We worked with Jessie on our special day to help add a special solo-violinist touch to our wedding ceremony, and she was fantastic! From the moment we first talked to Jessie and going all the way beyond our day she was SO passionate and a great communicator! Having that passion as a part of our day was perfection. I hadn't planned on having live music at my wedding, but when I thought about my ceremony and cocktail hour, I knew I wanted something different and special. It came to me that I should look for a violinist. Jessie was recommended to me by our planner, and I am so thankful she was available for our wedding! A Major Harmony has so many different options available and her list of music is extensive! It was hard narrowing the song list down, but we were able to come up with an awesome line-up. She even provided us with a song that wasn't on her list because it was special to us. Many of our guests commented on how unique the entertainment was. Jessie was the perfect choice for our wedding day. We wanted an intimate gathering for both our ceremony and reception with the emotional backdrop of live music. Jessie is brilliantly talented, so professional, and incredibly kind. She understands the importance of creating a beautiful and emotional environment for your wedding day. We had multiple phone calls leading up to our wedding where she worked with us patiently, and you could tell she was invested in making our day meaningful and authentic to us. She even worked with us to create a special package that worked for us, by adding a few extra hours of personalized music selection after our cocktail hour and dinner. She served as live musician but also DJ during the reception by helping to play our curated playlist. She was able to read the crowd and weave in her live music throughout the reception mixed with our playlist. I will never forget the beauty of her solo violin to set the scene during the pre-ceremony and while I was walking down the aisle. She was so lovely and kind to work with, and truly wanted to help us make our day meaningful and authentic in a way that was true to us. She even sent a sweet text the next morning to check in and give us some encouraging insight to marriage. These little things were so noticed and appreciated. I can't recommend Jessie enough. Our day wouldn't have been the same without her talent and ability to set the scene for our intimate gathering. Book her!

Jessies’s music on guitar, violin and voice set the tone for our daughter’s wedding at Pamlico Sound Inn on the Outer Banks. She’s an accomplished musician and delightful performer. I was very happy with the range and diverse kinds of music she can play, from classical to rock and blues. Jessie handled the wedding moving from dock in the sound to dinner on deck overlooking easily and announced all toast etc, beautifully. She handled all sound equipment masterfully. I had her play the violin for my wedding ceremony. She was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and helpful throughout the entire planning process, which was absolutely amazing considering I hired her last minute. I thought I could save money and not have a violinist and then at the last minute decided it was something I couldn’t live without! Totally worth it! She sent me audio samples of her work and answered my million questions. She was very appropriately dressed and her music was like from a movie. My guests especially loved her. Jessie was super responsive and helpful! I always dreamed of having a violinist at my wedding and she did not disappoint. Working with Jessie and A Major Harmony was such a delightful experience. From the very first contact, Jessie was communicative and thoughtful as we worked out the details of our wedding. She help walk us through all the details necessary to have a wonderful wedding day. On the day of the ceremony, Jessie and her fellow musicians (we had a trio of two violins and a cello) were professional and their music was glorious as the notes danced in the air, inviting our guests to relax and engage with the magic of the day. Even when part of our wedding party had a delay, Jessie and her musicians handled the delay very professionally and our guests never knew they were waiting. Beautiful addition to my intimate wedding ceremony
Jessie was amazing!! We had a small private wedding ceremony at our vacation rental on the beach in Nags Head, NC. As the bride I didnt have to do anything day of, she just showed up and started playing beautiful music I could hear from the room while getting ready, and that my guest could enjoy pre-ceremony.
She was set up on the beach during the ceremony and I loved being able to hear her music as I walked down the isle and during our Union ceremony. It was beautiful.
Jesse really worked with me and provided the exact songs requested. She really made the feel of my intimate ceremony that much better.

Jessie was so professional and easy to work with! I chose the violin-oke ceremony package and highly recommend it! It was so unique, fun and beautiful. Everybody enjoyed it, and I had a few people comment on the great song selection. I can't take any credit for that, as I had no clue what songs to play but Jessie helped with that. She had a wonderful pre-set song list for the 20 minutes before the ceremony, and then a list for me to choose from for the ceremony.

Jessie was amazing! We had a small wedding with only 15 people due to covid. I was afraid that having a small wedding ceremony at a church on Cape Hatteras would feel empty, but music really helped fill the space. Jessie played a song for us that was not in her library at our request. She also helped lead some parts of the Catholic mass very well when we needed a cantor/music. We highly recommend Jessie and having string instruments for your ceremony/wedding!

Jessie was great and very helpful throughout the whole process! In the beginning she was really thorough in describing the different styles and packages she offers which really helped us choose what was best for us. Jessie also helped us in planning out our timeline. We chose the Violin-Oke for both our ceremony and cocktail hour music and the Guitar/Vocals for our dinner reception. We loved every bit of it and so did our guests. By the end of the dinner some of our guests loved the music so much they were even asking us if they could pay us to extend her time!! Jessie made the song selection very easy for us too with her pre-selected play lists. It made it easier for us to pick our favorite songs from the master list and then choose the rest from the pre-selected lists. Lastly, Jessie was very flexible, we were supposed to have our ceremony on the beach, but had to make the decision to move it inside due to weather and Jessie was helpful in our decision making and was able to set-up perfectly inside! Additionally, with having to move the ceremony inside it made a much shorter isle to walk down and I was worried that there would not be enough time for each ceremony song to play, but Jessie made it work beautifully and it couldn't have turned out more perfectly!

Wonderful Wedding Experience!

Jessie was wonderful to work with! So helpful in the planning process of music selection. She has quite a variety of music to chose from and also allows you to do special requests. I had requested I Get to Love You but Ruelle last minute and she accommodated. My guests said she was great - I wish I would have booked her to continue to play during cocktail hour as I didn’t get to enjoy from the house while waiting to walk down the aisle. Would recommend Jessie if you are getting married on Hatteras Island or nearby!

Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour
We had a small wedding celebration for my son and his wife. Jessie was the violinist for the ceremony then played acoustic guitar and provided vocals for the party. 20th wedding anniversary
Jessie is amazing. We set up a surprise 20th anniversary wedding ceremony for my wife. We were supposed to do it at the beach but the summer storms didn’t allow. We set up in our a house and when my wife’s walked in and heard Jessie playing our wedding song “Just you and me”, it was a rare time that brought my wife to tears. She plays the electric violin like an angel.
What ever you are planning, big or small (and we were only 9 people) book Jesse. She is worth every penny!!

Jessie is beautiful inside and out! Her singing, her playing, everything! We were a covid wedding last May that had to be postponed. During that time, Jessie was more than flexible and lifted our spirits by uploading a cover of the song we'd be having our first dance to. (Jessie to sing on guitar, check her out on YouTube!). Very emotional! Wedding day, Jessie and Kim were early, prepared, and ready to go. We did not have a coordinator day of so things were hectic, but Jessie and Kim transitioned with ease. Many compliments from our guests and even the random beach goers! Highly recommend. Thank you Jessie for being so amazing!!

Made our wedding day so amazing!
When we originally found Jessie on WeddingWire, we were initially drawn to her professionalism in comparison to the other performers in the area. The same day we contacted Jessie through her website AMajorHarmony.com, we received a direct phone call from her to talk about details so that we weren't lost in a bunch of e-mails to make multiple decisions. She very quickly became one of our favorite people to work because she gave us amazing advice where we needed it. I was out of town for a lot of the lead up to the wedding and forced to only communicate via e-mail, she was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. We just gave her a couple suggestions and asked her to choose music based around it, she did phenomenal. I speak more highly then anything about her responsiveness and professionalism, but what I don't want to get lost is how talented she is. I highly recommend her for whatever event you are having, she did guitar and singing, violin, and violin-oke for us, as well as went above and beyond and MC'ed for us as well and made our wedding day so much more memorable by being involved. One of our favorite wedding memories
Like so many couples, our wedding plans changed dramatically this year and we were so grateful Jessie was available to play violin at our intimate ceremony and then “violin-oke” for our cocktail reception. She was so lovely and easy to work with, and was able to pull off a surprise “Indiana Jones” theme song for our recession with less than two weeks notice. We’re so glad Jessie could be part of our day and our families continue to complement how great she was. If you can, definitely book her!

Such a kindhearted, talented soul!
We had booked Jessie for our mini destination wedding in OBX, however, due to the pandemic and travel restrictions recently put in place we had to cancel just 2 weeks away from our big day. Jessie was extremely understanding given our situation and we are deeply saddened we won't be able to have Jessie play for our ceremony. She has an enormous variety between classical and contemporary music to choose from, and others vendors we have looked at do not even compare. If you don't book with Jessie, you will be missing out!

Perfect last minute touch
I decided very last minute to have live music at our wedding. We only had a few guests, and we weren't doing too many traditional things. Jessie is fantastic in her musical playing and in her professionalism. She was incredibly easy to work with, and she stepped us through the entire process of selecting songs. She was flexible in adding a song that was not on her song list. We had her play solo violin and it was a very lovely touch to our small ceremony. She showed up before everyone else and got right in to playing music for the guests that began to straggle in. Our ceremony was located at Jennette's pier and Jessie knew exactly where to set up so as not to be in the way, but also close enough so we would all easily hear the music.

Hiring Jessie to play music at our vow renewal was one of the best decisions ever. Our vow renewal was a surprise one, meaning my wife didn't know about it until the big day. Jessie was able to work everything out via email and was very helpful the whole time. I didn't have to worry about anything! She helped me with music selection, and deciding when the best times for her to play would be. She was very prompt in answering any questions.
On our big day, she arrived early and was all ready to play at the big moment when we all walked in. She played several songs that had a lot of meaning to us, and they were all performed amazingly. Having music added a whole new element to our day and made it much more romantic. My wife and I can't imagine our vow renewal service without her being a part of it. It would have been completely different with no music or something pre-recorded. It just wouldn't have been the same! Live music is just something special and we can't recommend it enough.
If you are searching for someone to perform for your big day, Jessie is definitely the best. You won't find another artist who is as friendly and talented as Jessie! I wish we could rate her higher than 5 out of 5!

Jessie is amazing and she and her husband did a wonderful job at our wedding on August 8th. I had originally selected another vendor. Unfortunately, she was very slow to respond. Eventually, I talked to my wedding coordinator and she suggested Jessie. She said, "She is very talented and very responsive. You won't have any issues." She was exactly right. There is so much to deal with when planning a wedding that it is very difficult getting everything done. Jessie guides you through the whole process and makes it so easy. She is very easy to work with and prompt. Most importantly though, she and her husband are very talented musicians who made our ceremony complete!

Our ceremony was outside at the Whalehead Club in the Outer banks and she played the violin for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. We received so many compliments about the music and our guest enjoyed her very much.
She is so talented and on top of that so sweet! Jessie was so easy to work with from the beginning planning to our wedding day. I actually hadn't even given her a few of the songs until the day prior and basically just told her that I trusted her- she did an amazing job. In addition her pricing was so reasonable which was why we had her come to the cocktail hour as well. I would recommend her to anybody!

My husband and I were extremely happy with the entire wedding, including the performance at the ceremony, and from what we've heard from guests, the cocktail hour. While we didn't actually meet Jessie at the Outer Banks Wedding Expo, we did stop by her booth and picked up a demo CD. On our ride back home, we listened to the music, as well as a couple of other CDs that we had gotten at the Expo, and decided before we got home that we were going to hire Jessie. Once we started the booking and planning, everything went very smoothly. Communication in response to our questions was prompt, and the fact that she learned a song for us in ONE day was absolutely amazing.
