Incredible Wedding Photographer!
We knew that we needed Nadege Barnes as our wedding photographer. She photographed both of my sister’s weddings, and the photos were incredible. We did an engagement session at the LA Arboretum and our wedding in Chino Hills. She even did an additional session in San Francisco since she felt we didn’t get enough photos of the two of us on our wedding day. Her quality of work is the best, and we still receive many compliments from our wedding guests for our wedding photos and guestbook. She demonstrates her skill through her attention to detail and flair for her sessions. We highly recommend her to anyone for fantastic photos! -

There is no possible way for me to describe the excellence of my experience with Nadege and Doug. From the engagement session to the custom book she made... and then the day of the wedding!!! Now I am looking at my photos and CRYING because these photos are better than I ever could have imagined.
Hire them - do not hesitate. They will direct you for your best angles and get shots you could never imagine or see on any Pinterest board. -

My husband and I got married 2.16.19 at Mission Inn in Riverside, CA. We found FRP at the wedding showcase at the venue. I immediately fell in love with her gorgeous photos. Once I seen the prices I knew I wanted to have a consultation and book them.
As the wedding approached she sent me so many emails reminding me about so many little things we brides can forget. I was so thankful. The day came and things went pretty smooth. Even for being a little behind. Once we got the email of all the pics we couldn’t believe it. I never imagined anything like them. We are so happy we chose French Romance Photography. -

By sheer luck, I found Nadege on Instagram through a hashtag. A gorgeous sunbeam caught my eye and I knew who ever took that picture, had to be my wedding photographer. I knew I wanted bold, dramatic pictures and she definitely delivered. She is amazing! -

Seemingly everywhere, Nadege used perspective and light to capture the natural beauty of an outdoor wedding set in a lovely garden and Mediterranean styled courtyard. The day was bathed in the Southern California sunlight and she used it for full effect. Nadege loves her job and it shows!
She enjoys playing with the fabric of the wedding veil and dress. The tulle on my daughter’s dress was a favorite. She lets it fall and flutter to the ground while capturing the motion. Beautiful effect!
The engagement photos were stunning as well. She has an eye for architectural details and colors and uses them to her advantage to create the interesting backdrops. She made the process fun and easy going for the couple.
As part of the package, Nadege creates a gorgeous photo -filled guest book for everyone to sign on the wedding day. It’s filled with the beautiful engagement photos. I have never seen anything like it and it is quite a keepsake!
A professional through and through, Nadege worked tirelessly during the engagement sessions and wedding to create loving memories of the wonderful occasions. She has a keen visual sense and creates fascinating, stunning photos. We are thrilled with her and the end results! -

We were very happy with the engagement photo shoot and resulting guest book that came of the pictures. Nadege is a perfectionist and you can see it through her work. She has just the right touch to get people in the right poses and doing the right thing without being overbearing. Her and her husband make a great team. The album she put together was beautiful. Nadege was professional, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what she was doing. She answered any questions my now husband and I had. From the moment we hired her and even until this day, we keep in contact and are so happy we found them. Nadege shot our engagement photos and our wedding. Both albums came out absolutely beautiful. She doesn't take short cuts, and puts her time and love into what she does. We would recommend her to anyone who wants a photographer who knows what she's doing, and that does a damn good job at doing it. -

Last year I was freaking out because we cut ties with the initial photographer I had chosen he was too demanding and was charging for every little thing. At a Bridal show in Ontario, I met Nadege Barnes husband as soon as he started showing me albums of her work I was intrigued, and the fact that I found out Nadege loves Disney was a plus, my wedding theme was Beauty and the Beast. As soon as we met and the image that she had for our pictures was exactly what we were looking for. Our engagement session was at Disneyland, and I can’t even explain how amazing those pictures came out I was living my fairy tale. Nadege new exactly where to go, and guide us through everything she was nothing but amazing. The day of our wedding she was there on time, and she started working right away Nadege took the most beautiful pictures at the hotel, at the Church, and the Walt Disney Concert hall. We are so in love with our album words can’t even describe how beautiful and perfect it is. All I can say is that our them Beauty and the beast is all over our album from the moment you open it all the way to the end. I couldn't have asked for anything else so amazing so beautiful and just professional. I highly recommend Nadege she pictures everything just by telling her what you are looking for she took care of us and I have no regrets she’s an amazing photographer and a great person, and you will fall in love with her work. Thank you, Nadege!!!! -

Excellent photos, high quality and she thought outside of the box with how she shot the photos.
Great Photos, photographer moves fast and take lots of pictures. I liked the fact that I was able to find someone who would give me the digital photos. Great price. -

I want to give a fair assessment, so I’ll start with the good. Nadege takes good pictures, she definitely has a good eye for lighting, and has some good artistic ideas. However, she’s not reliable at all. If you do not want to have to worry about your photographer on the day of your wedding, I would suggest not hiring this particular photographer.
Nadege Barnes messed up on her dates, and came late to our wedding! She was supposed to be at the bridal suite at around 2 pm. she made me change the time at which my hair stylist would arrive to noon, so Nadege would have more time to take pictures of both me and the groom. I thought it was odd that she had not arrived by 3pm to take pictures of me getting ready and assumed she was at the groom’s suite. I texted my groom to see if this was the case, and he told me she was not there. I called her and that’s when she realized she had messed up on the dates, which I do not understand how she did this since in every single one of our emails and our contract, the right date was addressed. She started making up excuses over the phone and even insinuated that I gave her the wrong date (which of course I didn’t). I told her she needed to hurry and start driving to the venue. Needless to say, I have no pictures of us getting ready nor of our wedding party from her.
You may think, “well, every one makes mistakes.” I’m a very forgiving person and would have let this pass if it was not for the fact that she also stood us up on our engagement photoshoot! People kept telling me that I should look for another photographer after she pulled this stunt, but I thought I would give her a second chance which was completely undeserved, and I regret not having hired a different photographer for our wedding.
Also, she wanted to catch up on her photos during our reception, so she took time away from us enjoying our party, so she could take pictures of us “getting ready” after the fact. She did not do a great job at this since she did not realize that in all the pictures that she took of the groom, he was wearing his wedding ring. In addition, she did not take any close up pictures of us which is disappointing to say the least. Also disappointing is the fact that I had told her that my two dogs were going to be part of the wedding (ring bearer and flower boy) and she knew how important it was for me to have pictures of them. She did not take any pictures of my dogs, or just my dogs with the two of us, or just me and the dogs as that was the reason I kept them with me when I was getting ready.
Nadege also took a lot longer than most photographers to give us our album and pictures. I kept having to contact her to get updates as she would never contact me. She also never mention anything about us getting a refund for not fulfilling her contract at the wedding. She was contracted to be at the wedding for 8 hours (2pm-10pm) and even though she was late, she left early too. She left at 9pm and didn’t even stay for our last dance. You would think that she would stay longer for some pictures after she arrived late, but she instead left early. When my husband went to pick up the album, my husband brought up the idea of us getting some kind of refund. She agreed, and my husband told her to communicate with me about the refund details and also to apologize to me since I felt hurt about the whole situation. She never contacted me. Not only that, the album that we order was supposed to have golden rose page borders and the one we got had silver ones.
Since I was not getting contacted about our refund, we ended up contacting her. We agreed to an amount, but then she wanted me to sign a contract saying that I would not seek legal action against her company or write a bad review. I replied to her that I was not looking to seek legal action and that I would not sign any non-disclosure agreement, and after she realized that these are illegal in California, she backed off from having us sign anything and decided to just give us a refund.
Dealing with her has taken a lot of time and grief. I would not want anyone who is getting married to have to deal with what I had to deal with because of her. She is completely unreliable and unprofessional. Trust me when I tell you that you are better off having other photographer at your wedding.
