie checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed & worked seamlessly with our vendors. No matter what you could possibly want for your wedding, John and his team will make it happen. And it will be even better than you imagine!

DJ Ricardo was fantastic! He coordinated our complicated ceremony perfectly, and was incredibly responsive in discussing all aspects prior to the event. John was amazing! We had two things that were very important to us 1)Food 2) MUSIC! After our initial meeting with A2Z we knew we had to look no further. Professional, funny, and knows the business IN and OUT. He doesn't just come in and DJ, he helps with the flow of the whole day, connects with other vendors etc. We were so happy with the flow of the night and how accommodating John was. DJ Brennan Sullivan was one of our best wedding investments. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, very helpful and organized throughout our planning process, and extremely responsive. He kept us entirely at ease about our music for our wedding reception, and went over every timeline detail. Brennan took the time before and during the reception to make sure he knew how to pronounce all of our names and he played every song we specifically requested. Brennan was great at reading the crowd, playing our guest requests, and keeping the evening flowing smoothly. I would highly recommend Brennan for your wedding reception, or any event needing a DJ. Not only is he a great DJ, he's a great person, very friendly, professional, and makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Brennan for our wedding reception entertainment!

We also rented uplighting for our wedding reception. The lights were great quality, affordable and gave a beautiful ambiance to our ballroom that enhanced our color scheme. Super pleased with everything!

John, Carrie and the rest of the staff at A2Z Music Factory are top-notch! When Sherry and I planned out our wedding, the music was a vital part of our celebration. The service A2Z Music Factory was way more than just our music. John's musical knowledge alone is one that can guide your musical tastes to any styling you desire. If he does not have what you are looking for, he will search down what you need. Additionally, he takes care of sound for the Wedding/event (if needed), the room lighting, presentation of ceremonies, and all extra care required to assist in your event being the best it can be. John ensured little things are there for you too. If you desire soundbites (personal or pre-fabbed), he will ensure they are mixed in and audible at any time. John is also attentive to taking care of his clientele during the event too. He will review the timeline of your wedding/reception and ensure that all items are accounted for, from speeches and toasts to dances and music lists and keep your day on track without worry from you. He also gives clients attention to things we may not even think about (i.e. ensuring the garter toss goes off to your own desires, you have liquid refreshment, your guests get time with you, etc.).

Carrie and her photo booth set-up are also a great addition to any celebration. We used this set up as a way to say thank you to our guests! Instead of moving around from table to table, we took pictures with our guests as we said thank you! This allowed us to get a personal memory with each guest as well as seeing what they did in photo strips without us! After all was said and done, Carrie took time to provide us with a very special scrap book, where guests wrote personal notes to us to go with their photo strips. Not only do they walk away with a momento, we also get a special piece of that day to keep!

We highly recommend the services of A2Z for your wedding or any other event you may want to hire them for!

Booking John as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. John made our planning process so much easier by walking us through each and every decision. During the wedding reception, John even made sure to check on us and offer us drinks or water. He is GREAT at what he does and makes all the difference. Our dance floor was always packed and I had multiple people reach out to us the next day to tell us how great John was, everyone was extremely impressed. John and Carrie also did our draping behind our sweetheart table (which was beautiful) and our sparkler exit. I can not recommend John enough, everything was perfect. Brennan Sullivan was our DJ for our wedding on 4/28/18, and we absolutely loved working with him!! He was extremely professional and had a lot of helpful suggestions leading up to the wedding. I did not have a wedding planner and was feeling rather overwhelmed trying to plan our wedding myself, and I was so grateful for Brennan's expertise on song selections, up-lighting for our venue, etc. He knew what he was talking about, had great suggestions, and I felt very comfortable following his advice. On the wedding day, Brennan was fantastic. We had guests of all ages and really wanted everyone up and dancing as much as possible, and he delivered! All of our friends and family were on the dance floor the entire time. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had dancing the whole night. We didn't have to give Brennan much guidance at all - we just gave him a few notes about our general likes/dislikes for music, and he took it from there. He is a true professional and extremely personable as well! We had only spoken on the phone and not met in person before the wedding day, so Brennan made a point to find us and introduce himself in person before the party got started, which we really appreciated. We also found the pricing to be very reasonable and a great value. DJ Brennan made our wedding reception so much fun for everyone - I have nothing negative to say, and I would recommend him to anyone!

DJ Dan was recommended to us by our coordinator and we couldn't have been happier with the service he provided. From our first conversation with Dan, we felt like we were in good hands. He understood what we were looking for, was happy to take direction, but also provided some really valuable feedback that only made the party better.

Throughout the process Dan was incredibly responsive and happy to answer questions. Most importantly, while we provided general guidance to Dan about what music/songs we wanted to hear via his easy to use web portal, he really read the crowd and picked a mix that kept the most people on the dance floor. I didn't sit down the whole night! Dan created exactly what we wanted - a fun party! We can't recommend him enough.

If you want the words “perfect” or “dream” next to your wedding, choose A2Z. It will be one of the best decisions you ever make. What stands out about A2Z is not only their talent and decades of experience in this industry, but the incredible passion and dedication that John and his crew have to customizing and going above and beyond to make sure every tiny little detail is perfect. They are so hard working and will go the extra mile to make sure you are having the best time of your life!

A2Z has a ton of wedding experience and they work with couples who know exactly what they want, or work with people like us who really didn’t know where to start. They invited us to their office in Sterling and walked us through ideas, helping us envision all the things, from games to lighting to décor, that they could offer to help make our wedding day unforgettable for us and our families and friends.

A2Z proved that they can do just about anything, and do it flawlessly. We had an Indian wedding ceremony and we were in absolute awe when we saw the final product of a breathtaking Mandap that their team built from scratch. For our Baraat, they provided mobile speakers for the procession. They did all the sound for the ceremony (outdoors) and the reception (indoors). The lighting they provided for the reception was gorgeous, and the spotlights helped turn people’s attention to the specific events taking place, whether it was entrances, dances, speeches, or the cake-cutting.

A2Z organized our reception grand entrances, and made sure our families and friends had a blast, whether they were into dancing, games, or photos! They set up and manned a photobooth, and even a pavilion with tons of games. They also coordinated a beautiful exit for us by organizing the guests to create a tunnel of sparklers and provided sandboxes for safe disposal.

We had no wedding planner and rehearsal, but everything was executed perfectly thanks to the A2Z crew.

John went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. He not only played the music we wanted, but he really knows how to transition people through the different parts of the wedding. His sound system and crew were excellent and I would recommend this company for any person getting married!

We met with John at the recommendation of our photographer and I am SO GLAD that we did. He was absolutely fantastic to work with and I can't recommend him enough. Throughout the planning process he listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions, and put together an AWESOME playlist for the event. Our dance floor was packed all night and I had several guests ask if they could get a copy of the playlist! John also offers and AWESOME package that includes a sendoff of your choice - the fiber optic wands were a great alternative to sparklers and were a fun takeaway for guests at the end of the night! He also handled our photobooth which was also a huge hit! Thank you for everything!

Carrie is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. We were so lucky to have found her and A2Z for our lighting needs. A2Z was unfortunately already booked for music services, but they really do provide great products and service in whatever they do. They handled all of our lighting needs perfectly, at a great price, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience with a wedding vendor. My wife and I booked A2Z for our wedding ceremony and reception and we just love them! John and his whole team were incredibly easy to work with and were very skilled at creating the experience we wanted.

We mostly interacted with John, and while my wife and I went into the event planning with some ideas, we also didn't know everything we wanted to do or how to do it. But A2Z has extensive experience with weddings, a wide variety of services, and a warehouse of equipment and accessories, so John showed us a wide variety of options and helped guide us through the planning process. They just seemed to have a knack for finding that right balance for creating a great event: figuring how much to plan, how to do it, when to offer their own ideas, and when to just go with whatever we wanted.

They also performed brilliantly at the event. The energy was positive and great and everything went very smoothly. They really just have a good intuition about what to do and coordinated well with us along with our wedding coordinator and even the guests. It was really a magical day for my wife and I and A2Z just seemed to make it happen so easily. If we were planning the wedding all over we would totally book them again!

A2Z Music Factory was a great choice for our wedding. We had DJ Romin selected for our ceremony and reception and he did a fabulous job walking us through the music selection and timeline for the event. We planned our wedding out-of-state, so he was very accommodating and worked with us via Facetime. Everything went smoothly under his watch. He even kept us calm when things started to get hectic during the event, which we really appreciate.

We had the best time celebrating A2Z as our DJ. We still have guests complimenting our DJ choice because he was able to fit all the events the groom and groomsmen wanted to do through the night as traditions they wanted to keep. He worked extremely well with the planner and the photographer to keep the night on time schedules despite getting behind with the toasts. We were also extremely surprised with the quality of the memory book Carrie put together in the following weeks from the Photo Booth. I had nothing to worry about especially with this being a one stop shop including lighting, Photo Booth and music. It made everything so easy to plan! Thank you john and carrie!

A2Z Music was on our short list of DJ's when we were searching for entertainment for our daughter's wedding, but after our Day of Coordinator recommended them and shared numerous examples of how John and his team go above and beyond, we were hooked.
Planning a wedding is overwhelming and John is a rock and someone you can lean on to help with planning the minute by minute details of how your day will unfold. His experience, expertise, enthusiasm, calmness, and smile helped reassure us that our daughter's wedding would turn out perfect--and it did :) John considered EVERY detail....the minute by minute choreographed song selections for the ceremony, cocktail hour, wedding party introduction music, first dances, dinner music, reception music, to the reception lighting to enhance the mood and progression of the evening, and the open-air photo booth with awesome props....John was in charge of the entire event....all the way to the sparkler send off at the end! John Howard is someone who is great at his craft and once you work with him, it becomes apparent how much he loves his job and he will work tirelessly to create a magical event unique to the bride and groom. Having had the pleasure of working with John and Carrie for our daughter's recent wedding (June 17) and our son's wedding last July 2, I can not recommend them highly enough! The service John provided MADE the reception! He knows how to make this most wonderful event even more memorable. John takes the time to get to know the bride and groom, helps them bring their vision forward and make the reception unique to the couple. Our son and his bride are a bit zany and the energy John brought reflected that. My daughter and her groom are very quiet and reserved and he was able to create a dignified and enjoyable reception. Lights, drawings, bubbles, sparklers, and by far the best motivating/entertaining Master of Ceremonies ever! Truly an EVENT planner!! And John is a genuinely nice man! Truly, we have nothing but high praise for A2Z Music Factory!

My son was married at Osprey’s in June 2017, it was a wonderful experience. My guests have all reached out and expressed how impressed they were with the venue and the entire experience. The view is priceless. Our DJ, John Howard (A2Z Music) was fantastic. He is very creative and made great suggestions for the reception. Our guests were so impressed! They laughed, they cried, they danced and had a wonderful time. You don’t need a wedding planner to keep everything in line if you have John! He is very passionate about his job and his wife Carrie is available if you need help or suggestions. John played a big part in giving my new daughter a Cinderella wedding she will never forget.
