Gorgeous calligraphy and easy to work with!

Great Job, Great Value

Joan was one of the easier, most responsive and accommodating vendors we worked with for my daughter's wedding. She offered guidance and suggestions when we needed it. We used the computer lettered services, which were beautiful and reasonably priced. My daughter chose a difficult font to work with. Joan did a fantastic job. Everything was beautiful.

Stunning Calligraphy and Pleasure to Work With!

Joan was such a pleasure to work with! I received the envelopes much sooner than the anticipated time and the calligraphy was absolutely stunning. Joan was very easy to communicate with and very responsive— even accommodating a last minute request. I cannot recommend her work enough!

Great experience!

My request to do calligraphy on artificial leaves to be used as seating cards seemed unusual. Joan didn’t let on at the time that she’d never done that before. They came out absolutely amazing! She was SO easy to work with. She answered questions in a quick, friendly manner and got everything completed well within the timeline needed. My guests will certainly be as impressed as I was with her job very well done! I highly recommend her and would use her again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Calligraphy

My invitations and place cards were beautiful. They added that special touch necessary for an exquisite 50th birthday party for my fiance. They were done very professionally and in a very timely manor. I would definitely use her again.

The best calligrapher around!

There are no words to describe Joan and Touch of Ink Calligraphy. We had the mailing envelopes hand written and the RSVP envelopes computer printed. At the last minute we even had her hand write the names of our bridal party on their gift bags. Everything was done in a within a few days and came out beautiful! We received so many compliments on our envelopes. Joan makes sure every step of the way was stress free. She responded right away to any request or question we had and was attentive to every detail. She is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend her services to any bride, they will not be disappointed!

Thrilled to find someone so talented!

I contacted A Touch of Ink from Wedding Wire recommendations and cannot be happier I used Joan for handwritten calligraphy for my daughters upcoming wedding and they turned out beautiful

I admired how thorough she was on matching the invite font and color and explaining in details the best way to send her the addresses which made my life easier

We are not done using A Touch of Ink yet. We will be using her for the escort/ place cards and my
Next daughter’s wedding. I can’t recommend her enough!

You won't regret it!

I used a Touch of Ink for my Bridal shower and our wedding. A Touch of Ink was extremely easy to work with. She was super friendly AND got things done in a timely fashion. Everyone thought the invitations and table escort cards were beautiful! I highly recommend her services!

I found Joan at Touch of Ink on Etsy and I couldn’t have asked for a more FABULOUS work product and impeccable customer service. First and foremost, the product is beautiful and we are BEYOND thrilled with how the registry cards look. My wedding is in 2 weeks and I was in a frenzy looking for someone who could do the cards in such a short timeline. Joan is QUICK - she responded right away (within hours of my initial inquiry) and we were in business a day later. She sent several samples as well as pictures of the cards as she was writing them so that I could catch mistakes as she worked. In the end, Joan did 150 registry cards in 2 days and in my hands a day after that.

She was beyond accommodating, and even added a few extra registry cards that I forgot to originally include (without charging extra). It was truly a pleasurable customer service experience, period.

I was a bit worried when I received the cards that quality would be compromised because she was so quick, but they were perfect. I highly recommend Joan!!!

I can't recommend Joan highly enough. Her work is beautiful, she is incredibly responsive, and she will make and mail samples of paper and styles. She was able to add our last few names the week of the wedding and got them right into the mail. For our wedding she did escort cards and placecards for 200 and they were so elegant. So glad we found her.

I'm so happy I stumbled across Joan as I was looking for a calligrapher for my wedding save the dates last minute. Joan could not be sweeter and more helpful! She answers very quickly, and is very knowledgeable about her craft. She has a ton of calligraphy offerings, font styles, and also does digitally printed calligraphy which was absolutely gorgeous looking and a great option for us in terms of quick turn around time!

I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a calligrapher in the NJ area to search no further!

Our envelopes came out absolutely perfect. We ended up getting our invitations from a small independent artist who used some unique fonts, but A Touch of Ink was able to find the font and match it perfectly, which made for an incredibly cohesive package! Joan is also incredibly responsive AND efficient. We had our envelopes in no time, and we were even able to add a few after the fact (we forgot the groom's parents -- WHOOPS). If you need a professional, efficient and flexible calligrapher -- look no further!!!

We love the printing that Joan did on our daughter's wedding invitations. The invitations were delivered late and Joan was able to get them printed so we could send them out in time. She gave us a lot of helpful advice and was very easy to work with.

Joan does beautiful work! She was able to replicate a font for our envelopes that our engraver had used for the invitations that was not in her regular inventory. She matched the font perfectly. She also gave us several options for style of address format and scale of font, which was important to me. She was extremely accommodating and was able to turn the job around quickly, even making last minute additions as needed. Her prices were very fair, and she was a pleasure to work with. If I have calligraphy needs in the future I will not need to look further. I recommend her without hesitation.

I am the mother of the bride and found Joan from A Touch of Ink Calligraphy is amazing to work with. Highly professional, responds very quickly, detailed oriented and a pure pleasure to work with. She is knowledgeable and very helpful in guiding the customer to making right decisions for their event. Joan is easy to work with and cares about making sure all is done correctly. Joan was an amazing woman to work with. She was very considerate of timelines, extremely open to ideas that my husband and I had as well as timely in answering any questions we had along the process.The work that she puts into each invitation was detail oriented and made each one special. Joan was an absolute pleasure to work with! She is very responsive, communicates extremely clearly and via email (not always the case in the wedding industry but so important for busy brides), thorough, detail oriented and takes pride in her work. She thought of questions and aspects of the design that I didn't even consider such as the font size for an address with 3 lines vs 4, such as the size of the envelope and the size of the stamp. Joan is absolutely phenomenal and I would recommend her to even the pickiest of customers.

Joan was such a pleasure to work with. She did a beautiful job on both my save the date and wedding calligraphy. Her attention to detail was impeccable. I used A Touch of Ink Calligraphy in January for my wedding invitations (wedding was this April) and Joan did an amazing job! She was always quick to respond and helpful in answering all of my questions. The prices were very fair and comparable to other vendors I emailed. I went with A Touch of Ink because of the quick replies and closeness to my home (I was able to pick the invites up when they were ready). The turnover rate for the invitations was very fast, I believe just under 2 weeks. The final product was absolutely beautiful, I'm still amazed that someone could hand write so neatly.

Her calligraphy work is absolutely beautiful! She was easy to get in contact with and very friendly. She even made a few suggestions at our first meeting, like using navy ink instead of black, to tie in our wedding colors and theme. Joan was absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and friendly and her calligraphy is beautiful. As soon as we got our samples from her, I knew we had to use her services. She has a quick turnaround time and is upfront with you about her schedule. Since we lived close by we were able to drop off and pick up our envelopes and save money on shipping them. Seeing our guest list written out in her beautiful handwriting was definitely one of the best parts of my wedding planning. They were just gorgeous and they will make our invitations! I can't say enough good things about A Touch of Ink!

Joan was the best vendor out of all that I used for my New York wedding. Working with her was like a breath of fresh air in otherwise warped and inefficient wedding industry. She went out of her way to make sure the process was smooth, was the only vendor who didn’t nickel and dime me (for example i needed an extra envelope sent to me after all my envelopes were mailed, and she simply didn’t charge me as it would have been more work to send a fee for 1 envelope -- while every other vendor in the wedding industry would have found a way to charge me 2x for that.. think invitation printing). Her work was amazing - Joan sent me 10 samples of envelope lettering for me to pick the font i liked the most - again went out of her way to make sure i was happy. I will make sure to recommend her to all my friends.

We had Joan calligraphy our envelopes for our wedding invitations and they came out beautifully. They were dark blue envelopes and we wanted silver ink. The envelopes we used were particularly hard to ink but she did a wonderful job. All of my guests raved about how gorgeous the calligraphy was and was amazed that someone could do that all by hand. Choosing to have the envelopes addressed this way as opposed to having them printed or using labels really put the perfect finishing touch on our invitations and in my opinion is much more classy and elegant. I highly recommend this vendor.

Joan has an extraordinary talent and I highly recommend her calligraphy services. We wanted professional, formal, traditional calligraphy for our wedding invitations (both inner and outer envelopes) and of all the calligraphers available in the NJ/NY/CT area, we chose Joan for her consistency in quality (no pencil lines, keeps a nice clean line, is consistent from card to card) and her great value. Her talents are much better than those of people on etsy.com, which we looked to originally for a calligrapher. Etsy.com calligraphers were either too expensive for the quality or novice calligraphers who were just starting out. Go to Joan, and the quality of the invitations and wedding will show through her work.

Joan is fantastic. I initially contacted her through e-mail inquiring about prices and turn-around time and she e-mailed me back immediately answering my questions (her prices were so reasonable- especially being a bride in NJ- I was seeing prices like $6 per envelope!) and offering to send samples of her work in the color ink (gold) I would like. I received these samples a few days later and they were all beautiful. The process was so easy too. I sent her my envelopes and my guest list and I received them back within 2 weeks. Getting the envelopes calligraphied was definitely the easiest part of my whole wedding planning! I would absolutely use Joan again and again if I ever need calligraphy.

Working with Joan at A Touch of Ink Calligraphy has been so great. I emailed her from her website after seeing her examples and she got in touch with me in a very timely manner. I wanted her to address my wedding invitations envelopes and she sent me samples, which were beautiful. I also asked her to create a "flourish" on the envelopes, which she did beautifully and looked just like the flourish on our invitation.

Joan produced the envelopes in the time that she said she was, and was able to also make some corrections on some invitations, which was great. Every time I emailed her, she emailed me back quickly. In addition, she also gave me advice on how to address my invitations, which was very helpful.

It has been so easy and an absolute delight working with Joan. She is professional, timely, and makes herself available for questions. And her work is clean, beautiful, and has great attention to detail. It all worked out so well that I plan on having her do my escort cards as well.

Joan provided beautifully addressed envelopes for the invitations in a timely manner. The paper for the envelopes was difficult to work with which we did not know when we ordered the invitations but she made it work. She also spotted so us a misspelling on the invitation that we had missed and were able to correct. She is also doing our place cards in a unique way that I had never seen and was thrilled when she described the procress. It allows me to make last minute changes to place settings and tables if there are cancellations. All in all, she made a last minute headache minimal. I would recommend her to anyone.

Last minute calligraphy was needed for my Bridal Shower invitations and I happened to stumble upon A Touch of Ink Calligraphy on the Internet. I immediately called them up and spoke to Joan, who explained to me the different options. She then provided professional samples via e-mail. Working with Joan was very easy and she was very responsive. The calligraphy came out beautiful and my guests raved about it. I really appreciated Joan's flexibility as several envelopes needed calligraphy at the last minute. I had the opportunity to work with her for computer calligraphy (for addressing our invitations) and then saw and fell in love with her remarkable hand calligraphy.
