A Party Vibe

DJ Soul was great to work with for my wedding. He had us covered from start to finish asking about every detail of timing, announcements, themes, floor set-up, and playlists. He definitely has a voice for radio and brought our story AND the party to life! He made some of his own music choices combined with ours and the dance floor was never empty in over 4hrs! Every age group was always moving. He went above and beyond to accommodate all my last-minute equipment requests. He also set up and broke down on time! Perfect evening. I would highly recommend Soul for any event.

DJ Soul was incredible & highly recommend him to any couple getting married soon! He was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process & was also very affordable. Ryan was the PERFECT DJ for our wedding. On top of his creative ability of getting the entire crowd onto the dance floor, Ryan is also professional, he thoroughly listens to your likes/dislikes, he's knows a wide range of music, he can adapt to any audience, he's easy-going and great to work with, and he will FOR SURE fulfill all of your DJ needs. My husband and I truly wanted to have a wonderful time at our wedding and dance the night away, and Ryan made that dream come true. I would recommend Ryan (Dj Soul) for ANY event you are planning - he will not let you down. Book him ASAP if you're seeking for an amazing DJ.

Ryan was easy to work with, very helpful, and kept the party going the whole night! Any requests we made for music or announcements were all done exactly as desired! Amazing Wedding DJ

DJ Soul was A- Mazing!! We used DJ soul for our wedding in October. He far surpassed my expectations and we will look to use him at future events. He had our guest dancing all night. They even raved about how the selection of music before the ceremony was perfect. I cannot be more happier with his services. My monogram was beautiful and up lighting was perfect. He was very professional from the first phone call until the last dance. Definitely a great choice! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed to go with him for your event needs.

My wife and I hired DJ Soul for our wedding a few months ago and we could not have been more satisfied. DJ Soul is personable, professional, and his pricing is affordable and realistic and flexible. Leading up to the day of our wedding, he maintained a clear line of communication in order to ensure we would have the experience we wanted to create in our celebration that day. DJ Soul is definitely someone I would hire again in the future, and would feel very comfortable recommending to anyone looking for a local DJ.

If you're looking for a DJ for ANY type of party this is your guy. Ryan did my mom's 50th bday party a couple of years ago and had everyone dancing all night long! He had music for all ages, young and old. From that day we knew we wanted him to do our wedding. A couple of days before the wedding Ryan came over to our house to sit down and go over the flow/vibe of the wedding. My husband and I like to turn up so we told him we wanted everyone on their feet. We gave him a list of about 10 must haves and let him handle the rest and let me tell you, Ryan did his thing, had everyone dancing before dinner was even served! The dance floor wasn't empty at all the entire night. People told me that they don't dance at all at parties and were dancing at our wedding. He made our wedding a night to remember and we truly appreciate it. Thanks so much Ryan!!

DJ Ryan was awesome! He played everything that we requested, and the dance floor was packed the entire time. Our guests raved about how good he was! We had him play our reception and also provide the uplights and dance floor lighting, which looked amazing. He definitely helped make the night perfect! Our wedding was awesome - in great part due to the significant and quality dancing :)

All the single people mentioned that our wedding was the best wedding they've ever been to and married couples told us we were the second best ;)

Our guests had a great time and Ryan was very accommodating with my themed suggestions for "reception", "dinner" and "real dancing". He also at my request didn't play any journey - hah!

Mr. Abney was nothing short of amazing! He was very professional and accomodating. We were having trouble with some of the music selections and his creativity kicked in and he selected the perfect line up for my big day. His equipment is up to date and very modern. He provides everything you need to get the party started and keep it going. He created a beautiful slide show and excellent music to accompany it. He took requests from the guests and got everyone in the mood to party. I would recommend "The R Productions" to anyone in need of a Dj to keep your guests on the floor all night. I plan on using Mr. Abney in the future.

Ryan from The R Productions was all that I could have hoped for in a wedding DJ. I was nervous to use a DJ that I never used before because a DJ can make or break your event. However, Ryan helped me to feel comfortable about utilizing his services by offering me an opportunity to come see him in action at another event. From this experience, I felt Ryan would be great, but he completely exceeded my expectations at the wedding. Ryan kept everyone on the dance floor all night. I have never been to a wedding in which there was ALWAYS a nice amount of people on the dance floor. My wedding guests are still asking me about him. They said he was AWESOME, that he had us partying hard, and that he was playing some old classics that they haven't heard in a while. Ryan was also dressed very professionally at the wedding. Furthermore, Ryan did EVERYTHING I asked of him. I am an extremely detailed person, and I gave Ryan a 3 page document of how I wanted the music for the ceremony and reception. Ryan was open to going over the documents piece by piece and he nailed it at the wedding. I HIGHLY recommend DJ Ryan for anyone looking for a DJ that is knowledgeable of weddings and will get the party started. I will definitely use him again if I have another big event.

I don't even know where to begin! My wedding was 4/7/16. I met Ryan at a bridal show and he was awesome, I told my husband we had to check him out, I was expecting his pricing to be way over priced (like most vendors at bridal shows) but to my surprise he was very reasonable! From the day we signed the contract he was awesome, I was a very picky bride and I wrote down about 20 songs that I wanted played starting from different parts of the song....he didn't complain at all and he made it happen!! My wedding night was all I dreamt it being, people just keep telling how beautiful everything was and how much they enjoyed themselves! They literally didn't want the night to end! Ryan had everyone up on there feet dancing all night (even my grandma) he played something for everyone and it was awesome! He also provided me with uplighting and a gobo which was beautiful!! I wasn't really sure what color I wanted to go with at first so I told him "just make it beautiful" and when I seen my room my heart skipped a beat!! Ryan is phenomenal!!! My husband and I will NEVER use another DJ for any other event!!

Our wedding was on March 17th and it was amazing. The Dj had everyone on the dance floor all night, people are still contacting us about how good the dj was. He was very professional and made sure we were happy. My husband requested an old song and he was able to find it!!! Definitely hire him if you want your guest to party all night long.

This review is long overdue, because Ryan was ***PHENOMENAL*** and I should have been shouting his praises from the mountaintops the very next day!! We had a large (200+ guests) multi-cultural (Jewish & West African) wedding. Ryan kept the floor packed the whole night! Once the reception got started, there was not a moment all evening long where there were fewer than 75 people on the dance floor at any given time. It was crazy! He wore us all out, and we loved it!! :D

Ryan's musical selections pleased a VERY diverse crowd. Somehow he made Hava Nagila, West African music, country music, R&B, pop, and dance music (as well as songs from Game of Thrones, Star Wars and The Legend of Zelda) flow seamlessly together. He's basically like a wizard - for real. He even made some great recommendations and did some impressive improvisations on the fly. Professional, personable and proficient - The R Productions is the way to go!!

I can't say enough great things about Dj Soul (Ryan). He had our wedding on the dance floor from beginning until the very end. We are still getting compliments on how great of a wedding we had and we owe it to our DJ! If you want a professional dj who will have your wedding rocking then search no further! He is the best DJ!!! I can't wait to throw a party so I can hire him again or get invited to another wedding who uses him!

The R Productions for DJ services could be summed up in one word AMAZING! Our dance floor stayed packed and 12 days later everyone is still saying what a great time they had. DJ Soul requested a playlist and really rocked the reception with all our favorite songs. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Awesome DJ! He supplied up-lights and the Gobo for us, as well. Everything was great. He handled the audio between officiant and singer, as if we had rehearsed it. It was seamless. Top notch service, professional attitude, and a jam-packed dance floor! All the qualities you want in a wedding DJ!

If possible, I would rank Ryan a 10 star review. Ryan made my wedding. The most perfect night I could have ever wanted. I was given his info by a friend at work and I trusted their word. Little did I know what a partnership I was getting into. Ryan responded to all my emails in a timely fashion, made my husband feel really comfortable and listened to everything we wanted. He nailed every single detail of the wedding music. He felt the vibe of the crowd and get everyone on the dance floor. He even made us a special mix for our first dance. I wouldn't ask anyone else to dj to my wedding. I feel so lucky to have had him a part of my big day!

We first heard Ryan's music at a work function. We thought he did a great job, and approached him about our wedding. He was very professional, and kept in touch with us up until the time of our event. The day of our wedding, he had everything set up, and was ready to go, well before WE were!! The music was fantastic, and several guests have approached me about Ryan's services. I plan on using him for our music needs in the future.

DJ RYAN was great, he was on time for all meetings that we had. The venue where the wedding and reception was being held had a number of "unusual" rules that neither him nor I really agreed with but he maintained professionalism throughout and just said to me It's cool I'll work with them. He engaged the crowd during the reception, kept everyone on the dance floor all night. At no point was the dance floor empty. DJ Ryan did a fantastic job and not to mention his prices are very reasonable. I will be using his services in the future and would refer him to anyone as a DJ to use for their event.

Ryan arrived in an amazing outfit that not only looked awesome but also for our nautical theme. He had a professional grade setup with excellent speakers and a DJ table that already looked like he was ready to rock out engagement party. And boy did he deliver! Not a single full seat in the house, including the guests over 60! Ryan was all smiles and perception as he picked the right song for each moment while handling announcements of dinner, dessert, dancing etc. Ryan transitioned between music in four languages seamlessly which blew all he guests away and another plus was his excellent dinner music selection in a seperate venue which was just perfect and helped create a wonderful atmosphere for conversation and laughs. I was thrilled to see how happy everyone was during dinner and Ryan's choices definitely helped! Ryan was also flexible as the additional venue was added after our original agreements were concluded. I can go on and on about how lovely Ryan is and how much my guests loved him, but I'll let you find out for yourself. You cannot go wrong with letting Ryan help you plan your fiesta. He's the best!

DJ Soul of The R Productions was an amazing choice for our wedding day. He provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception as well as lighting and gobo for our reception area - it was amazing. His lighting transformed the room. He was a fun, energetic DJ and MC who kept the guest dancing and the crowd engaged. He contacted me periodically throughout the process. He answered questions and was very accommodating. As it got closer to the date and I started forgetting things he emailed/called me. The value and quality of his service was worth more than he charges. He was very affordable - We can not imagine having anyone else for the job.

When it came to the planning process. He was very professional with his organization and contacted me to ensure that he had all the music we requested for our ceremony. He was was very flexible with the last minute change to use a different room for cocktail hour. He also worked with us when we told him we were doing something a little different with cocktail hour and including our introductions and first dance as a surprise during cocktails. His microphones worked perfectly in all areas of the event.

As for the music itself - he said he would give me a party and once he started the music the dance floor was never empty. He played every thing we asked for and even interacted with crowd in such a playful and jovial way that everyone had a fantastic time. If you want a fun, party atmosphere for your wedding or event do not hesitate to contact Dj-Soul of The R Productions. You will not be disappointed.

We were more than pleased with DJ Soul and the R Productions and will use him in the future and recommend him to anyone who is looking for a wedding DJ/MC. He exceeded our expectations in every way possible.

Ryan was the DJ at our elementary school "Prom". Tough job to keep Kindergarten through 5th grade occupied....but he did it! Kids had the BEST time! Music was awesome, Ryan was wonderful and the kids had a BLAST! He was taking selfies with them!!!

Ryan DJ'd our wedding on November 1 and I still hear raving reviews about his music from our guests. Even the other day one of my friends said he was the best DJ she had seen in all the weddings she's gone to. Ryan was so professional and fun to work with from the day we first spoke. He not only offers excellent taste in music, but he can also provide beautiful uplighting as well. He knew that we wanted music in the beginning that would appease all the guests and then flip to hip hop later in the night and that's exactly what he did! There was music that fit everyone's taste!

I would recommend him in a heartbeat and would love to use him again for any big parties in our future!

I have to start my review off by stating Ryan is the best DJ you will find. Ryan was there for my ceremony and reception and he did an excellent job. Not only was he punctual but he was also well prepared. He is a well experienced DJ which is vital to any event especially a wedding. The dance floor was not empty at any point of my wedding. People who never dance were actually on the dance floor cutting a rug. If you want your wedding to be fun, entertaining and professional then you need to book R Productions. I used the r productions for my wedding reception and CEREMONY. I love music and wanted old and young guests to enjoy themselves I was so nervous about hiring a d.j. however, d.j. Ryan was excellent always prompt returning calls and is very professional and easy to work with and has great prices not too expensive. Many of my guest took his card home at the end of the night and kept asking where did you find that d.j. he was great. So kudos to you wedding wire. D.J Ryan you made my day very special. The R Productions was recommended to me by a co worker. From the very first email DJ Soul (Ryan) was very professional and informative. I would definitely recommend ryan's dj services. I had requested 2 sets of music to be included specifically for baby boomers. However, when there was little to no response (by baby boomers) to the first set of music, Ryan automatically took the initiative and went back to playing modern music to keep the party going.

I was going to tell him myself to kill the second set of BB music, but he could see that we needed to switch the music back right away, and did so.

He also arrived, and set up a half hour BEFORE the event. Major plus.

My daughter's graduation party was absolutely perfect! To have a good party, it starts with the DJ. Ryan "DJ Soul" kept everyone on the floor. No one sat down....from the youngest to the oldest. He played something for everyone and kept it clean and dignified while making it a party atmosphere! No one compares to the service he provided. My search for a quality DJ is over. He responded to all my emails and had all the music requested. He had everyone p the dance floor. I had a lot of older ones that were jamming to old school and played songs I requested. I am of Latin/Hispanic background so I requested a lot of spanish music. He definitely brought the party to my event!

They say food and venue makes a wedding special and unique. I beg to differ. The R Production did an awesome job at my weeding 2 years ago. He came highly recommended. The dance floor stayed packed and he gave each age group what they were looking for. He was on time, priced competitively, professional, and entertaining. I would use him over and over again and recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ that knows how to make the crowd happy.

Ryan was great to work with leading up to our wedding. He was always available to talk to and helped with some of the planning (song selection, order of announcements etc.). Our reception was fabulous due in large part to his work ethic and skills. The R Productions will not disappoint.

Ryan helped turn our wedding reception into a lasting memory. He played today's hits and did an excellent job transitioning the music. He was very professional, enthusiastic, and best of all, all of our guests had a wonderful time! I would recommend Ryan to anyone who wants to have an upbeat and awesome reception! :)

Our wedding reception was awesome! My husband and I wanted a party atmosphere and that is exactly what Ryan delivered, it was a true celebration to say the least. The music selection was great! Ryan is a talented DJ and I would request his services for all of my parties and definitely refer him to family and friends. You will not be disappointed, choosing Ryan will insure a great party without a doubt!

When planning a wedding there are a number of things that need your attention. I was happy to know that i didnt have to spend alot of time going over music. He was right on the money with the music selection before, during and after dinner! With a group close to 300 from different backgrounds there was no problems with his music choice selection. Arrived early with a very professional setup and departed in the same fashion. . Two thumbs up!! Would highly recommend Him!!!

The R Productions made my wedding reception, something to remember, my wife, who is the most important lol, was very pleased with how the Dj kept the party flowing and the people dancing. I would recommend his services for any event where you want your guess to really have a good time. Thanks for the memories....

We had a wonderful experience with the R Productions. We had an outdoor wedding on a beautiful day in June, and since it was outdoors two setups were required. One for the ceremony and the other for the reception. Ryan was there early, he was prepared, and made the setup and breakdown seem effortless. Additionally, he played all the songs we wanted, and kept the dance floor packed the whole night. I would highly recommend the R Productions if you want to have a great event with fantastic music!

Ryan is very skilled at understanding the crowd and playing music to keep them on the floor. Very professional and reliable. He also provided uplighting and my event logo in lights on the wall. I hired him 2 consecutive years and was very pleased.

Ryan did a wonderful job with music selection, keeping the crowd dancing and providing an overall good party. Everyone loved the music and it keep me dancing till the end. He was also very professional and delivered great service.
