Steve did an amazing job!
Steve did an awesome job at our wedding! He was very easy to work with and would communicate with us periodically throughout the night to make sure everything was going the way we wanted and if there was anything we wanted to change or add. He kept people on the dance floor the whole night! I highly recommend him! -

Working with Steve Bender was a great experience!!
We are so happy we chose Steve Bender as our wedding DJ! From start to finish, he made the entire process easy and stress-free. Steve was incredibly easy to work with—laid back, professional, and so accommodating, even with our last-minute changes. He incorporated every song and request we had and kept the night flowing perfectly.
The customer portal was such a great touch—it gave us song recommendations, let us create playlists for different parts of the day, and made organizing the timeline so simple. Steve also offered helpful suggestions for music and the order of events and worked seamlessly with our other vendors.
He had a great speaking voice, a warm presence, and was kind to us, our family, and every guest. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ, and we’ll absolutely be recommending him to friends and family! -

Great experience!
Steve Bender was a pleasure to work with even when we were being difficult in how much control we wanted to have over the music. He was willing to work with us and explain the process and gave us three separate phone conversations or zoom meetings to help us understand. With our particularity about certain music selections and timings, Steve opted to DJ the wedding himself and we were not disappointed. We did not have to worry when we stepped out to take photos, and the ceremony went off without a hitch. We highly recommend Steve Bender entertainment for any DJ or MC occasions. -

Wedding with Steve Bender
Working with Steve Bender as our DJ for our wedding was an awesome experience! We felt that Steve did a great job answering our questions leading up to the wedding and took the time to understand exactly what we wanted our wedding day to be like.
During our event he checked in with us multiple times to ensure the music was what we wanted. He truly elevated our wedding day and we are very thankful to have worked with him! -

We would highly recommend Steve Bender Entertainment. The communication was great and we loved the easy to use song selector. Our DJ did an amazing job keeping the party going, playing everything we wanted, and playing every dedication we asked for. These folks are great! -

Above and Beyond!
Steve was incredible to work with and went above and beyond for our wedding(s). Unfortunately, we had to postpone our first wedding reception. Steve was generous enough to offer to return for our out of state make-up reception free of charge. He was fantastic from start to finish at both events. We’re so glad we chose to work with Steve and will absolutely do so again if we need a DJ in the future! -

Amazing Job
We absolutely loved having this company do our music for our wedding ceremony and reception. Loved the photo booth option as well. It was very sweet getting the scrapbook of all of the pictures from the booth and all the sweet things our guest wrote on it -

Hire him immediately
We just had our wedding last night and I couldn’t wait to write this review about Steve! What an incredible night and amazing DJ. The planning process was so easy and working with him was so effortless and fun. His website was very user friendly and easy to use and Steve was great to work with from planning the music that I’d go down the aisle to what music played during dinner and throughout the night. I had so many people tell me they’d never seen that many people dance at a wedding before and I know it was because of all the great music Steve played. He took requests, played the songs we loved, didn’t play the stuff we hated and kept the vibes up all night. But the absolute best part was the very last song of the night. Steve organized for all of our remaining guests to get into a circle around us and sway while we danced to piano man in the middle. As huge Billy Joel fans that was such a fun moment and such a special memory we get to have! Thank you so much Steve for everything and anyone reading this review - hire him for your next event!! -

Great time!
He was great! Read the room well and made some changes to our plan during the wedding to accommodate how the wedding was going. Played great music and made for a great evening, would book again for sure! -

Best DJ, highly recommend!
We used Steve Bender and he was the best DJ! He played music that got people dancing and we all loved his energy. He was easy to work with, always responded to emails, he made the whole process flawless. I highly recommend his to all bride and grooms! -

Dance floor was never empty
We had Danny Earls as our DJ and he was great to work with. He helped keep the night on schedule and was open to all of our requests. He did a great job keeping people up and on the dance floor. -

Absolutely the Best!
We used Steve Bender entertainment for our reception. I talked to Steve a few times before our wedding he was so helpful and informative. Christian was our DJ and he is Amazing!! We all had such a great time!! Christian was on top of everything, from the conversation before the wedding to once we arrived at the reception. I gave him some songs I wanted to hear and he chose the rest! He got my vibe and nailed it! -

Flexible and Fun!
Our DJ was Michael through SB entertainment. He was so fun and kept everyone on the dance floor moving all night! Everything from the ceremony music, reception music and everything in between was phenomenal. It fit the mood perfectly!! -

Our DJ (Matt Fry) did a fantastic job making sure that everything went smoothly and that everyone had a super fun time at our wedding! Keeps you dancing all night!
Do yourself a favor and hire this DJ! We have Steve as our DJ and he was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was dancing the whole night, even with our intimate wedding of 40. We were so scared people wouldn’t dance because it was so small, but our dance floor was never empty! He kept us running to schedule and was all around a joy to work with! -

Best in the business!
From the second we met Steve we knew we were going to book, he was funny, kind, and knowledgeable. We had our wedding on a Sunday morning, not exactly the most popular time, but Steve never complained, he came to the event and rocked the house! I listen to everything under the sun so my song selections were a bit different, he found every song I wanted and played my favorites but also included songs people could get up and dance to! He helped the event sail smoothly and was a joy to work with! We could not have asked for a better DJ! -

Steve is the BEST DJ!!!
I highly recommend hiring Steve Bender for these reasons: ( booked early so I had a locked in rate) but so reasonably priced, when you book, you create an online form where you can make requests, look up songs, and plan your day using this! So handy! You can access it any time you want, I was on probably twice a day for months... Everything is so easy and you can make payments whenever you want for whatever amount you want. Super easy. The actual wedding was perfect! Music was one of my biggest (if not biggest) things that had to be perfect as I've been to many weddings where it was subpar and boring for lack of another word. Everything was as I envisioned, no technical issues, sounded great, every song I requested was played, people got to make requests. It was perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Steve Bender!! -

Professional and made the night so fun!
Steve Bender himself joined us for a vendor meeting a couple of days before and was extremely kind/flexible when deciding on the DJ set up for our reception. Shaun (our DJ) gave me a cal the week of to talk through details and make sure we were getting everything we wanted from our music. The night of, Shaun played all of our favorite songs and kept the dance floor lively. We loved getting to know him and appreciate the part he played in our perfect day. Would definitely recommend this team! -

Exceptional DJ Experience!
Casey and I have the best experience with Steve Bender! Steve made us feel at home from our very first meeting. We originally were going to go with a different DJ, which works for Steve, who we have seen at my roommate's wedding in 2015, but after meeting with Steve, we felt so comfortable and had such good conversation with him and felt he would meet our every need at our wedding. Steve made sure to give us all the details and gave us a good deal. He was extremely tentative and professional. He also was able to adjust to our timeline and add on last minute ceremony music days before our wedding which eased our stress. Steve made the lighting in our tent at Pinecroft look beautiful and passed out glow sticks for us during the reception as he played music which kept the energy going the entire night. He was fun, entertaining and played a variety of music which made the guests want to keep dancing and the dance floor full the whole night. Casey and I also used Steve for the photo booth and upgraded to the premium booth for video. We LOVED watching the videos and pictures days after our wedding and will cherish these memories forever. We would highly recommend Steve Bender to anyone and are sad we can't hit replay on our wedding night! -

Amazing and would 100% recommend. Steve was our DJ for my husband and I’s wedding last weekend. The entire process with Steve was streamlined and amazing. best dj ever
Bender was our DJ and was hands down the best DJ we have ever experienced. First off, when we called him and left a message, within 5 minutes he would call us back. He is super friendly and easy to talk to. At our wedding, he made the party happen. He kept everyone on the dance floor with good flow of music and could really vibe what the people wanted to hear. He stayed an extra hour just for us. Steve Bender is hands down the best dj we have ever experienced, he felt the crowd and kept the vibes up. I would have gladly paid twice as much. He went above and beyond and just blew us away!! Thank you Steve for making our special day so amazing!! -

Awesome DJ and person
We told Steve at our final meeting that we are so happy we picked him, and a week after our wedding- I stand behind this saying. Choosing Steve as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we have made when booking our wedding vendors. He was wonderful, attentive, focused on our vision and very very responsive. During the planning process, I contacted the company at least 3 times, and was shocked to get a returned phone call from Steve himself, within a few hours EVERY TIME. He really does care about making the clients happy and playing wedding music perfect for the couple. I have no words to thank him enough. Best wedding DJ EVER!! -

DJ Bobby was Great!
Overall DJ Bobby was great! He coordinated with our officiant with ceremony music and played music during our cocktail hour from a different floor as well. Only bummer was we felt he wasn't loud enough at times (which definitely could have been a venue problem). Many people at the wedding had no idea we cut our cake or our dessert was put out! Bobby was great with the kids and passed out glow necklaces to guests. One guest asked if he could sing a song and our DJ came up to my husband and I and asked our permission first which was great because we did NOT want anyone doing karaoke! Overall, would recommend Steve Bender and Bobby - I would just double check the sound in the venue first! -

Steve is a great DJ! The online planning tool is easy to use and makes the process smooth and stress free. The planning tool is detailed which enables you to think through all aspects of your reception in advance. The online library is large and gives you great song ideas. Steve is a pro and very creative with song selection. He did a great job executing the music style we wanted at our reception. The monogram and accent lighting added a special touch to our venue. We highly recommend! -

We had the opportunity to work with RJ, he did a fabulous job! I couldn't ask for anything better, RJ and I spoke on the phone for a good 3o minutes a few days prior to the wedding and he made sure he did everything I asked him to do. RJ was absoltely amazing and made our day so wonderful! Joe Griffin was our premier DJ for our wedding and he was incredible! He was friendly, accommodating, and professional throughout the entire process. We didn't have to worry about a single thing as he clearly knew what he was doing and we felt so confident having him MC and DJ the night's festivities. We are very happy we went with Steve Bender Entertainment. We were very pleased with our dj Matt Fry. He did an excellent job running our reception. Always asking questions and making sure it was ran how I wanted it. Very reasonable price. And kept the dance floor full even with the kids. If you want to ease your mind and relax and have a great time at your reception, then Steve Bender entertainment is the way to go. I would definitely recommend them to any bride. We had Bobby for our ceremony and he was absolutely great to work with. He made the night an absolute blast by selecting such great songs the entire night and made sure to play many of our favorite songs that were important to us. He also put together a compilation of songs for the father-daughter dance which turned out to be so fun!
So many of our vendors have told us they have never seen a wedding dance floor stay so full for so long, especially at Drees pavilion where it sounds like many times, people spend a lot of time enjoying the beautiful view. At our wedding, I think he had most of the room on the dance floor the entire night. It really was a testament to what a great job he did. We can’t recommend him enough because he made our reception so memorable.

Steve Bender is so wonderful to work with and he did not disappoint!. He was the DJ at my sister's wedding 2 years ago and my dad has utilized his services for another event as well! So we were thrilled to find out he was available for our wedding! He is so professional, personable and accommodating. Steve took our music styles and selections and really stuck to those choices, while also adding his expertise on what keeps the party flowing. He is a fabulous MC and does a great job moving the night along. He has an online event planner that is so easy to use and was so helpful in giving us ideas of the best songs for each part of the night. We could select specific songs, as well as select our Do Not Play list. And he we send emails with the top Mother/Son Dance songs, First Dance songs, etc that were fun to read and gave us song ideas we hadn't considered before. The whole process from beginning to end was easy and enjoyable with Steve. We couldn't have been happier and our family and friends had a wonderful time dancing the night away -

Very intuitive with the music and we had a hiccup during the reception & he quickly turned on some music while my officiate went searching for my vows :) He kept checking in with me throughout the evening to make sure I was happy with how things were going. We had a bit of an older crowd so dancing wasn't as happening as it probably is at other weddings but for me it was perfectly fine - nothing at all because of him. HIGHLY recommend Steve. -

Save yourself a hassle and just book Steve Bender Productions to be your wedding DJ. They are extremely easy to work with and a great value! I live out-of-town, so I loved that they have an online planner to not only pick your songs, but communicate with your DJ. It is easy to complete your timeline, event highlights, and any other details that you want. You don't have to think of any of this. You simply use the drop down and/or enter your info. The DJ we picked was Bobby Leach. I loved that he would "tease" the night's highlights, like "Get your cameras ready. The couple will cut the cake after this song." Our guests liked that, too! My dad and brother played guitar and sang our first dance, and Bobby had all the equipment they needed and he did a sound check with them before the reception. He said we provided him one of the most unique song requests lists he had ever seen. It included a song from our friends' band, The Sewing Circle. Not only did he buy their song and play it, he gave a shout out to them and plugged their album! He played every song we requested, and some were rare finds. The sound volume was just right, so that our guests didn't have to scream to converse. I think he had an amazing lighting package and he even brought along glow necklaces/bracelets for the kids and young at heart! Also, my mom asked if we could have a discount for paying early, and they said yes! They are the best! -

Booking with Steve Bender was the easiest and best decision we made in our wedding planning. They were professional, cordial, easy to work with, and easy to contact. I wish that all of our vendors were as amazing as Steve Bender. We actually had Steve DJ our wedding at Wetherington Country Club in West Chester, OH and he was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or someone so easy to work with. Absolutely amazing! Bobby was our DJ and I can't say enough great things about him. He even stayed 30 minutes later because our guests were having such a blast; such a fun mix of dance songs from throw backs to top 100.
Additionally the planning process could not have been better- they had an online form to request songs, set an agenda and alleviate any questions. Both Steve and Bobby were also more than responsive in edits to songs and went above and beyond in creating a few introduction mixes for us.
I can't tell you how many of our guests have told us what amazing music we had. With Bobby there I didn't have to worry about a thing- he kept everything going so smoothly! I will only use Steve Bender productions again for any event moving forward. -

My dad and I had one of those "special dances" planned and I needed to get the play list to Bobby before the wedding; without my fiancé knowing about it---since it was a surprise! There ended up being a glitch with the mix we created and Bobby bent over backwards to make sure everything was working as it should---did I mention this was the day before the wedding?!

DJ Bobby Leach was the DJ/MC for our reception and we could not be more thrilled with the incredible job he did! Before the wedding he was always willing to speak or meet with us and walk us through the next steps we would need to take. He was really helpful with last-minute questions and was always calm and proactive in his approach.
The wedding itself was truly amazing. From beginning to end Bobby had a great feel for the audience and always kept the crowd dancing and having fun with his great music choices and personal DJ style. He kept the party going right up to the end! A great DJ was really important to us for our wedding, and with Bobby we are so thrilled and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would recommend him to anyone!
We also worked with this company to hire a photobooth, uplighting, and a projector. We worked with Steve and Bobby together on many of these things and again were thrilled with the result - all three items were run professionally and seamlessly! To say we are happy customers would be an understatement. -

Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very very affordable and the package included the uplighting which with other companies would've been an additional charge. I did all my research before meeting with him and couldn't have been happier with my decision. I actually had Steve himself DJ my wedding! It was easy to add songs to the list thru his online site and making payments were easy as well. -

We had Steve himself as our DJ and I couldn't have been happier with how things went. People had such a great time and the dance floor was never empty. We actually paid him extra to keep things going because people were having such a great time. -

When we set off planning our wedding, one of the most important aspects to us was to make it a fun party with good music. Steve Bender made it easy for us as we planned our wedding out-of-state, having a video conference with us to discuss our style and also making the client website available for us to refer to during the year leading up to the wedding. I always had a quick response when sending a message through the client portal. Steve set us up with his DJ, Bobby, who we couldn't have been happier with! We knew our reception was in good hands. Bobby was there plenty early to set up, everything the entire night went smoothly with the toasts, introductions, and first dances. During dinner, we'd asked him to play classic jazz music and he made a perfect playlist, and most importantly, the music was at the perfect level so guests could still chat with one another. As for the reception -- we had so many guests tell us it was the most fun they'd had at a wedding reception. The music and ambiance was perfect and we are so thankful and happy with Steve Bender's DJ services!! -

We contracted Steve Bender Productions DJ services for our daughter's wedding reception which was held at the Art of Entertaining in Cincinnati. During my initial contact with Steve, he explained how our daughter could create a template for the reception events as well as customize the playlist from thousands of song titles available on his website. She thoroughly enjoyed the easy process of planning her dream reception using this template. And, what a PERFECT evening it was thanks to the professional expertise of DJ Bobby Leach, who seamlessly and masterfully directed the reception events and music. The bride and groom, my husband and I, along with our guests, had the best time ever!!! It was a beautiful wedding day made even more memorable by the DJ services provided by Steve Bender Productions. They are absolutely the best!!!!

When I first met Steve, I told him that besides my soon to be husband, he was the most important man at my wedding! The music and dancing were very important to us, and we were very pleased. Steve had all of our guests dancing from beginning to end. He listened to our thoughts and requests, but also did a great job of reading the crowd and throwing a great party. We would recommend Steve to anybody! -

We went through Steve Bender Productions and found DJ Bobby Leach for our son's wedding reception. To call him a DJ is an understatement - he not only did an excellent job with the music (seamless!), he was able to make the job of getting all the wedding stuff - intros to the speeches, Mom/Son, Father/Daughter dance, cake, etc - done with ease! His music system sounds wonderful, too. EVERYONE was dancing - even my 82 year old Mother! -

We had Steve Bender DJ our 11/9/13 wedding and couldn't be happier with the service that we were provided. Filling out his online form for what music we wanted was very easy (you could even listen to samples of songs on his huge online database), and Steve was able to find and play all of our songs (even songs that didn't appear on the database!). My husband and I didn't put a lot of effort into the planning of our music, so we were so thankful when Steve came in and really "read the crowd" and had a fantastic music selection that kept our guests on the dance floor all night. There were guests that "never dance at weddings" that were up on the dance floor within 30 mins of the music playing! During the whole wedding Steve had a great attitude. His positive, non-stressful manner allowed for us to really enjoy ourselves with our guests while Steve handled the timeline of our night. He even coordinated with our caterer and other vendors which took a load off our plate. I'd highly recommend Steve to any couple looking for a DJ in the Cincinnati area! -

Steve was our DJ for our wedding. He stuck to our timeline, and had seamless transitions throughout the night. He kept the party going right up until the end and had all of our songs even though some weren't listed on the website. He also played music for all ages getting the adults involved as well, then transitioned to the "younger" music towards the end of the night! He also did a great job coordinating with our photographers so they were prepared for introductions, and all the big events of the night! Definitely hire Steve for all of your wedding needs!!!! -

Steve was great. He was the one who actually DJ'ed our wedding, and he completely put my mind at ease regarding everything. I filled out my online planner, and provided him with all of the information he needed, and he took it from there. He did a great job of directing both the ceremony and the reception. I didn't have to worry about corralling people, or making sure the night flowed the way I wanted to...because Steve took care of it all. He communicated with my photographer and my caterer so that they would know and be ready for the cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. Choose Steve Bender, and you'll be glad you did!!! -

If you are wondering if Steve Bender Productions is the right DJ for you- your search is over. My husband and I could have not been more thrilled with Steve's services the day of our wedding. We had our wedding outside, and wanted each sets of our bridal party to walk down to a different song and Steve made this happen, no questions asked. That may not seem like a difficult request but when you think about the skills required to wire an outdoor event without any issues was amazing. From the first time we met Steve he never once pressured us or made us feel like we had to choose him.
