We had the absolute pleasure of working with Note of Elegance for my daughter’s wedding, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jesse and Kurtis. They played violin and guitar for both the church ceremony and the cocktail hour, and the music they created was nothing short of magical.
Their extensive music library made it so easy to find the perfect blend of classic pieces and modern favorites. Jesse worked closely with my daughter to curate the ideal ceremony selections, and her guidance, creativity, and genuine care made the entire process feel effortless. The cocktail hour music was equally memorable, elevated, elegant, and beautifully played.
Jesse and Kurtis are true musicians in every sense, deeply talented, professional, and passionate. Their sound together is so classy and elegant, adding a level of sophistication that truly set the tone for the entire day. Their ability to transform a moment with music is nothing short of breathtaking, and their presence elevates an event in a way few artists can.
Also, Jesse is an absolute joy to work with: warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to creating unforgettable moments. She and Kurtis brought a level of artistry and heart that exceeded every expectation.

The best violinist for our wedding ceremony!
We had a Christmas wedding and hired Kurtis to play during the ceremony. He was absolutely incredible and his playing made our ceremony so beautiful and special. Kurtis was also super quick to respond and very easy to work with. I had a very specific idea in mind for our music and he was so accommodating and brought my vision to life.A Note of Elegance's reply:

We are so grateful for the beauty Jesse and Curtis added to our wedding day. My husband and I knew music would be one of the most important elements of our wedding to us, and Jesse and Curtis couldn't have delivered more perfectly. They took the time to learn new songs that we requested, ask questions, and go over every detail of how we wanted the music presented (timing, cues, order of songs, etc.) We included a "ring warming" in our ceremony where our rings were passed to and "blessed" by our immediate family (parents, siblings, nephews) while Jesse and Curtis played. It took extra coordination to determine cues to start/stop, especially since we weren't exactly sure how long it would take our family to pass the rings around and couldn't exactly time it out beforehand. Their professionalism and close attention to detail made it absolutely seamless, and easily one of the most special and memorable parts of our ceremony. Also, all of our wedding events took place at the same venue, and I was nervous about how the flow would be between the pre-ceremony gathering, ceremony, and cocktail hour, without our venue coordinator having to wrangle our guests around. Live music was the key factor in creating a perfect, natural flow for our day, all thanks to Jesse and Curtis. We can't recommend A Note of Elegance more highly!!A Note of Elegance's reply:

Jesse and her husband, Kurtis, were nothing short of INCREDIBLE. They provided the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and were so collaborative and wonderful throughout the entire process. Kurtis played the violin at our ceremony and an electric violin at cocktail hour! He learned a new song for the recessional that had sheet music, and then another for the processional that had no sheet music. He learned that song by ear!!! It took time and effort to do this, and despite an additional cost, they did not upcharge me for this request. The price they quoted was beyond reasonable, especially for the attention to detail and talent that they bring. I am so happy to have reached out to Jesse and been connected to their business for our wedding. What wonderful people with an incredible business!! A Note of Elegance played the violin and cello during our Church wedding ceremony. There are no words to describe how incredible A Note of Elegance was, not only on our wedding day, but throughout the journey of wedding planning! Jesse made the process so easy, was quick at responding to emails, and made time out of her busy day to confirm details to make sure everything was perfect. When researching musicians during the search process, Jesse and her husband’s music sounded so beautiful and elegant. There was an element of naturality that was the definition of graceful. Even our family, friends, and bridal party complimented A Note of Elegance on how naturally the music filled the Church. Jesse is also, by far, one of the sweetest people and most patient person I have met. We truly cannot recommend A Note of Elegance enough! -

When we decided that we wanted live music for our ceremony, we were unsure of where to turn. Luckily we found a note of elegance and could not have worked out better. Coordinating with Jessie was easy as she helped us make our music choices, and Erika and Steven were extremely talented performers. Working with Jesse and Kurtis was super special for our big day. We had a call to kick off what we were looking for. They came forward with options but also allowed us to pick songs that worked for us.
The songs we picked did not have sheet music for their instruments easily found online so Kurtis wrote them to fit their needs! That was so special they took the time to do this.
Jesse is also amazing to work with. She is extremely communicative and asks all the right questions. We appreciate their attentiveness to us and their professionalism. Jesse did an absolutely beautiful job as the violinist at our wedding ceremony!! She was a joy to work with during the whole wedding planning process. I had no issues with getting a hold of her ever, and she followed every little detail I requested of her to a T! She has a huge repertoire of all sorts of different music and is sure to already know something that you would love to have as part of your ceremony. For our ceremony, she played music ranging from classical to pop love songs to the Legend of Zelda! She really tailored the playlist to exactly what we wanted for our wedding. And she plays so beautifully!! As a violinist myself, I really appreciated her talent. Walking down the aisle after we were married to Fly Me to the Moon being played on the violin was truly a magical moment. We are so grateful to Jesse for helping make our wedding a fairytale!! Plus, she is an incredibly positive person to work with—I always felt that she was so excited for us and excited to make our ceremony vision a reality! Jesse and Erika are fantastic! They are extremely professional and have everything thought through! For my wedding ceremony I was going to have my DJ play some simple music, but after careful consideration I found that a violinist would be so much more elegant and timeless. I had Erika play at my wedding ceremony, she was extremely professional and responded quickly as well. I had reached out to them only about a week and a half before my wedding date and they were able to manage to be there for me! Having a violinist at my wedding was always a dream but I didn’t think it would be possible. These women made it possible! They not only did they work with me on a short timeline but it is extremely affordable! My guests raved about how beautiful the music was and how great the selection as well. They had everything from alternative, classical, rock to even Disney classic movie music! I would highly recommend them for any event you may have!A Note of Elegance's reply:

We hired both Jesse and her husband for our wedding this past June and she was amazing from the start! Response time was great. She provided a list of songs she already had prepared as well as offered to learn any. Her list was so great everything I wanted was already on there (even the Game of Thrones theme)! The week of the wedding there was a last minute switch of location and she was overly accommodating/understanding. The ceremony was beautiful and the music definitely added to the moment. My husband said he held it together right until they started playing the song I walked down to, Perfect. A Note of Elegance is the best. We had the most dreamy and ethereal ceremony because of Jesse.
We booked Jesse/A Note of Elegance to play the violin during our wedding ceremony and she knocked it out of the park! All of our guests were so moved by her music and skills. We received multiple compliments!! As I walked down the aisle with my Dad, the sound of her playing Imagine by John Lennon brought me to tears. It was simply stunning. Jesse learned 3 new songs just for our ceremony in only a few weeks. She played Harvest Moon by Neil Young, Magic by Cold Play and the song I walked down the aisle to. It was simply magical.
Not only is she just an exceptional violinist, but she truly was one of my most favorite vendors to work with! She was on top of everything and SO RESPONSIVE and organized! Not to mention she is just a sweetheart. She and I communicated via email about my song requests for our processional and recessional and she didn't have any issues with my special requests. In addition, I love that she uses Venmo for easy payment! On the day of the wedding she was early and looked so polished and beautiful. I could go on and on!

Last year, I was sitting in AWE at my friend’s wedding ceremony. Her violinist had SKILLS Y’ALL- insanely talented. She was playing both new and old songs that the guests recognized and loved. I knew I had to have her play at my big day! Jess from A Note of Elegance was sweet and professional from the very beginning. She has a long playlist with different genres. She even took the time to learn a song for me and my husband (THOMAS RHETT). She was always quick to answer any questions I had. Lori Sent on 11/14/2017Jess absolutely took our garden wedding ceremony to the next level! She is talented, professional and accommodating beyond belief. The range of songs she played - everything from The Beatles to the theme song of The Godfather trilogy - was phenomenal. Jess was even able to get the version of "Can't Help Falling In Love" (that I requested just a week prior to our event) transcribed and performed it during our first dance! My husband and all of our guests could not say enough about Jess. We highly recommend A Note Of Elegance and can't wait to be able to book Jess to perform at another event!
