Shay and Jason shot our wedding, and I could not have been happier. After listening to everyone telling me that her prices were too high and then showing them her work, compared to people in the price range they were telling me was reasonable, I won everyone over, and I am so glad that I did. She captured all the photos I wanted, as well as some I didn't know I would. Her personality was everything my wedding party needed to stay on time. She is just a joy to work with, and we plan to keep working with her in the future, as our family hopefully expands. -

I cannot say enough great things about working with Shay and Jason. From the moment we met Shay she has been so helpful and personable with us. Through the planning process, she had great communication and worked with me to make sure no details were missed. The day of, Shay was amazing. She captured every moment beautifully Her and Jason were so flexible with the ever changing plans with the weather that day. The thing I will remember most though was her not just being someone behind the camera. You can tell Shay truly cares. From coming to me and allowing me to take some breaths through the day to helping fix my bustle, she didn’t just feel like a vendor, she felt like a trusted friend. I am so thankful we chose Shay to capture our day and have these memories to cherish forever. If you need a photographer, you will not be disappointed booking Shay and her team! -

Would recommend over and over again!
Shay was absolutely incredible to work with on our wedding day! From the moment she arrived, she made both my husband and me feel completely comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Her warm personality and great sense of humor made every photo moment feel natural and fun. The photos themselves turned out absolutely gorgeous -every shot was filled with emotion, detail, and her signature artistic touch. It’s clear that Shay puts a great deal of time, effort, and passion into her craft. Her creative vision for each photo was spot on and captured the essence of our day perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and will truly treasure these photos forever. I highly recommend Shay for any engagement or wedding-she definitely has repeat customers in us! -

Amazing photos and experience
Shay Scala Photography did our engagement pictures and I am obsessed with how they turned out! She managed to get natural smiles and the whole process was great. She worked with us to reschedule due to bad weather, was willing to hike to get better shots and put up with the terrible humidity all while making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and offering helpful tips for our wedding day. She was super quick in the return time for sneak peeks and our whole album, and was more than helpful when it came to troubleshooting some issues we had with downloading them. Overall, I highly recommend her and we had a great time taking the pictures and couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out.

Shay is a wonderful photographer! She is a fun, kind, creative person, who is passionate about capturing life's perfect moments through photography. Shay was the photographer for my sister's wedding and then my husband and my wedding, and she did an amazing job on both occasions. I feel like she is part of our family now. I highly recommend Shay as a photographer, she does beautiful work. -

Shay captured the perfect moments for our eldest daughter's wedding 2 years ago, and now she will be our photographer for our youngest daughter in June 2018. You can't choose a better person to spend with on your wedding day who brings the day come to life in photographs! Thank you so much, Shay!!!

It is absolutely amazing how many pictures she was able to take at my wedding( 102 people) at JWR by herself. She seemed to get every single person. She is absolutely incredible at what she does. We really loved all her crazy photo ideas and poses they were so much fun and turned out perfect. I highly recommend her for any photo experience you need!
