We could not be happier with our experience with Chuck. From day one, he was extremely professional, responsive, and easy to work with. He listened closely to what we wanted and even offered helpful suggestions that made the day run more smoothly. I had very specific timing requests for our ceremony music, and he executed them flawlessly—the moments unfolded exactly how I imagined. Throughout the night, he followed every instruction, played music our guests genuinely enjoyed, and kept the energy just right. His announcements were clear, friendly, and perfectly timed, and he brought such a pleasant, personable presence to the evening. We highly recommend!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Chuck was so great to work with!!! He was nice, responsive, and so helpful on the wedding day. And most importantly, he played great songs!!! We had so many people rocking out on the dance floor the whole time!

You cannot go wrong

Chuck was amazing to work with from the beginning. He is quick to respond and very flexible. We weren't sure on a lot of things but he was able to give us ideas and give us the best wedding ever. From the ceremony to the reception everything was perfect. All of our guests continue to tell us how much fun our wedding was and I think that Chuck had a lot to do with that.

Chuck was very good at helping us pick our music.

Our wedding was held on 6/27/2020. We really enjoyed having Chuck as our DJ. He kept the reception moving along and the timing of each event during the wedding.

Wonderful DJ!!

Chuck was so great and really kept the night going with everything from games to songs. He was super funny and so much fun! He even socialized with us all after hours which was so awesome! I would recommend him to anyone!😊🙌🏼

Chuck was great! He was extremely professional and met with us a couple of times ahead of time to make sure our wedding would be perfect. His sound system was great. When the wind picked up during our ceremony, he adapted on the fly to make sure our vows could still be heard perfectly. We really appreciated the way Chuck worked to understand our vision - then executed against that. Thanks for everything, Chuck!

Chuck was amazing! He read the vibe of the dance floor and kept everyone dancing all night! He played a mix of all our favorite genres and tossed in a few great surprises. He also played some slow songs which made the night very special. He also was a breeze to plan with and helped me figure out all the details. I would recommend him to everyone!

Chuck DJ’d our wedding and brought his beautiful wife. They were so friendly and personable, we fell in love with them by the end of the night. We couldn’t have been more happy with the service we received. Chuck knew exactly what we wanted and was meticulous with the planning before hand. It was a huge relief to know that the music for our wedding was in professional hands. We were able to relax and have a blast knowing that (big) part of our wedding was taken care of.

Chuck saved the day after our DJ had canceled on us less than 3 weeks before our wedding. He agreed to be our DJ last minute and met up with us to arrange everything before hand. Our wedding music was fantastic and everything went so smoothly. All of our guests had a great time. Chuck is extremely professional and experienced, I can't imagine our wedding without him! We definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding DJ!

Chuck was awesome, he was very helpful in the planning stages of our wedding! He did a great job at our wedding too, the sound was top notch and he was very receptive to the dance floor vibe which kept our guests moving all night! We would highly recommend A Sound Choice Dj entertainment!!!

I was first introduced to A Sound Choice DJ when the DJ I had originally hired for my mom's sixtieth birthday decided to move two weeks before the event. What luck! Chuck ended up exceeding all my expectations. Since then, I've hired him for my grandmother's eightieth birthday, and my wedding reception. Honestly, I wouldn't hire anyone else.

When it came to my wedding, his experience was invaluable: he helped us with the flow of the evening; assured us his equipment would not sound "tinny" in the Boise Depot (something I didn't even think to ask); he took the time to really listen to us, made every effort to play the music we wanted to hear, and kept the reception moving. And since this was the third event he's DJ'ed for me, many of of my friends and family were excited to see him again.

All in all I highly recommend Chuck and A Sound Choice DJ Entertainment; he's personable and professional -- and sure to keep the party going.

Chuck was totally awesome to work with! He made everything super easy and was so organized. We just told him our vision and he made it happen. I didn't have to worry about one thing on our wedding concerning him. We just sat back and let him run the show! Afterwards we had so many comments from our guests saying they wish we would have hired him another hour because they were enjoying themselves so much!

After working with Chuck, of A Sound Choice DJ Entertainment, we certainly want to recommend him! He was a great decision. He was able to cater to some unique circumstances. Our wedding was in the middle of the forest! He traveled to meet us, was punctual, and managed with limited electricity. Chuck brought equipment that produced great sound but was also unobtrusive to the view. His equipment did not stick out during the ceremony or in our photos.

We didn’t know what to expect from our wedding guests on the dance floor. But, once the dance floor opened up Chuck kept them dancing for hours! He spent time learning the types of music we enjoyed and was able to take that knowledge and really channel the crowd.

He created such an awesome atmosphere out on the dance floor we asked him to stay and keep playing past our booked time! We really appreciated his flexibility.

Thanks so much, Chuck, for making our wedding the fun event we imagined! Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor. With gratitude, The Maguires.

Chuck had a great selection of music! He adjusted the playlist to suit the party and made great song choices. He did a great job keeping the wedding moving forward as well as checking in on me and my husband to make sure we were having a great time. He truly made our day wonderful!

Chuck was great to work with. We met a couple times before my husband and I got married. He is a very laid back guy who has the experience needed to make sure your special event goes great! We had our ceremony in an area without electricity and he was quick to offer help with music down there plus in the reception area. We had so much fun that when it was time to end, we asked Chuck to play another hour and he was glad to continue the party. His advice for music layout was great and everyone who attended our wedding had a great time.

Chuck was amazing! He met with us a couple times before our wedding and helped us get everything in order. Having his help saved me, as a bride, a lot of stress. I had no idea where to start with planning our reception or ceremony, and Chuck was able to help us outline the basics and we adjusted anything accordingly. His equipment is minimal and does not take away from the decor and the sound quality is great. No microphones in our photos and no bulky set up stands or speakers in the way. He was entertaining and our guests still rave about how much fun they had at our wedding even though it was 104 degrees when we said our vows. Thank you Chuck for being there for us and with us on one of the most important days of our lives. :-) You are great!!!

Chuck was incredible. During the planning process, he was very responsive and helpful. And at our wedding, he was even better! The microphone and speakers provided by the venue weren't working, but thankfully Chuck was prepared and brought back up equipment so everything went smoothly. He made our wedding reception a blast. He got everyone out on the dance floor and made our reception the dance party we had dreamed of! He truly went above and beyond - he even brought me and my husband drinks at our sweetheart table! You definitely want Chuck to DJ your wedding.

Chuck is by far does the best work compared to any other DJ I've seen at weddings. He was so helpful during our planning process giving suggestions and ideas. When the day finally came he kept the party going all night long! We wanted a lot of dancing and that was exactly what we got! I highly recommend him!!

Chuck was amazing and truly made our wedding epic! I was so worried about knowing when and where I need to be somewhere to give a speech or entertain people on my big day, but Chuck took all the worrying out of that. He came to me with a schedule of things I might need to do though out the night. He made me feel far more prepared and ready that I could have ever imagined. The night went incredibly smooth as Chuck guided our guests from the ceremony to dinner to dancing.

When the night was done, I had no idea how it flew by so fast or how it went so smooth. I feel like Chuck did an amazing job of making everything happen and transition so smoothly which I thought I was going to have to do and was terrified of. I would hire Chuck again in a heartbeat!!!

I am honestly not being lazy by giving all 5's, he truly did an amazing job. Weddings fly by so fast and it's hard to keep everything moving at a good pace but he kept us on the ball with timing and made sure things were moving well. He also made sure to remind guests of all the activities we had around the building so that no one missed out. He was more than a DJ for us and he did an exceptional job! Thank you!!!

Chuck did a great job at our wedding! From the time we first contacted him, he was very responsive and quick to respond to our many questions. He was clearly prepared and knew what he was doing. He gave us additional ideas that we hadn't thought about and we were very excited to incorporate into our wedding. His Pricing was fair and within our budget. Our guests loved him, and he got so many of them up and dancing. He kept the wedding on schedule, and made sure to read the crowd to make sure they were having fun. We highly, highly recommend him!

I didn't even no he had arrived to set up for the event untill he did his tests and he was so quiet anf efficient . His set up is small but with a LOT of good clear sound and is just what we needed. We rushed a few things ahead of schedule and he did them ease and like it was part of the program. I would recommend him to all my friends for any type of event that they may have just so I can listen and enjoy his great work. Thanks for enjoying our special day and making it effortless for great music and the games.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Chuck - from the first time we met to discuss our wedding, until the wonderful night of our party. He was helpful, responsive, flexible and always so pleasant. We had a great experience with A sound Choice. They were helpful during the planning process. They helped remind me to get things done instead of just letting them not get done. They were upbeat and excited to be there for us on our big day. The day of the wedding they new what they needed to do and were very helpful with keeping everything flowing and on track. Chuck is the guy you want to host your wedding or any other event for that matter! I wish I could provide a higher star rating as 5 stars just doesn't cut it for his professionalism and flexibility to work with you. Not to mention he's full of experience and advice to offer to make your day go off w/out a hitch!
The DJ services were the life of our wedding, He drove all the way out to McCall, ID and set up his station and you can tell that he wasn't just there for a "job" he was enjoying himself at every moment, I don't think I ever saw him w/out a smile on his face, and he would go speak to others as well!
If you're looking for an affordable AND professional DJ service, look no further, for you have found the one man that will do whatever it takes to make sure your day goes smoothly!

Chuck did an excellent job of involving the audience, got a little participation going, picked out some music that fit the age group perfectly and all in all he made it a very nice event. Very good person to work with also, very easy going and accommodating, Showed up on time actually even early, got set up ahead of the event and gave us great value for our money. Chuck was awesome! He answered all my questions and was very patient with me. He made us feel like we knew what we could expect and communicated with us before and throughout the event. He was lively and everyone had fun! If we ever need a DJ for any other event i will most definitely be calling him, and all my friends are already saying they know who they are going to hire for their weddings! Before I got married, I always knew I had to have two things at my wedding to make it perfect. An extremely talented photographer to catch every moment and a skilled DJ to help make those moments on the dance floor happen! I always based a successful wedding on whether people were flooding the dance floor all night or not. I knew that keeping people on the dance floor heavily depended on the DJ. Chuck did an amazing job! He took the time to meet with us before the wedding to learn about our expectations, what we liked and didn’t like, and even helped plan special surprises for our guests and even for us! He also provides an online profile that helps you pick songs for your ceremony and reception. It was really nice because it did all the organizing and thinking for me so I didn’t have to remember all the times I might need a song played. Chuck did his homework with our guests as well and made sure to play songs to keep everyone tearing up the dance floor from the moment he started playing until the lights went out! I HIGHLY recommend chuck for your event. If you want to ensure people will be on the dance floor all night, Chuck is the essential component to your dance party! Chuck was amazing! I felt we really danced the night away. Chuck started the night playing fun music for the kids to dance to while we all ate dinner and then quickly switched it up as soon as my husband and I were ready to dance. The fabulous play list Chuck was using kept the dance floor packed all night. Then when he heard he had played a song with a lot of meaning while my husband was away he made sure to revisit it later in the evening. Thanks for the most amazing time!!!

Chuck was a fantastic DJ!!!! Not only did he make sure everyone was having a good time dancing, but he helped us coordinate our entire event!!!!! He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and took the time to meet with Hannibal and I several times before the wedding to understand what we wanted for our big day. I could not recommend a better DJ! You'd be crazy to pass this one up. He's affordable and does way, way more than expected. My husband and I are incredibly thankful to him for helping make our day amazing and, best of all, stress-free.

Chuck and Vera were absolutely amazing and they helped to make our wedding day so memorable and FUN! The dance floor was full the entire night and we had so many of our guests comment on how awesome the DJ was. Chuck was outstanding, and really helped turned our wedding into a party that everyone could enjoy! Music can really set the atmosphere for the party and make or break whether guests have a good time. Chuck listened to all of our requests and concerns in the planning stages, helped me plan the reception and ceremony stages of events, and was so wonderful to have with his experience. He added so much to our night and his value was wonderful!! Even after my dad and others went overboard on the toasts, Chuck stayed and continued playing longer than his time, never asked for a dime more, but just didn't want to let us or our guests go home without the night of dancing we had hoped for! One of my favorite things: he never wanted to bother asking for final payment during our special night. He is a gentleman and fully understands that this was OUR special night. Highly recommended!!

Chuck Hartman was very helpful in planning out the music and how it should come together. He also was willing to find music that he didn't have on hand to make Tom and I's day all that more important and special for us. Dickey's BBQ was very helpful in explaining how much we would need for the amount of people we had planned on coming. Sheryl was a great person to work with. My wedding at honalee farm was made possible by a sound choice dj, chuck Hartman. Such a fun and thoughtful guy! Honalee farm was very easy to work with. Our cupcakes from sugar rush cupcakary were so good! Everyone loved the fun flavors! We used Edwards greenhouse's florist Matt and I was very impressed by how great everything turned out. My flowers still look fresh and gorgeous!

Chuck Hartman was an outstanding choice for our daughter's wedding. He asked what colors were being used for the wedding and dressed accordingly. Prior to selecting him, he was sending us helpful information on wedding planning ideas and assisted at the wedding, way beyond our expectations. He had an acurate feel for our diverse group and had great music choices that were pleasing to all of us. I would most definately recommend him to a friend or anybody wanting someone to co-ordinate music for any type of event. He did any outstanding job and was very professional.

Chuck was great!! He really handled our procrastination well :) And did everything we wanted. He was huge help in creating a "schedule" of events,and even when the schedule changed throughout the ceremony and reception for certain reasons, he adapted very well. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out and we owe a huge Thank You to Chuck Hartman! He provided the music for our ceremony and reception. We were having so much fun that we asked Chuck to stay for a couple more hours. We kicked it up a notch as the older crowd started to fade out. I also called other DJ's in the Boise area before I got to Chuck's phone number and he was by far the most reasonably priced and mostly he worked with us even though we were clueless of what music to choose. We decided to use Chuck because he was a family friend. We are very happy that we did. We were not an easy couple to deal with as we didn't finish picking out our song selection till the last possible moment and was still able to accomidate us. A Sound Choice DJ (Chuck) was wonderful. He defianately helped in making our day memorable. Even though I have been married for a year and a half, everytime I hear special songs that Chuck played for us I get teary eyed. Music can make such a beautiful memory and I am so happy that Chuck was the DJ that was able to provide this. Chuck and Vera were amazing! They made our ceremony and recpetion run so smoothly. They are both very approachable and did everything in their power to make our wedding exactly what we wanted. It was great to have Verakeeping us all organized. She was wonderful at gathering the wedding party and making sure we were all where we needed to be for those special times during the reception (toast, speeches, entrance). Chuck is an awesome DJ. We still get compliments on how fun our reception was. No one wanted to leave the dance floor and he knew exactly what to play based on the crowd he saw. There was never one of those awkward moments where people stop and leave the dancefloor because the song wasn't appropriate. I guarantee you will nothing but impressed if you book Chuck and Vera to accomodate your wedding!

I am so glad that I went with Chuck Hartman to be my DJ for my wedding. As I am sure you all are figuring out there is a lot that goes into planning a wedding and that brings a lot of stress, especially when it gets close to the big day. Chuck was very easy to talk to and he got me excited for my day. He made some time for me to go over what songs. I had no idea there were so many spots for different songs to play during the ceremony and reception and I had no idea what songs I wanted to fill for the whole reception and part of the ceremony. Chuck gave me a list of traditional songs to work with and filled in the gaps by asking me and my guests for recommendations. He made me feel much more at ease for the wedding by being in charge of it all and making sure everything ran smoothly. I was wishing the price could be a little lower for dj services but it is definitely worth the money for Chuck. Not only was he dressed professionally and had great equipment with excellent sound, he also helped me run my wedding smoothly and I can't thank him enough for all that he did that day. I highly, HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ!!

A Sound Choice DJ was perfect for our wedding. We had a pretty big crowd for the clubhouse we had rented, and his equipment fit perfectly in the corner. He took requests all night and played music for the older crowd and younger crowd. Everyone had a great time and were on the dance floor dancing away. He he also helped pickup trash from the tables that guests had left. Would highly recommend.

I found their commitment to service refreshing. Our event was not a wedding, but a fund raising event for a local children's non-profit organization. As you can imagine, our budget is less than desirable for most DJ services. I believe the attitude & commitment to professionalism expressed by the owners of A Sound Choice proved that there are still good quality companies out there who understand what it means to be a service based business. I especially appreciated their flexibility when something unexpected occurred at our event, causing them to become the rescue crew. They really went above & beyond their call of duty. They were extremely pleasant to work with and I'm sure we will enjoy having them again considering how well they took care of our event DJ needs.
