Awesome officiant

Jon and I were so very pleased with Dina!!! she really paid close attention to detail thru the whole process especially our ceremony . She gave us the material to make our ceremony the way we wanted from start to finish . Dina is very professional and always there to help with every step of planning, and because of that she made our wedding day more than we could have ever dreamed . Hire dina!

Working with Dina was truly a dream come true. We worked closely with her through her Save Your Marriage Before it Starts pre-marital counseling service and we couldn't recommend it enough! Dina is so warm, knowledgable, and personable to work with. We instantly felt so comfortable with her, even through Zoom calls!

We loved being able to plan/create our one-of-a-kind ceremony through Dina's ceremony booklet that she created. Being able to pick and choose what words best represented us and our relationship made for an extremely personal and unique ceremony. We got so many compliments from guests and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

If you're looking for an incredibly knowledgable, warm, and enjoyable officiant, look no further! Dina was incredible and we couldn't recommend her more!

Rev Dina was amazing

Rev Dina was exactly what we wanted!! She made the ceremony calm and reminded us to breathe during it. Also shooed away some bees from us too!! Couldn’t recommend her enough

Absolutely amazing experience!

Dina was absolutely amazing! We contacted her in a panic because our Minister had an emergency literally the day before our wedding. She walked us through everything from start to finish. She had 24 hours notice and provided reassurance and love through the stress. The ceremony itself was nothing shy of breathtaking! She incorporated my son and helped join us as a family. We would recommend her to anyone and everyone. She went so above and beyond for us! Thank you so very much Dina for everything!

Our ceremony was perfect!

Dina helped make our wedding day perfect. Our ceremony was so special because we were able to customize it from a book that she wrote. Our day was so happy and fun and it started with how excited I was to say our vows. So many people told me that they could feel the love and excitement that was radiated through our ceremony. I highly recommend Dina from A Soulful Commitment because we couldn't be more happy with the way our ceremony turned out!

So glad we had Rev. Dina!

Rev. Dina was a joy to be around, from our initial interview to the last phone call regarding obtaining certified copies of our marriage license. She walked us through each step of the way, and helped us create a wonderful, loving and unique ceremony. She even helped us through some emotional moments so we could keep the service going. Our guests kept commenting on how nice and personal the ceremony was! And definitely do the "Things I Love About You," it is a wonderful addition to hear what your partner loves about you as a surprise!

Rev. Dina did such a great job on our wedding! She was so sweet and helped us customize our ceremony to be exactly what we were looking for. The vows were so personal and such a perfect fit. Dina was extremely professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She was extremely accommodating with the ceremony writing. She has alot of sample ceremonies to look over so you can pick and choose the most perfect ceremony for your special day. I highly recommend her services!!!!

Dina was fabulous! She met with us before the ceremony to discuss crafting our ceremony which was totally custom made. She was great about putting extra things in there that we liked, like a sonnet by Shakespeare. She was accommodating and understanding. I never expected to have such a personalized wedding. It could be as religious or non-religious as we wanted. I cannot sing her praises enough!

Dina was absolutely wonderful! Her guidebook was really helpful and it includes so many options, there really is something for everyone. With her guidance we were able to pick out a ceremony that fit us perfectly! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how creative, intimate, and family oriented our ceremony was. And they all seriously loved the knot tying portion of the ceremony! It was all thanks to Dina. She took the time to get to know us, helped us plan the big moment, and carried it out flawlessly. We honestly cannot thank her enough!!! <3

Rev. Dina was the perfect choice to officiate our wedding. She was great to work with and allowed you to create as much, or as little of your ceremony as you like. I wanted to get my hands in on the vows and just wanted some feedback after I created it. She is able to be at the rehearsal and did not hesitate to dive in and help me make sure we knew what we were doing, which was so great because she really helped to keep our rowdy group organized and me calm.

Rev. Dina was genuinely engaged with us the day of the wedding and made sure that we were feeling cared for and that she was here for us. I felt supported and as if I have know her forever. She did such a beautiful job. I am so glad that she was such an important part of our wedding day and marriage.

Dina was an extremely helpful and critical part of our beautiful wedding ceremony a few weeks ago. We felt so comfortable working on her on the ceremony layout and flow of the evening from the recommended options from the design guide. Our families and friends couldn't say enough wonderful things about the ceremony. Dina truly helped us capture our voices in our vows and the tone for the evening's ceremony. If you are looking for a individualized ceremony, Dina can definitely help to capture your goals for your wedding.

I wish I could give Dina a million more stars! She is amazing!!! I was referred to Dina by my event planner after my other officiant bailed on me and honestly I'm so glad it happened the way it did. She is beyond kind, professional, accommodating, and just so great to work with! I would recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding officiant for their wedding. She has her own book for you to look through and you pick and choose through options of customized vows to what you like which was so cool- I was not expecting that. For someone who didn't exactly want to write their own vows but wanted a personal touch it's perfect. Or obviously if you wanted you can write them or if you don't want any stress of picking through the book at all she will completely design your ceremony for you! My ceremony went so smoothly the flow was perfect and exactly what I wanted. She also answered any questions I had very promptly and made everything stress free during probably the most stressful time of my life! I couldn't be happier with how my ceremony turned out I'm so thankful for her wonderful service!
Edit to add: I almost completely forgot to add this until my husband reminded me of what he said after our wedding... He said if it wasn't for Dina calming him down as I walked down the aisle he "would've lost it"! Multiple times during our ceremony as we were in tears she reminded us to breathe and held us together. She went above and beyond her duties to comfort us during the ceremony and we are so thankful. My husband seriously said he wouldn't have been able to hold it together or speak the vows if it weren't for her! She really just has such a comforting way about her! I honestly couldn't imagine there being another officiant anything like Dina... She's the best!!

Dina was the officiant for our fusion Sikh-American wedding and we could not have picked a more perfect person to help us exchange our vows! She understood our vision completely, and was very respectful of all traditions from both cultures. She helped smooth the transition from one ceremony to the other, and was a helpful guide in helping to create the script and setting we wanted to have on our wedding day. We would highly recommend her!

Dina was an absolutely amazing officiant! We saw her officiate our friend's wedding and it brought us both to tears. When it was our turn to get married, we were overjoyed to learn she was available for our date! Our wedding ceremony was so special and personalized for us, it made us laugh and cry. Our audience too! It was so emotional and special- I appreciate the time Dina took in getting to know us. One suggestion- do the "Things I Love About You" section if you can. We were soo smitten with each other's letters. We were over the moon! I also have a bit of social anxiety, and I was soo nervous having to be in front of so many people. But Dina made me feel so calm and I was able to stay in the moment. Thank you Dina!!

Dina was amazing and everyone at our ceremony thought that she did such a wonderful job. At the reception people kept complementing us on the ceremony and said it was the best they had ever been to! She has you create your own ceremony using a template that she has created and I really enjoyed being able to be so hands on with the process. If you don't want to create your own ceremony she will create one for you based on your tastes. She also drove to my house for our off-site ceremony rehearsal (we have a back patio that served the purpose well!) and was very helpful when we asked questions about the ceremony! I can't recommend her highly enough!

Dinelle was wonderful! She allowed for us to personalize our ceremony without us having to create the entire thing from scratch. Her delivery was flawless. It felt like we were getting married by a friend! We received so many compliments on the ceremony because it was so personal and unique (plus it was only 15 mins)!

Rev Dina McGee is AMAZING!! From the very first email I sent through wedding wire, until the absolute end, she was prompt, reliable, easy to work with , and her ceremony styles are completely out of this world. We did a blended family part of our ceremony, and it was beautiful....even the guests were in tears(my son is 4). My family and friends not only told me how beautiful the ceremony was, but they personally told her afterwards.

We knew from her first meeting that we were blessed to have her marry us. She is marrying friends of ours in August, and we can't wait to see her again. If you are looking for an officiant and she is available, BOOK HER! She was perfect and I would recommend her to anyone!

Dina was really wonderful to work with. We live outside the city, so we weren't able to set up an in-person meeting, but she was happy to FaceTime with us to go over what we wanted. She had a HUGE variety of ceremonies to pick from and tailor, so we were able to get exactly what we wanted from ours. On the day of our wedding, we had to make a few changes on the fly, but she was able to roll with it with no problem. She was friendly and warm, and really just wonderful. We couldn't possibly recommend her enough.

Dina was amazing! She absolutely nailed the service, everyone at the ceremony was full of praise. She was also a wonderfully calming presence to have up there when the stress and pressure is on! Very warm person and incredibly flexible and helpful with planning out the service. One of the best decisions we made was having Dina perform our ceremony.

Dina provides so many resources to help create a wonderful ceremony of your own. Without prompting, almost every guest said ours was the best ceremony they'd ever witnessed. She really helped us get the actual logistics down at the rehearsal, and when we first met her, she really spent a long time talking to us before we'd ever made any agreements or signed any contracts.

Rev. Dina was everything we had hoped for in an officiant , professional, personable and punctual . She also photographs very well ?. She has a beautiful aura that fills a room and I remember reading another review that said she is someone you'd like to get to know over coffee and we wholeheartedly agree . We had a great time though now it is a blur but can't wait to see the video to relive our magical and not so magical moments . Highly recommended !!!!! Dina was a recommendation from friends who also used her as an officiant. We met multiple times before the ceremony where she provided numerous options of readings, thoughtful words, ceremony styles and unity ceremonies. The variety of options were important to us as an inter-faith couple. She was extremely flexible in her wordings and sensitive to our requests. She was very easy to speak with and offered guidance in helping shape our ceremony. We trusted her suggestions during our rehearsal and ultimately our day wouldn't have been as well executed without her assistance.

We received countless compliments on our ceremony and on her. My uncle was openly weeping (borderline embarrassing for him) and told me privately it was more beautiful than his own wedding. My aunt overheard. They'll talk about it later.

Finding Dina was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding and we recommend her to anyone, especially those who want a unique ceremony.

My Husband and I were married on October 4th, 2014 at Grey Stone Fields by Reverend Dina McGee. She was recommended to us from a friend who also was married by her. We loved her from the moment we met her. Her flexibility in letting us customize our own wedding ceremony was greatly appreciated and allowed us a very unique and memorable ceremony. I have got nothing but great compliments from our wedding guests regarding our ceremony and Reverend Dina McGee herself. My husband and I plan to renew our vows in 25 years and we sure hope that Reverend Dina McGee will be able to do that for us.

Dina has been absolutely amazing! After our first conversation with her, we knew we wanted her to officiate our wedding. She's extremely flexible and really listens to what the couple wants for their ceremony.

She provides all of the resources necessary to plan and customize the ceremony. If you want to be hands off, Dina will construct the ceremony for you!

She was the perfect officiant for our ceremony. It was short and sweet, and so true to us as a couple. We received so many compliments from guests that our ceremony was unique and personal.

I was lucky enough to have Dina referred to me by a coworker a year prior to my wedding. We met over coffee to talk about what we were looking for in an officiant. I knew right away she was perfect. Dina was a wonderful officiant and very courteous. We designed a very personal ceremony with her, she did a rose ceremony, hand fasting and we did a ceremony giving roses to our mothers. She was very down to earth and kept a light and airy mood. She also made us feel very comfortable in the planning process which every bride knows can be stressful. I would recomend her to any bride that I knew.

I would definitely recommend Dina to anyone looking to create a magical wedding ceremony. She makes your ceremony your own. My husband and I wrote personal letters to each other that she read exactly as we had intended them to be read when we were writing them. Dina is a fantastic public speaker and everyone after our wedding was commenting about the ceremony and how touching and personal it was. We couldn't have ask for anything more amazing.

She ensured that the process leading up to the ceremony was smooth, and Dina helped us a lot with suggestions and ideas for how we could make our wedding special. We were supposed to get married in July but had to push up our wedding last minute and Dina was so flexible and luckily was available! The ceremony she delivered was just beautiful and all of our guests kept saying how special and sweet it was. Every interaction from first contact to our wedding day was friendly, encouraging, and prompt. We would recommend her in a heartbeat! Thank you Dina!

Dina was amazing to work with. She's such a great person and really goes out of her way to make your big day special. Our ceremony was gorgeous and had half of our guests in tears. She helped me build an intimate and meaningful ceremony that reflected who we are and what this day meant to us. I felt like our guests walked out of our ceremony knowing more about us than when they walked in and that was exactly what I wanted. It was perfect and I couldn't have done it without Dina.

Rev. Dina McGee created an amazing ceremony for my husband, Nick and I! From our first meeting, we could tell that she truly cared about the couples that she worked and genuinely cared about what they wanted for their ceremony. She worked with us for over a year in creating a perfect ceremony and had no problem with my last minute changes and requests! She was able to create beautiful words to express the message we wanted in our ceremony and eloquently delivered that message the day of our wedding! Rev. Dina was TREMENDOUS to work with! She was caring, thoughtful and provided all the templates we needed to customize a wedding that was perfect for us. She even helped my husband write his vowels! I would highly recommend Rev. McGee...she officiated our renewal and it was so beautiful. From the moment I called and spoke to her I knew she would be the perfect fit for our special day! She made our ceremony so special that we will remember that day for many years to come. Dina is so sweet and kind - we knew she was the perfect person to officiate our wedding ceremony. She really helped us to create a moving, personal civil ceremony. So many of our guests complimented us on the ceremony and on what a wonderful officiant Dina was. Dina was absolutely great. She took the time to get to know us and tailor the service to match us exactly. She was really accommodating and flexible with our unique take on a wedding ceremony and seemed happy to be part of the process. She even went above and beyond in agreeing to be the announcer for our reception, her first time!

Dinah is so easy to work with. Her book is so helpful with creating the perfect ceremony. She is very flexible with what you want to include. It's all about you and how you want the ceremony to go. Dina was wonderful! It did take her awhile to get us our draft of our ceremony though. The ceremony was wonderful and every bring we asked for, but for the 15 minute ceremony, I think it was SEVERELY over priced. Cost us $450 for the 15 minute ceremony and 1 meeting with her. She is a great person though and did the exact ceremony we asked for!

I appreciate your concern about the price you were given. I do know that a rehearsal was included with that price, and then was later taken off- making it $350. Additionally, in the one hour meeting, the designing of your ceremony, the templates that have been cultivated and added to over the last 10 years. The several email exchanges of working through the ceremony composition. I have been told by several wedding professionals that I am well under priced, compared to other wedding officiants.
I am very sorry that my response time was slow. I can tell you that this year was an incredibly busy season, and I did my very best. The ceremony was executed professionally, and I wish you the very best. May your marriage be a joyful adventure.

It has been 7 months since my wedding and I still feel the needed to put a review up. We got married in October, Rev. Dina was over an hour late, called my husband Josh, when his name is John and forgot to mention and had to ask during my ceremony for my deceased family member’s names when we were doing the tribute to them in the ceremony. I would not recommend her at all.
I will say this, pre ceremony wise, she was great called and gave us many option as to what could go into our service. And was willing to customize it to us, But unfortunately on the day she dropped the ball big time and it’s something we will all never forget. Could have over looked if it was one thing, but my video of my wedding has everyone correcting her about my husbands and she brushed it off like it was nothing.

It has been 7 months since this wedding, and within the last 2 days, this past client has found it necessary to slander me on every wedding website there is.
Amanda waited until the last minute to find an officiant. I already had a wedding booked on her date, but told her that if she was flexible, I could do it. I had reservations because it was so far away, but She assured me that as long as it would take place before dark we were good. It was in a shed in the middle of nowhere~ GPS couldn't track it, and she gave very poor instructions.
My previous wedding took a little longer than expected, and I attempted to call and text Amanda several times to let her know. I drove 90+ mph for over an hour to try to get to her on time, and when I got to the address she gave me, I found out that I still had another 10 minutes to drive. So I showed up about 40 minutes late, and the wedding didn't start for another 20 afterwards. It is also not my fault about the temperature being 30 degrees. Mother Nature doesn't always listen to me.
I did call John~ Josh and I apologized sincerely. My previous wedding's groom was named Josh, and I was so flustered, that I mis spoke. It was an honest mistake. I was incredibly embarrassed.
Amanda is right, I did not have her remembrance of family in the document correctly. She gave me the names at the very last minute, and I had her previous draft of ceremony already uploaded. The new one would not open for me, and I didn't have a chance to get the names beforehand. I apologized for this as well.
I do use my iPad for weddings. Because every single wedding is uniquely different, I am not able to memorize every wedding.
Amanda did reach out to me afterwards, to demand that I give her a refund in entirety, and threatened to sue me if I didn't. I offered to giver $100 in a refund because I was late, and she never got back to me to accept the offer.
I am very sorry you were not satisfied with my services.
