Excellent service and BEAUTIFUL tasty desserts!!

Laurie did great work for my daughters wedding. She not only did the cake but also made amazing cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies. She got the big order to the reception and had it all set up in no time! Thank you Laurie!!

Everyone raved about the cake and mini cupcakes!

Everyone raved about the cake and mini cupcake variety - even well after the wedding! Everything was so delicious. Laurie takes pride in her work, and it shows in her preparation, attention to details and customer service. It was impressive how Laurie took the time to put together a beautiful display and ensure that everything was in place before the wedding. I look forward to hiring Laurie for other family events.

Loved my cake

My cake was amazing. We designed it together and Laurie gave me great suggestions. My colors were champagne and red. And the design was elegant and beautiful. We ordered three flavors of cake, chocolatey chocolate, carrot cake and vanilla. All three flavors were delicious. Moist, but not too sweet.

Gorgeous and delicious cake

We hired Laurie to create a three tier wedding cake for our daughter’s wedding at Sunken Gardens. Laurie was great to work with. She was able to provide some great choices for our tasting based on our flavor preferences.

The wedding cake was beautiful as well as delicious! We chose gold leaf and fresh orchids that had to be added at the venue. Laurie was able to put those finishing touches on the cake before the reception. Thank you!

This vendor delivered.

This vendor DELIVERED. We visited several popular cake studios and bakeries and found that this was a place for us. We ordered our wedding cake from here and from the moment we walked in, the store was clean, classy and had a wonderful cake tasting experience. After selecting our options, which were very tasty, next was our design. We had something special in mind and Laurie made several wonderful suggestions, but in the end we ultimately wanted exact replica of what we envisioned. We picked up the flowers from a different site I gave Laurie a drawing of what we wanted and right down to the brushstroke she got exact. I was astounded. We will definitely go back for any cake needs that we have in the future!

Beautiful and Delicious Wedding cake!

Laurie was amazing from the moment we met her at the cake tasting! She was so pleasant and down to earth! We instantly fell in love her her cakes and treats! Not only does it look beautiful but tastes Delicious! We got 3 different flavors of cake and filling in our wedding cakes and each one was perfect! Our guests enjoyed every last slice of it! Amazing!

Laurie is amazing!! For our wedding, we ordered a dessert bar with chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels dipped in chocolate, donuts, brownie shooters and cupcakes as well as our wedding cake. It was all phenomenal! I cant even begin to count how many compliments we got on not only the taste of the desserts and wedding cake but on the actual display itself! Laurie always responded to my emails and calls quickly and answered all my questions. She was able to take the wedding colors and decorate all of the desserts and create such a beautiful display! The taste of everything was delicious! We definitely recommend A Piece of Cake & Desserts!

Beautiful cake and so yummy!

We wanted a beach theme wedding cake and we got exactly what we asked for and then some! Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! It was also so delicious! The whole process was easy and Laurie was fantastic to work with! Also, her prices are more than fair! I would 100% recommend A Piece of Cake & Desserts to anyone looking!

Centerpiece of the wedding

Our wedding cake was the most delicious I’d ever had. We wanted edible decorations, and Laurie and her team covered it in macarons and chocolate-dipped Oreos. We got a ton of compliments and it looked gorgeous!

Stunning wedding cake

The first time we met Laurie, we sat down and she drew what our vision was for our wedding cake. I cannot say enough how amazing she is because we were blown away by how stunning our cake was! We didn't even want to cut it...it was like a masterpiece. I would highly recommend having Laurie create your wedding cake..a million times over!!!

Amazing!!! I had hired one baker to do a bride and groom cake and then a ton of mini desserts but unfortunately they closed their shop a month and a half before my wedding. I was so relieved when I found this baker because they were the only one to answer any of my calls or emails about a last minute wedding cake and desserts. Life saver! Everything was delicious and all of the dessert that was not eaten we boxed up and ate the next day and it was just as good! Cant thank Laurie enough for all of her help and delicious treats! Would recommend this baker to anyone in a heartbeat!

Laurie was great to work with from beginning to end. I was a long distance bride so we did a lot of emailing back and forth. She answered emails promptly. We flew down to Florida 7 months before the wedding for the cake testing and some other wedding stuff. When we went for the cake tasting she had everything ready for us and gave us some great ideas to enhance the cake that we wanted. It was also great that we were able to have my mom and aunt there to taste the different cake flavors. With a 7 month time difference from the cake tasting to the day of, the cake was exactly what we had agreed upon. Our cake had two different flavors, Raspberry swirl with pink champagne butter cream and chocolate cake with cookies & cream buttercream. Both were delicious. She was very accommodating with changes, especially when we needed to add a sheet cake a month before the wedding. We had nothing but compliments about the cake from our wedding guests.

Like I mentioned in another review, our cake was stunning! The taste is amazing and the fondant is perfect! I tried both the middle/top layer and it tastes incredible! I highly recommend Laurie to create your dream cake!

Laurie was great from the start with our cake tasting. We were able to mix and match flavors. We chose vanilla bean cake with strawberry marmalade mixed in vanilla buttercream and our second flavor was amaretto cake with amaretto buttercream. Both were delicious. She made sugar flowers that cascaded down our cake that matched with our centerpieces. Our cake was beautiful and delicious. It arrived without any problems. Laurie was great with responding to emails and keeping in contact. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a wedding cake. Overall, a great tasting and cake for our wedding day. We are so happy we chose Piece of Cake to make our wedding cake. Laurie is very personable and really took her time during our tasting to make sure we loved the flavors we chose and our design. She custom designed a cake to match our blush, gold, and ivory theme and it was picture perfect! She also offers a wide variety of cake and filling flavors, there is no way you won’t find something you love and it is great quality and delicious. Piece of Cake also offers flavored popcorn in tons of different flavors. You can opt either to have them host a popcorn bar at you event that your guests can visit and take home some treats or get small packages made up to give as favors. We got small packages of a mix of cheddar and caramel popcorn as favors and our guests loved it. Lauri even made custom labels for them with our names and a message “thanks for popping by.” They were so cute!

I was not an easy person to work with given I am fairly OCD in terms of straight lines and attention to detail. Laurie went WAY above and beyond on both our grooms cake and wedding cake and at the last minute, a kids set up with cupcakes and cake pops etc. People were asking for more and more and were saying how amazing our cake(s) looked and were presented (and tasted!). For me specifically, the lines were flawless and hit the nail on the head with what I was expecting. And I was the groom! Laurie did an absolutely amazing job and will be using her for future orders for birthdays and events. She worked with us with our budget and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of for the price. Simply put, there is not anyone else I would turn too or mention when it comes to cakes in the Tampa area.

I'm so grateful that I found A Piece of Cake & Desserts! Laurie was such a pleasure to work with, was very responsive to all emails I sent, and is a wonderful decorator and a from scratch baker. You cannot get this quality anywhere, and I'm so happy she made my absolutely stunning (and crazy delicious) wedding cake; our guests wanted seconds! I found Piece of Cake through weddingwire and after scrolling through pictures of cakes and dessert bars, we had to try! I emailed Laurie and got an immediate response! My husband and I booked a tasting a fell in LOVE! We didn't bother following up with other emails from other vendors we had also looked into. Laurie's cakes at Piece of Cake are to die for! She went above and beyond for us, she even incorporated our favorite wine into our wedding cake. Our guests loved it and all of the delicious items we added to our dessert bar. We couldn't have been more happy with Piece of Cake and I would recommend it to everyone! Go to a tasting a see for yourself!

We used piece of cake for our wedding cake as well as our popcorn bar. She did a phenomenal job with our cake, it was beautiful and everything we asked for! The popcorn bar was such a success, that my family members raved about the popcorn and ate it all the next day as well. Definitely check out Piece of Cake if you are near the Tampa Bay area!

I had the pleasure of working with Laurie at A Piece of Cake for my wedding cake. I showed her my idea for the cake and she nailed it. It was not only beautiful, but was delicious. This was an outdoor wedding and we were concerned about how hot it was going to be, but not Laurie. She knew what to do with the cake so the icing wouldn't melt and knew when to bring the cake. She takes pride in her work and she cares.

Laurie was so much fun to work with! My fiance is not big on desserts, so he really was not too excited about picking out a cake for our wedding. However, during our tasting he could not get enough of the cake! I knew right then and there, this was the place for us. Laurie really captured our vision of the cake and made it our own. We were completely thrilled with it, as soon as we saw it! Then the taste? No question, one of the best cakes I have ever had. If you are deciding on a cake for any event, I suggest A Piece of Cake! We have gotten so many of our guest asking us what the flavors of our cake were and where we got it from! We got the red velvet & cookies and creme flavors! They were both so amazing and fresh! Plus, we had multiple people have second pieces! Thanks again to Laurie for really nailing our cake!

We received our cake from A Piece of Cake and Desserts as an all-inclusive package with our caterer, and I am so so glad we did!! The cake was stunning and perfect! And it tasted wonderful! She listened to all my requests and was extremely accommodating!! She also offers to bake you a small cake for free for your one year anniversary, so that you don't have to eat old, frozen cake. Highly recommend!

Working with Laurie was an absolute pleasure. Ill admit I first went to Publix for a tasting but I quickly realized that unless you want their predesigned cookie cutter options, they cannot and will not do much as far as design goes. A Piece of Cake was exactly the opposite experience. Laurie went above and beyond to make a creative, beautiful and yes DELICIOUS wedding cake that went along with our wedding's theme (and the bride's personality) perfectly. I cannot recommend her enough, delivery was seamless, everybody loved the cake.

A Piece of Cake and Dessert was the best choice for our wedding cake. We couldn't be happier about choosing them for our special day. Our cake looked and tasted AMAZING, just how we envision it. Our guest couldn't stop talking about the cake and the different flavors. The shop is really cute and it makes you enjoy the whole experience. Laurie is an amazing baker and the owner so she really makes sure her clients get what they want. I must say that out of all the bakeries we visited, she was the most creative and the best price in Tampa. This was an easy pick. I absolutely recommend her for your wedding cake!!! :)

A piece of cake & desserts made both our wedding cake and grooms cake. We had the grooms cake made as a gluten free cake to accommodate our eating preferences as well as guest with gluten intolerance. BEST GLUTEN FREE CAKE EVER!!!! I have had many gluten free cakes and this is one that people would not know is gluten free if they were not told.

The Wedding cake was also beautiful and tasty. Great to work with.

Laurie was amazing, had great suggestions and the cake tasting was excellent. Her cake is moist and I look forward to seeing our finished blue velvet cake. UPDATE: our cake was amazing! If only the hotel had not allowed one of my full tiers to sit in our room instead of a refrigerator, I would have had some to take home :( ALL of my guest raved about the cake and popcorn. Suzanne and Laurie were both great to work with. Our cake tasting was a lot of fun and stress free. They were both very personable which made the whole process that much easier. They had a great selection of different flavors to choose from. Our favorite was the vanilla pink champagne. Which we chose. Day of the wedding the cake looked amazing and tasted great. I live in California and my niece who was getting married lives in Iowa, but wanted to get married at Clearwater Beach in Florida. She and her parents didn't have any money, so my other sister and sister-in-law and I decided to give her a reception. So... long distance everything! Of course the cake is one of the most important things in a reception, so I went online to research. I sent quote requests to four different bakeries, and A Piece of Cake not only had great prices, but seemed genuinely excited to get involved in the chaos! Since I was working with lots of suggestions from family members, I ended up having to change what we wanted to order 4 or 5 different times. Suzanne and Laurie were so great about giving out new quotes each time, and very willing to give suggestions as to pairings of flavors and frosting. We ended up getting a small cake and two kinds of cupcakes, and had them delivered to the venue. They were beautiful! We had many guests come up to us and tell us that the cupcakes were the best they had ever tasted at a wedding. We were so excited that there were extra so we could take them, and they were just as delicious the next couple of days! We ended up going to two other weddings this fall for our nephews (in California), and all agreed that we had had the best tasting cupcakes! Great experience, nice people, wish A Piece of Cake was in California!

We worked with Laurie when designing our wedding cake and I am so glad we went with this company. I knew absolutely nothing about cakes and she took the time to sit down and explain everything to us. Easy to work with and responded quickly to emails. The cost per serving was really affordable and adding on embellishments to cake, like sugar flowers, was too! We had a beautiful 3-tier cake and it didn't break the bank. The buttercream cake was so good that we didn't have any left over! We also rented a gorgeous gold metallic cake stand from the vendor as well so it was all from one place.

I am so excited to use Laurie / A Piece of Cake for our wedding in February. However, I have utilized her services for a few events leading up to the wedding. As a part of a volunteer role, I host birthday parties for children in foster care and Laurie has created some beautiful cakes for these kids. She also designed a cake for National Adoption Day (11/21/14) that was huge (a sheet cake to feed 200)... she was on time and the families absolutely loved it! I would use Laurie for any occasion and can't wait to taste our wedding cake this February.

Laurie at A Piece of Cake made a delicious and pretty small cutting cake and a croquembouche (cream puff tree) for my wedding. The cake was exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price, and was very tasty. She also made my somewhat rare desire for a croquembouche a reality, as she was one of the few Tampa area bakers who would make one. The guests loved this unique dessert and it tasted great! Laurie was also flexible and patient with some of the changes I wanted, and even agreed to meet us closer to our venue so we didn't have to drive all the way to her shop. Overall, I would highly recommend A Piece of Cake!

Laurie made an ivory vintage cake for our Spanish Villa themed wedding. Not only was it the most beautiful but it was the best tasting cake I have every had in my life. I am so glad we went with A Piece of Cake for our wedding cake! Laurie had tons of pictures and ideas that we could look through when we visited with her. She also looked at photos that I brought in of ideas of what I wanted my cake to look like. The cake tasting was great; we decided on the almond flavoring and it was AMAZING!

I first saw the finished cake when I walked into the reception and I loved it! The sugar flowers were beautiful and I loved that our turquoise color was incorporated into the cake. Our guests at the wedding kept complimenting us on the cake and how good it tasted! It was DELICIOUS! I can't wait to have Laurie recreate the top tier of our cake for our 1 year anniversary in February 2015!

Excellent service, product exceeded my expectation. I gave my mom a 80th red carpet birthday party. I chose the wedding package, because my mom never had a wedding.since I am from new jersey...I looked up bakeries in tampa., since that is where the part was bein held. I looked at reviews, and I decided to give piece of cake a chance. I am glad I judged her based on the caring attitude on the phone. Laurie took an interest in my mom party as though it was her own mom, he had never meet me, just the phone and e/mail. she invited me to come to tampa, and check out what she was offering, so I flew to tampa, and was greeted with a hug. smile and she explained what she would do for me. she listen, took notes, and went over what we discussed. her office was very inviting, clean...and she had lots of empathy for what I was doing. I just got married this passed Saturday & I must say that I was blown away with how beautiful & DELICIOUS our wedding cake was! I have had wedding cakes before and they were typical cake (mostly bland)..so I have to admit I wasn't expecting anything overly great. But boy was I surprised!! All of our guest raved about how good it was & have even been asking if we had any left over (seriously). I can't thank Laurie enough, she nailed my color swatches that I sent her along with a picture of what I wanted it to look like. We had a 4 tier cake & she even did every tier a different flavor for us & each tier tasted amazing! The butter cream frosting instead of the typical fondant is what sets it off. Truly great work Laurie & I will highly recommend you to all of my friends, family & future brides!!

We decided on the almond cake with toasted coconut filling. It was outstanding, and so many of our guests raved about it. We had a star wars cake made, and it was just perfect. Looked just like the picture I sent. except she did it in butter cream instead of the fondant! I was so excited she could do that! The cake just fit the theme of our wedding perfectly, and over all was a very great price for what we asked for.

Great Cake! My guest loved it some having several pieces! I wanted a simple elegant design she nailed it! I used L&L events for draping and lightning and they were easy to work with had a lot of options, really liked him.

Alon did a fantastic job from start to finish. He furnished an array of cakes and flavors while I was in Florida (planned from out of state) and had a nice cake tasting for me. Considering how picky I am about cake and that I do not like chocolate cakes, I was excited at how well he nailed the creativity! The day of the wedding, he delivered the cake to the venue for us. The cake was beautiful! I'm only sorry that I can't leave a picture for it. Not only was the cake visually appealing, but it was DELICIOUS! Don't think twice... THIS is where you want to get your cake from.

I am very, very particular about food, so when my original cake vendor (the only one I liked after four tastings) went out of business five months before my wedding, it meant I was not only going to have to find another quality vendor to step up to the task, but that I would be serving a cake I would not have tasted myself because mine was a destination wedding and I was not going to be in town again until the wedding weekend. The idea of not being to "vet" the vendor via a personal tasting really stressed me out! At the suggestion of my wedding planner, I entrusted A Piece of Cake and worked with Laurie entirely over email. It turned out to be pretty easy: I picked a design I liked and a few flavors that sounded good, and then crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. When my wedding day came, I have to admit I was a little nervous about my "unvetted" cake at first, but I didn't have to worry after all: The cake was perfect—beautiful and classy, and most importantly, DELICIOUS! I am so very thankful that Laurie came through for me! Not only that, she even beat the price of my original cake vendor that went out of business, so it ended up being a win-win situation!

My wedding cake was not only delicious, but absolutely beautiful and totally on point stylistically. This is saying something considering I didn't know exactly what I wanted the cake to look like. Laurie is telepathic apparently, as her design, completely exceeding my expectations. Her design was classic with incredibly intricate Picasso Calla Lilly sugar flowers adorning the top and on each layer. Thanks to Laurie for making my wedding day so perfect. Laurie was a great help from day one. Very easy going and willing to explore different avenues with my wedding cake. I ended up changing the cake a few weeks before and she was very accommodating. Laurie was so great to work with for my daughter's wedding cakes! Being my son-in-law is a firefighter, the bride and groom had an idea to incorporate his profession into the wedding cake and they wanted to have cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. Laurie came up with a fun and unique design with the cupcakes tiered to resemble a building, and used colors and "flames" to make it appear the "building" was on fire. The result was just what the bride and groom wanted!!

Laurie made several flavors of cupcakes for us to try a few months prior to the wedding, and we loved all of them! Laurie was so nice to incorporate many of the flavors for the different cupcake tiers, so there was a nice variety for the reception. She also made a wonderful grooms cake modeled from my son-in-law's fire helmet, and it not only looked perfect, she suggested a cookie/brownie layered cake that was the hit of the reception! There wasn't a morsel left at the end of the night, and I still have friends who rave about that cake!!

I asked Laurie just a few days before a bridal shower for my daughter if she could make a small cake with her wedding colors, and it was beautiful and delicious!!

We were all so pleased with Laurie and A Piece of Cake, and we recommend her to anyone needing cakes or desserts. We wouldn't use anyone else!!

We chose A Piece of Cake for our wedding cake. We went in for a taste-testing and had the BEST wedding cake I had ever tasted. We decided to go with yellow cake over chocolate so that our guests would get to have both flavors. Now, I’m not usually a chocolate cake kind of person (I generally prefer yellow cake), but their chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream was out of this world! Our guests were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the cake was because they are used to “regular” wedding cake.

Laurie was great! She made an amazing cake and it was seriously so good! I got the pineapple cake and its so crazy because i never thought i would have a pineapple filling at my wedding but it was SO good! I picked a piece of cake out or a list of providers for amici's catering and I'm so glad i did. i had seen them at a wedding bridal show and already loved the cakes i saw and tasted and then when i saw they were a provider for amicis i was sold! i knew exactly where i was going and I'm so lucky i did! my caked look amazing and tasted great too!

Laurie with a Piece of Cake is amazing. Very friendly and professional. She takes the time to sit down with you and understand exactly how you want your cake made. From the flavor of cake and icing, to the color and specific designs. Her cakes are delicious and she has many different varieties to choose from! I have never been to a wedding where there was NO leftover cake... except my own! Every single person loved the flavor of my cake and groom's cake, and pleasing 350 people is NOT an easy thing to do! She made a beautiful Sylvia Weinstock inspired 7- tier masterpiece, and it was everything I ever dreamed I would have in a wedding cake. Not only was it beautiful, but it was absolutely the best cake we have ever eaten! Almost all of my guests shared my sentiments, and told us so as they were scrounging for the non-existent leftovers after the reception! I am so grateful for Laurie's patience and creative help through the whole process. She even tolerated a last minute change in the groom's cake!My mother and I have already recommended (most were upon requests after eating my cake!) to numerous family and friends, and I will never purchase another cake from anyone else as long as I am still living in the Tampa Bay area.

Lauire did our daughter's June 15, 2013 wedding and all we can say is : Great Cake, not a piece left ! Laurie is wonderful and easy to work with. Working with Laurie was a great experience! She gave me exactly what I wanted in a cake and it was beautiful! Appx 10 days before the wedding I wanted to change the one of the flavors, but Laurie had already ordered the items for the cake. I wish I had known she needed it 2 weeks before. But it actually all worked out and we have heard rave reviews about the cake. Some people even had 2 slices it was so good. It was moist and tasty and exactly what we wanted. I was so happy to work with A Piece of Cake. I had my heart set on a specific looking cake and was told by several other bakeries that I would not be able to get the cake I wanted in my price range. We would recommend Laurie not just for a wedding but for any of your bakery needs. She made our rehearsal dinner Groom's Cake (a replicate of our Bulldog) and our wedding cake. Everyone at the wedding ate all of the cake, there was nothing left. :) She also was able to accommodate our gluten free needs. Finding a good, no amazing gluten free cake is difficult; but Laurie made the most amazing gluten free cake. She is awesome!

I highly recommend A Piece of Cake for any bakery needs! For my wedding, Laurie (owner of A Piece of Cake) made a beautiful 4 tiered cake that was not only gorgeous but DELICIOUS as well! I have never been to a wedding and actually enjoyed the cake. EVERYONE was commenting in how absolutely delicious the cake was. I can't rave enough about how incredible the cake tasted. She also created a wonderful cotton candy station for my reception. All of her goodies were a huge hit! Be sure to book her for your event!

Laurie was amazing and so easy to work with. Approximately one month before the wedding, I added a "surprise" groom's cake, and it was a giraffe cake. You cannot believe how amazing this cake was! It looked like a real giraffe and was 3-D. The actual wedding cake was beautiful as well, and both cakes got amazing reviews...absolutely delicious!! You can't go wrong with this vendor. She was very prompt in responding to e-mails, and her prices are very reasonable compared to other wedding cake vendors. Make sure to contact Laurie. You'll be so glad you did!

Laurie Cinelli with A Piece of Cakes did an Awesome job on our Cakes. She did our wedding cake and I surprised my new hubby with a cake that looked like a bottle of Hennessey with a cigar and a fishing pole, all the things he love. He was floored when he saw the cake he actually didn't want to eat it. Now that's a GREAT Compliment from him because he is hardly surprised. Tell her Marie HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU to her, She is FANTASTIC and her price can't be beat. I shoped around believe you me, I'm a savy shopper!

This might be one of the best cakes we have ever tasted! My now husband isn't much on cakes but once he tasted Piece of cake, cakes he was all in. Normally you see so much cake left over at wedding well not ours everyone commented on how good the cake was. She did a great job getting the cake to the venue, setting up the cake, and finishing up the cake with a design we picked that used fresh flowers and our custom cake topper. My 3 tier cake, Lauried made as a replica of my dress and it was the most declicous cake I've ever tasted!!! Even ordering some valentines cupcakes from her for my husband and I to devour again. I have so many regrets of not stuffing my face more that day! :) Very moist and lots of delicous flavors. She definately know what shes doing. Highly, Highly, highly recommended.!!!!

Laurie executed my vision for a deconstructed cake to perfection! We had a modern, vintage carnival themed wedding and the cake for this event had to be perfect given that there would be no icing to cover any flaws, just filling. Laura at a peice of cake was wonderful! She was very helpful and accomodating with the ideas we wanted. She also had some of the best prices in Tampa. I had many guests tell me that was the best cake they'd ever had. She does beautiful work, would definitely reccommend!

We travelled in from out of town and never got to taste or see our cake until the reception. We'd found Laurie at A Piece of Cake online and requested a VEGAN cake which is always a gamble. We chose a three tiered lemon cake with raspberry preserves, and it was so good! Our guests couldn't believe it was vegan and my husband ate two pieces! The cake was beautiful and we couldn't have been happier.

Piece of Cake is honestly the best cake I’ve ever tasted and seen! Once we had our cake tasting, my husband and I were blown away. Laurie is awesome at what she does. I had ideas of what I wanted, and she drew it out and knew exactly how to make it perfect for us. When I saw the cake on our wedding day – it was perfect & beautiful down to the smallest detail. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the cake was. We couldn’t have been happier and will definitely use Piece of Cake again for future events. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Laurie at A Piece of Cake was awesome! We went to our tasting and were able to taste a variety of flavors. She was excited to work with us and gave us exactly what we wanted. We did a four tier wedding cake with polka dots and our monogram on the third tier. She is very professional and responds to emails quickly. Our cake was included in our wedding package at the Grand Plaza. All of our guests loved the cake!! We made sure to get a piece at the wedding and it was delicious! Amazing job! I would order from them again for another occasion.

Working with Laurie at a piece of cake was just that "a piece of cake"!! She was so accommodating and really worked with us and our budget!! She was able to make the beautiful delicious cake we dreamed of for a price that we could afford. She was so easy to get in touch with and everything just fell into place. Laurie was great to meet with before the wedding. She allowed us to taste several cakes and helped us pick out the perfect 3 tiered cake. She also helped us decide what type of flowers we could have our florist decorate the cake and table with. Since we had a destination wedding, she was easy to work with and was very flexible with our needs. She also offered great knowledge and expertise to make our wedding day "a piece of cake!"

We loved our wedding cake! We had a great experience with Laurie from A Piece of Cake. Our cake was included in our catering contract with Amici's, so all we had to pay was a delivery fee and a very slight upcharge for some decorations. Buttercream frosting was included and Laurie was able to make our desired design using that. We had a modern look to our cake, and it came out exactly as we had described to her. Our guest were raving about the cake all night! We had a 4 tier cake, and she made each tier and different flavor/filling combination at no extra charge. Every tier was delicious! We would definitely recommend A Piece of Cake to anyone and we will be going back to them in the future. Laurie was very accommodating and helpful! They make a delicious cake!

I could gush about the wonderful cake that we got from Laurie! The cake was kind of a last minute idea for me... I am actually from Canada and she was so helpful. I really wanted something different that I couldnt find in Canada. So I decided on doing push up cake pops in a stand and then having a small cake on top. There were so many different flavors to pick from! Once we got down there I had a meeting with Laurie and she was so nice and helpful. We got to try the flavors I picked and WOW! I wanted to bring her back to Canada with me. I kinda gave her creative pick on the cake she did and it turned out way better than anything I could've thought up! I would definitely recomend this company! The price was so great for what we got!

A Piece of Cake literally made my cake decisions a breeze. I found out about a Piece of Cake by sampling one of their cakes at White Closet Bridal. I immediately scheduled an appointment with them because their cake was delicious! Laurie was able to schedule an appointment and work with my tight schedule since I was only in town for the weekend. She listened to all the details of my wedding and sketched a cake design that fit within the look and feel of my wedding. Her pricing was very fair for the cake and the actual cake for my wedding was beautiful. And of course everyone talked about how delicious the cake was!
