  Mark definitely knows what he is doing. He was the DJ at my cousin's wedding, which is how I heard of him. He had great suggestions for special songs like the mother/son dance and bouquet toss. I think he played every song I had given him as suggestions for what we listen to. There was always someone on the dance floor, which in my opinion is the best measure of a successful reception!
  He also did all the music for our ceremony and it was seamless. He was very flexible with time and setting, because we got rained on and had to go into the church last minute. I would absolutely recommend Mark for your wedding. Even all the lights were included!

  Mark was AMAZING! We loved how he was willing to play anything we wanted, and that he gave his suggestions when we wanted something that you couldn't dance to. He was great to work with, and I would highly recommend him!

  DJ Mark has been the DJ at 5 of our family's weddings now. He does a great job selecting music that keeps the crowd on the floor dancing all night. We told him the types of music that we liked for different parts of the evening and were very happy with his selections. For the bridal party introductions, we used different songs for each couple and he was extremely accommodating and it turned out great!

  Mark was awesome! He was attentive to our needs and was very flexible in meeting with us. He did both our ceremony music and cocktail hour/reception music and it all turned out beautifully. Mark made most of the song choices as my husband and I are pretty laid-back....the dance floor was packed all night and everyone raved about the music selections! I would hire A Sensation Mobile Music again in a heartbeat for any future parties. You won't be disappointed!

He really knows how to read a crowd and had EVERYONE dancing at our wedding, from the two year olds, teenagers and our friends to our parents and grandparents! It's been nearly a year since our wedding, and all of our wedding guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how awesome the DJ was! I truly did not want the night to end, not only because it was our wedding, but because everyone was having so much fun thanks to Mark!!!

  Everyone was dancing ALL night! You know a DJ is good when people tell you it was a FUN wedding! So many people commented to me after the wedding about how good my DJ was. They commented about the good music selections, the way he kept the wedding moving from one thing to the next, and that he didn't have a "DJ ego" which apparently is a real thing. The day was about me and my husband. Mark was fabulous and made the entire process easy and stress free! He got back to all my communications right away and made diligent notes about everything we discussed. He even helped us creatively trouble shoot a replacement for the dollar dance. We wanted to be able to dance with our guests but didn't want to have to ask for money to do it. Therefore, he came up with the idea of a candy dance. If they danced with us, we rewarded them with a piece of candy (which worked out great considering my husbands HUGE sweet tooth). Mark is professional and you can tell this is something he LOVES to do versus a business. Hands down, great service! My husband agrees!

  Mark was willing to get together multiple times prior to the wedding to discuss the plan for the day. He served as our ceremony DJ as well as our reception DJ, and both went well. He also traveled out of state to DJ our wedding. We were happy with how smooth things went.

  Mark is such an amazing DJ! He was so organized and it was so great to work with him! The music my husband and I are into isn't the typical pop music. We requested a bunch of different songs to be played during the dinner and beginning of reception and he found it all and made sure it was played! He made sure he knew all of our wedding parties names and how to pronounce them. He also took pictures that the photographer didn't get because he left earlier. I was so excited to see these pictures when he posted them on his facebook page! And Mark is also super budget friendly! We went to one of the wedding conventions and got a coupon of sorts from his booth and he was the cheapest we found. But don't think just because he was the cheapest he wasn't the best because he was amazing! I would highly recommend him to anyone! My guests, husband and I had so much fun and it's in part because of him and the great selection of music he played!! Thank you so much Mark! Jasmine & Bobby

I sat down with my MOH, though, and she helped me identify at least some songs with the right "feel". We met with Mark and shared this list with him. He was so easy to work with and helped us think through the parts of our ceremony and reception and what songs we might want for them. He even helped offer a few songs that suited us perfectly! His repertoire (and collection) of music is truly unmatched and he did an absolutely amazing job running with the few songs we provided him.
  
  In the end, our reception turned out to be exactly what we'd hoped for - one amazing party! EVERYONE was dancing all night long and I've had so many friends and family members say that was the best wedding/event they'd been to! I am confident that we have Mark to thank for helping keep the party going and I would absolutely recommend Mark as a wedding DJ!!

  DJ Mark was awesome. I went to a friends wedding and he was DJing and I thought he was great. So for my wedding I knew who I wanted. I couldn't have ask for a better DJ. Everyone was dancing all night. The dance floor was never empty. Thanks Again Mark

  I had Mark DJ for both of my daughter's weddings. Both weddings were very different, but Mark did an excellent job at both, playing all kinds of music and made the evenings flow very smoothly. He did lots of fun songs and children and adults of all ages got out on the dance floor ! We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is having a wedding. His prices were great too !

  Mark did a great job keeping the party moving and playing the right songs at the right times. He played every song we requested and avoided the cliche songs we didn't want. We got many compliments on our music selection and everyone had a great time. Mark did a great job and is an excellent wedding DJ.

The background music during dinner was just what I wanted and he even played some older songs during the dance so that the grandparents could enjoy themselves. He also took care of announcing things throughout the evening which allowed me to relax and enjoy myself on my special day. :)

My wedding was multicultural and Mark did a good mix of music that both sides of the family would enjoy dancing to.   I've been to a bunch of weddings and a good DJ can seriously make or break an wedding, no matter how fancy. Now I know I'm biased, but my wedding was legit the greatest. And DJ Mark Larson was a major contributing factor to its greatness - our dance floor was insane the whole night. Not just a couple of awkward fances where everyone congregates lamely on the floor for the electric slide or the YMCA and then quickly retreats back to their seats... but there was REAL dancing. Everyone, all night, was dancing it up way more than we ever expected because of Mark Larson. He knows how to read a crowd and how to kick any crowd's energy up 100 notches.
  
  He's got whatever kind of music you could possibly dream of. Plus he was fantastic with meeting up with us beforehand to get a feel for what kind of music we wanted and needed. Stuff we hadn't even thought of. He spent time with us to make sure each song for our special dances (father daughter/bouquet toss etc) was perfectly to our liking. He even introduced us to new songs that suited us PERFECTLY (ie... Richard Cheese's rendition of Baby Got Back for the garter toss. He knows us VERY welll : )
  
  If you're having a wedding, and you want it to be lame, don't hire Mark. If you're having a wedding and you want it to be the greatest night of your life for you AND your guests, hire Mark Larson.

  I've been to a bunch of weddings and a good DJ can seriously make or break an wedding, no matter how fancy. Now I know I'm biased, but my wedding was legit the greatest. And DJ Mark Larson was a major contributing factor to its greatness - our dance floor was insane the whole night. Not just a couple of awkward fances where everyone congregates lamely on the floor for the electric slide or the YMCA and then quickly retreats back to their seats... but there was REAL dancing. Everyone, all night, was dancing it up way more than we ever expected because of Mark Larson. He knows how to read a crowd and how to kick any crowd's energy up 100 notches.
  
  He's got whatever kind of music you could possibly dream of. Plus he was fantastic with meeting up with us beforehand to get a feel for what kind of music we wanted and needed. Stuff we hadn't even thought of. He spent time with us to make sure each song for our special dances (father daughter/bouquet toss etc) was perfectly to our liking. He even introduced us to new songs that suited us PERFECTLY (ie... Richard Cheese's rendition of Baby Got Back for the garter toss. He knows us VERY welll : )

  I just saw DJ Mark's other reviews and realized how crazy it must look that he has so many "5" ratings, but I can honestly say that he was an amazing DJ. I could probably go on for a while but will just share a few highlights. 1) We liked him so much that he did my sister's wedding and one of my best friend's weddings 2) He was incredibly professional, responsive, and fun to work with 3) He really listened to what we wanted and didn't just "do his own thing" at the wedding or try to steal the show by talking on the microphone too much 4) We didn't know Mark before, but wouldn't have chosen anyone else to do our DJing!

  It's been nearly four years since my wedding and guests still talk to me about my DJ. Mark was fabulous! He made our reception fun, a real celebration. And, he did what we asked him to do for all of the little events (cake cutting, etc.). So easy to work with. What a find!

  Mark Larson is a fantastic DJ!!! He added to the festive mood to our wedding and had everyone dancing, from the old but young at heart to the young and spirited. If I get married again (and I hope I don't ;) I'll be looking to DJ Mark!

He answered all my questions quickly and made sure he had all the information he needed. Music is one thing that the groom and I disagree on greatly and Mark did great at picking music that we both enjoyed. While our wedding did not have many of the elements that require a DJ to announce things, I do wish he had made a few more announcements throughout the evening (e.g. the photo booth or a notice that our "cutting the cake" element would start in a few minutes). Overall, I'm happy we had Mark at our wedding.
