    Phenomenal

    We had our wedding September 16th 2022 at Pat’s Peak in Henniker, NH and let me just say I could not had ever DREAMED of a more incredible person to capture our day through photo! Robert and his team are PHENOMENAL and understood everything we wanted and how we wanted it! For me, it was like telepathy because he really got to know us and asked us exactly what we wanted. He has so much experience and many great ideas. If you are looking for a photographer for any event , your search is over !

    Very professional, easy to work with, the wedding photos are just amazing and as I review them over and over they still bring tears to my eyes..........that truly is capturing these precious moments

    Robert was exceptional. He is a great guy, friendly and easy to work with. He is very professional and knowledgeable about photography and the best shots. Getting to know him at the engagement shoot really took my nerves away for wedding day. His photos truly are artwork and it made us feel so special to be presented in such a light.

    Robert was a great photographer to work with. He was very warm hearted and really understood the vision of our offbeat wedding. He responded very quickly to all of our questions, was very accomodating to our needs, and the photos are Ahhhmazing :)

    Robert is an amazing photographer and takes BEAUTIFUL photos! He is fun and upbeat while remaining very professional. Has a keen eye and knows how to get the best shot possible. I would definitely recommend Robert as your wedding photographer! :)

    As someone who truly dislikes getting their photo taken, finding a photographer for your wedding is a daunting task! Luckily, I found Robert through my sister, who also used him for her wedding and we could not recommend him enough. Robert was super flexible and easy to communicate with both leading up to and on the day of our wedding as well as following it to order some of his fantastic shots. He listened to what made us feel most comfortable and understood the "look" we were going for on our wedding day while also being able to put his creative spin on it. His sense of humor will keep you laughing and while I cannot say I will ever enjoy my picture being taken, I can say it was well worth the time and money to be able to forever have the beautiful moments Robert was able to capture on our big day.

    Robert Ortiz was amazing I totally loved my photos, he was so kind and professional. He was the best photographer someone could have. And Danny was so nice and kind to everybody! My husband didn't want to have a photographer at his room but at the end he didn't even notice Danny was there!! Both of them were so friendly and appropriate to the occasion and place!

    hello. my name is Kelly and Robert came to the hospital very late in the evening to photograph my niece Willow who was still born. he was the most sincere and helpful man I've met in my life. he made the situation lighten with his presence. I would highly recommend Robert helping others in such a situation and also photographing your wedding.

    Robert was an amazing photographer who truly made our day special with all of the photos we now have! Robert was with us throughout the entire wedding and never missed a beat! He took amazing photos of our entire wedding party and families, and would check in with us throughout the night!

    Robert was awesome to work with. We did an engagement shoot and he immediately made us feel comfortable. The pictures we got were amazing, and we couldn't wait to have him photograph our wedding. He was on time, professional, and efficient. He was able to capture details as well as lots of action, and kept up with the same level of energy and enthusiasm the entire night. We ended up having him stay a little later, and we were able to get some more large group shots of our families and college friends. By the end of the night he felt more like a friend than a vendor. It was great to work with someone who enjoyed our wedding almost as much as we did.

    Robert was wonderful, we got so many photos and so quickly! The way he captures light is lovely and he's got a very friendly and outgoing personality. I am thrilled to have such a great set of photographs to remember our day by and I know I'll go back and look at them a million times. His second shooter Jessica is hilarious and does a fantastic job. We loved them both and their results! Definitely a great investment!

    I will start by saying, Robert was born to be a wedding photographer. He is a ball of energy who knows how to capture the essence of special moments...as well as manage outgoing personalities. Not only that, but his eye for composition is fantastic.

    As a graphic designer, it was really important that I find a photographer who knew good design. It was also important that they give me the digital files and rights to reproduce the images. Robert did both of these things. As a matter of fact, I had all 1500 pictures mailed to me within 3 weeks of our wedding!

    He is honest, hard working and truly cares about capturing the emotions, reactions and details of your event. I can wholeheartedly recommend Robert to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer.

    Robert shot my fall wedding and I was thrilled with the results. Prior to the wedding we met with Robert several times so he would understand what type of shots we were looking for. He also had us meet up for an engagement photo session. Although my fiancé and I initially did not feel this was needed, it was included in our package deal and the session really encouraged us to feel more relaxed for the camera. Robert put us at ease, especially as we normally do not enjoy posing for anything.
    Robert was very unobtrusive during the wedding ceremony. We never even noticed he was there. Throughout the reception he caught many unscripted, joyous moments. Looking back through the pictures, I was pleased to see that he shot many items that we initially deemed insignificant, such as flower arrangements and the dessert table. I realized that I had never really taken notice of them at the time, and was glad someone had captured them on film.
    Our discs of photos arrived quickly after the wedding. We were extremely impressed with the quality of them and the way he used the light in certain shots. We are looking forward to choosing some to put in our photo book. We would definitely recommend Mr. Ortiz are thankful for the energy and passion he put into our wedding.

    robert and danny came down from nh for our wedding, and we are so happy they did!! they were very professional, and the photos came out amazing! photojournalistic meshed with classic pics. they really know what they're doing, and they're really great people! so happy with everything. they weren't cheap, but really quite affordable, especially given the quality of service and photos they provided. would definitely recommend robert ortiz photography!!!

    I couldn't be more happy with our wedding photographer Robert. He was helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the planning process. He met with my husband and I several times in person before the wedding and was also very available over the phone. Furthermore, the photos he took are beautiful. He truly has a talent for photography. We have had numerous compliments from our guests about how great he was to work with and how lovely the pictures are. I would definitely recommend choosing Robert as your wedding photographer.

    Robert was the perfect photographer for us! We had our engagement shoot with him, where we had our crazy puppy with us and Robertwas great at incorporating the dog and putting up with all of his antics! He was willing to go the extra mile to get the perfect photo, climbing on rocks, leaning over rushing waters, and crouching on the ground. We loved all of our photos from the engagement shoot. The day of the wedding Robert showed up early, stayed a little late, and took amazing photos! I barely noticed him throughout the night, but all of his photos captured every moment that was important to us. He arrived in one town to get photos of me and the girls getting ready, drove to another town to take first look photos in the rain, and then drove to the another town to capture the wedding! All the photos we receive back are incredible, he did a phenomenal job posing all of our guests but also getting candid shots. My husband and him really got along as they are both foodies and I love the Yankees, so conversations always seemed easy. Would definitely recommend Robert to any high energy couples looking for incredible photos!

    If you book this vendor expect that you SHALL enjoy:
    - A wide array of lovely photos from your engagement photo shoot,
    - Invaluable moments from your wedding day that will make you smile (laugh and cry!) all over again.

    If you book this vendor expect to be:
    - Stressed. This self-described "zany" photographer will send you his wedding questionnaire the same week as your wedding, then proceed to ignore or forget to document key elements of your special day that you outlined in your meetings and the questionnaire. (Key elements liiiiike photographs with grandparents, a traditional photo with your new spouse, and photographs of loved ones who have passed away.)
    - Indignant (or Livid). Two weeks before the wedding, he'll request a meeting at his studio (which was close to 2 hours away for my husband and me) and he will be unwilling to meet at a more convenient equidistant spot. Why? Because he will - unprofessionally - talk politics with you for over an hour and try to hustle you to purchase similar albums, canvas prints, etc. that decorate his studio. Don't go. There's no need.
    - Disappointed. If you're having an evening wedding, expect that (a week before bells chime) he'll ask you to select a member of your bridal party - or one of your guests - to hold some of his lighting equipment for him during cocktail hour. When you (hopefully!) refuse, anticipate an ornery reply.
    - Exasperated. At the wedding, expect that he will forget your name, harass your guests, and aggravate your wedding coordinator. After the wedding, expect that he will try to nickel and dime you (if you've selected albums for him to arrange), and anticipate his not-so-gentle reminders that he "worked hard to make your day special." (I mean, I should hope that he did...because that's the nature of the gig, right?)

    Whenever you're about to select a vendor, ask yourself: Is this someone I want to do business with?

    I am very sorry we couldn't make Theresa (Terry) happy and we truly feel we worked hard at making their day special. We have been in business for 13 years and there are dozens of clients that loved the experience with us through out the years. There were many misunderstandings with her. We don't consider ourselves "Traditional" photographers and we have an in-depth explanation on our website how we work and what we expect from the clients we service. In order to receive the images viewed on our website, all our clients have always helped us help them to get the images they wanted. One example of this would be using a wedding party member to hold our soft box (10-15 mins), this is common practice verified by other photographers in the area and I have even photographed guests helping at weddings and have displayed them on our blog. Guests always cheerfully helped out knowing it will benefit the bride and groom. We also wait till a few weeks before the wedding to send the questionnaire to make sure we have received current info. Terry never filled out the "detail" section of the questionnaire, no details given. Since we value communicating with our client, its important that all brides and grooms make an effort for our last meeting. This is where we discuss, lol, and yes, maybe a little politics, the important details of the wedding day including album choices. I have also worked at this venue before and never had an issue with the wedding coordinator, it is a team effort between us and all the vendors together to give our client a great experience. We are very apologetic for not making better connections with her but we have had many brides who hired us just for our "UNTRADITIONAL" and "UNCONVENTIONAL" photographic approach.     Quality and style of photos are great. Details and candid moments were captured perfectly. Received images on DVD shortly after wedding.
    Summary of issues:
    Poor communication. Package included proof books that were unavailable when I sent the list of photos. Vendor said he would look for new books. 3 months later I bought some and was issued a partial refund for the hassle (6 months later). We were told 3 times in 4 months the list of photos was being sent for printing. We finally received the proofs 8 months after our wedding after multiple inquiries.
    Received video in 4 months with incorrect date (IMPORTANT). Told it was an easy fix. I asked for all the raw footage (received in 1 month). 4 months later we were told video was lost due to hard drive crash. Beyond his control but if fixed MONTHS earlier wouldn’t matter. Luckily I had the raw footage and we finally received a video 9 months post-wedding! We regret having a videographer due to the hassle and poor video (can’t see our vows (see best man’s back – MOVE so you can see!) and our first dance is chopped up).
    The whole situation was handled poorly. Blown off for other weddings with false offers of wedding album, canvas print and partial money back for video. Promised compensation for the hassle but when I inquired about what was needed for an album was told that our contract was complete. Extremely unprofessional and rude!

    Response to Vendor: 1. If things were done in a timely manner there would have been NO problems. 2. Our priest had no limitations and there are multiple vantage points of the ceremony in the video so that excuse is an outright lie. 3. Video turnaround also false. I waited for a new drive to copy the raw footage and waited 6 days to get a new video (12/4-12/10). 4. Refused a phone call ONCE after having a full conversation and finding it unnecessary. I asked if photo #s were needed for compensation and was told the contract was complete and I would not be getting anything additional.

    I understand Mandi is unhappy as she has edited and added to her review multiple times. I do empathize with Mandi and understand her frustration. We had a few problems with our vendors delivering product. General Products, our proofing album supplier, went out of business. Before sending a low quality replacement, we wanted to make sure no one made another similar in quality. Once we verified there were no replacements we sent Mandi a refund check for the cost of the books. Since quality proofing books are not available any more, we have removed this option from our list of services. We did have an unusual power surge in our new studio which damaged our archived work. We did tell Mandi three days after it happened hoping we could revive the drive once again. At that point we told her we would redo her wedding disk at N/C, we would just need the original files sent back. As a result of this happening, we have contracted a company for us to upload all our raw files to as back up. We also had problems with the lab that was printing our proofs. Unfortunately they lost the order several times. Since then, we have discontinued using their services and have 2 new labs. Any clients wanting to know the name of the lab can contact us directly.

    Due to a power surge in our studio, our archival back up drive was lost. We did inform Mandi Immediately, it took us three days to verify the drive was lost. I am glad that upon signing the contract she inquired if she could have the back up video files. I let her know I would be willing to send her the files all along. As a result of this situation, we will be offering our clients the option of receiving the raw files as part of their video package. Two days after we received her original files in the mail, we reworked her new
    video and she received the corrected disk two days later, shipped priority mail. Shipping log is available to view upon request. Mandi was one of our first video clients and our video department has been improved over time in may ways. Soon after her wedding, we did purchase a second video camera that is being used to capture a second point of view. This has eliminated the possibilities of brides having wedding party members block them from the camera’s view. We also have purchased new wireless microphones to improve the sound quality. We now have a new team of videographers that have joined our staff as well. We do stand behind our work and always offer compensation for any brides who’s expectations we have not been met. During the time we were working to resolve her issues, we needed to contact her over the phone to discuss with her options. She didn’t allowed us to talk over the phone, only through instant messaging. I apologize for any misunderstandings we had in communicating through the internet, it’s always been our policy to solve issues over the phone to eliminate misinformation. We did offer her several forms of compensation for all that happened early on. We will still give her a free wedding album as promised, Mandi never has gotten back with us the numbers of the prints she would like me to include in her album. We also need the print number of the image she would like for free canvas prints. I have other forms of compensation but I need her to phone me to discuss these. I invite any future brides to come to the studio to see what our videography department can offer them for themselves. We do have many videography clients that are have been very happy with our video department and are willing to talk to future clients as testimonials.
