  Simply Amazing

  Leigh is amazing from top to bottom. Her explanation of the cake portions and the cake tasting itself was incredible. I chose Red Velvet and White Cake with Cookie Butter, Mocha and Vanilla Buttercream. The flavors mesh so well. The sweet to the savory of BBQ served for dinner. Her creativity is incredible. So thankful for your artistry.

  We absolutely recommend Leigh & A Sweet Life! From our delicious cake tasting to the wedding day, she was very responsive & went above and beyond. She captured our vision in the most delicious way & even came back to help us properly cut the cake. A few of our guests made a point of telling us how much they enjoyed the cake. 10/10 recommend!

  Fantastic!

  I discovered Leigh through a friend's wedding who had hired her to create their cake. The cake tasting was amazing and she went over a lot of details on how the process would work and discussed with me on what I wanted for the final look. The cake turned out exactly how we imagined and tasted amazing as expected. Pricing was reasonable and within my budget.

  Knotting Hill Place Wedding

  One of the best decisions we could have made. Leigh was a joy to work with from start to finish! The private tasting takes place in her beautiful home, and she has so many wonderful flavors, it was hard to pick! She was always available and responded quickly when we had any questions, and was very communicative leading up in the last few weeks before the wedding. The cake and it was absolutely stunning and delicious; we are counting down until we can pull our anniversary cake out of the freezer and enjoy it all over again! Thank you so so so much!!!!

  Looks Amazing Tastes Amazing

  Leigh was absolutely amazing! We had a Star Wars/Harry Potter Wedding and she balanced fun and classy perfectly. Not only did it look beautiful it was incredibly tasty. She even helped me plan a special surprise for my husband. So happy!

  Leigh was amazing!!! She made a beautiful and delicate wedding cake and also made a special order wheaten doggy cake which was unbelievable!! It was a work of art, and made the bride cry when she saw it!! I will be forever grateful that I discovered A Sweet Life!!

  Leigh makes the most beautiful and delicious cakes on earth! We had three different cakes for our wedding and they were EVERYTHING my husband and I ever dreamed of. From our tasting appointment to the wedding day, Leigh was nothing but AMAZING! Our tasting appointment was only supposed to last an hour and we ended up spending 3 hours tasting her yummy cakes and just talking with her. We definitely felt like we had known her for years even though we had just met.
  
  Leigh is so talented, kind, funny, down-to-earth and professional. She was always very responsive, helpful and accommodating during the whole process. Most importantly, her cakes taste and look incredible! Our favorite was her "Sour Cream French Vanilla Cake with Framboise Meringue Buttercream & French Meringue Buttercream".   My aunt recommended Leigh when I started looking for a baker for our wedding cake. She gets all of her birthday cakes from Leigh and was raving about her espresso chocolate cake. I emailed Leigh and she was very fast to respond and wanted to meet us right away for a cake tasting.
  
  Our cake tasting was AMAZING. Leigh made our cake tasting super accommodating and took out a lot of time out of her day to talk to us. We tried 3-4 different cakes with 3 different frosting options and then talked about what we wanted our cake to look like. We ended up choosing two different cakes (Leigh's cakes are 5 layers high with 3 fillings):
  1. Greek yogurt cake with 2 layers of raspberry filling and 1 layer of pistachio filling in between the cake layers.
  2. Espresso chocolate cake with 2 layers of chocolate ganache filling and 1 layer of pistachio filling in between the cake layers.
  
  At our cake tasting, we talked about what we would like our cake to look like and I was panicking in the inside because I actually hadn't thought hard about that. I then went home and emailed Leigh 3-4 times changing the cake and every single time she said yes. I even added a groom's cake. In the end, I sketched out a picture of our cakes and I was super surprised of how well it came out.
  
  Our cakes was a hit at our wedding! So many people were taking pictures of the groom's cake and wedding cake. Leigh made the cake come to life and it looked better than I could ever imagine. Her work on the hand-carved flowers is amazing and her watercolor flowers on the cake was even more incredible. My husband and I thought the flowers on the cake were real and that our florist may have slipped some flowers to Leigh.
  
  I am so happy that Leigh made our cakes. I cannot thank her enough.

  A Sweet Life made every bit of working with time a special experience. From a custom welcome board for our first meeting and tasting to updates and sketches up to the wedding. The final product was absolutely stunning! I would absolutely recommend them!!!

It was so hard to choose just one flavor! The cakes she made for our wedding were stunning! We had a barely naked cake and a grooms cake with a game of thrones theme! She made the coolest iron throne and dragon! And the flavor was amazing.
  We cannot wait to get a cake from her again!

  The cake was amazing. At the cake tasting we immediately wanted her based on her personality and passion about doing cakes! And the samples were to die for. Mmm. We even explained how we were doing a geek wedding and she was on board 100%. It was so great working with her, she made it a breeze and the cake was beautiful (naked cake) and delicious!

  As you know, planning a wedding is complicated, and adding the bride living in another state, even more so. I found Leigh on another website, and she was amazing from start to finish. The first meeting/presentation was so professional and warm and delivery of the final beautiful cake was flawless! Everyone raved about the cake! I took her business cards to my place of work, which was a bridal salon in Garland, and my future brides were so happy with their cake as well. Easy to work with - great communications - value for your money - amazing!

  Most amazing and delicious cakes EVER

  Our cakes were not only beautiful but so delicious!!! Our grooms chocolate cake completely gone!!! Leigh was so awesome during our cake tasting and super patient! I didn’t have a cake vision of my own but she was able to capture exactly what I didn’t even know I wanted! We loved them both!
