Beautiful flowers

Tammy did a an absolute wonderful job on my flowers. She took my vision and budget and made it come to life. They were breathtaking and she is a pleasure to work with!

Wonderful Florist

Tammy was amazing to work with. She is so sweet and easy to work with. From the very beginning, I trusted that she would create what I wanted. She was always helpful and honest with me regarding flowers and pricing. I had three main flowers I was deciding between, and each time I asked, she would draft a new proposal with a different combination so that I could see the prices. I ended up going with all three in the bouquet and let her decide the rest to fill in, and she created something that was perfect! All of the bouquets were truly beautiful and exactly what I envisioned. It definitely shows that Tammy loves what she does and is extremely talented at it. I would definitely recommend A Splendid Affair!!

Tammy was AMAZING to work with! I was so happy with my flowers and how beautiful they were. She worked with myself and my mom to provide stunning arrangements while keeping in mind our budget. Tammy was easy to contact and so much fun to work with. Would use her again for any floral needs in a heart beat!

My wedding was a last minute occasion and A Splendid Affair was amazing. My bouquet was perfection. She asked me what kind of flowers I liked and the color. I gave her some ideas and she nailed it. I had no idea about flowers, but it was like she could see into my mind. She went above and beyond.

Tammy helped make our wedding day and absolute dream! The flowers were more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined and completely pulled everything together, and she kept the flow of the day perfectly on track and made sure our guests and vendors were all happy and taken care of. Everything was perfect and we could not have done it without Tammy and A Splendid Affair.

I planned my perfect Southern Illinois wedding day, from all the way in the Chicago suburbs. Some may see this being difficult, and yes, there were many hurdles along the way. However, picking "A Splendid Affair" made the job much easier. From the beginning, Tammy was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. I didn't know much about flowers, but Tammy helped me through the process step-by-step. I was able to give Tammy my inspiration pictures, and she patiently worked with me to figure out options that would work best with my budget. I visited once to meet with her in person, but I knew she was only a call or email away whenever I had a question. Overall, on my wedding day, I was floored by the beauty of my flowers. They ended up being PERFECT. I couldn't have been happier, and would recommend Tammy in a heartbeat.

I hired Tammy because of her fabulous reputation, and her eye for perfectionism. She is a true artist and conveyed my wedding exactly, as if she were peering through my own eyes. She is detailed oriented, and creative, which allowed me to give over the reigns and trust that whatever she was working on would be absolutely phenomenal. As a florist and planner, her ideas were definitely that of an expert in her craft. I could not have been better prepared for my wedding. Tammy is a lovely person to work with and will make sure your every Pinterest dreams come true.

Tammy provided exceptional, friendly service. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and the décor at the reception exceeded our expectations. She was very helpful and easy to work with, and was right there with us from the wedding planning, coordination of the rehearsal and the wedding, the decoration and set-up for the reception and the clean-up. I highly recommend A Splendid Affair! She made everything easier and I could not have been happier!

When planning my wedding my main goal was to make it as beautiful and stress-free as possible. Tammy did all this and more for our special day. She was able to listen to what I wanted and create the wedding of our dreams. We were blown away, and I cannot tell you how many compliments I still get on how beautiful everything was especially our flowers. Tammy was a dream to work with from beginning to end. There was not a question she couldn't answer and she was very prompt and professional throughout our planning process. She does not disappoint!

A Splendid Affair did the flowers and decor for our wedding and I could not have asked for anything more. Tammy was a joy to work with and the floral design she did for us was more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed of! A Splendid Affair's Tammy Ogden did a fantastic job. From conceptual planning of the rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception, Tammy took ALL the worry out for the bride & groom. From the many beautiful flower arrangements, to the table linens and china, to the layout of the facility, Ms. Ogden was spot on. She was present from the start of the rehearsal dinner through the last dance of the wedding reception. We could not found a more gracious and understanding wedding planner. She was the best!

Since I lived in Champaign and the wedding was in Carbondale (3 hours away from home!), I had to do most of the planning from a distance. I found A Splendid Affair online and looked through the website. It seemed very professional and the reviews seemed to be good.

First of all: I was THRILLED with my wedding flowers.

Ok the details: Tammy was great at communicating with us. We set up a Skype meeting with her, and she was so nice in letting us do it after 5pm. She also met with us at the church when we went down to Carbondale for our tasting. Tammy kept in mind the inspiration pictures that I had sent her and gave me a proposal that fit nicely into our budget.

Tammy was professional and great at communicating, which I find to be SO IMPORTANT. And, like I said before, I LOVED our flowers. My bouquet was great!! It was so pretty, taking into account the inspiration pictures I had sent her and also the color combinations I had asked for. The bridesmaid bouquets were also pretty; I had chosen the small bouquets, but they were a nice size (bigger than some other bouquets I had as bridesmaids in other wedding). The boutonniers were understated, but I loved them.

I highly recommend A Splendid Affair!

Tammy was wonderful! Beyond helpful! She went above and beyond to make our special day unforgettably beautiful! The flowers were gorgeous and so fresh! The center pieces and tablecloths were stylish and looked like they could be pictured in "Bride" magazine.
Tammy's kindess and professionalism was outstanding. I could call or text her anytime and get a prompt reply with nothing but friendliness in her voice. Tammy works well people! She did my sister's wedding as well and again out did herself! I had a gorgeous June wedding and my sister had an equally gorgeous winter/Christmas wedding.
I can't wait to hire Tammy to decorate for future events! I'll be moving back to the area so I will without a doubt refer her to others as well.

She provided options for planning, location, and even went beyond her duties to provide a very personal touch on my wedding day. Exceptional service. Warm and welcoming. Did not rush you when trying to make decisions. They enjoyed your excitement with you. Made you feel that your event is just as personal to them as it is to you. Their professionalism was excellent. Willing to help in anyway that they could. Offered different options to be able to work within your financial budget. Extremely flexible and patient, no matter how many times you change your mind. When decorating for the event, they came in, went right to work, very organized. I would highly recommend A Splendid Affair to help plan your event.

i LOVED working with Tammy at A Splendid Affair. She is so wonderful and made the planning process/ wedding day so smooth. I didn't have a worry in the world thanks to her. We were all able to just enjoy the wedding day and soak it all in.

A splendid affair designed the floral arrangements for our wedding and provided day of coordination. I didn't know much about flowers, so I put full trust in Tammy to create beautiful flower arrangements, and she delivered! I received multiple compliments on our table center pieces. I'm also so grateful to have had her there on my wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. It definitely took a lot of stress off myself and my mom to have Tammy and her team there to run the show! I'd highly recommend to anyone!

I hired Tammy as a "day-of" planner. Tammy thought of things I would have NEVER known to be of importance on my own! She gave us great ideas on the lay out, flowers, centerpieces, catering, etc. Tammy came to the venue and gave us great feedback. It was so helpful to have someone on site the day of the wedding who knew the plan and could direct vendors and guests. Tammy is detail oriented, accommodating, and friendly. Initially I had considered using another service as I had to plan my wedding from 6 hours away but they were much pricier and didn't listen to to the vision I had for my special day. I would highly recommend Tammy to anyone in need of a thorough, focused professional to help plan their wedding.

Tammy listened carefully and always made a great effort to understand what we wanted for decor and flowers for the wedding and reception. She was always patient, enthusiastic, and appeared to thoroughly enjoy her job. Totally professional, flexible, and always calm and cool as a cucumber no matter what situation seemed stressful to us. Tammy and her assistant were great to work with on our wedding day! Having them there made things go very smoothly! No question about it Tammy is truly amazing at event planning. One only has to look at her FB page to see her skills a flower arrangements. My event was a celebration of life for my husband. A very difficult time for me and yet I wanted it to be a memorable, beautiful, and fun time for friends and family. Bingo! Eight months ago and I still have people telling me what a wonderful way to honor Brian and his life. Very helpful and understanding with class. A Splendid Affair is GREAT!
