Best Decision, for an AMAZING time!!
Bill and John were not only professional, they went above and beyond to create a playlist that fit the vibes we wanted for our wedding! They also we very informative and helpful on the day of. As my father has chronic pain and would not be able to dance the entire song we chose, they helped to make the moment special regardless. They also took the time to really get to know us with questions to figure out the music we enjoy. They had everyone dancing and it was a blast! Even my Father-in-law enjoyed himself! I was absolutely touched when they gifted us our wedding song, and included a personal photo from Bill’s garden on the cd, which happened to be my favorite flower. I cannot think of any negative words to describe this service! They were rockstars!

Great Communication and Very Accommodating
Bill and John did a wonderful job for mine and my Husbands special day. From the very first phone call, Bill was very informative and reassuring that they would get the job done to fit our vision. They even came to the rehearsal (small extra cost) to make sure all music cues were exactly how I wanted them which was great as many DJs had told me “no.” It really helped ease my nerves knowing things were well executed and ran through the day before. Throughout the planning process, Bill was very responsive to any questions I had via email or extra phone calls. I did have a change I added in last minute so our dog could be apart of reception announcements and they didn’t even flinch at the last minute change of plans. They nailed it. They played great songs, surprised us with a gift after our first dance, and even kept bringing my girls and I fans cause they had us dancing all night. We cannot thank both Bill and John enough for helping us execute our big day!

One of the things that stood out most was how well they read the room. The music flowed effortlessly all night, with seamless transitions and a perfect mix of upbeat dance tracks and slower songs to catch our breath. The dance floor was packed the entire evening—which says it all!

Bill was incredibly responsive every time I reached out to him. I mistakenly never signed our contract when we had initially hired his services, but he held the date for us and we were able to move forward with no issues! He was easy to talk to and patient with me when I finally remembered to send him all of our day-of details. Mike and Antonio were our emcees during our reception and they were so professional. We had some microphone issues during speeches but overall everything went smoothly and without major disruption! They were sincere and you could tell they love what they do. My only complaint is that I wished more of our "Must Play" songs were included instead of our "Play if there's time" songs - but combined with our open bar, we all had a great time anyway! :) Huge thank you to Bill and his entire team.

Awesome DJ
From the start you could tell that he was very professional while being as flexible. A seasoned DJ who knows how to keep the party jumping. You could tell he gets the feel/vibe from the guests and keeps the music coming. He had a variety of music that was not boring. From English to Spanish music it all flowed well together. A definite plus to any wedding. We are a photobooth company and have been working in the industry for over 7 years and we can tell how successful a wedding will be by the music they play. Very fun evening with Bill he does not disappoint!

Bill was nothing short of amazing. I, last minute, had to request him as a DJ for my wedding due to my previous DJ passing away :/ He immediately assured me that I was in good hands, things would be taken care of, and to not stress! He really did only what my husband and I wanted as far as song selections go. I gave him a list of songs to play that we wanted to hear, and he played only those. He didn’t take song requests (per our request). He just really listened and wanted to make sure that we were getting what we paid for. The dance floor was absolutely packed from the moment the music started until the moment it ended. Bill was a pleasure to work with and I’d recommend him to anybody!!!

Awesome reception!
Bill made the night rock! Great sound system, perfect music selections to dance to, very professional. He even let me sing a song to my brother and his new wife! My parents even danced to fast songs, never have I seen that in my life! All around amazing experience.
A sound Decision DJ'd at our first annual memorial golf outing "Birdies For Branks". Bill was extremely helpful and accommodating he even donated to our cause. Rob was our DJ and he was on time and excellent throughout our event. Can't wait until next year we will definitely hire them again. Thank you for being a important part of our event! Sound decision all the way!
These guys made my wedding perfect! They worked with me at White Oak Farm Venue and made it the best experience. They were so attentive to my needs, came up behind me multiple times throughout the night, asking me if I needed anything, and basically acted as additional coordinators. There was a few times I couldn't find someone to help me with doing something throughout the evening and I was able to direct my question to them, even if it had nothing to do with the music, they went out of their way to get it done for me without me needing to worry about whatever my request was. They totally respected my requests for the music and didn't let any of my drunk guests make requests without my approval! Would totally use them again for another event, was very happy with them.

Bill the owner was very nice to deal with, quick to respond back to all your questions. Very nice framed first dance CD given to us after the wedding, this was part of the contract. Bill and his crew went above and beyond to make our day incredibly special. My dad and myself had a few different requests and they were more then happy to oblige. We had such a wonderful time and everyone loved the music.
They even surprised my dad along with myself and my husband with a personal gift that was truly heartfelt and thoughtful.

The best!
To say our wedding planning process was stressful is an understatement. COVID- really complicated a lot. Bill was amazing with our schedule and venue changes - and was so accommodating to everything i wanted. He didn’t question anything i wanted and just for it done. He was there every step of the way on the day of, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! he’s also just so fun and funny to be around, he becomes like a buddy on the day of! everyone had a blast, the music was great, and he kept things moving during the reception and made sure we were making sure everything was being done on time, can’t say enough about working with them!

We had songs we requested to play at certain times and asked them to switch up the playlist at the end of the night and they did! They were great and listened to all of our requests! Bill and John were the DJ’s at our wedding on 2/27/21 and they exceeded any expectation we had. From start to finish, they were incredible. Holiday Santa
Bill was absolutely outstanding as Santa this year for our Preschool. He showed up early and was well prepared for over 130 children. Bill read a story to them, talked with each child about one thing they wanted him to bring them, answered lots of questions they had for him and handed out candy canes that he purchased for each of them! The children were all so excited he was there. Would highly recommend him for this type of event.

Great DJ, very flexible, went above and beyond!
Bill came recommended to us from one of our other vendors. We were told they've worked together many times and he would do great. From start to finish, Bill & his team does a fantastic job. Bill has been doing this for many years and his experience shows. The song selection lists are wide ranging and he was able to accommodate any request that we made. With the Rona messing a lot of things up for a lot of people, we were also affected in having to change our ceremony site at the eleventh hour. I reached out to Bill to inquire about adding sound for the ceremony as the new site did not have sound. Bill was able to accommodate with out a problem and everything went off without a hitch. When lining everyone up for entrances, first dances, any other planned items, Bill & his team took all the work away from us, all we had to do was be there. It was so refreshing that we had nothing to worry about, and that everything was taken care of. We got everything we wanted and then some overall and the value for what we paid was superior. Bill even got some quick pictures while he was setting up, and sent them to us a couple of days after the wedding. It was great getting a quick preview before the photographer and videographer finished up their work. We were so happy that we went with Bill and would highly recommend that you consider A Sound Decision when choosing who you would like to DJ your wedding.

My experience with a sound decision
From the moment of the phone call to book everything was a pleasure I did not feel rushed on the phone call and everything was explained in detail financially very reasonable and was willing to work with me the wedding was a success. They had every single song that I asked for and there were songs that I couldn’t believe he had and if he didn’t have it he got it. All of my guests were also impressed very entertaining very respectful I will always use this DJ and I have referred him to a lot of others.

We were married on Feb 22, 2020 at Meyer Ballroom in Aurora, IL. Bill was a delight and very easy to work with. He was very accommodating about our music choices (we sent him our own list of preferred music) and did an excellent job on the night of. We received many compliments about the music and the amount of people dancing. Bill and his assistant, John, were also very helpful. I didn't have time or the nerves to eat anything that day until after the ceremony and they brought us plates of the appetizers that were being shared during our photos at cocktail hour. Both of them regularly checked up on us as well to make sure we were having a good time. Additionally, Bill did a wonderful job as MC and keeping us on track. Thanks Bill!

Fantastic!
Bill and DJ John made the experience of booking our dj completely seamless! Not only was Bill responsive and friendly he made sure to answer all our questions and put at ease on our special day! I cannot say enough good things about A Sound Decision.

Holiday Santa
Bill was absolutely outstanding as Santa this year for our Preschool. He showed up early and was well prepared for over 160 kids. Bill read a story to them, handed out a candy canes, and everyone was blown away by his presence. Would highly recommend him for this type of event.

Amazing!
Bill was beyond amazing. My wedding venue burned down in June, and my new venue was back in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I had already put down the deposits for all my vendors. Bill was SO accommodating, and didn’t even charge me a travel fee which honestly touched my heart as I didn’t get the same response from other vendors. He was quick to respond throughout the entire process, but especially during that difficult period.
As for the wedding reception itself, there was great music all night long, and he was able to fulfill our requests! I made many requests even week of the wedding and he was so easy going (like changing groom/mother song, cake cutting song). We had the unique request of wanting Cambodian music at our wedding and he was even able to pull that together!
We also utilized the photo booth option, and Pete was manning the booth! I voiced my concern with Bill about the size of the photobooth based off of the size of my venue, and Pete came with an open booth with a pretty silver glittery background! As soon as it opened there was a HUGE line! Everyone enjoyed it, there were props that could be used too! Pete even printed out extras so my husband and I could look at everyone’s pictures at the end of the night!
Both Pete and Bill were attentive to my husband and I during our reception to make sure we were happy and on the same page. They were personable and easy going but also knew exactly what they were doing. I would 100% recommend any bride and groom to use A Sound Decision!!!

I have had the pleasure to work with Bill several times. Music is his passion and it shows. He is very particular about coordinating all of the wedding events on time and the way the bride and groom wish. Bill's goal is to make sure everyone has an amazing time, and he achieves this goal continuously. Bill works well with the staff at the hall and other vendors. As a bonus, he also has a great singing voice. If you want the best in the business, I highly recommend a Sound Decision. It's probably the most important decision you can make.

We used them for our work Christmas party
Bill and John arrived early to be set up and ready to go, when our guests arrived. They played holiday music, during the dinner, and karaoke for the evening entertainment and fun.
They were very respectful and worked very well with me when coordinating our event. The evening was a success and the group had a lot of fun.

The Best of the Best
I can't begin to say enough good things about A Sound Decision. If I could rate them higher than 5-stars, I would! These guys are professional, efficient, fun, and know how to keep the party going! I also have to mention that they are an amazing value that fit right into our wedding budget.
I booked this DJ service for my wedding, and they had people out on the dance floor all night long. Several guests told me that they have never danced so much at a wedding! Bill and John did an amazing job putting together a playlist based on our music preferences, and even played all of the songs that our guests requested.
When my husband and I first arrived at our reception, we were feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the of emotions, attention, and events throughout the day. Bill and John introduced themselves, made us feel calm, and even went and got us each a beer! This is just a simple example to show how attentive and thoughtful they are, and how A Sound Decision goes above and beyond just playing great music.
I will never forget the energy, love, and FUN I experienced all night on the dancefloor. Thank you, A Sound Decision, for creating the best memories for everyone at our wedding. If you are looking for a DJ, I can't recommend them enough!

Helped make our party a huge success....loved them!
Wonderful to work with...very considerate of making our 50th anniversary a huge success. The DJ was very willing to take requests and was so kind to my little grandchildren. The photographer was willing to honor any requests we made and was interactive with the guests and especially getting a good picture with the little ones. I so appreciate everything they did for us.

They were awesome! My husband and I are huge metal heads and old hip hop junkies! We had a huge range of different music and A Sound Decision was so accommodating to all of our music needs! They were awesome and even let my bridal party pick individual songs to walk out to! Highly, HIGHLY recommend A Sound Decision! They kept the music going all night and even played a song of the band that my husband and brother were in at the end of the night. You will not go wrong with them! (:

Bill did a fantastic job as the DJ for our wedding. It is easy to see that he is the best in the business by how well he handled the entertainment for the night. He mixed slow and fast songs perfectly to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. Bill is an all around professional and never hesitated to help us with anything we needed.

Perfect DJ for Us
Kerry was an absolutely fantastic DJ for our small, Saturday-afternoon wedding. We wanted a chill, laid-back vibe with a DJ that would engage the audience in a less-than-cheesy DJ way. Kerry gave us exactly that and was able to incorporate my husband's and my Chicago Bears colors.
We couldn't have asked for anything more, our guests raved about the little details (even offbeat song requests) that made our reception so great. We changed things at the last minute and Kerry was so accommodating and didn't miss a beat.
The service was professional and timely, but with an incredibly personal and friendly touch that you just do NOT get with some of the much larger DJ companies that were recommended to me and that I met with at length. Kerry and Bill definitely provided that very personal and caring service we looked for in all of our vendors.

The Best DJ in NWI/Chicago!
Bill was amazing from the beginning. It's never easy choosing vendors, especially when planning a wedding in less than 6 months from another state. Bill not only made the DJ process seamless, but he also helped recommend other vendors that I still needed. He has a ton of experience & was always available when I had questions or concerns. He was so helpful the night of the wedding too! We got married on one of the hottest days in Indiana in years (go figure), so it was uncomfortably warm for our guests and the bridal party pretty much the entire night. He made sure we always had a drink in our hand and kept checking in with us to make sure we were having a good time. Our family and friends loved his music and energy. By far the best vendor we had for our wedding (along with his recommendation Pete for the photobooth).
