If you’re looking for a florist for your wedding, I cannot recommend Jackie enough!
From the very beginning, Jackie was quick to respond to all of my messages and was always so kind and accommodating. I think I changed my mind at least three times throughout the planning process, and each time she happily updated everything and quickly provided a new outline based on my vision. She made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable.
On our wedding day, she truly brought my dreams to life. When I first saw my flowers, my jaw literally dropped. Sunflowers are my favorite flower, and Jackie incorporated them so beautifully that I immediately fell in love with every arrangement. Everything was even more stunning than I had imagined.
I am so grateful for all of Jackie’s hard work, creativity, and patience throughout the planning process. She played such a special role in making our wedding day beautiful, and I cannot thank her enough. Highly recommend- stunning florals
Jackie at A Rose is A Rose was incredible to work with, and we could not have been happier with how our wedding florals turned out. I wanted a very simple, elegant look with mostly hydrangeas and baby’s breath, and Jackie brought the vision to life perfectly. She even helped me select different white flowers for each bridesmaid bouquet, which made every arrangement feel unique while still tying everything together beautifully. She also created beautiful boutonnières for the men and corsages for our moms, which added such a special touch to the day.
Everything was set up so beautifully, and Jackie was extremely helpful with repurposing floral arrangements throughout the ceremony and reception. More than a week after our wedding, I still have the flowers around my house that look fresh and vibrant. I also rented votive candles from Jackie, which added so much elegance and warmth to our reception tables. Throughout the entire process, she was kind, communication, extremely talented and full of great suggestions. I HIGHLY recommend A Rose is A Rose florist for any wedding or event florals.

I’ve known and worked with Jackie for many years and I absolutely could not wait to have her do the flowers for our wedding. She is beyond creative and I trusted her completely to take my vision and run with it. She puts such thoughtful touches on all she does and I could not have been happier. Exactly What We Wanted!
Jackie did a fantastic job with the florals for our wedding! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and lasted all day and into the next, so we were able to reuse some for our brunch the next day! Jackie was also wonderful to work with. She asked lots of great questions to ensure she nailed our vision, and she really made the most of our budget, by repurposing flowers from the ceremony to the cocktail area and reception. It was absolutely perfect and I could not recommend Jackie enough for all your floral needs!

Dried Flowers for Fall Wedding
We hired Jackie to do the flowers for our out of state (Maryland) wedding. She was easy to work with and really understood what we were looking for. We went with dried flowers for easy transport (my parents drove them down from New York) and loved how they turned out! We gave her our budget and she worked within it to make beautiful, versatile bouquets (all the bridesmaids bouquets became table centerpieces after the ceremony).

I went in to Jackie's shop with one idea in mind and once she took the time to talk to me, I totally changed my mind. I would have hated my original idea. You always need to see things in person (Pinterest ideas are great until they are right in front of your face). Having a late fall wedding can be a challenge to get the exact flowers you want. Jackie was upfront and honest with me, stating it's a bit late to get Dahlias but she will try. She even went over backup options with me. She surprised me the morning of my wedding delivering beautiful bouquets with dahlias in them. I loved it.

Jackie is an absolute pro. I had a destination wedding and picked A Rose is a Rose based on my venues preferred vendor list. I sent picture boards via Pinterest with Jackie totally nailing all the flowers to put together! I let her take control and ended up with the most perfect Boquet. All the small details around wedding venue room and all suggestions were taken. Jackie even did me a favor and donated all my flowers to the local nursing home the next day upon my request. The florist Ms. Jackie Hull owner of A Rose is a Rose from Cherry Valley, New York does spectacular work. I was amazed how beautifully she designed gorgeous wildflowers for my son and daughter-in- law wedding. It looked like a fairy tale meadow as you entered the reception. Jackie and Her Team Work Magic!!!!!
Jackie was amazing to work with. I sent her inspiration photos (and it was a little all over the place) and she made my vision come to life!! She also provided me with honest feedback, of what she thought looked good and how we could re-purpose. That was so appreciated when I was navigating through it alone and a few states away. She made planning so simple and did not miss a thing, often calling out things that I may have overlooked (such as the entry table that guest would be walking by though out the night!). She ran the show on the wedding day - not needing any guidance or instruction. Our bridal flowers were ready to go in our getting ready room - called out with which was for who - she also remembered things that I didn't want that were standard at the venue and quickly took action to make sure they were not included, even without me having to say anything. She made the day seamless!!!!! I walked into the reception prior to having the guests come in and I was amazed with all of the work her team did! It was so beautiful (I could literally cry thinking about it!). I highly recommend Jackie (and also seeing the reception room prior to it getting filled so you can take in her work!). She is an artist, and I am so thankful that I chose A Rose is A Rose Florist! She also rents other things if you need them (vases, candles, etc.). One stop shop!!!! A cute shop, too, can't wait to go there again! Thank you, Jackie!

She even helped me keep costs affordable and came up with some ideas to re-use some of the ceremony flowers for the reception as well! Jackie was absolutely amazing to work with! From the beginning she was super responsive and completely understood my vision and her quote was at least half the price of other vendors I had reached out. Flowers were something that were very important to me and she nailed it! I was a COVID bride so Jackie was extremely patient with all my follow ups, questions and changes in direction over the 2 years I worked with her. She even gave me advice and tips on the venue itself and created multiple different sample arrangements for me to review throughout planning. I didn't have a wedding planner but had complete confidence Jackie would setup/decorate my venue exactly as I wanted and I was not wrong. Most Wonderful Florist Experience!
Our experience working with Jackie was incredible! With very little information about what I wanted (“please just make it beautiful”), Jackie made our fall wedding dreams come true. Even with a last minute date change AND venue change, she was quick to pivot and reimagine the arrangements to suit the spaces. She is the ultimate professional and her work absolutely transformed the space where we held both our wedding (Farmers’ Museum) and reception (Otesaga). The resounding feedback from our guests, as well as photographers, was that the flowers were unbelievable. They day wouldn’t have been as special without Jackie’s work, and we have already made the 60 mile trip BACK to her shop to pick up arrangements for other events-she is truly THAT incredible, and we simply cannot recommend A Rose Is A Rose enough.

Breathtaking Wedding Florals
I just had the write to thank you again for the incredible wedding flowers. Every single item you sent was perfect. I instantly fell in love with the bouquets. Isabel's was the perfect blend of fall and romance. I loved the boutonnieres! Kennedy's birch basket was so precious! The outdoor flowers with their grasses, pods, and greens were breathtaking. I have never seen dahlias like you used - absolutely gorgeous. The hoop arrangements coordinated with the falling leaves, the colors reflected in the lake, and on the hills. You are magical! And then when they were placed indoors - I was in awe of the whole ballroom. We then took them all home and used them at our Newlywed Party the next day. I will send a few shots of them at that as well - absolutely stunning. Then, when I brought them home, they have been blessing me and my family in every nook and cranny that we could place them.

Amazing florist!
I would highly recommend Jackie to any bride getting married in Cooperstown or nearby. She is talented and is a great listener who helps bring to life what you want for your special day. The Most Beautiful Flowers!
Jackie took my wedding vision and brought it to life well within my budget! Her arrangements were so so beautiful and the colors/flowers were so perfect for my fall wedding! I gave her our color palette and a few sample photos of style I was looking for and she ran with it and truly exceeded my expectations. I sadly had to give away most of the flowers to my guests (though it wasn't hard to give them away!) because I was traveling after the wedding, but the few arrangements I brought with me lasted in my car for a whole week! I 100% recommend Jackie if you're looking for a wonderful, creative, budget-friendly florist for your Cooperstown-area wedding! I'm still so obsessed with these flowers and continue to hear rave reviews from my guests!

Beautiful flowers
We ordered our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and sweetheart table centerpiece from a rose is a rose. She did an amazing job! We did consultations via wedding wire because I live about 2 hours away and she was closer to our venue. She was very accommodating in that aspect. Her prices are VERY reasonable. I'm super happy with how everything turned out. The flowers were beautiful!

Stunning Blooms!

Beautiful floral arrangements
We loved our floral arrangements. The bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids were beautiful and perfect for our color theme. Jackie clearly knew what we wanted and made suggestions to help us make decisions. She was always available for questions and concerns and made sure everything was organized and ready for our big day. It really made me feel confident that everything was taken care of. We used a lot of our arrangements from the church in our reception and Jackie really helped us decorate to the fullest to help us stay on budget and make everything look gorgeous.

These florist were amazing to work with. I gave them a few pictures of what I was imagining and when I received the bouquets I was in total awe of how beautiful crafted they were. All my bridesmaids were in love with theirs too, we spent the first few minutes just photographing them! I would highly recommend working with A Rose is a Rose because they can turn your vision into a better reality than what you imagined. Jackie did the flowers for our November 5 wedding at the Otesaga Hotel and they were absolutely gorgeous! My mom and I met with her in her charming shop on a -5 degree day in February and really enjoyed our consultation, despite the below freezing weather! Jackie is kind and funny and was great at interpreting what I was looking for, even though I don't know much about flowers. She also knew things about our venue we didn't, such as the fact they include votive candles we could incorporate into our centerpieces and which spaces would require certain types of arrangements. The results were better than I could have imagined and Jackie was a delight to work with. Thank you, Jackie!!!!

Jackie was phenomenal and blew me away with the most amazing flowers I had my wedding! Even as a week ahead of time I had made some suggestions and she was able to accommodate all of my thoughts! I sent her photos of what everyone was wearing and she matched and beautifully contrasted the flowers so that they would just look amazing on everyone wearing them! We hosted a brunch on Sunday and requested the flowers to be moved to our branch location and she gladly did it.
My guests complemented me so many times on the beautiful flower arrangements at ceremony site, on the tables & everywhere! I am forever grateful to Jackie and a rose is a rose that helped to make our day so Amazing!

My husband and I planned our autumn wedding in two months. We figured we would have to sacrifice vendor quality to fit in that time frame, but (luckily) we were wrong! Jackie at A Rose is A Rose was not only willing to help us on relatively short notice, but she "knocked it out of the park" with our flowers! We only met with her once in person at her shop to review colors and preferences. (I gave Jackie access to my "Wedding Flowers" pinterest board prior to our meeting, too.) We were pretty flexible and let her run with the few preferences we had. She emailed us photos of samples she made a few days prior to the wedding, and we loved what she created. The day of the wedding, she delivered the bridal parties flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages) to the hotel we were getting ready at, then she delivered the centerpieces and cake decorations to the reception venue. Everything was colorful and included a variety of different flowers - exactly what I wanted! She was professional, friendly, and very talented! Dozens of our guests commented on our beautiful centerpieces and asked for Jackie's contact info after our wedding. Anytime we need to hire a florist for anything, A Rose is A Rose is my go-to now!

The flowers and decorations that Jackie put together for our wedding were stunning! I gave her a slightly ridiculous number of photos showing her the style of flowers that I wanted, she asked some clarifying questions, and then produced the most beautiful bouquets I've ever seen. What first drew me to Jackie was her ability to take my partially developed ideas and turn them into these amazingly well thought out arrangements. When we first met at her shop, she was running around grabbing flowers and throwing together quick sample bouquets and center pieces. It was great to be able to physically see what she was thinking. We went back and forth a bit as I kept changing my mind, and further tweaking things. Jackie was always responsive and receptive to my new ideas. She also had a lot of her own experienced suggestions that really helped bring everything together. When it came to the wedding day, the arrangements she provided were beyond anything I could had envisioned! Jackie was prompt and set everything up beautifully. Jackie is great at A rose is a rose! I met with her a few times, showed her what I was looking for, for my outdoor country wedding and the flowers were perfect. I also did two wreathes for my flower girls and they were awesome. I couldn't have been happier with my flowers. Thanks again Jackie!

You can stop your hunt for a florist now...Jackie is the best! I live out of town and so we did most of the planning via email. She understood my theme almost immediately and we worked together until all the small details were right. When the day of the wedding came I was amazed at how she nailed everything: bouquets, centerpieces, large arrangements on my tent poles, etc. It was all exactly as I had envisioned.

Jackie is fantastic! She is organized, creative, fun, supportive and incredibly well-priced. All the guests loved the decor and thought the flower arrangements were beautiful! She knows the wedding sites and has wonderful ideas to best light/decorate the space. I highly recommend her!

Jackie is a wonderful florist!! I know next to nothing about flowers so Jackie took my fall wedding idea and made it come true!!!! The colors she chose were beautiful!!! The center pieces were amazing and what she did with the arbor we made was STUNNING!!!! I highly recommend A Rose is a Rose for your wedding!!!!!

I LOVED Jackie from A Rose is a Rose florist. I can't say enough positive things about her or the flowers for our wedding. Jackie was more than a florist sometimes too, she was so kind, and listened to all of my concerns, and not just about the flowers! Jackie worked well within my budget, was available whenever I needed her assistance or wanted to run ideas by her, and she was able to take my general ideas about what I wanted into a specific picture of a classic wedding with a country feel to it.

Jackie was extremely professional and easy to work with! She gave us an extremely reasonable quote for the flowers for our wedding, and when I asked her to cut it back another $1,000, she was able to meet our budget and still give us beautiful flowers!
Jackie was also very responsive and flexible! Whenever I sent her an email or called, I would usually have a response from Jackie that same day.
Overall, we were extremely pleased with the bouquets, boutonnières, and all of the other floral arrangements at our wedding!

We used A rose is a rose florist for our wedding on May 28 and were very happy with them! Jackie was very helpful, responsive to emails, open to suggestions, and gave us lots of advice. She worked with our budget and was able to provide us beautiful flowers for the church and entire wedding party at a very reasonable rate! We definitely recommend her for any weddings or special events in the area. She helped make our wedding bright and beautiful :)

Jackie is such an incredible professional. She comes to the table with lots of ideas, and an excitement to figure out what your vision is. She is also really flexible, as I decided to change the whole theme to my wedding and it didn't phase her a bit! Thunderstorms on your wedding day? She didn't bat an eyelash. She was a joy to work with because she loves what she does! My guests were blown away with her flowers and I fielded questions all night about whether they could take them home. Even the people who worked at the venue asked if they could "steal" some! I wished Jackie's flowers lasted forever because they brought happiness to everyone!

Jackie was so easy and fun to work with. The bouquets and bouts we got arrived on time and were absolutely stunning. She totally heard our vision and made it come to life. I cried when she handed me my wedding bouquet, it was so beautiful. She also created an incredible floral display for our ceremony arch that blew us all away. Our guests took photos under it all night because it was just gorgeous!
Jackie has a great sense of humor and really put me at ease throughout the entire process, reassuring us that everything was going to be perfect, and it was!
The only tiiiiny misstep was that my mom had brought Jackie her wedding veil with stunning lace to be wrapped around my bouquet as a surprise for me. The flowers were delivered without it, and through the bouquet stems were wrapped in the manner that I had originally requested, my mom was a little sad that not only did her surprise not work out, but she also didn't know where her veil was. She has since called and it was safe at the shop.
That being said, we remain thrilled that we hired Jackie for our wedding, and grateful for the services she provided. She was an integral part of making our wedding day so beautiful.

My wedding flowers were exactly what I had envisioned. Jackie took my rustic visions and turned them into gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces. It is three days after my wedding and the centerpieces still look beautiful, I have them all over my house. Thanks again, Jackie!

Jackie was great to work with. I shared my vision with her and she executed above and beyond. My husband and I both grew up on dairy farms and we wanted to use old glass milk bottles for our decorations. We dropped them off to Jackie and she worked her magic. Everything came out so beautiful. I would highly recommend Jackie for her creativity and quality of work!

Flowered Romance that will NOT Disappoint
Jackie is so knowledgeable and an absolute delight to work with, so down to Earth! The moving parts of your wedding coming together can be stressful and with A Rose is a Rose there wasn't any question in my mind that Jackie would deliver with some romantic flower eye candy. She stayed in my budget, was responsive, and extremely flexible amid planning during a 2020 wedding. Jackie nailed it!

"The most beautiful wedding bouquet I've ever seen!"
Jackie's shop is a MUST HAVE for any wedding in the area. From start to finish, she helped my wedding to be perfect! I came in with no ideas but wanting something really unique and that matched my dress. Through chatting about options and exploring different colors and textures, we landed on something truly inspiring and different that we hadn't seen anywhere else. I had decided I wanted a bouquet without any flowers - just greenery and lavender - and WOW did Jackie deliver. My cascading bouquet was to die for - I received so many compliments on its perfection, its wow factor, and its uniqueness. The bridesmaids bouquets were also stunning - simple, but definitely made a statement. And finally, Jackie made the cutest little wreath/headpiece for the flower girl. The whole experience was awesome and I can't recommend anyone else except Jackie!

Jackie was great to work with for our wedding held at The Otesaga in Cooperstown, NY! I had a woodland fairytale vision for our wedding, she was able to envision exactly what I wanted, and executed it beautifully. She allowed me to use my own vases to cut costs and she incorporated the DIY projects my mom and I created. I am not to familiar with flower types so I explained to her I wanted texture, vibrant colour, and showed her a few pictures. The flowers were better than expected, better than the flowers in the pictures I showed her. Jackie is very creative, friendly, and so easy to work with. I planned our wedding miles away in Toronto where we live and Jackie was always just a phone call away to reassure me that the vision I had would come to life. I changed ideas slightly through the planning and she adjusted so well, keeping my flower quote up to date. She was very affordable for the quality of work you receive. I can't thank her enough, and would highly recommend her to future brides!

We hired A Rose is A Rose for our 9/5/21 wedding at the Otesaga. We were happy with the flowers. They were all great quality and really beautiful. Jackie brought my vision to life! I would have liked for communication to have been a little better, but I understand that it's very busy. One of the best things is how well Jackie knew the staff and the space at our venue (Otesaga). Made for a very easy day.

From the start, my experience with Jackie was wonderful. She asked for pictures of the types of flowers that I liked and styles of bouquets that I preferred. She gave me a very reasonable quote and was willing to adjust it with the several changes I asked for. She did a lovely job of decorating the wedding venue and the flower arrangements were beautiful...my photographer (who photographs at least one wedding each weekend) exclaimed that my bouquet was the most beautiful she has seen! The only negative thing I would say is that there were a few flowers that I asked not be included in the bouquet and they were included, but it looked so nice, I didn't care. Overall, it was a great experience with A Rose is a Rose; you will not be disappointed.
