Wonderful Officiant!

Peggy was the most incredible officiant we could ask for. From her professionalism, help with perfecting the ceremony script, and helping to guide our rehearsal. She was always very communicative and adaptable to our needs!

Perfect to a tee!

I cannot say enough good things about Peggy. From the first moment I spoke with her, I knew I had found our person. My now husband and I eloped to the World Golf Village, and didn’t have much of a plan. Peggy helped us craft the perfect ceremony. She was very professional, timely, and flexible. She allowed us to wait until the day before to finalize our plans. We were married in a gazebo on the property with a fountain and the golf course as our view. Everything flowed perfectly. Peggy even stayed for a few minutes and took some pictures for us and with us. The best thing about Peggy, though is her kindness and ease of manner. She made us both feel so comfortable, like we were there with an good friend. She absolutely was the BEST officiant we could have ever hoped for. ❤️

We are so happy we chose Peggy!!

We were supposed to have a family friend officiate our wedding, but due to an unexpected surgery we had to scramble and find an officiate ~ 1 month before our wedding. I quickly reached out to a few and was anxiously waiting for responses. Peggy called back within a couple hours of our request, and from the second we started talking, I knew she was the perfect fit!! She asked sincere questions about our relationship and what our vision was for our big day. We worked together to build our ceremony script and she was so easy to work with. Peggy was extremely professional and our rehearsal went amazing so I knew the wedding would be perfect. We highly recommend Peggy if you are looking for an amazing officiant for your wedding!!

Peggy is the Perfect Officiant for a Wedding!

My husband and I have very different spiritual beliefs and we wanted to incorporate both our backgrounds in our ceremony. Peggy did a great job of finding our middle ground and creating a ceremony that perfectly represented our vision and backgrounds. Her pricing is very reasonable and she was super responsive through the entire process. She offered suggestions when we needed them most and made our ceremony tasteful and classy. We would highly recommend Peggy if you're looking for a great officiant for your wedding.

It Just Felt Right - Say "Yes" to Peggy!

When I first got on the phone with Peggy for consultation, within 30 seconds, we just hit it off! I felt so open and comfortable with her immediately while making small talk - almost like I've known her over a decade - I knew she was the right person to wed Jaryd and I! Peggy is amazing!

Peggy was wonderful! She likes to meet with her couples and get to know them a bit so she can tailor the ceremony to the likeness of the couple. She sent us a script and let us add or remove anything we wanted. We really didnt have to change much at all since peggy provided a beautiful ceremony. I'm so glad we went with peggy, she made our ceremony just perfect for us. Thank you!

Peggy married my wife, Megan and I on January 18, 2019 at the White Room, St. Augustine. Her services from start to finish exceeded all of our expectations... (which speaks volumes given how high my wife’s expectations were for this event).

Peggy made herself available at any time to speak with us and answer any questions. She met us in person for brunch to get to know Megan and I, and took a genuine interest in us as individuals and a couple. Her attention to detail was reflected in the beautiful, custom ceremony. Every name was pronounced correctly. Additionally she was able to settle our nerves and professionally keep us centered and on track during the ceremony so photos came out perfect.

My wife and I give our highest recommendation for Peggy’s services. From the bottom of our hearts, there is nothing we would have changed.

In every way, Peggy is the ideal wedding officiant!

I cannot recommend Peggy highly enough. After speaking with her on the phone for 15 minutes, it felt like we were old friends. She is extremely kind, funny, and personable. She will do everything in her power to make your ceremony exactly what you want, and you can be totally honest with her about your needs. We didn't want to work too hard on customizing our ceremony, so she provided the framework and we were able to add little touches to personalize it. During the rehearsal and ceremony, she was the calming presence that we needed. I guarantee you won't find anyone better, and all our guests agreed!

My husband and I were planning our St. Augustine Wedding from Ohio and were extremely nervous about choosing our vendors over the internet. I had come across Peggy's webpage several times and finally decided to give her a call. WONDERFUL DECISION. From our initial conversation, Peggy was so personable and really wanted to get to know us and our hopes for the wedding. She walked through our ceremony with us to make sure that everything we wanted was included and nothing was included that the two of us didn't love. When the day of the ceremony arrived, Peggy was a very calming presence for the two of us. She performed the most beautiful wedding ceremony and exceeded all of our hopes and dreams. While she had only known us for a few months, it felt like she was a lifelong friend sharing the day with us. She really made our day special. Peggy was recommended on our venue's recommended vendor list. When I first got in contact with her, I instantly felt her warmth and friendliness. We talked for a while about our wedding day and what we wanted from her as our potential officiant. She detailed to us about her service and the flexibility she provided for all kinds of wedding ceremonies. I felt a connection, I hadn't had with most other officiants, especially when she mentioned her work with animals on the side (which I know isn't related to weddings, but just showed how caring she was). Also, her extensive background working with my venue helped me feel more at ease that I was getting someone who knew what to do and to expect the day of. I knew from that moment I wanted her to be our officiant. She worked timely around my husband and I's crazy weekly schedules to conference with us about the draft she created and was always so polite and wonderful to speak with. Finally when we met the day of the rehearsal, I still got the exact presence. The whole time she was very helpful and guiding in what would be done and said throughout the ceremony. She also offered to mail out our marriage license for us, which I thought was just an extra thoughtful touch, since most brides and grooms have a lot going on! On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly during the ceremony and it truly was perfect. My husband and I couldn't have been more thrilled to have chosen her as our officiant!

Words cannot begin to describe how absolutely wonderful Peggy was as our officiant. I knew from the first time we spoke on the phone that she was exactly what we were looking for in someone to lead our ceremony. In our first conversation, Peggy expressed being a dog lover and told me she was currently fostering 2 senior dogs who had recently been displaced from their home. Her caring nature and genuine approach are a true reflection of who she is. Many months before our wedding, my husband and I met Peggy so that she could ask us questions and get a feel for us as a couple. We were extremely comfortable meeting her, as her demeanor is relaxing and inviting. I was happy to learn she is a hugger, as am I, and she is very dedicated to understanding exactly what a couple’s wishes are for their ceremony. I must say Peggy is a highly intuitive woman, because after this one interaction, she developed the most beautiful ceremony blessing for us. When I first read it I was instantly moved to tears. Peggy is amazing she stayed in touch weeks before ceremony by email and phone. She chose a perfect location for us. We live out of state. We wanted to plan a wedding in Saint Augustine. Peggy was extremely helpful and Responded back promptly whenever we had questions. I would not have used anyone else. She was fantastic! We got the wedding we always dreamed of .

Peggy did a wonderful and beautiful job on our ceremony. After 25 years of marriage we wanted to renew our vows and after checking out several other officiant serves we selected Peggy. She was very quick to respond to any of our questions leading up to the day and put together a amazing ceremony in which we were able to review and add our own touches to prior to the day. We had a beautiful ceremony on the beach and Peggy was there ready to go even when it took us a little time to set up cameras and the arch. We do not think you find a better person to perform a ceremony.

Peggy is absolutely wonderful! After an initial consultation, she drafted beautiful wedding vows that were perfect and heartfelt - we loved them and did not need to change a thing! Peggy is professional, graceful and accommodating. She was willing to share part of her Easter day with us on the Schooner Freedom and was a GREAT SPORT with our April Fool's joke - our wedding rings falling off the side! We found our March 2018 wedding officiant, Peggy, through Wedding Wire and couldn't be more pleased. When we initially contacted Peggy, we were living in Atlanta and needed an officiant for our wedding in St. Augustine. Peggy was extremely easy to coordinate with long distance and we spoke a couple of times via phone before she met up with my fiance and I in St. Augustine to help us think through our vows and ceremony.

As there are a variety of religious viewpoints in our extended families, my fiance and I ultimately decided to have a non-denominational service because that is what we felt most comfortable with. Peggy respected our wishes and did not weave in any religious readings or message points, but still presented a heartfelt and beautiful ceremony -- that was really important to us.

My fiance and I really wanted our mothers included, so Peggy came up with the idea of incorporating them into the wedding via a sand ceremony. It was very touching, and we will keep our unity sand jar for all time! Peggy also sent us the ceremony draft in advance and allowed us to make edits (no changes!), and she showed up on time and was professional and gracious on our wedding. We couldn't ask for anything more, and we recommend Peggy without reservation.

Peggy saved our wedding! She is 100% dedicated to making the ceremony special for you. Her smile and demeanor are perfect for the occasion. She is well organized, on time and did our ceremony exactly as we requested! I was pressured by another officiant who was very ridged and also didn’t respond to my emails. Four days before our event she refused to say the introduction and vows that I had written and insisted on saying hers. In a panic, through weddingwire, I booked Peggy. She really saved the day ! Peggy was a joy to work with! I don't live in St. Augustine, so I went on a limp when I saw her great reviews and contacted her to officiate at our wedding. From the first phone call, I knew I made a great choice. She is incredibly nice, and works with you until you have the perfect ceremony prepared. Peggy was the perfect officiant for our small ceremony. She worked with us ahead of time to learn about who we are, and helped to create the verbal structure that matched. She was open to the private environment of a beach house and laughed with us when the environmental elements got a bit crazy. She was timely and flexible in her work. Most of all she held the beautiful sacred energy that made the actual marriage ceremony so special. Thank you Peggy!

Peggie was awesome!! We had originally booked an officiant and two weeks before the wedding we couldnt get in contact with them. I emailed Peggie and about an hour later she gave me a call and said she was available. She gave us peace of mind and immediately confirmed for our date. She saved us!! Through the whole process she stayed in contact with us and created an amazing ceremony. Even after the wedding she sent us a confirmation that she sent all the necessary paperwork in. We are so glad that we were able to find her and it worked out for the better!

Peggy did an amazing job! We had an outdoor wedding and someone forgot to give her the microphone but some of our guests sitting in the back said they could hear her with no problem. She also helped us out a lot during rehearsal giving us pointers and advice since none of us really had any idea what we were doing!

Peggy is an absolute delight. We contacted her with some what short notice. She quickly confirmed and immediately started working on our ceremony request. Once she pinpointed our wishes, she created the most perfect ceremony script suited for us. And we were blown away by how beautifully she performed it. We had a very private ceremony and Peggy was truly like another member of our family. It was everything we imagined and we couldn't ask for more. We highly recommend Peggy LaRoche to be your wedding officiant. From the start, she helped us create a personal, meaningful ceremony and was always quick to respond to questions. As out-of-towners, she was also flexible and met with us in person to get to know us and better tell our story - a step that was much appreciated. Peggy was the wedding officiant of our dreams! Her ceremony she made for us was specific to us and what is important to us in our marriage. She took the time to meet with us before the wedding. She wanted to know who we were, what values were important to us, and how we wanted the ceremony to feel. She crafted a beautfiful one-of-a-kind ceremony and allowed us to review and make any changes we wanted. Of course we had nothing to change. On the day of the wedding, Peggy did not rush through the ceremony which was very important to us. We had numerous guests tell us it was the most beautiful ceremony they've ever been to and some even said it reminded them what marriage is all about. Thank you Peggy!

An additional huge praise to Peggy as our wedding was cancelled by the vendor on October 8, 2016 due to Hurricane Matthew. Peggy was so flexible with us and never charged us any sort of fee to cancel/reschedule. With the high cost of weddings today, Peggy's flexibilty, understanding, and compassion was most appreciated.

I beleive without a doubt no one could have put a more beautiful ceremony together.

Peggy was the perfect choice for our wedding. She met with us face to face prior to the event so we could get to know each other and ensure it would be a good fit which of course it was. She was willing to work with us to include an individualized part of the ceremony and made sure everything ran smoothly. She attended the rehearsal and provided some great tips on how to make everything work. During the ceremony she provided the perfect prayer and sayings for our family and friends that had everyone in tears (in a good way). I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an affordable, professional, and personable officiant in the St. Augustine area.

I would highly recommend Peggy as your officiant. She is very professional and personalized our last minute service as if she had known us for a long time. She was very flexible on New Years Eve when we had to change our time to an hour later. The readings she chose for us could not have fit us better. LOVED Peggy! We worked off of our preferred vendor list and actually contacted someone else before Peggy. They never responded, email or by phone. This was the second marriage for both of us and Peggy did a wonderful job helping us put together our ceremony. We would definitely recommend Peggy for any wedding! We happened upon Peggy by chance and after our first phone call, I felt completely comfortable with her and knew she had listened to all our wants and needs for our last-minute elopement. She listened so well, in fact, that when she wrote special vows for my (now) husband and I - it felt like she had personally known our whole story. For your wedding we wanted something very small and quick. I found Peggy LaRoche, and we spoke a couple times, and then met. what i noticed about peggy that stuck out and i made me know she was the right officiant, was that she is very involved in the community. However, she also did not require us to have numerous meetings with her to get there which I greatly appreciated! The ceremony encompassed everything we wanted while keeping with a mostly romantic feel. We wanted to avoid a very ritualistic and heavily religious ceremony, so we were glad to find someone who could so accommodate our needs! Her ability to tune the ceremony to whatever your preference was wonderful. She was very easy to communicate with and was very professional. We did have one moment of panic when she called 45 minutes before the rehersal to let us know she wanted to sign the license, but she was very flexible and waited while we got ready and ran down. She was very kind and encouraging with everyone during the rehearsal and everything ran smoothly because of it. Whatever style of ceremony you are looking for, Peggy is the one to ask!

Peggy was phenomenal! She stepped in and took us through a very emotional ceremony. First of all we started very late and she was understanding through it all. My groom was very emotional and yet Peggy was there to reassure and support him through his vows and throughout the ceremony. The tone of her voice is just perfect for this role and every sentence and sentiment was delivered with such meaning and compassion. I truly do not regret choosing her to share this day with us, thank you Peggy for completing us!

Peggy LaRoche is very professional and kind. She made our wedding day one of the best days of our lives. She created a ceremony tailored just for us and made it special. We can’t say enough things about how wonderful of a ceremony Peggy performed for us. We immediately felt at ease with her, and it was so nice that she spent some time getting to know us. We had no clue how the flow of our ceremony should go so we gave Peggy a few do's and don’ts and she handled the rest! The ceremony was perfect! Peggy was an awesome officiant in every way. She worked to get to know us and then help us tailor the ceremony to our personalities. I had no idea what we had in mind before I met with her, but our ceremony ended up being perfectly suited to us. She even asked what to wear so that she match our plans. Peggy was a fantastic officiant for my wedding! From the moment I first contacted her to after saying our vows, we couldn't have asked for more from Peggy. When she says its a wedding your way, it definitely is. After having a conversation via phone (we were out of state), Peggy sent us a draft of our ceremony which we could then edit or add to. She had absolutely no problem with any of our edits (hence "the wedding your way"). For the rehearsal, Peggy was very much prepared which helped make the rehearsal go smoothly. And finally the ceremony. It couldn't have gone any better and Peggy was absolutely great. she was supportive and helped us every step of the way. I really can't state just how stress free Peggy made the whole ceremony process. We were lucky to have Peggy as our wedding officiant!

We interviewed several officiants but once we met with Peggy and got to know her warm and inviting personality, we knew she was the one! She is a true professional and guided us through the entire process, encouraging us to make the ceremony our own. She had great ideas and was extremely flexible with the changes we made to readings and overall flow.

The ceremony was beautiful and her gentile voice helped calm my nerves. It’s obvious that Peggy truly enjoys what she does and cares about the couples she's marrying. I highly recommend contacting her for officiant services.

Peggy was amazing! She helped us find the most beautiful spot on the beach for our ceremony and she was more than happy to include our dog as the ring bearer. It was a perfect day and Peggy made sure it was exactly what we wanted.

I could not say enough things about how wonderful of a ceremony Peggy performed for me. My husband & I immediately felt at ease with her, and it was so nice that she spent some time getting to know us in our initial meeting. Once we received the 1st draft of our ceremony, we really felt like she knew us. Peggy was very flexible, as I changed the format of the ceremony and even added glass breaking at the end of the ceremony. She went with the flow! I really appreciate how quickly she responded to all of my emails. When she had questions about the email, she called me immediately. The ceremony was just perfect! Peggy was a pleasure to work with. She was prompt to respond to any questions we had in preparing for the ceremony. Peggy provided great guidance for my husband and I who have little experience with weddings. I appreciated her suggestions and openess to modify the ceremony script. My husband and I are not religious and Peggy was able to orchestrate a beautiful ceremony that included so much of our personalities and interests. Peggy was a pleasure to have as our officiant. We live in New York and our wedding was in Florida, so I did not get to meet Peggy prior to selecting her to be our officiant. However, after the first five minutes of talking to her on the phone, I knew she was perfect. She made me laugh and feel as if we were already friends. I felt at ease, which is exactly how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. She is friendly and professional. She wrote our vows for us and they were exactly what we wanted. Guests from our wedding commented on how beautiful the vows were and wanted a copy of the ceremony. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
